Excellent service. We called Anchor plumbing for a shut off valve leak in our upstairs bathroom. We decided to use them after viewing yelp, and hearing recommendations from our neighbors. Paul came out the next day early, and fixed the issue quickly. His price was half of what we were quoted by some of the other plumbers in the area. We will use them again.

Henry is amazing! He responded within an hour to my request for a garbage disposal installation, quoted a fair price and set an appointment with me the next day. He communicated updates on timing via text and arrived on the earlier side of the service time window (much appreciated). Payment and checkout was easy as well. Having recently purchased a home in SA, I was given Blue Lion's contact information by a renovator working next door to my Sister's home.  My primary concern was addressing those plumbing issues which had been documented in the inspection report I had done prior to house purchase.  Heather scheduled an appointment for an estimate shortly after my call.  Martin arrived, reviewed the inspection report and then confirmed required work by checking out the crawl space himself.  I also mentioned to him that I wanted to replace both toilets with new.  He quoted a price for the work and scheduled me for the following week.  He arrived on time, quickly addressed and repaired the crawl space issues and, in so doing, identified additional problems which the inspector had not because the inspector did not access the crawl space under the deck adjacent to the house.  The leak from the kitchen drain/main bath sink drain was leaking badly.  Martin opened the wall under the kitchen sink to discover some nasty do-it-yourself mess which included multiple plastic bags! Martin replaced that mess with new pipe.  He then pulled the first toilet to begin replacement with the new, only to discover serious issues with the lead drainage line.  I saw it.  It was ugly.  He told me what would be required to do the job correctly, but he did not have the necessary parts and would need to schedule another appointment.  What he charged for the work completed that day was LESS than his original quote even though the kitchen sink issue had NOT been part of the inspection report!  To make a long story somewhat shorter, when he returned a couple days later as promised, both toilets had problems which required work WAY beyond pulling and replacing.  I told him I wanted the work done right, not quick.  

It took much longer than anticipated to complete the replacement of the two toilets, but I have the satisfaction of knowing that the work was done correctly.  And that is precisely what makes Martin and Blue Lion Plumbing a 5 star business:  the work was completed on time, professionally and courteously and I don't have to worry about plumbing problems going forward.  In a previous life I had gutted and renovated three homes and, based on that experience, Blue Lion was INCREDIBLY reasonably priced.  Would I recommend?  Well, this week Martin completed a number of projects at my Sister's house and she has shared his name on a neighborhood review site.  YES!  Thank you Martin, William and Heather!

Brad did a great job for us repairing a shower fixture. He showed up when scheduled, the work completed was cleanly and efficiently. We'll work worth him again when there is need. From the one experience I'd highly recommend him.

PlumbSmart was able to fix the crack pipe problem that happened due to the freezing temperatures. My outdoor pipe cracked due to the freezing temperatures. I talked with Cory and explained the problem. A technician was dispatched to my home within 2 hours. Roger was courteous and corrected the problem promptly. I will definitely use PlumbSmart for any further plumbing issues or changes in the future.

Late on a Sunday even, we discovered our kitchen faucet was leaking and dripping into the cabinet beneath.  We shut down the water to the sink and we're prepared to wait until later in the week to have a functioning kitchen sink.  After all, it was Sunday, followed by a holiday, which meant surely no one would be able to help us until later in the week, right?

Absolutely wrong!  I sent a message via the Yelp app to BG Plumbing late, LATE Sunday night and had a response from the owner, Tsanko, early Monday morning.  After describing the problem to him, and receiving valuable recommendations as to how to proceed with fixing the problem, he promised to be over at noon.  He arrived promptly and ready to get started.  He provided excellent feedback to us as he completed the repair and didn't mind at all discussing future upgrades, be they real or hypothetical; Installing a tankless hot water system or the possibility of running a beer tap to an unused hole on the kitchen sink!  (The latter just might happen if we can get the Mrs. on board)

The job was finished quickly, cleanly, and without error.  BG Plumbing will be my company of choice for years to come!  Thank you for an honest quote and quality work!

