I am new to the area and based on the recommendation of someone I trust I called Culpepper plumbing.
The woman who answered the call was extremely friendly and did state that they were very busy but she would call me back when she could find a crew that was able to head out to my place since I potentially have a mainline failure.
I got to call back around lunchtime and the crew showed up about 10 minutes after that. Gus and Caleb were extremely professional and diagnosed the problem I was having out by the meter to be something much simpler than the mainline water service. Turns out it was the main line for the sprinkler system. Unfortunately they do not work on sprinkler systems but since they were here I asked if they had time to work on another project inside my home which involved 10 angle stop valve replacements and some installation of new fixtures. They contacted the office and we're given the go ahead and did a bang up job. Ran out of time and they will return to finish up. Really outstanding people to work with. I'm looking forward to meeting with the owner to discuss a possible solution for water softening. All in all I give them five stars. A pleasure to deal with. Quality work at a reasonable rate.

Mark was on time and checked out our hot water heater, providing information, possible life of water heater and an estimate to replace. Mark was honest, courteous and reasonably priced. We will be using Mark for any plumbing issues/projects.

Chris and the staff are the best! Timely service with the job done correctly the first time. Chris installed a new water heater for us last year and came back last week to flush it at no charge. He also flushed our other water heater free of charge. It is hard to find great service like this. Great service with great people.

Bertin and his crew came out to my house and installed an outdoor shower, outside hose connection, and helped repair an inside shower head that wasn't working properly.
I had also asked him to hook up my BBQ grill to natural gas and he explained that, even though HomeDepot had told me it could be hooked up and sold me the adapter kit to do so, that the gas grill really couldn't be converted from propane to natural gas. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed that Home Depot had given me bad info.
Thank you Bertin from keeping me from blowing up my house!
They did a great job!

I am very glad I contacted Evenflow this morning. Our upstairs ac unit went out around 5pm :( When I called, the person answering the phone was very polite, clear, and direct. He got all my information down quickly, and I had a appointment same day between 2-5pm.
I received texts and emails advising me that the technician was on the way! And he did arrive 30 min later like the text stated. Our tech arrived around 3:00pm, and had our AC fixed by 4:15pm! Which was great!!! I am VERY GLAD we found Evenflow!!!!

I honestly don't write many yelp reviews, but I can't say enough about the job that Patrick and the Accurate Leak and Line crew did for me and my family. Long story short, we had a 30 foot belly in our main line just under the house. This meant lots of digging. Not only was their estimate much cheaper than the other two I got, the work Patrick did on the back end to get things right with the new pipe and prevent having to do further digging toward the street was beyond clutch. Equal parts expertise and phenomenal customer service. If you have a similar job, make sure you get Patrick, and you'll be in the best possible hands. Jacklyn back at the office was also super helpful. Their services can't come any more highly recommended.

I want to thank Jacob, who saved me $$ and time, and also did wonderful things for my self confidence as a craftsman.
So, I am an aspiring handyman whose ambition at times outruns my ability.
I wanted to install a recirculating pump to save water, as it used to take a long time to get hot water at our master bathroom shower and sinks. I carefully followed all directions in the water heater owner's manual and the pump, and was able to eventually install the pump so it looks like in the pictures (albeit after many grunts, groans, lots of sweating, and mild cursing). It seems the older I get the less able I am to work under my sink!
Next, I went back to the water heater to turn it on. I again followed all the instructions on the owner's manual, but the pilot light wouldn't light. I tried it several times, and had give up hope of getting it lit without replacing parts. I even looked at videos on how to replace the igniter. Not too terribly difficult, but I've been there before. I'm superb at taking things apart, but not so good at putting them back together.
I finally decided I needed professional help, and looked on Yelp. Immediately, I got a response from Jacob, who talked me thru the procedure, verifying I had done everything right. It was tough, as we had a bad connection, and he was in the middle of a job. He offered to call me right back; while waiting, I went back to my heater, but kept the lights off so I could see the inside the igniter window. This time, I was able to see the spark, and even got the pilot to light briefly, though it shut off again. Right about then, Jacob got back to me, and helped me troubleshoot.
We went through the steps together, and this time the pilot stayed lit, and when I turned the thermostat on the heater, we got the big flame and whoosh, and not it's working just fine.
Thank you Jacob. You helped me repair my water heater from miles away, avoiding a trouble call from you (and $$), and avoided me trying to replace a part that was working just fine. In today's world, where so often people are less than honest, it's refreshing to find someone like you. Thank you.

