Best Plumbing Repair in San Francisco CA

Yesterday I had a consultation with BeastBay Plumbing. The plumber was very prompt. He was able to resolve the problem with my tankless water heater within 30 minutes. And I wasn't even charged . BeastBay is the best. I definitely recommend them and will use them again if I have any other plumbing issues.

It gets five stars because the specific plumber I've worked with several times, Robert, is just over the top fantastic. As I've said on other reviews (okay, I only have one, but I just started!), I really, really like excellent customer service. And Robert is just stellar.

Whether their prices are higher or not, I can't say. Possibly. And I imagine that it is possible to get the work done for less. If you have one-off issues, and it isn't an emergency, I think looking around is best. But I have an old home, and know I'm going to have several issues over time, so I wanted to build a professional relationship with someone reliable enough to do solid work and be the point person, but work in an organization large enough that if he wasn't available, I could still get work done quickly. (That's what makes some smaller/one person businesses who are fabulous not work for me).

But If Robert wasn't there, I probably would look around for estimates every time I had a plumbing job. In fact, I'd probably give them 3-4 stars, probably due to price. But as I've said before (yes, that one other review), I really want to plumber who I trust will do a good job, will candidly discuss me their recommendations, and not give me static if I go with a different option. I've had sump pump, water pipe, shower head and kitchen sink issues, and Robert has consistently been knowledgeable about what's going on and able to fix it. Over time I've sort of built a professional relationship with him, and feel like he knows my house's issues (like a great mechanic), so this works for me.

We were taking care of a flat in San Francisco for a friend, and the toilet was leaking. Two doors down, Tromborg Royal Plumbing were doing a job, and I walked over and asked if they could take a look when they were done. Instead, they followed me back to the flat and spent half an hour diagnosing and repairing the problem. I am still flabbergasted at the level of customer service. Very professional, and the nicest people I have met in SF!

Ever flush something down the toilet that you didn't intend to? I called these folks feeling pretty stupid, but got a same day appointment from the nice lady on the phone (Don't flush it again, she advised) and a visit later that afternoon from Alex. He took my mishap in stride, made me feel better about the problem and not only recovered the... uh, treasure, but re-set and re-caulked the toilet for better future use. Super service from a real nice guy who knew what he was doing and did it fast. Advanced Plumbing and Drain will be my go-to plumber from now on.

Joven was very responsive when I called.  I needed him to fix two issues in both our bathrooms.  When he left initially there was still an issue with one of the toilets that we didn't notice right away.  I called him 10-15 minutes later and he came back immediately and worked on the problem until it was fixed.  The prices are reasonable and he is a very nice guy.

I had an urgent plumbing issue, at my residence. Made one phone call to Garcia plumbing, The gentleman's name was Greg Garcia's, he took care of the problem with ease. He gave me a detail of what's happening and what need to be taken care of. I did not hesitate and I let him do the rest. I will call him as my first choice as a plumber, with no hesitation. Thank you,  Gregg  for the wonderful work.

I've been stressing trying to find a good reliable plumber.
Long story short, my go to plumber who I usually hire to do minor things said my sewer lateral may be broken or cracked because they had to unclog the clean out and their drain snake got stuck. They recommend me find another plumber to get it fixed asap since he does not do sewer replacements. My plumber gave me a company name/info he knows that could do it and I was a bit relieved but... Unfortunately the recommended business has poor communication and I felt left in the dark. I was losing hope until I reached out to Luis at Excalibur. This is also why you should always get multiple quotes.

There was some minor yelp communication hiccup but Luis was able to follow up with an appointment. Luis even communicated with me after hours! Communication is key with a lot of business and if they have that, it is 5 stars in my book.

After scheduling an appointment for an estimate, Felix came out and ran a camera down the clean out. They found three areas that needed repair and my heart sank! The other businesses I reached out to didn't even bother to schedule an appointment around the time I am available so we can talk about options and what we should do. I reached out to Luis after Felix did the inspection and Luis sent me the proposal the next day highlighting what needs to be done and the cost. I paid what was quoted as well.

They are very honest about the options and they also will take care of the permits with the city so you don't have to worry about anything else. I asked if they could start the project on a certain day which they were very accommodating.

Felix came back out a week later to mark the lines and let me know their plans. The communication is amazing!

