Beast Bay responded to my Yelp inquiry within minutes and scheduled a free estimate for the next day.  The quote they gave was very reasonable and I did not even bother with a second quote. Did a great job fixing a crossover issue and installing new fixtures for a shower.  Professional, friendly and prompt.  So glad to find a great plumber.

We just had our very old sewer line replaced by Felix and the crew. With the drought we've had the ground was hard as a rock which made their work even tougher. What troopers they were. The work was done in a professional manner, the crew was friendly.  The pricing was good and the work was completed timely. We highly recommend Excalibur.

In our time of turmoil Harry Clark Plumbing was absolutely a joy to work with. In the midst of the past few heat waves our AC unit stopped working all together. They made two trips to our home the first time to change out a capacitor and the second time to install a kit that would reduce the initial draw on the 30 Amp circuit.

They were amazingly professional, prompt and most importantly as often happens with AC repairs they did not immediately try to upsell expensive equipment that may or may not be needed

My mother-in-law lives in the Richmond District, and her water heater stopped working on Sunday. The pilot light would not stay lit. I called Chung Wah first thing on Monday morning. They replaced the thermocouple and had it fixed by noon. Great service and reasonably priced.

Edgar did extensive work for us last year on a re-modeling project including:
- power vented hot water heater install
- all new plumbing to kitchen
- all new plumbing to new laundry room and new bathroom
- new sewer lines to replace and add to the old
- new gas lines to appliances and heaters
- a hydronic heating unit

He was professional, yet friendly and personable, flexible with changes of plans, consistently on target with estimates of time and cost, reasonably priced for the impressive quality of work done, and quick to return calls or emails.  And somehow, despite doing lots of 'dirty work' he somehow stayed meticulously clean and almost pressed through it all.

Several times when we had the city in for non-plumbing inspections (framing, insulation, electrical, whatever) they took note of the plumbing and said 'wow, thats nice plumbing work'. All of his work passed muster on the first inspection.

Along the way he had time to get to know the kids, philosophize about life, fix some other odds and ends on the side, swap travel stories, and even offer advice and the use of some of his tools on some other projects I was working on when he was there.  

Unless he retires, I will never call another plumber again.

Zayah was on time, knowledgeable, asked enough questions to make sure we were on the same page, but was unobtrusive and efficient. He diagnosed Missi ng parts we needed, took a quick trip to the store in my behalf, and replaced our disposal/repaired some broken sink plumbing quickly and cleanly. Strong recommend!

We had a brand new range installed and our gasket was not in the right place. Oleg came to the rescue and resolved my huge gap behind the wall. Price was very reasonable too and we're content! No more gaps!

Found the water heater leaking on a Sunday morning.  Called around 9:30 or 10 am, they were here within an hour as promised, and Dustin was done with the replacement and cleaned up by around 12:30 pm.  I think the price was fair based on one other quote, maybe I could have done a little better if I had time to shop around and it wasn't a Sunday.  But other than paying them, it couldn't have been more painless.  These guys have tons of good reviews on Yelp, that's why I called them first, and they deserve 5 stars.

Called for service for our clogged toilet and Donte showed up with within an hour.  Issue resolved within 15 mins.  No fuss and reasonable price unlike other plumbing company.  Will definitely use Alansi again in the future.

Oakland Rooter - and Fernando - are the best. Super helpful, knowledgeable and courteous - and affordable. I would call them again in a heartbeat with any plumbing problem.

I used Heise to update my plumbing when I purchased my home 6 years ago. Dave was really great and I was satisfied by the quality of work he did. I recently called to have my bathroom serviced. I wanted the seal on my toilet redone and the hardware on the sink updated. While the receptionist informed me they don't do resealing of toilets unless they themselves installed the toilet, the worker who did work on my sink this was untrue but he could only do the sink during his visit. While I can live with that what I cannot live with is that is the $273 I was charged for 50 minutes of work. Be aware they charge $180/hr. I can live with that. Gps on the truck tracks workers whereabouts so clients are charged based upon that. The man was in my house for 50 minutes. I was planning to use them on another plumbing project but I'm going to use someone else.

We had backup issues with a toilet line that had been cleared by another company for over $800.  Within a week the issue returned and the other local company's only proposal for resolution was $6,200 in pipe repairs and they said it was impossible to clear the line.   We called around and found F&A.  They came right out and found a less evasive way to clear line (without ripping off the toilet which the other company did twice).  Within an hour the line was cleared again.  They proposed if it continued they could do a pipe correction for $1,300 and one that made sense and fit the problem.  We opted for that.   They sent out a crew and completed the work quickly and stayed on budget.  So relieved we found them.  We try to support local businesses.    Give them a call.  I'm glad I did.