We have been using Bolin Plumbing for years, and have always received outstanding and courteous service. We will continue to call Bolin for our plumbing needs and will also continue to refer friends to Bolin.

I've used this company in the past and kept their info on my rolodex. I only keep names of companies I liked for their service, value, etc. So they were the first people I called to have two silcocks replaced for the washer and dryer. I also needed a circuit breaker replaced which the company told me they could do, but the tech did not want to. Ultimately, the work was done to my satisfaction and the issue with the price was made right. I would not necessarily recommend that particular technician, but Lee tries to make things good with his customers and he did for me as well.

Medina Best Plumbing helped us out of difficult situation when we were selling our house last year. We were updating the bathroom fixtures but had much trouble installing them. Medina to the rescue! We were in a time crunch, and they came right away. We're so grateful. Their technicians were professional, knowledgeable and so nice. Here's a very belated thank you for your great service!

We needed to do a full repipe of the ground floor, and a friend recommended S&D. I'm so glad they did. Their bid was not the cheapest, but it was in the same ballpark as the others. The deciding factor for me was the demeanor and knowledge that Melvin showed on the initial visit to prepare the quote. Once the job started, his team of Nick and Lorenzo did a fantastic job - Nick kept me informed every step of the way and they were very thorough and clean in their work.
As a final touch, they came out on Friday before the big freeze to hand-fill the trench for the new water inlet. This combined with the great job Nick did on insulation, helped keep our pipes from busting.
S&D are definitely my go-to guys for any future plumbing needs.

After having 2 other plumbers tell me that my hot water heater needed to be replaced (one of them did so without even coming to look at it, just assumed that since it was 10 years old the problem would be solved by replacing it). When I called San Marcos Plumbing, I was frustrated and felt like these other plumbers were trying to take advantage of me and explained as much. I immediately trusted them as they explained that my frustration was completely warranted. The woman I was working with to schedule the appointment called my tenant and was actually able to talk him through the issue over the phone and saved everyone time and money while completely fixing the problem. As I suspected, and had explained to the other plumbers to no avail, it was a pilot light issue. San Marcos Plumbing was the only company who took the time to follow up and resolve the problem without scamming me out of hundreds of dollars to replace something that didn't need it. They even followed up with me after to let me know they had spoken with my tenant and between the two of them fixed the pilot light. Great customer service!

These folks are the best. Always courteous and always willing to follow up if needed. I ran my own service company for thirty years so I recognize excellent skills and customer service for what they are...rare

We had needed the inflow/outflow parts replaced in our garage toilet. My husband called about 8:30 and we had a plumber here at noon. Frank quickly installed the parts and had the toilet operational in about 14 minutes. He was efficient and friendly. I'll use them in the future.

I knew what I needed in replacing our sewer line, and the options I needed quoted. Matthew was easy to communicate with and he understood exactly what we needed. His quote was neither too expensive nor too low, but reasonable for all the options I provided. Matthew was a quality young man, and a good representative of the company.

Our well needed to be completely rewired, new pot, new pump, add new water tanks, etc. Kerrville Plumbing was one of three estimates we got. They were quite a bit higher, but absolutely worth it. You get what you pay for. They are extremely knowledgeable, and for our job they used the highest quality products, the work is warranted, and we know it was done correctly the first time. When we are ready to look at heat pumps or anything else related to plumbing, we will use Bill and his team.

Waste of money for him to come see how he could fix my plumbing and do nothing. Said he plugged a pipe but that was a lie.

Terrible customer service! I got stuck with them because my home warranty gave me their name. Took forever to get them scheduled in the first place because they never called me back. When the plumber finally did come out, he spent maybe 3-5 minutes and charged $115. The very next day the toilet wasn't working again, and I called them. I was told at this time (without coming back to check) that it was the toilets that needed to be replaced. I replaced both of them only to have the same problem again. At this point, I called to complain and have it rectified only to be yelled at. Anyway, I used a different company that sent two guys out who spent over twenty minutes and only charged $108. No more problems. Call Tuttle Plumbing out of Universal City and save yourself a lot of money and problems.
