As a property owner one of the most upsetting  sights is to look down into a sink and see it filled with dirty water because of a clogged drain.  Eric at Halverson Sewer Service is your salvation.  We have been using him for at least ten years and he has always come through for us.  He has a great sink side manner reassuring you that all will be well soon and the problem isn't all that is unusual or serious.  Just what you need to hear as you envision the possibility of major pipe replacement.  Eric is prompt, competent, courteous, and his fees are reasonable.  He also likes dogs which is a big plus in our household.  I highly recommend Halverson Sewer Service.

Not only were they able to come out right away, but the couple (Jackie & Bill?) were super fast, helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process. We had a clogged main line due to tree roots and they took the time to show me and plan for maintenance in the future. The price was unbeatable and their friendliness mixed with expertise was amazing!

They installed a new boiler and water heater (one of those heated off the boiler) and did an awesome job.  I had 3 bids and these guys are the only ones who did an analysis and who recommended a boiler quite a bit smaller than what they were replacing.  It was installed last fall and did an amazing job keeping the house warm over the winter, and it did better than the old one with lots more BTUs.  

Their price was middle of the pack but they sold me on their effort and working with me to get it done how I wanted it.  Very friendly and excellent work.

And we also love the new water heater.

Brian did some home warranty covered plumbing fixes related to water lines connected to my boiler.  Work was completed satisfactorily. No cost to me other than what I had to pay to the warranty company for a service call.

I have mixed feelings about Ike's, the gentleman we've had to our house twice was more than kind, professional, and explained everything that he was doing. However, he didn't really get to the route of our issue and when we notified them they were a less than professional with us.

My husband has replaced lots of toilet flappers, but we had a feisty flapper/toilet that wouldn't cooperate (plus a broken emergency shut-off valve). Looked on Yelp for a plumber and saw that Hessian Plumbing was recommended. I spoke with Mike -- he was friendly and had an opening that worked for us. Mike came by today and fixed the toilet in under 15 minutes. Total pro. Thanks, Mike!

Our 7 year-old modulating condensing boiler quit working during a period of frigid temperatures. We called 3 firms claiming expertise with the newer mod/con boilers like ours. Each dispatched a serviceman lacking the competency to diagnose and remediate whatever was wrong. Thankfully a couple of them refunded what they charged for a service call.

Metro Heating and Cooling is near our home and I stopped in to see if they could help. They dispatched Tim, their diagnostic tech, the next day. Tim spent over an hour methodically diagnosing what could be wrong and ultimately discovered the heat exchanger was bad and demonstrated how he knew that.

We decided to install a new conventional boiler and water heater. We solicited and evaluated bids from Metro, McQuillan Bros, and CenterPoint. CenterPoint could provide no firm installation date. McQuillan did a heat loss analysis to determine appropriate boiler sizing. Nice! We selected Metro for their price-point, products they proposed, and project approach.

Our experience with Metro was superb! The 4 techs that worked in our home were very competent, organized, neat, thorough, and keenly attentive to my expectations for replacing and adding isolation valves, gauge positioning, and explanation for how our cast iron baseboard radiation worked.

Unbeknownst to me, Michael went the extra mile and tested the bleeder valve in each radiator to ensure it was functioning properly. I was delighted when he mentioned replacing a couple that had vexed me for years! Bravo Michael! Woo hoo!
Metro Heating and Cooling did a great job for us and exceeded our expectations at every turn. Work was completed in one day by a top-notch, competent, highly-skilled boiler team. We plan on working with Metro for an air conditioning solution next Summer. Thanks Metro!

My parents who are in their 70's had contacted them because their air wasn't working. They came out and looked at it and then left my parents tried contacting them and no answer! So we had called a different company to come out and when they did they found out that they ripped the entire control panel off ( which they could get a lot of money for) and now my parents have to come up with thousands of dollars to replace what they had stolen!! I can promise you this will catch up to them and when it does there will be no more all climate control company!! BE CAREFUL AND DON'T LET ANY EMPLOYEE TOUCH ANYTHING OF YOURS! The BBB WILL NOT BACK THEM UP SO THAT TELLS YOU SOMETHING RIGHT THERE!!!!!

We recently called them to do a simple job - update the gas shut off valves on our water heaters (for a duplex rental property).  In order for him to do his job, he had to turn off the gas (main valve on the exterior of the property) going into the house. When the service plumber - Pedro Berrios - left, our water heater wasn't functioning and our gas furnace was off.  We had to manually turn our water heaters on ourselves and our gas furnace is now no longer functioning (as a result of it being off for several hours).  He informed me this was all a coincidence and it had nothing to do with him.  Unless you want to spend more money, do not call this company - all they do is cause more problems.

My heat pump was not working.  They came but did not fix the problem.  Yet, I still had to pay for the useless service.  

Avoid them at all costs.
