i had to work today so my wife was tasked with getting a plumber to assist with drain problems.  she called around found this company and she couldn't stop bragging about ted or the job he did. thank you ted for a great job. very inexpensive  and the job was clean. just a very nice experience from a very nice man.

We had drain problem with kitchen sink. Called Ted's Plumbing and he quickly returned our call. We scheduled time the same day. He was very competent and and started working on the clog immediately. Took some effort but he was able to clear the pipes. The best part is that he was careful with our flooring and completely cleaned up the area after. He communicated well in telling us what was wrong. Pricing was good. He quoted price at the beginning and although he took more  effort and more time to finish the process he stuck with his original quote. Really appreciated his honest.

I found Ted's Plumbing on Yelp and called for a quick quote to replace two toilets, and to ask him to come out to our house so he could provide a detailed quote for a small bathroom renovation. Ted provided a clear quote over the phone for replacing the two toilets and he explained how we could choose our desired toilet model from one of the big hardware store chains and he would pick it up and bring it on the date we did the work.

Ted did a fine job on the toilet installations and he even returned a week later without any hassle to replace the leaking factory fill valves that came with the toilets. We also had him replace our 8-year old water heater, per his recommendation.

His quote for the small bathroom remodel fit our budget, so we used him for that job also. Ted and his crew were very nice and friendly. They always gave us notice before turning the water off and on. I highly recommend Ted!

We were having extremely high water pressure, and Ted came out, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in a couple of hours.

If your reading this, you found the right plumber. Transitioning from the bay area to Roseville and needed a plumber for a few things needing to be done. AMAZING!!!! Good quality, reasonable pricing , and good old school service and honesty. Wife handles the calls, husband does the work and there's pride in doing it the right way. Once you use Ted, you will use no one else. Very nice guy and honest. Just a real grounded individual.

Ted was available within 24 hours and completed the job flawlessly. He also saved me from a local company that was CLEARLY trying to take advantage of me. I would recommend Ted in a heartbeat!

Rip off. Came to find a leak that ended up being right under the furnace, and instead of opening the furnace to check they cut an unnecessary hole in the drywall. Charged $150 for 20 minutes to essentially say, well at least we found it.. didn't clean up anything and left the trash in our front yard. Steer clear!

Ted is the man!!!  For three straight days, we tried our best to unclog our kitchen sink (the only thing we did not attempt was to remove the p trap).  On the fourth day, we decided to reach out to Ted's Plumbing because we've heard nothing but great things from our friend who uses him all the time.

When I reached him by phone, he was at another customer's house, but he said he would call me back shortly.  As promised, Ted gave me a call within an hour.

I explained the situation and he was at our door within 45 minutes.

Soon thereafter, the p trap was off, the clog was removed, the p trap was put back in place securely and our kitchen sink was operational once again!

Thanks, Ted...we will definitely be using you for all of our future plumbing needs!

Found this company browsing through Yelp! Well guess I can give my review. To bad I couldn't give them 5 stars like everyone else has. I called and nobody answered. I did receive a call back pretty quickly which was very nice! I talked to Ted and told him my toilet and tub were clogged. He then proceeds to ask me questions and asked if I live in a older home! I said yes it's an older home,. He says * That's a job for Rotor Rooter* I said aren't you open 24 hours!! He says yeah all my guys are busy and booked up right now! Oh really but you can ask questions and find out it's an older house and send me off to someone else! Your 26+ years of Experience shows a lot Ted... I'll definitely be glad to take my business else where!!  If you have a older home this is definitely not your guy...

Although I did not use their service, Ted was very professional, and gave me the appropriate advise. I would certainly use them for my plumbing needs because instead of doing a replacement project on my water heater they guided me towards what I really needed to achieve my goals. Ted gave me his phone number to call and his advise was on point, seemed very personable as well. Really appreciate the honest advise and pleased with the experience.

Ted just switched a hose bibb at my house and not only was he VERY reasonably priced, he's very hones, personable, and straight forward.  I will be recommending him to ALL of my friends and family in the area.

