John and Paul are a great team and even course-corrected when a different carpenter messed up. And Mrs. Hovde was gracious when I lost the invoice! I hope we don't need their services again, but they'd be my first call if I did. Thanks, John!

This company is awesome!  In the past they have fixed my leaking kitchen faucet and my garbage disposal.  Today they fixed my faucet in my tub shower.  Sam was very knowledgeable and told me everything I needed to know about the repair.  He was efficient and fast!  They have helped me so many times and I would recommend this company to anyone!

Can't say enough good things about these guys!! Our general contractor, Corey, was SO responsive and easy to work with. He communicated every step of the way on an interior water damage insurance claim involving mold. He made sure if there would be any out-of-pocket costs, we would know about them. He handled all of the communication with our insurance adjuster at lighting speed! Start to finish, he had the project done in less than 2 weeks. The previous general contractor we'd been communicating with (different company) drug his feet for months after our insurance asked for a more detailed quote. Corey and his guys provided everything necessary immediately! He stopped over on a Friday and had the bid to insurance by Monday. Everyone that came out were timely, friendly and got the job done to our expectations!! Thank you!!!!

Fantastic company!  I originally scheduled a service call with a large company to repair a leaking drain line, but then read so many negative reviews about price gouging that I decided to keep looking.  I tend to prefer small, individually or family owned businesses (being a small business owner myself) and Mark's Plumbing seemed to fit the bill.

I called and spoke with Mark himself.  It sounded like they were pretty busy today and he suggested they could come early next week.  Because I was already at home I really wanted to get it taken care of that same day.  I told this to Mark and he said that he would do what he could.  He checked his plumbers' schedules and said he could get me in sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.  At 1:00 p.m. sharp a plumber arrived, quickly diagnosed the problem, told me how best to repair it, and what the cost would be.  He said he needed some materials to do the job right and would be right back.  Indeed he was and before long my leaking drain was repaired.

The repair may not have been all that complicated, but it was nevertheless above my comfort level.  That said, I'd trust Mark's for any plumbing repair, from the simple to the much more complex.  The unbelievable customer service has made me a customer for life.  I can only speak about my experience with this one plumber but he could not have been friendlier or more professional.  I would highly recommend Mark's Plumbing without any reservation whatsoever.

It is clear that John's word and hand shake are his bond! He eagerly took on the ugly job of jack hammering up my +50 year old laundry floor and rerouted the laundry drain and water supplies, adding a new floor drain and a recommended check valve. The work was high quality and went as planned. Clearly John's 40 years of experience paid off. At the end of the job we found that the floor drain line was partially plugged around 12 feet under the floor and John promptly came out and fixed that as well, all covered under the original estimate. As John said I told you that I would fix your problem. So if you are looking for a honest, prompt, trustworthy and knowledgeable plumber you should give Stillwater Plumbing a try.

I just moved to Shakopee in August and I called Monkey Wrench Plumbing on November 1, 2019 because my water softener had stopped working.  John and Nick stopped by within a couple hours.  By noon they had a new softener installed.
Since I am in a new house I had a few questions about the water lines  and they took the time to answer my questions.  
I would highly recommend Monkey Wrench Plumbing.

Steve Memorich is the owner / operator of this business.  I had him do all the plumbing when I overhauled the bathroom about 7 years ago.  Speed up to the present...  Last night the shower water faucet handle seized in the on position.  I didn't want to force anything for fear I would have to open up the wall to do a major repair.  I tried calling Steve this morning around 8:00 am but his voice mail was not accepting any messages.  I called a different shop and scheduled an appointment.  Steve called me back at 8:30, said he could be here at 10:00.  Then he called back again at 9:00 and said he could be here in 10 minutes!!!  Very nice man, had the correct part and swapped it out in 15 minutes!!!  Very cordial, very professional.  He told me I would have paid 250+ if I had used the other company!  He charged me $135 which included a $40 part.  If you are in the Twin Cities area, call Steve, he will not rip you off.  Like I said, he has done the major work of rehabbing my entire bathroom which included moving the toilet drain.  I always prefer to support the small businesses in town.  Thank you Steve!

Geno scheduled within 24 hours and was prompt. We needed to clear access to the sewer line in our front yard, so he came back within the hour and cleared out tree roots to the street. Kept original price quoted on phone.  

