Ben was great!  I gave him a call in the morning for a quote,  he was able to schedule me in the same day and come out in the afternoon.  I had two tasks that I needed help with:  fixing a spigot and moving the washer and dryer out so I could clean underneath as we had an overflow issue.  He was polite, efficient and professional.  In just under two hours everything was done.  Ben was an absolute perfectionist. He made sure to test out the washer/ dryer after he reconnected both. He noticed that the washer was shaking a lot during the extraction process.  So he took extra time to level and make sure everything was in good order.

Will definitely be reaching back out for any future projects!

There was a time when Harry Clark was a top notch ethical company and I would have rated them with a 5 star review.  Sadly, that is no longer true.  The single star is required.

I have used Harry Clark for many years.  Unfortunately, something has significantly changed...outrageous price gouging!  I called them to snake my clean out, and they informed me that the clean-out needed replacing.  They did not provide a written estimate, and I woefully assumed the price would be reasonable. When I asked the sewer foreman how much it would be, he said 3,000.00.  But let's keep our fingers crossed.  I thought he was joking.  He then went on to say that I needed sewer lateral work, at an astonishing 15,000.00 above and beyond the outrageous 3K for the clean-out .When I told the sewer foreman that that was too much, he then stated how about 11,500.00. ?  Something wasn't right here.  So, I immediately, stopped them from doing any further work, and promptly secured several estimates from other reputable companies.  

All of the other plumbing & sewer companies came in with estimates between 9,000 - 9,200 for the sewer lateral work.  And they all provided quotes for the clean out replacement that ranged from 1200.00 - 1500.00.  A significant disparity in pricing.  When I called Harry Clark to negotiate a lower rate based on the market and what other companies are charging, and a longstanding 20 year relationship, the manager (Brad) became hostile, raising his voice, and argumentative.  I was taken aback by his  unprofessional conduct.  

I am not quite sure what to make of all of this.  But this isn't the Harry Clark that I've done business with for 20 years.  I will never use them again, ever.  The price gouging leads me to suspect that commissions or some other unethical practice is taking place.  

Take it from me, get other estimates before letting this company rob you.

Water heater died, wizard came at 9pm and we had hot water by 11pm. Awesome guys! Will use them again!

Last month Oakland Rooter & Plumbing did a complete copper repipe on my house, including a new supply line from the water main. In one day. I couldn't believe it. The job was clean and professional. Competitive pricing and great communication.

Had a leak in the pipes behind a wall downstairs. They came quickly and fixed the leak. The price seemed fair given I didn't have much choice and it was the weekend. Seemed very flexible with work and schedule.

Damon at Berkeley Home Repair responded to my initial query within ten minutes. After fully assessing the problem I had described, he got back to me to say someone could be there within the day. His electrician arrived on time and repaired the issue within a half hour of being there. Great communication, follow up, and repair. So happy it went so smoothly! Thanks guys!

I highly recommend this company and especially Marcus for their prompt service. I had a major sink clogged in my kitchen which had to be snaked. Marcus was able to unclog it after many attempts. He improvised in this situation which saved me a lot of headache and also in cost.

Hired flow masters to come in and replace my garbage disposal that went out.  Communication was clear, quick and the job was done same day as I accepted the offer.  Very professional workers and left my sink area cleaner than they found it!  Great company and would use them again with confidence!

I left a good review previously. i called them back for same problem, blocked drain. I didnt ask for an estimate as it was $89 last time. this time he suggested replacing a pipe under the sink. i agreed. he was here an hour, charged me $570. i was staggered, felt ripped off. always get an estimate.

I've been wanting to install a tankless water heater for some time now.  I wasn't expecting my water heater to fail on me as soon as it did, but things happen.  I went out and bought a tankless and then started looking for companies to do the install as that's the only way to preserve the warenty.   I had three different companies in mind, but Innovative Radiant Heating was the company I went with more for the fact that they're local and I like to support local businesses.  We talked, got a quote, and they showed up on time to do the work.  They did a great job and were pleasant to talk to.  Everything works great, and we're stoked.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for this type of installation.

