This place came highly recommended from a co-worker after I told him we were having some plumbing issues with our kitchen sink and basement utility sink. Basically, the drain shared by the kitchen and utility sink was backed up somewhere below the basement floor, causing water to fill up and pour over the utility sink as well as back up into the kitchen. Subscribing to the view that if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy, I tried drano, snaking the drain myself, plunging, etc. Nothing worked...

Well, this back and forth (me vs. the drain) had been going on for about a week. After realizing I was outmatched I eventually called Midway Sewer on Saturday when our Friday night meal cleanup turned into Noah's Ark style flooding in the basement laundry room. Luckily my wife is smart about these things and had me ask if there's a weekend rate and a weekday rate (there was, on the order of $20-30 difference), so, since our's was a non-emergency we had them come out on Monday.

The plumber (Ron) was polite, punctual, and fixed the problem completely. Additionally, the price was really reasonable (less than $125!). The plumber even scrubbed down the entire utility sink basin and laundry room floor since it had been covered with the backed up water. By the time he was finished the place was cleaner than before the flood! I kind of wanted to take credit for the cleaning myself when my wife asked, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Anyway, I don't write a lot of Yelp reviews, but I thought these people deserve some recognition. I understand why my coworker had such high praise for this business.

Genuinely some of the best people we have had the pleasure of hiring to work on our house. Youngcastle Bathrooms are super responsive and great communicators.

Also, Dimitri is the best. He went above and beyond and is extremely knowledgeable without trying to get you spend extra money. He was always on time too and is extremely thorough. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Our project took three weeks to complete, and it was incredible how non-invasive and clean Dimitri was, even through snowstorms. Plus, he was great/considerate with pets.

This is s five-star company! Service is next to none....nobody offers service like this anymore! Prices were the best out of many estimates. Matt was the ultimate professional! He explains EVERYTHING and is so personable! Honest, reliable, and a great value! Exceeded my expectations from the very first contact, which by the way, was almost immediate. Matt knows everything about softeners and unlike others I had out to my home, didn't try to up-sell or rip me off! I purchased a investment property with a great view of the Mississippi River valley. After the purchase realized quickly I had my work cut out for me, everything that could be wrong with a 140 yr house was seriously in need of repair. Contacted Mark for complete plumbing replacement. He got me a very competitive quote quickly, we agreed and he went to work. We worked through many challenges along the way but he stuck to his quote and finished the job to perfection. I was impressed by the prompt, professional service late on a Sunday afternoon. They replaced my garbage disposal and saved our day -- no more leaks. If you are tired of the big companies treating you like a number, rescue sewer and drain will be like a breath of fresh air.

Everything you could ask for in a great service company. John gave specific detailed feedback, weighed the costs and benefits of what actions to take, showed commitment to customer satisfaction and feasibility in price and functionality, and I got to learn plenty of baseline information about the specific problems that were occurring on my unit so I know why decisions are made.

We had some bad plumbing underneath our kitchen sink. Called up Rose Plumbing as my sister-in-law had used them in the past. They came out the next morning (earlier than they said they would!) and got everything torn out, replaced and working just fine in about an hour. Denny and his son were polite, answered questions, and wore masks to protect themselves and us. I always appreciate a good plumbing company and they were a very no frills get the job done kind of crew. Thank you!

Denis was amazing he explained everything that was wrong with my shower and he was thorough. I highly recommend them also they are very professional.

The team came in and tackled the job - all without a drip.

The owner, Matt, did an excellent job. He was very professional, took the time to answer questions, and was very punctual. Both visits he said he would be there at 9AM and both times he was exactly on-time. In the past I have called the bigger guys with flashy vans and been left waiting...and waiting...and eventually the 2 hour window turns into more like three or four hours.

I will be using Matt and his team for all my plumbing needs in the future!

After 5 attempts to get the plumber here to replace two faucets, one was cancelled because it was at lunch time and we cancelled, he cancelled the rest. He came today and blew us off because we asked if would wear booties on our white carpet leading to the valves and he said he would not and we were being to difficult and he left. THUMBS DOWN!!!   I would give a minus if it was available. If he did not want the job he should have said so in the beginning instead stringing us along for 3-4 weeks!!

The most inept con job business in the Twin Cities!  I'm an Elite reviewer on Yelp and have never seen a Twin Cities business with more than 55* negative 1-star reviews!
I've worked in Advertising, sales and marketing for 25 years.
This is a classic bait and switch.
You go to their website- it's all biased 5-star reviews.   All MINNESOTA NICE- from their seemingly helpful customer service phone calls down to the last 5 guys to come out here to fix my 30+ year water heater.  I should have done my research and got at least two other bids.   THE OVERCHARGED AND INEPTITUDE!

After almost half dozen visits, they can't replace or fix the lemon  of a water heater they scammed me on...cheap equipment, parts and inept labor..,filing credit dispute and hiring a lawyer for a full refund!

SHOP AROUND AND GET AT LEAST 2 other bids- they are notorious for overcharging!

GO BACK TO TRADE SCHOOL AND LEARN YOUR FREAKIN TRADE JOBS...utter morons.
And don't play that con-Job at the end of the day where you pull out your little iPad and say if you give me five stars, it's like a tip.   How do I know that you did a good job when two weeks later everything sucks again.

The WHOLE time, this plumber told me about how juicy his pear was. He told me it was ripe and other inappropriate things. It disgusted me and my 37 year old son who lives in my basement. He told me the plumber was fruity. I guess that explains why he likes pears. He left me in a state of confusion

Racist. Don't waste your time and money.