Fast forward two weeks: water started backing up in our sewer drain again whenever we did a load of laundry or took a long shower. Called Geno at 7:45 am and he was out by 8:45 am. He was able to recreate the issue and spent an hour cleaning out the full main line in the house. The issue got worse before it got better, but he stayed until the main floor drain in the basement cleared. He did not charge us for this second visit.

He only takes cash and check. He charged $179 for main line clean out and nothing for the second visit since the first job didn't hold. Most other companies would still charge you for both visits.

He told us to clear out the line every 16 months to prevent backup. He'll be on our regular rotation.

I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Hastings, MN and they immediately set up an appointment. Jon W. called me with an arrival time and was here as scheduled. He did a thorough diagnostic, explaining how he would repair my concerns as well as other things that I should look for. He wasn't pushy in this but spoke from his experience as a plumber. He did good work, reminded me of coupons available on their website and was a nice person whom I welcomed in my house. I will turn to Benjamin Franklin for future plumbing needs as well as their other areas for home repair.

Horrible service and recommendations by this plumber. Felt like we were scammed. Had another company come out and repaired the issue in an hour. Will never recommen this company to anyone

We are still going back and forth with deans due to not putting the shower accessories on correctly. In addition they were supposed to replace the parts with the same quality and the stuff they brought looks like it was used and bought from the dollar store. They refuse to give an itemized receipt for services and then say the new one we bought to replace the crap one they will potentially refund- when asked why they won't refund instead the one they brought over they won't answer that which leads one to believe that  they are charging about $400 for an $50 item. The one we bought was $200 so that  crap/ junk one they are obviously charging more money for. They refuse to state what the one cost. You can never directly get ahold of anyone to deal with the issue- I work often 7 days a week and from before they are open until after they are closed so a direct number for a quick call would be great- They refuse that as well. I will add more later when I get a chance- JUST STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

I had Uptown Plumbing, Heating & Cooling out to my house to fix a plumbing issue. and they did a fantastic job!
I had a pipe that kept bursting under my deck and had two other plumbing companies try to fix the shutoff valve.  However like clockwork it burst each winter.  
Uptown's plumber figured out what the root problem was, redid the pipes going out of my house and solved the problem.  
Since then, they've installed a humidifier on my furnace and replaced my water heater.  Every single time, they've been professional and punctual.  
I would HIGHLY recommend Uptown Plumbing, Heating & Cooling to anyone.

Only giving these guys a 1 because I attempted to call them at least 4-5 times, left a message, no one returned my phone calls nor did anyone ever answer when either myself or my home warranty company attempted to reach someone.  Which has now left me in a spot to wait even longer in order for my leaking pipe to be resolved.

I received a coupon for a water heater maintenance from Minnesota Plumbing & Heating.  We have a five year old water heater, which was working 100% fine, but I kept hearing from multiple places that this maintenance was necessary.  I called to book appointment, which I make for a time my wife is home, but I am not.  A plumber from HomeWorks Plumbing calls and says he's on his way 5 hours earlier than what the person I booked with on the phone indicated they would arrive (I was given a 3pm - 5pm window, plumber contacted us to say he was on his way before 10am).  Upon arrival he proceeds to hard upsell my wife (such as a soft water system for the poisonous water in St. Paul).  She declines, and then he suddenly finds a $350 repair needed for our water heater.  This is a complete and total racket, and I am furious.  I am posting this review on both companies pages, and will never in my life do business with either again.

I've called All Ways Drains for two separate incidents. Both times they were professional, timely, and kind. Our plumber took care of the issues immediately and it didn't cost too much, getting us out of some bad situations. I will never call anyone else. I really cannot recommend them enough.

Had leak under tub at house we were refinishing and initially the plumber did the job quickly and at fair price. After renovations on house complete, the tub having never been filled or used, we tested tub and it leaked into room below. Called the plumber at least five times and when he would answer, he would put me off and never called me back.  Ultimately, he refused to remedy the faulty repair claiming, incorrectly, that he had sent a bill for a later 10 minute look see, and we had never paid it.  This was absolutely false.  Poor work quality and absolutely worst customer service ever.  DO NOT USE - there are many other good, responsible plumbers in St. Paul who are more trustworthy and will at least try to stand behind their work.