I was in a pinch with a clogged drain on a Sunday and thankfully they picked up. They don't do hydrojetting but referred me to someone who did. Within minutes I got a call back from Zoom Drain. I did not get service from Ted's plumbing directly but sincerely appreciate the referral to a great company that was honest and reputable. I will call Ted's for any plumbing issues in the future.

Had a major leak happen all of a sudden under our kitchen sink. Called Ted and he answered the phone right away and responded by coming within half an hour. Fixed the problem easily. Problem had been caused by an appliance repairman who had not properly disconnected and reconnected tubing for broken dishwasher which had been removed. Ted spotted the problem immediately and was pleasant and professional. Totally recommend him

We had an urgent need to get our shower valve replaced after my failed attempt to repair the 20 year old valve failed miserably. Ted answered the phone on Sunday, arrived promptly Monday morning as agreed. Ted is an excellent workman and performed the job professionally and quickly. My wife and I highly recommend you consider this gentleman for any of your plumbing repair or replacement needs.

Called Ted and asked him if he could install a gas line for me for a kitchen remodel.  He quoted me and then I told him work was to begin next month and asked him his availability.  And I kid you not, he shouted WHY ARE YOU CALLING  ME NOW? Called Ted about 11am and he answered.   My new washing machine couldnt be hooked up because the water kept flowing from the hot water valve even when main water shut off.  Asked me a couple of questions and for a picture of my valves.  Explained the problem and the cost.   Showed up in under an hour.  Fixed it and hooked up my new washer and dryer.  Very pleasant person.  Very happy customer!

I had a question regarding my refrigerator and asked Ted to give me a call. He guided me through some trouble shooting to help me resolve my problem over the phone! Ted is a genuine business man who is in the business of not only plumbing, but truly helping people. He could've easily came to my house did the test and charged me. Middle of a Tuesday afternoon and one of my sprinkler control units failed miserably and water was bursting on the fence but Ted's Plumbing talked me through shutting off the water to just the sprinklers but keep water to the house so i could stop the issue now (new home owner). If anything urgent happens again I'll give them a call. With his guidance i fixed the issue, but if I was unable he could have had a rep/technician over to me in about 2 hours which would've been great. great service & great response time

Look no further when plumbing problems occur...and they do! Early this morning kitchen sink drain pipe became disconnected and water everywhere. I rely on neighbor recommendations. So grateful to be suggested Ted's Plumbing. I immediately made a call and without one bit of hesitation on Ted's response to me / he said the magic words : I will see you later today. True to his word he came as promised and speedily repaired my problem. There are so many plumbers listed on Yelp thereby giving us many choices. I on the other hand will no longer seek anyone other than Ted's Plumbing . Highly recommended company with a delightful Ted to deal with.

It is New Years Eve at 7 p.m. and Ted saved the day! My water heater went out yesterday - I spoke to Ted in the afternoon and much to my surprise, he said he could come the very next day, even though it was New Years Eve!  His price was less than what a larger company wanted to charge and he was able to come out right away. What a relief it is that I can actually take a hot shower. I'm very grateful.

After another plumbing company failed to repair my leaking kitchen sink, I called Ted and he came out that same day to diagnose my issue. My kitchen faucet had gone bad and was leaking badly under the sink. I bought a new faucet and Ted came out the next day on a weekend and installed the faucet and was great to work with. The other plumbing company wanted to charge a lot more to replace the faucet. Glad I chose Ted.

Called Ted Saturday morning and told him my hot water heater was leaking. He was here within 2 hours, gave me a reasonable quote, and within an hour my leak was fixed. Excellent service, very appreciative! Thank you!

Ted answered his phone (that hardly happens anymore) and immediately tried to help me.  I had a water heater blow out and my garage was mostly flooded.  This was discovered on a Friday and he said he would be late but he would get to me.  

As it turned out, due to complications at another job, he called and rescheduled me for very early Saturday.  I was appreciative since my home warranty company was unable to even find an available plumber.

Ted was right on time, and got right after it.  Everything was according to quote on the phone, and he did the job in a couple of hours.  A total PRO.