I was charged $360 for something that the owner knew was worthless, but said nothing. He knew I wanted a new water cut off valve at the back of the house, because of a under kitchen sink leak that he also repaired. When I found that water cut off didn't work , he simply said oh that won't cut off water in the house. It had before and the handle was not good and frozen in place . He told me right away he could fix it and make it better. I also told him I would not spend so much money on that but having it handy to turn off water if I had another plumbing leak . He knew but now denied, but taking advantage of the elderly is a sin.  And certainly no way to gain repeat customers. ...

Alamo Water Softener finally got in contact with us a little bit over a month ago, and they sent out a team the same day. The team fixed the system on the spot and told us we could call them anytime should we have issues again. But after testing the new system for a month, everything works just fine. Prices arent bad, he finished in a timely manner,  and he even gave me info to help in the future. I'm so glad that I called them and they're local. They were great.

I don't tend to go out of my way to write a review but I felt like I needed to because Andrew did a great job with the repairs to our faucets and shower head.  Not only did he fix 3 faucets and 1 shower head under an hour... he helped repair the cover to our tankless water heater that wasn't covering properly that I did not mention before.  When it became time to pay Andrew tacked on 10% off because he said the repairs were easy... I didn't think so but then again I am only good at replacing light bulbs.

These guys are awesome! Came over with no issues to inspect my system and pointed out CO2 problem & were able to fix the system same day! Great service, great customer service, and great value! Noel & Jesse were professional, quick, and clean. Answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable about the HVAC system and explained why there was a problem & what it took to fix it. We hired this company to use a camera to check a house we were in the process of purchasing to make sure there were no major plumbing issues prior to the purchase. The company found no issues but of course after we purchase the house we found out the hard way that there were major plumbing issues in the washer connection and to the master bathroom. We spent hundreds of dollars for their service and trusted this company to do their job but wasted our time and money.

My pressure control valve outside gave out after 11 years, cutting off the water supply to my house.  Called them based on Yelp reviews and past experience.  Was told 20 minute show time and arrived in 20 minutes.  Got to work right away after I accepted the quote.  Got a temporary repair going to restore my water supply because he didn't have the correct PCV in his vehicle.  Told me he'd be back in 48 hrs to install the correct one.  No biggie I told
I was happy with the emergency response time and his emergency repair and had the luxury of waiting for his return.  He was uniformed and polite.  I have used AAA Auger before several times to replace bibs and internal shower faucets and that sort of thing.  The only reason I didn't give him 5 stars was because he didn't have the part needed and has to return to complete the job.  They got me out of a big jam this time and will continue to use them in the future for my plumbing issues.

Returned my call for service approximately 10 days after I made the initial contact requesting help with an ac unit that suddenly and unexpectedly stopped working. Had no AC in the house and requested an advisor to quote for a complete system, condenser, coil, and furnace. Never heard back. In the meantime had 4 other contractors come out evaluate my concerns and offered solutions. Ultimately choose a professional company with a great parts AND Labor warranty. Couldn't be more happy with my new Carrier unit. Sorry John  Wayne maybe you have more business than you can handle or maybe I just fell through the cracks, but my family needed relief from the heat and humidity all through STAR testing and in my opinion you all failed miserably

During the snow storm of 2021 a water pipe busted in my home. I called Roto-Rooter on a Monday and pleasantly found they were scheduling me for the next day.  Winter conditions continued and no show.  I called them at the end of the day and was told all scheduled appointments were moved to next day.  Next day no show, no call.  It's Friday and still no show, but what disturbs me most is no notice this whole time.  I only heard from them once and that's bc I called them.  Luckily my neighbor called A.L. Plumbing and after talking to their plumber he squeezed me in right there on the spot and fixed my problem.  A.L. Plumbing, 210-269-6346.  

I can't speak to R-Rs quality of service, but I can speak to their disregard for customer notification, time, and general courtesy.
