Best Tankless Water Heater Repair in San Francisco CA
Hiring Beastbay Plumbing is always a great decision! About a year and a half ago, I met Ron and they did the two shower tub enclosures, fixed an outdoor leaky faucet, replaced the ball valve in the front yard and updated the plumbing fixtures for our washer and dryer. This week, I had an old water heater that needed replacing. Everyone was great: from Dee the best dispatcher, Robert who assessed the situation and patiently explained in detail various options and Mitchell who did an awesome job replacing the water heater and necessary connections. I would definitely recommend Beastbay Plumbing for their quality work, honesty, professionalism and really caring about their customers!

I have always felt confidant with these local plumbers. I went to High School with Steve and Sandy's sons, Scott and Spencer and was so happy to have them show up at my door when I had my first home owner's emergency. They always walk me through what has to be done, and when it's all over, everything is clean, tight and working perfectly. We just had a tankless water heater installed and the job went exactly as planned and even when I needed a minor follow up visit, they were happy to help me the very next day! Love it! Friendly, family oriented, reliable and always willing to pet the dogs even when they are barking!

Outstanding Service. We've been using them for years and have recommended them many times to family and friends.
They are a family owned business, and the treat their customers like family.
They are prompt, considerate, and highly professional. They clean up and put everything back as they found it.
We trust them so much, we can leave the house while they're working in it, and just let them do what they need to do.
We will never use any other plumbing company.

My hot water heater blew up in the middle of the night. Being the DIY guy that I am, I ran out and picked up a tank from Lowe's and started to install it myself. It wasn't long before I hit a major roadblock with 100-year-old deteriorating pipes and had to hang my head in defeat and call in a pro. I called several of the big dogs here on Yelp and all of them scoffed and turned my business away. I mean, why not? They make bank on selling you a heater themselves, why mess with Lowe's bought garbage. It wasn't looking good for me until I reached Nick at Advanced. He was out to my house within a couple hours to assess the situation and made plans to come back after I got off of work to finish my job. Classy guy & very reliable. I didn't hesitate to call him AGAIN a week later when my downstairs neighbor's hot water heater exploded and filled the basement with about 10 inches of standing water. Nick came out and pumped the basement dry and had a new heater in by the end of the day. He even gave me a pipe fitting to help get my gas line hooked up to my newly purchased dryer that day to save me a trip to the hardware store. It's nice to have YOUR plumber saved in your phone :)

Pipe Arts (Edgar) found and repaired a few pipe leaks in our house 8 years ago. We had a wet spot show up on the ceiling and we contacted Edgar again. He was able to come out and take a look at it. He found that a vent pipe was broken and that the wetness was caused by condensation. He had the parts available and was able to fix the problem quickly.
I highly recommend Pipe Arts/Edgar and will definitely be contacting him if I have any more pipe concerns.

Ygnacio has been fantastically helpful to my husband and I after we bought a new house which needed, and continues to need, some work! Whether it's a big project like installing a kitchen and bathroom or something small like fixing a running toilet he has been able to provide us with efficient, professional and affordable help or recommendations for everything we've encountered. I highly recommend his services, really nice guy and easy to work with as well!

We had a 29yo water heater finally leak and needed a replacement fast. Checked around Yelp for some water heater installers and got several quotes. With their Yelp 10% discount, Plumbing Guys' price was as much as $400 lower than one of the bids and a good $150 lower than most. They came out the same day, installed the new unit, and hauled away the old one.

We had a couple of clogged sinks at our house and Erwyn's came out quickly and snaked a clog 75 feet into our pipes. They cleaned everything up nicely after the fix and charged an honest price ($275) for clearing both sinks and for their two man crew's hour of work.
Another highly rated Yelp plumber had already come out and had been unable to snake the clog. They had told me that I need to replace my piping in my crawl space and that the job would have cost me $4,000.
I'm glad I got a second opinion from Erwyn's.

This review is long overdue - Tom at Van Go Rooter is absolutely awesome! We have a small building we manage with a few units so don't have an in-house handyman, but Tom has officially become our go-to plumber. We initially met Tom for a small plumbing job when we started to see a leak in one of our tenants units. He came over right away and was able to quickly diagnose the issue. Since then, I have been on texting terms with Tom whenever we have an issue and he has even come over on his days off. Our building has pipes from the early 1900s and Tom has been able to fix many other projects including a massive project that included digging up concrete and a large part of our garage. Tom is reasonable, fair, responsive and always presents the different type of options before giving us his recommendation. Another positive thing to mention, is that Tom has told me that Van Go Rooter is a great company to work for and that they take care of their employees - this is great to hear and very important to me!
I totally trust Tom and we will continue using him for all our plumbing needs moving forward!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I requested a quote for my clogged garbage disposal yesterday afternoon and promptly received a call AND a quote for the work- $255 CHEAPER than I previous quote I'd gotten from another company.
They were able to come by today, which was great. Pavel called me 20 minutes prior to his arrival (which I had requested as I planned to have the work done on my lunch break), and arrived at the beginning of the time slot we'd scheduled. He was extremely efficient and explained what was wrong/how to prevent it in the future. And he took credit card!! They made my day!