The day of the project, Luis and his team started around 8AM and they completed by 5PM. The city inspector came out to do the inspection before they completed the job. Once everything was inspected, they finished off by pouring the concrete. The current clean out I had is no longer usable and they installed a new clean out at near the bathroom. They noted that I wouldn't really need to worry about any more clogs because the entire sewer line is replaced. Which is honestly amazing.

I do recommend someone being home when they do the projects. Only downside is that you cannot use any plumbing while they work on the sewer like faucet, toilet, shower, etc... They needed access to some electrical and access to areas that are fenced/gated off.

If I have big plumbing jobs in the future, I would definitely use Excalibur again. Quick responses and very competitive pricing.

WELL PRICED! he was extremely professional. I needed help with a tv wall mount and he brought his own toggle bolts in case my studs were not in line with what I would like.

I have a background with housework and could tell immediately that he was experienced and knew what he was doing.

This is the guy you want for your tv mount install!!

The price was extremely fair and i tipped extra as I felt the quality of the work went above and beyond. He also brought his own bags to catch drilldust and booties for his shoes.

The best.  Very efficient.  Carl came out to investigate a nagging problem with my mom's toilet.  He was the only one who figured it out and fixed the problem!  Steve is the top guy there and he is the best!  You will not be disappointed!

Called 1am with a clogged main line. Saul and team arrived at 8am. Fixed by 8:30am. Instead of snaking it, I did the jet flush 3000psi for $595.

Fixed. Fast. Super courteous. I have added them to my plumbing book for future fixes.

Wow! I am so impressed and would recommend this company in a heartbeat. I thought I had a drainage problem that turned out to be an appliance issue and not a plumbing issue, but Edgar took the time to make sure nothing was wrong and then didn't even charge me!! Not to mention I priced estimates against other highly-ranked places on Yelp and his estimate was the lowest. I will gladly call back next time I have an (actual) plumbing problem.

Do yourself a favor: Zayah is the real deal. Totally skilled, Honest, fair pricing!! Found solution, fixed plumbing, saved me time and $$$. Adept. Win-win.

The guys at Harry Clark are very professional!

When it comes to replacing old sewer laterals they clearly know what they are doing.

They used the pipe bursting trenchless sewer replacement technique.  They stuck to their original schedule, even when the original crew called in sick.  They left our front lawn just like it had been before and the driveway cleaner than it has been in years.  Their pricing was competitive.

Jac was great.  She came out right away.  Access my issue and fixed it in less than 10 minutes.  She even took a bit of time to explain the issue to me so I could fix it myself in the future.  She charged me a very reasonable rate for the time she spent.  I'd definitely recommend her to my friends.

They helped me with some leaking valves. Arrived the day after I called, finished the work quickly and didn't overcharge. I look forward with working with them again when the next inevitable plumbing disaster takes place.

Loved working with Ben. He was very professional and offered great advice / help. He completed the tasks doing quality work in a short time. We have a small baby and he was very respectful in staying quiet while working. I highly recommend Ben and will hire him again in the future for any task my home needs!

These guys take customer service to a whole new level -- and not just for plumbers. They are pleasant, professional, courteous, and excellent at what they do. They're also incredibly responsive! Could not recommend them more.

This is a busy time of year and I had a fairly basic set of tasks that a handy person could probably do themselves.  I'm not handy.  

My cousin who is a real estate agent recommended them and they responded asking for us to send photos of the issues with a description of the problems.

An appointment was scheduled for two days later with a timeframe of arrival from 1-3.  They called around 1:30 to say they'd be arriving around 2.

Ivan showed up wearing a mask and booties.  He cleared three leaky faucets, unclogged a low flow faucet and fixed a shower that had an internal pipe leak all within 90 minutes.

Pay was all digital via credit card.

Our bathtub was draining very slowly, and it was only getting worse despite trying all the DIY remedies we could find on the web. We contacted Ygnacio on a Friday evening, and he was ready to send someone out the next morning. Eddie came out in the afternoon, wore a mask, gloves, and shoe covers for COVID-19 precautions, and had everything cleared up in about 20 minutes. It was worth the $99, couldn't ask for any better service.

Company did an excellent job. After getting several quotes no company even came close price wise. They also included all parts of the project and did not have extra charges or add-ons (like driveway repair where they needed to add the overflow).