In shock, pressed for time, and dealing with a difficult tenant,
I agreed to pay $490 to replace a toilet flapper and a out door
hose bib. It took the plumber 35 minutes to do this. I asked
the plumber what the hourly rare was and he responded that
they no longer use an hourly rate. Future customers beware!

I had a very positive experience with Arch Plumbing, who we hired to fix a running toilet issue.  Good service, reasonable prices, and excellent communications.  

The owner, Alfredo, responded promptly to my request for a quote on Yelp and was very easy to communicate and coordinate with via both text and Yelp messaging.  

Arch was able to send a technician out the day after I reached out.  The technician - who was named Christian - arrived on time, was good to work with, and replaced the flapper and handle on the toilet.

Arch is tech-savvy, and provided automated text updates noting when the technician was on his way and when the job was complete.  I also received a bill via email after the appointment which was easy to pay online.

Additionally, when I had a question about my bill, Alfredo responded quickly and professionally.  

Overall, I am quite pleased with Arch Plumbing and would hire them again!

This is our 6th complete bathroom remodel in 3 different homes over the past 10 years.  I've also done quite a bit of home construction in a previous lifetime and am avid DIY'er. I'm very demanding on the quality of work. I've worked with a large number of remodeling crews, bath and whole home. Most of these are marginal with average or below quality.  Roman's team is the best with outstanding quality.  We could not be more pleased.  We had a cracked shower in a bathroom that we'd considered remodeling for quite a while. I was concerned the crack was due to underlying floor issues in our 25 year old home. As everyone knows, it is nearly impossible to find skilled help now. I discovered Roman through Yelp.  He was very responsive with fair prices and agreed to provide staff to diagnose the crack.  This initial work enabled me to further assess his team. After working with them for a couple of days we decided to remodel the entire bathroom: new shower with 24x12 tiles, same tiles on floor, custom 3/8 glass shower walls on 2 sides, new vanity, Hansgrohe faucets and controls, new baseboards, and repainting all walls and ceiling.  We encountered far more than the normal problems.  Roman quickly gave me fair and modified pricing to handle the additional tasks and his team quickly adjusted. The result is world class quality at very fair rates.  The tile work is impeccable. All corners are perfect 90 degrees and all surfaces flat, vertical and horizonal.  I put levels everywhere to verify.  They consistently proactively pointed out problems in the previous construction they could have hidden and would have resurfaced years later as apparently normal maintenance.  This was invaluable. Their attention to detail is outstanding.  For example, they caulked all baseboard lower and upper touch points to the floors and walls.  The caulk lines are perfect. The painting is spot on with exact lines where the walls and ceiling meet with different colors. They spray painted the doors which had many irregular corners.  They consistently went the extra mile to do things right.  The European style vanity required much customization for the drain and water lines.  They expertly modified the vanity and drains as well as the heat vent below.  We wanted a clean modern look.  The result is perfect. We could not be more pleased. We always use Roman and his team for home remodels in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about Z and Z Plumbing for all jobs large and small !! Every interaction has been professionally completed and included education on how to avoid the situation for next time when possible. Today it was Eddie and Felix who installed a new faucet in under an hour including the new water line in a teeny tiny space which requires one to be a yogi to fit in it!! They were on time, cleaned up after themselves and were cheerful at 8:00 in the morning. They arrived wearing masks and used social distancing so we were all protected in the new normal of COVID-19. Z and Z Plumbing has  replaced a sewer line, pulled 2 toilets, installed a dishwasher and fixed 2 clogged drains at our house. ( Oh the joys of an old house :-) This review is long overdue. Drigo provided excellent service.  Responded quickly to my email for a quote our clogged  kitchen sink. He's professional and was able to fix the clog problem.  Drigo noticed that our garbage disposal was turned off.  I told him another plumber suggested we not use it because there's metal inside that may come out.  So we stopped using the garbage disposal. He was able unclog pipes with bones and yucky stuff.  Now we can use the garbage disposal.  Whoo...hoo!
NO need to search Yelp for an honest and dependable plumber.  Will call Drigo, again...for future plumbing work. I will make another appointment so he can come back and replace our shower head and toilet in our upstairs bathroom.