Ted was great!  I had been told by other companies that the needed part had to be ordered and would take 24 to 72 hours to arrive or that I had to source it myself.  I called Ted, he answered right away (on a Saturday), gave knowledgeable info regarding what may or may not be involved in the repair and potential costs.  
The best part, he was available within 90 minutes, arrived with the part and had the repair made quickly. His cost was not only reasonable, it was half what I had been quoted by others.

Ted was awesome. He replied quickly to be inquiry about a bathtub spout copper pipe issue. Next thing I know, he came by two hours later and fixed it in no time flat.

My husband was trying to fix a sewer stoppage in our house and rented a snake. We weren't making any progress so we decided to reach out for professional help. He gave great advice and was able to come out same day if needed. We ended up getting it cleared ourselves, but we will definitely give him a call in the future for any plumbing issues! Ted has been to my house on three occasions for three separate projects in the last month - from small to large. Kitchen faucet replacement, installation of supply and drain lines for a washing machine (from upstairs to the basement), and repair of sudden leak from a bathtub. I've been really impressed and pleased with the experience and result. He's kind, extremely skilled, very responsive and reasonably priced. It's been a pleasure working with him and I would recommend his company to anyone for a variety of plumbing needs!

I called Ted on a Tuesday evening as I noticed my water heater was on its way out (16 years in service).  I will admit I was somewhat skeptical since I am a handyman and typically save on labor for home repairs, but plumbing is not something I dabble too much in and when it comes to this replacement I wanted someone who knows what they are doing.  I am glad I chose to go with Ted as he was not only very reasonably priced, but also very thorough and I could tell he knew what he was doing.  He came the very next day and replaced the water heater and I couldn't be happier with his work.  I would recommend anyone in the area to use his service and now I have a plumber to call for all future jobs I may need.

Yesterday I came across what every homeowner dreads....water on the garage floor from a leaking water heater.  I prefer to keep my business local so I did a internet search for a plumber in Roseville and came across Ted's Plumbing. Ted came out the next day and replaced the water heater. The workmanship was top notch and it was done at a very reasonable price. Ted is a personable and professional tradesman who takes pride in his work.. Ted's Plumbing has a new customer for life!

That being said, Ted's response was very quick.  We very much appreciated the support.  I really liked his honesty and his ability to get the work done that day.  It was all about me committing to the work.  We did go with another service that we have done work with before.

I found Ted on yelp...My shower would not turn off.  I called three different plumbers and after my fourth attempt to get a hold of the plumber he answered on the first ring.. It was at my house within 20 minutes and Was able to pair the issue in less than an hour. I will keep his number! Thanks Ted!

Kitchen sink garbage disposal replacement done perfectly & most importantly on my requested time for same day service.
Ted's phone number is his cell phone so you don't have to go through answering services or a formal scheduler. Ted answered the call on the first ring and even though he was busy at work for another client, he told me he could fit me in to today's Friday afternoon schedule.  Perfect response as the first plumber I used previously could not fit me into his schedule for another 3 days and I didn't want to be without use of my kitchen sink through the weekend.
Ted has been in the plumbing business since 1988 so he knows what he is doing.  His pricing is fair and I feel much more confident hiring a plumber rather than a handyman just to save a few dollars; loved Ted's comment about cheap is not skilled and skilled is not cheap! Only disappointment was that the disposal being replaced...seals broken...was only 2 years old and will not recommend a Whirlpool disposal to anyone!  Ted recommended and installed an Insinkerator Badger 5...same horsepower but much quieter and smaller than the junky short life Whirlpool.  Will use Ted's Plumbing for future plumbing needs as my prior plumber requires advance scheduling and Ted's pricing seems lower than Linck's.  Linck's is the plumbing business that recommended and installed the Whirlpool disposal.

My family and I had a major meltdown with one of our refrigerator valves to where the water wouldn't shut off no matter what we did! (Turns out we only had to pull down on the knob and not twist it).
Ted's Plumbing answered my call immediately and promptly helped us figure out the problem just through the phone! He was so very patient with us, and stayed on the line to make sure we got everything under control.

Requested a quote from the list of Yelp plumbers and Ted was the first to respond. He called asking for some detail and photos of the problem to be able to give an estimate over the phone. Price was resonable and he scheduled to come out the next day. I had to be at work, but Ted was easy to work with via text and phone. He let himself in, fixed the problem and let himself out. Very happy with the quick resolution. I will definately call Ted in the future with plumbing needs.

