Better B literally saved our lives!!

We are first time home buyers and were startled when we returned home from work one evening to find an immense amount of waste filling our guest bathroom toilet to the brim. We attempted to pump the toilet (in between fighting the nauseating smell) and after a few minutes we realized that this was not something we could fix. It was 7pm in the evening and there was no way we could let that filth sit all night so we hoped someone would take pity on us and come out for a night call. On top of that, we hoped this wasn't a major plumbing issue that would cost us a fortune considering we've lived here less than a month and haven't even paid our first mortgage yet.

The first company I called didn't even answer my call but sent me a text 30 minutes later telling me to call for an appointment tomorrow, the 2nd company told me they don't dispatch after 7pm because they stopped working by 8pm and my problem didn't sound like an easy fix, the 3rd company I called told me they worked by appointment only and had no appointments available until Friday.

After lighting every scented candle I could find, I decided to make one more call before accepting defeat and sleeping in a gas mask. B answered the phone immediately and after listening to my disgusting description of what the problem was, he told me he'd be here within the 30 minutes! B was extremely professional and made sure I understood what he intended to do as well as provided me with a very reasonable quote. Within 10 minutes, B had our guest bathroom back to smelling flower fresh! There was no mess and he even took some extra time to explain what could've caused the clog as well as provided tips on how to prevent it in the future. What plumber gives you tips on how to prevent clogs when their whole business is built off clearing clogs?? An awesome plumber, that's who. We were petrified of it being a major plumbing issue but thanks to B, our minds were quickly put at ease. I will absolutely be using B again for all my future plumbing needs.

Of the five companies I called VanGo was the only company that responded immediately. Eddie arrived earlier than expected. He was very professional and resolved the issue quickly. He even cleaned up and took away the garbage associated with my clog. I will definitely call this company in the future.

Yesterday our only toilet stopped working and backed sewage up into the tub. We were panicked and called Rooter Hero, who charged us $500 to LOOK at the problem and proceeded to quote us thousands of dollars for a full repipe - total scare tactic. After looking at reviews for Zoom Drain, we called and spoke to a lovely receptionist who said she'd get someone out first thing in the morning. It was so helpful that their lines are open 24/7 so we could get things set up quickly. My only complaint is that I asked for my fiancé to be called as a backup if I didn't pick up, which didn't happen, but luckily I saw the call not long after I missed the voicemail and they got someone out really fast after that.

Ted came out around 8:30am, gave us flat pricing, thoroughly explained our issue, and fixed the problem for us quickly and for $650 - waaaaayyy under the scammy Rooter Hero. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I feel confident that our problem is fixed properly, with fair pricing, and I'll definitely be using them for our needs in the future. We found Precision Plumbing to remove our old water softener and install a new unit. It was technically challenging, but they were able to figure out a good configuration that saved space. Unfortunately there were some leaks that we encountered along the way, but they were very prompt in returning to fix them, no questions asked.  Very thorough and professional and we appreciate their hard work.

If your reading this, you found the right plumber. Transitioning from the bay area to Roseville and needed a plumber for a few things needing to be done. AMAZING!!!! Good quality, reasonable pricing , and good old school service and honesty. Wife handles the calls, husband does the work and there's pride in doing it the right way. Extremely satisfied with Ducks Plumbing & Heating service!! Both Alex and Alberto replaced our properties main sewer line without no hesitation. My wife and I were impressed with how fast they were able to complete the job on time, and provide us with a fair quote that met our budget vs other companies that are too pricey and  extend out your projects deadline. I had my mom call me yesterday because she had water backing up in the back -to- back tub and shower in her home in the Sleepy Hollow area of Hayward.   I came out with my auger and went thru the main stack on the roof as I have done before, but the tub and shower didn't clear.  I tried going down thru the shower drain (2) and made it thru the trap, and couldn't get it to clear.  I told my mom that she better call a professional to come out and she called you.  A young man crawled under the very tight crawl space (been there before) and found that the fixture fitting they used is no longer to code and changed it with a clean-out accessable to the outside of the house.  I believed what they used back in the day is what we refered to as a cross, with no cleanout.   He pulled out a lot of hair ( used a hair strainer over your drain in the tub or shower).  She received a 10% discount.  The drain to the tub and shower is now serviceable, so I can take care of mom's house.  Thank you for the prompt service.

I called Joe Stilwell on a Tuesday and got an appointment from him for Thursday of that same week. I needed a new toilet put in, and I was in no rush. The entire experience, from getting an appointment to him giving me the prices and coming out to do the job was very smooth. What was more impressive is the speed and professionalism I saw in Joe completing the job. I was with him the entire time and it went by super fast. That's because he was quick! And he made it seem super easy. You can tell, when you see him work, that Joe has been doing this work a very long time and he's very good at what he does.
If you have ANY plumbing needs, give him a quick call before anything. See if he can come take care of it for you in his shiny new truck (he told me he just got that new truck and traded his old one in the day he came to replace my toilet). Ok, we'll, this last piece was not necessary :)

This family run business happened to be the first one I called after a leak sprung that needed professional help. Daniel and his crew do a fantastic job with reasonable prices. He went above and beyond for me as he added me at the end of his day. The work needed to be finished the following morning and my husband and I were very happy with the work. A large plumbing firm tried to snake the shower in a 70 yr home. Told us it didn't work and that repairs would be $6800 and take 2 days. Wanting to be careful, called Doug Friday about 9. No answer. He called me back 2 min later, agreed he could see the home at 3 that day. Snaked the line and cleared the blockage. Fabulous service and result. He's our go to plumber now.

We contacted a few Plumbing companies & Jon (w/Boyd) came out & gave us a very through & fair Estimate that explained everything he was going to do for our custom installation of a water filtration system.  The other companies did not go into detail of the install.
Jon came out & performed a very clean install of our system & we are very pleased with his professionalism & thoroughness of this job.  We will definitely call upon Boyd for any future Plumbing needs for our home.

I have used Charles since he first started in the Pocket area. His business has certainly grown since and he has hired employees to handle his many calls. Initially, this concerned me, fearing I would not get as good a job as I would with Charles. But for my last two calls Michael performed the work. He redid the gas plumbing for a replaced built-in BBQ grill and today replaced a twenty year old water heater. For both of these jobs Michael displayed great skill, great attitude, great everything in performing the work. And, as has always been the case since Charles started Pocket Plumbing, the costs were reasonable.

Randy Fowler came to our home to repair a leaking shower and charged $150.00 we payed Randy.  The part he used started to leak in 2 weeks. When we called him back and he wanted $90 to replace part he installed less than two weeks prior.  When talking to him the first time he seemed very nice and honest.  It's sad we can't trust repair people in our own community. :-)
