I found Mr. Rooter on my Nextdoor site. Lance came over to do three different jobs within in a few months period. First, he put in new parts and repaired two toilets. When one of the connections in one of the toilets started leaking about a month later, he came back to fix it right away with no additional charge. The second job was installing a new gas water heater. Our old heater had been going out quite often for a few years and it's great to now have this taken care of. On this visit, we had him test our water pressure, and he discovered it was very high and not to code. We had him come back about a month later to install a pressure reducing valve and a thermal expansion tank. He came back a few days later as the kitchen sink now had too little pressure and fixed this quickly.
Now, the water pressure throughout the house and irrigation system is working great. Lance even attached a new shower head for my son's shower at no additional cost. The customer service was always great and they were able to schedule Lance within a few days of calling. He was very knowledgeable and had a nice personality. I also liked having the same person come for each job. They are not inexpensive, but do quality work and I would certainly call them again with any plumbing concerns.

I needed my water heater pilot to be replaced. Was told by other plumbers I need to replace the entire pilot unit, which would have cost me over $300.00. I called Tromborg and they knew how to replace the pilot without replacing the entire unit. Saved me over $150!
I've used Tromborg for 20 years and always receive great service.

This is definitely a plumber I would call again. On time, respectful, thorough, and did an excellent job cleaning up. Of course I won't tell my wife I called a plumber, I'll tell her I did it myself!

Luis did a great job replacing our Sewer Lateral pipe and getting it certified. He was fast, efficient and flexible with our schedule. His pricing is fair and he takes pride in his work. I look forward to having Luis continue to work on more plumbing for us as we renovate our home.

Steve and his crew helped me out in a pinch and delivered A+ results in record time. I called him one evening, he asked me to send him pics of the damage, he came out the next morning and provided me with a quote and that evening his team showed up and took care of the problem. Highly recommended based on my recent experience!

Edgar did another great job on my home. He came out on Memorial Day to help install a dryer venter off our electric dryer as well as fix a few plumbing fixtures. He cleaned up and made sure our house was cleaner than when he arrived. I would highly recommend Edgar and Pipe Arts for any plumbing needs.

We recently purchased an older house, and called on Oakland Rooter and Plumbing to help us figure out the hot water situation. Oakland Rooter responded to our request for an estimate quickly, and arrived on time. Ignacio gave us a very competitive estimate for a tankless water heater, and the work was done in a professional and timely manner. Although there was a problem with the heater control initially, his team came back and made it right by actually installing a better control.
Given that older homes inevitably have various problems, we will be calling on Oakland Rooter for future plumbing needs.

Needed a plumber on Sunday to fix leak from sink. Chose Plumbing Guys because they offered a free estimate and worked on SUNDAYS.
Work was well done within an hour.
No free estimate...but a $350 bill...no new parts.
]This done to an elderly couple.
(As I looked at other reviews, I now see that the negative ones are about not giving the estimates they offer, but charging high prices instead.)
When I emailed the company on their site, I received no response of any kind.
Perhaps someone at the company reads YELP! And will respond.

Unfortunately, I spent $1000 on 2 different fixes Israel tried to address some noisy pipe issue related to a tankless water heater. Neither worked. I don't really think he has expertise to do repairs/maintenance on this type of heater and I wish he had told me that before I was out $1000. He should have known that the heater needed not only to be flushed (which he did) but to also have the burners and regulator cleaned. I finally got Nahman over to do it properly. Nice guy but I am pretty upset at all the $ I wasted.

We live in an old building in the outer Sunset and experienced a back up of our pipes. We found Expert Plumbing Solutions (EPS) who responded to our call immediately and came to our rescue. They did a great job at a great price. We had an additional problem with the building and EPS came and resolved that for us the same day, working well into the evening. I recommend EPS to anyone for their plumbing needs. They provide timely, affordable and expert service with guaranteed work!
THanks EPS.

Very Professional. I found several plumbers on yelp and Justin was the one who returned my call promptly. He communicated clearly about when he could come by to fix a leaky kitchen sink. He showed up on time, and very efficiently diagnosed and fixed the problem. He pointed out shortcomings in the previous plumbing work, but just to educate - he did not try to 'upsell' services and replace what others had done sub-optimally. He was able to fix the leak without requiring additional parts. Very fair pricing, very reliable. I won't have to search yelp again for a plumber - now I know who to call! Definitely recommend.

I initially selected JJ Rooter based on their amazing rating. They were very responsive and gave my a very competitive quote for my sewer lateral. They were very professional and respectful of my house which I greatly appreciated. The work was done fast and well. I highly recommend using their service.

I will begin by saying that there is nothing better in winter than radiant heat, I mean the whole house is warm to the touch and no dry air blowing on you. So when my radiant heat boiler died last winter, we were very sad, so this summer I had three companies bid on the work to replace it. All three bids were competitive, but Innovative seemed to be the most complete, a great price, and we just liked Ramnar in general. He came right on time when scheduled and quickly and efficiently installed a new boiler. Now as it turns out, there was a leak in one of the pipes in the floor, so he recommended a specialist to find it. The specialist came out and put an 'X' on the floor like a treasure map. Ramnar came out the next Monday and jack-hammered to find and replace the leaky section of pipe. Again, he was fast, efficient, clean, and the fix worked perfectly. He patiently had me test the system and now it works as it should. I am waiting for winter to start and set it for 70 degrees and forget it until next spring. I cannot say enough good things about Innovative, as they are friendly when you call, fast to respond, and their work is really excellent. On a side note, they even installed a few sink fixtures in my bathroom and kitchen I had been meaning to do, and at a great price. For anything related to radiant heating, this should be your first and last call.

This was the worst plumber we ever hired. We first called them to replace our water heater. We suffered cold water three days after the installation while waiting for someone to come out again to correct the mistakes made by the initial installer.
We later (and foolishly) used them again to fix a broken flow restrictor valve. They sent the same guy who screwed up all water heater, and he went 2 for 2, this time installing the flow restrictor backwards. He obviously didn't even try a simple 1 minute test that would have shown the problem.
We would NEVER use Harry Clark plumbing again!!!!

My water heater went out and I was looking for quotes to replace it asap. I received a free quote for $1400 for a Rheem water heater with a 9 year warranty ($650) from Home Depot. I decided to get another quote from a local plumber, and hopefully I could use them to support a local business. They charged a $49 fee for them to do a estimate which I was ok paying. I was shocked that the quoted me $2800 for a cheaper water heater that offered a 6 year warranty. The water heater value is approximately $400 from Home Depot. So basically they are charging $800 a hour (3 hours max x $800 per hour) to change out a water heater. I would definitely recommend using Home Depot for a reasonable price quote. I ended up using another local company and it took about 2 1/2 hours for the removal and install.

I've had good experiences in the past, but i find their new pricing structure to be a rip off. I would say that I liked the technician Steve, who was very professional, straightforward, reasonable, and nice. The problem is the new company policy. It doesn't apply the $89 estimate/service fee to the cost of repairs, be advised. I'm pretty sure i was told the opposite, but when calling the office i was told that's impossible. In my experience, this fee is usually applied to the cost of repair. (The office first disputed this is typical practical then later said she does not know what typical practice is). $346 to stop a bathtub faucet from leaking seems ridiculous (this only involved replacing a small valve internal to the faucet). When i asked for a breakdown of labor cost vs. material cost, i couldn't get a straight answer. That's what the book says. I don't set the rates for each task. Skipped that, but got the essentials done. To clear two drains, which took about 30 minutes, it cost me $289. Overpriced. And in my opinion lack of clear communication about estimate/service fee. I'll be looking elsewhere from now on.
