I emailed Berkeley Home repair and got a same day response. The work was scheduled for two days out and completed professionally and efficiently. This is a very trustworthy and reliable company, reasonably priced too. Pricing also feels very straightforward. They installed a bathroom light to my cottage, fixed the electrical supply to my cottage (which was completely out) and moved/installed an outside light as well as replaced some faulty outlets. Damon was in constant contact with me about the work because I could not be home to even show them what needed to be done; I described it all over the phone and text and he kept in touch with updates and questions throughout the day.

I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We live in an old home in San Leandro and found a couple of very poorly connected bathroom sewer drains while doing some trenching -- likely the result of an equally poor plumbing repair in the past.  I checked Yelp and found Gladiator's great reviews, and within 45 minutes Oswaldo and Sesar were at my home working.  A third Gladiator employee drove a couple of unusual parts over, and the job was complete in barely over an hour.  If someone uncovers this repair in 25 years I'm convinced it'll still be in great shape.  Thanks for the excellent response time and work!  I enthusiastically recommend Gladiator.

Tried for over a month to schedule a walk thru and get an estimate. I emailed/called and he responded with a text. Then I emailed as requested and he said that he would call back. He never returned my call. I texted to follow up - no response. I called again and he said to email the plans again and then call him on Tuesday after he had time to review our plans. Called today and he said that he would call back in 20 mins to review the job. He never called back. Terrible customer service. This is a fairly big project. Incredibly unprofessional!

I've worked with Paul on a number of projects and always found him to be both knowledgeable and professional.  When I had a Victorian, seemed like there was always something wrong with the old fixtures.  Luckily Paul and his team have lots of experience with those think.

We have used Justin's services for many years now, including some pipes issues and installing (emergently!) and maintaining our tankless water heater. Justin is very easygoing, nice, and professional. I feel that he is honest, which is very important  and sadly not always the experience with other service businesses. He really knows what he is doing and his prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend him!

The five stars are for Mo, the plumber who took about two minutes to de-clog a toilet with which I'd been doing battle (fruitlessly) for three hours.  I'd been petrified that the problem was much bigger and would prove to be much more expensive than I was able to pay.  Mo was an angel.

As for Arch Plumbing itself, I've got misgivings about how the company goes about assessing charges for jobs, and I don't know how much of the money it collects goes to its employees.  I'd like to think that Mo is appropriately well compensated for his work, but I'm not sure of that.

Ted and team are great. They have done a variety of projects for us from a full kitchen remodel, tiling the basement, insulation and drywall, electrical and painting. He is very knowledgeable, responsive and does great work. I highly recommend him.

Having your roof replaced is not something any of us likely rush into.  It's something most of us know very little about other that it works or it leaks and it can be costly.  So when it was time to replace the roof on our Victorian home in SF I did the web / yelp search and one company jumped out as the one to talk to ... Eco Smart Roofer ... after interviewing several companies I confidently decided on Eco Smart Roofer.  The price was pretty much in line with what i expected to pay ... what I got for the price was more than I expected.  Great job, Hard workers, Daily clean up.  This is a company that understands the value of word of mouth ... If anyone asks for suggests on who to call I will always mention Eco Smart.

What kind I say.....this company is awesome!!!  I would give them 10 starts if I could.  Used them in the past for a minor plumbing problem.  Then had them back months later to replace my water heater before it died since it was old.  Just had them back (was so happy to know they were still in business) to take care of my kitchen and bathroom facets.  They are honest, reliable and have excellent customer service and work ethics.  You won't be disappointed.  Thank you Michael & Shaun!