I had an emergency situation with some water leakage at my rental property... After a quick search online I decided to call Ted because he was local to my area in Roseville. I have to tell you I'm so glad I did because he came quickly, was very professional and a nice guy to boot. His prices are very reasonable and he got the job done in a timely manner. I have definitely found my go to plumber for future plumbing problems... and he gets my highest recommendation.

These may seem like small things but to me, they are everything. I called about replacing a garbage disposal for my Mom in Sun City. We agreed on a price and time and... he showed up when promised, did the work agreed to and for the price. Very polite, professional and cleaned up-I might have actually been cleaner after than before!

We will hands down use Ted again for future needs...

I've had a number of issues occur over the last couple months (broken water pressure regulator, toilet issues, and backed up sink). Ted has been super helpful and he's a genuinely nice guy. I have zero regrets choosing him over any of the big names. He gives a more personal touch at a super reasonable cost. When my toilet hose cap sheered and nearly flooded my bathroom, he came out to my house at 5:00 am and only took about 10 minutes to get here. He took me to Home Depot, explained what the issues are that I'm dealing with, and didn't mind my questions. Absolutely recommend Ted!

Called for a quote. The receptionist said I would receive a call back in a few minutes. No call back ever came. I called the back twice the next day and received full message box with no chance to leave a message.

If you need your water heater replaced and you don't call ted, I think you might be sorry. Only charged me for labor. No mark up on any parts. AND he's a really nice guy!

If you are looking for a great, trustworthy plumber with really reasonable pricing, your search is over!  I had a shower valve that needed to be replaced in my front bathroom and was having a heck of a time finding a plumber who was within my budget and not trying to sell me a greater fix than I needed, but also not trying to give me a bandaid fix.  I was about to give up when I looked out my front window and saw Ted's Plumbing truck driving by so I figured I'd give him a call and I couldn't be happier that I did! Ted came over to give me a free estimate and it was clear he knows his stuff and is an honest businessman.  He explained what he thought was the best fix for my situation and gave me a price that he would stand by, even if it turned out to be more difficult than he was expecting.  I can't tell you how much that helped, to know that the estimate I was given was the price I would pay.  He was prompt, thorough and clean and I couldn't be happier with the results...I giggled like a school girl when we turned on the shower after the fix, its a real shower again!  I'm a customer for life and I highly recommend Ted's Plumbing.

Ted's level of service is great! I had a 1950s bathroom sink vanity that was a monster of a job. Probably more than Ted initially anticipated, but he was happy to demo, customization of my new vanity and ensured plumbing updated appropriately. What I appreciated most he was so conscientious to clean as he worked, always made sure I was informed and comfortable with whatever changes he was making. Reasonably priced, and he arrived with a mask which is so kind and respectful as well. Like I said excellent service.

I called this company on Friday Evening 4/1/16 at 5 P.M. Looking for assistance in replacing a broken water heater. I had waited all day for another company that arrived at 4 and said they could not get parts until Tuesday and if I wanted it replaced it would be over $2300 and they could do it next week. Teds plumbing was very understanding and said they would be out to replace it that night if I wanted it. They also said they would do it without charging me overtime. As it was already after 5 and Ted was on the road from Sacramento and would not arrive util around 6:00 so I requested they come on Saturday. Ted picked up a new heater from Home Depot on Friday evening and showed up at 8:30 on Saturday 4/2/16. By 11:30 I had a new heater installed and they were cleaning up. If I ever need another plumber and someone asks my for a good plumber I would only refer Teds Plumbing. Ted's Plumbing is OUTSTANDING! If you need a good plumber that will not rip you off call Ted's plumbing first.

Had a broken pop up drain pipe and P-Trap clog issues under the master bathroom sink. Ted came carefully assessed the breakage and was able to keep the original pop up assembly and drain gold trim pieces intact. The home depot products were not a perfect match so he just used a few critical pipe pieces and completely replaced the P-Trap. End result, our sink drains freely and no leaks from the new hardware. Ted is our go to plumbing guy!
