Nasseff was called to repair my hot water boiler because it was going low frequently. My maintenance person and I both determined it needed a new boiler fill valve.Nasseff also said boiler needed to be replaced due to heat exchanger leaking. I saw no evidence of this. Nasseff was glad to give me a bid on replacement of boiler. I had to go to building a couple times and found the boiler low, this was after the repair they did. It was my understanding that they were to replace bad fill valve. The valve was not replaced but maybe rebuilt, it still didn't work. It was at that time I replaced valve myself ($50) and boiler now works great.
I just feel that $442 was too much especially because valve wasn't replaced and it didn't work after they were done, even with $390 for labor. I completed job in about 1 hour. It seems that they wanted to sell us a new boiler instead of actually fixing it.