We needed a faucet installed in an existing sink. Also the garbage disposal, which the company advised us to replace. This was done efficiently. Also our new cooktop had to be connected to the existing gas line. all was done correctly.
Communication was excellent and the tech showed up on time.
My only concern is that the fee seemed high. We were charged $850 for these two projects which took under two hours. I didn't get competing quotes so I can't be sure. Maybe plumbers make $400 an hour now but I doubt it.

Best decision ever, hiring this crew to replace a couple ancient cast iron boilers. He worked very intelligently to tie in a modern mod/con boiler with my gorgeous old radiators. Everything is working perfectly. Very happy. I made a lengthy search of boiler/radiant companies, and they were all scared to take on my project, or they were overpriced, or they didn't seem very knowledgeable or patient. Innovative scored on each of those. Highest recommendation!

This is a mixed review. I had been a customer of HC since 2000 when I bought my home. The family who'd owned the home since they bought it new in 1927 were retired plumbers and used HC. What could be better? They served my home well over the years (toilet replacement, gas line installations for dryer & oven, old heating furnace repair, leaky kitchen, installation of central heating). Only one mistake was forgetting to put the furnace filter in my central heating unit which caused the motor to blow out-luckily for HC it was under warranty so Carrier had to pay, not HC. That was a shocker and a minus. This week's replacement of a tankless water heater doesn't compare. The man who did this installation said he'd cleaned up and would I like to pay now. I almost did. Thank goodness I didn't. There was a weird smell coming from the hot water when I turned it on. I went down to the crawlspace to look. The piping looked like a marble drop or roller coaster set up. There was trash, as in old & newly cut pipes, a pile of screws, and other junk. A pipe was left leaking. The crawlspace door was left wide open and light left on. I called HC to let them know this was unacceptable and to please send a new person over to fix this mess. I also asked that the guy who did the work not come back. I was told that the co-owner would come to my house at 8 to personally meet with me. He did not arrive until 8:30 and the man who did the work was there and worked on the unit to fix the mess! When I tried to explain all the issues that I saw, the co-owner dismissed them with A lot of little things. Yes, a lot of little things that for $3000 shouldn't be there. The young man who tried to do the work was equally dismissive, Mistakes were made, and said there was no pipe leaking. The day of the installation, he had turned off the water to stop the pipe from leaking. That day I had to go down to the crawlspace and use the water from the bucket where the leak was to rinse the soap off my hands after using the bathroom. (He'd forgotten to tell me he'd turned the water off again.) So no, buddy, I am not lying about the pipe. There was a lovely man, Crispin, who listened to me and was very professional. He made the unit installation look like I had paid a real plumber to do it. Thank you, Crispin! However, the back steps and patio were left with greasy spots as if someone had been doing oil changes back there. Seriously? So I had to call again to complain. I was told they would work on getting it cleaned up and then asked could they get payment. Later that day, someone called about how I would like to pay. How about doing the work professionally and completely? That was the third strike. HC you've lost my business. And the $200 you took off my bill doesn't really do anything for me. I hope we both can learn from this-me-get bids and not be so trusting- and you-do clean, professional work the first time, politely listen to your customers, and hassle people for money after the work is done.

Weird that Margaret says they did no work. They were sure in my house for hours and hours and hours and hours. Yes they were. No they didn't charge ME for it, they were supposed to charge the insurance company. Bunch of whackadoodlies!

We have American Home Shield and I chose this company from the list they gave me, because of previous reviews. Although the technician was very kind and respectful, I could barely communicate with him which caused problems later.
As he was repairing the shower drain, I noticed that the drain he purchased seemed to look like it wasn't fitting correctly. I tried to communicate this with him, and explain to him that I was not happy with the way it looked or fit.
Rather than try to explain to me that it was the correct parts, or try to help me feel secure in the job that was being done, he called his manager, spoke to the manager for a minute, and then the manager got on the phone with us.
At this point when the manager heard my concerns, he became very defensive and combative. He basically treated me as though I should shut up and let them finish the job. When I explained I was upset and didn't feel good about the part, rather than trying to explain or make me secure in the job, he argued more with me and told me they had to finish it. I said I didn't want them to finish something that I didn't feel was right, and then he threatened me. He said if his technician left now, they would never come back and never service us again. Either I allow them to continue the job even though I was uncomfortable, or they would leave, to never return.
This reaction even made me feel more insecure about the work that was being done. I was so upset! So with no faith in the company, a manager that was arguing with me and threatening me, and a technician who would not communicate with me, I felt no other choice but to ask them to leave.
I would highly suggest you never hire this company for any work that needs to be done. They have no respect or dignity for the client.

Gotelli is now my choice for any plumbing needs. Around two years ago we had an emergency valve failure at the street. Water was shooting 15 feet high. The problem was determined to be our responsibility. Gottelli got on it and did a quality job for us. THE REASON I am writing this, is because two years later I discovered a small, but steady leak. Called them, they came out, fixed it at no charge. They could have charged me, as it was two years later. I would have accepted that these days...as normal. Instead, I feel that Gotelli still operates with old school integrity and priority on customer service. Quality and service. Thanks!
