I cannot recommend Eric and Halvorsen Sewer Service highly enough. They have integrity, great pricing, and great service. He saved me from bring ripped-off by a large sewer company to the tune of thousands of dollars.

Our sewer backed up on a Sunday and as a first-time homeowner experiencing something like that for the first time, I panicked and called a large sewer/plumbing company. They came out right away and cleared the sewer line. They brought out a guy with a camera who scoped our sewer line and told me it was broken and required an emergency replacement, costing $17,000+ to replace the entire sewer line.

I called around for a 2nd opinion and found Halvorsen Sewer Service. Eric responded to me on a Sunday, expressing concern with the assessment by the large company and offering to come take a look at it for me the next day.

Eric used his camera and quickly told me that the sewer line WASN'T BROKEN. The perceived break was a buildup of concrete slurry on the bottom of the pipe, causing some water to pool. Eric cleared the concrete slurry from the pipe and told me that he did not think any repairs were necessary. He even provided me with a copy of the video of my sewer line which the large company did not do.

I sent the video to a 3rd company and they confirmed Eric's opinion that no repairs to the sewer line were necessary.

Halvorson Sewer Service did an incredible job cleaning the sewer line and getting all of the things the large company missed, at a MUCH more competitive price. He educated me thoroughly and gave me great advice on how to maintain the sewer line going forward. If you have sewer line cleaning or inspection needs, I cannot recommend Eric and Halvorsen Sewer highly enough.

The Service was great. He showed up early for an 8 AM apportionment. Our job too over an hour longer than anticipated and he was persistent in removing the roots even tho it put him behind on his other jobs. We were also offered suggestions to prevent the problems from getting worse in the future! Great job! Thanks!

Very professional - provided communication from when he would be arriving, to what the issue was, how he would approach it, walked me through testing the drains, and backs up his work.  Pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price. Will be keeping his card for any and all future sewer work!

We worked with Eric Vonzel, owner of Halvorsen Sewer Services, for a floor drain clean out, not the main line this time which he cleans out for us annually. Eric is FANTASTIC to work with--replies promptly to calls, gives an arrival window on the appointment day, then texts 15 minutes or so before arriving as needed. Wears a mask throughout, super nice person, remembers all the details about prior jobs! When we had a sewer back-up a few years ago and a really shady plumbing place (um, Ben Franklin) wanted us to do some bizarre $2000 treatment (after their first one failed because they did not clean out the line all the way to the street!), Eric came out and fixed everything for $150. He is the best, could not recommend more highly.

Eric was a great help! Our toilets, showers, and floor drains were backing up, so we were in a real bind. Every time we flushed, the downstairs toilet would gurgle, and water would come up.

We called Eric that evening, and he was able to come by the next day. He was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. He answered our questions patiently. He was fast and affordable.

Great service. Available. Punctual. Polite. Professional. Experienced. Texted a reminder before appointment. Explained it all to my boyfriend who wanted to learn everything. We had a very tough rare problem inherited from the previous homeowners who added on a bathroom. Once the problem was identified, he spent very much time and effort resolving it. I thought for sure he'd give up. Nope! And thank goodness. Problem solved! The bill: surprisingly affordable. Have already recommended his service to my friends.

I had a basement drain that was not flowing and Eric responded to my email request within two hours.  He was available to come out the same day but with my schedule I had to have him come out the next morning.  He called me 20 minutes before his arrival well within the window he gave me.  He completed the job efficiently and cleanly at a fair price.  Very professional.

Eric, owner of Halvorsen Sewer Service saved the day and at a very reasonable price to boot! We had called our trusted long time sewer guy first and his attempt at clearing the sewer line from the laundry room floor drain did not work. In fact the old fart thought he should ream it from the main sewer clean-out which was almost inaccessible because of a cedar closet blocking part of it. For some reason he never even mentioned the stack, and told us to get back to him after we moved the cedar closet. To make a long story short we were referred to Eric for a second opinion and walla, problem solved in a little over an hour (by the way Eric went through the stack to eliminate lots of tree roots). Eric is now our new sewer guy! PS Yelp mentions that Eric takes credit cards, but he does not.

As a property owner one of the most upsetting  sights is to look down into a sink and see it filled with dirty water because of a clogged drain.  Eric at Halverson Sewer Service is your salvation.  We have been using him for at least ten years and he has always come through for us.  He has a great sink side manner reassuring you that all will be well soon and the problem isn't all that is unusual or serious.  Just what you need to hear as you envision the possibility of major pipe replacement.  Eric is prompt, competent, courteous, and his fees are reasonable.  He also likes dogs which is a big plus in our household.  I highly recommend Halverson Sewer Service.

The kind of service I like - the owner is doing the work, and he is seems very knowledgeable, good at explaining what he's doing and what he found, punctual, and clean. No complaints at all.
