Better B Plumbing & Drain did an awesome job me. My sewer line was backup and I called them to see if they were available today to do a sewer line clean.... being a holiday today they were able to come and clear the problem.
I was very satisfied with there service. I would recommend them to anyone.

This afternoon all my drains became clogged with sludge backing up in my tub and shower. My daughter called VanGo Rooter and within a couple of hours two young men arrived and cleared the drain. They were courteous and helpful. Unfortunately due to a broken connector to the sewer pipe (mobile park's responsibility) the problem arose again the same afternoon. I put in a call to VanGo's office and within an hour one of the young men was back fixing the problem until the park manager could have the connector replaced. In the past dealing with other plumbers I have had to wait days for a service call. I am very impressed with VanGo Rooter and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Quick reply.  Friendly.  Open on Sundays.  And offered a senior discount to my mom... without even having to ask for it!

The work was ok. I gave the technician Abraham a check. I get an email stating they cannot find my check asking me to pay again. That is not ok. How do you lose a check?

Drew was able to schedule our emergency plumbing need within the next 30mins of reaching out to them. We had Ted come and take a look at our shower. He explained our options and we went ahead and choiced jet cleaning found the cleaning wipes my son flushed. Lucky he was able to take it out. Drain now sparkling clean.

1. On Time & Efficient- Appointments can be made between 7am to about 5pm at night on weekdays. They use to do weekends, but currently only service during the weekday. Plumber Jeff and his entourage (+1 helper) got here 9 minutes after the scheduled time (7:09am) , but finished half an hour earlier than expected. I was amazed at the speed, efficiency, and timeliness of everything.

2. Affordable & Reasonable: Affordable and reasonably priced at $140/hour. Most simple plumbling jobs would probably run about 1-1.5 hours unless you are getting some piping installed.

3. Responds Quickly to Inquiry: When you are having a plumbing issue, you are probably already stressed and panicking. Greer Family Plumbing (Michelle aka Jeff the Plumber's wife) returns voicemails rather quickly. I left one on an evening and got a reply within a hour. She also picks up the phone into the evening/night hours and weekends. Meanwhile, two other places that I called didn't bother returning my call until 3 days later and by then I already resolved my problem (shame!!).

4. Friendly & Family Oriented: I miss the days when I can pick up the phone and talk to someone real. Not only are they rather real, but their customer service is friendly, courteous, and helpful. They do not oversell you on anything you do not need. I felt like I was in good hands. They were honest and quick in providing me an estimate.

I saw water spots on the side of my house and when I called American Leak Detection to come to my house to check my pipes and troubleshoot.  They were fast.  I called the appointment was made right away and the gentleman that came (Paul Upton) was able to diagnose what was the probable cause of the problem.  I would use them again or refer them if anyone ever needed.  Again, thank you Paul for your informative and Thorough

I came home yesterday evening to find our downstairs bathroom and adjoining laundry room flooded.  I traced the flooding to our downstairs bath shower drain which was overflowing with water even though that shower hadn't been used in months, and no one had been home to use the toilets or run water in the sinks all day.  After mopping up all of the water on the floors. I tried, unsuccessfully, to clear the clogged shower drain with Drano and plungers.  I realized I need a professional, but I did not know who to hire.  So I went online in search of a plumber in the Carmichael area.  Based on some very positive reviews on Yelp, I contact Fig Plumbing.  It was after their normal hours, and not an emergency so I agreed to have someone come out the next morning.  Daniel, the owner, showed up around 8:30am the following morning and soon discovered that the problem was either a broken pipe or a serious clog.  Either way, the problem presented a set of unique challenges due to the fact that our split-level house was built partly below ground so that the downstairs (and the sewer pipes that exit our house run below the main sewer line at the street), and the fact that we had no outside sewer cleanout near the house - only the one near the street. With some creative thinking and hard work, Daniel and his assistant, John, eventually cleared the blockage and got the drains operating better than ever.  I am thankful that I contacted Daniel.   He was extremely professional and his fee was very reasonable for the amount of work he did. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone in the area who need a highly competent plumber.  Thanks Daniel, you are the only plumber I will call next time I need one!

I honestly dislike leaving bad reviews on a Tradesman, and especially a local Tradesman... However, last year around this time I had Doug come out because my lower level addition toilet was backing up.   I showed him the cleanout for the toilet on the exterior wall and asked him if a 4 pipe that was at grade level with no cleanout cap was possibly the main cleanout?  I didn't know because there wasn't the standard cleanout cap and I wasn't a part of my homes remodel before we bought the home 6 years ago.  I was told by Doug that it wasn't the Main Cleanout and he was not sure what it was, even though it was 4 black pipe and inline with the city sewer tap and the side exterior of the house.  Doug decided to snake a camera down the 3 line through the 2 exterior wall cleanout from the toilet at the lower level.  He then used a signal device to tell me that my mainline had a belly in it and was causing the backup.  He said he would have to trench the entire old line and replace it with a new one for $5000 or dig where the belly was and splice  in a cleanout for less?  I said is it possible that I had some tree roots issues instead?  I had just cut down 2 40' hackberry trees from my front yard and one was about 5' from the mainline.  He said no?  He charged me $130 for the 30 minutes and left.  I got ripped off and here's why!  I ended going to HD and renting a 100' 5/8 snake and removed my toilet from my original bathroom that I know was tied into the main sewer line.  I rootered it myself for a couple hours and bore through a bunch of roots which eliminated my backup!  1 year later the problem reappeared, only this time I saw the sewage bubbling up from the 4 pipe that I was told was not my main cleanout!!!  So back to Home Depot and re snaked, all good again and I now have a cleanout with cap installed on the 4 pipe, so if I ever call Doug again...He will know right where to go?! Sheesh...maybe a little effort next time to help a neighbor out!  Tip: These State Street West Sac Homes in your neighborhood have similar plumbing.

Super thoughtful and helpful always . This last time they showed up same day for an emergency. He does quick honest work . I thought I needed a circulation  pump and the faucet just needed to be adjusted . Really a great asset . Love them

Took care of my issue, extended a 30 day warranty on the process. My technician, Chris R., was outstanding about fully explaining in detail what needed to be done and all related fees. He is an asset to his company and the profession. The price was a little steep for the sewer line hydro jetting, but I've never had it done before and I know that the equipment that does the job is very expensive. Bottom line is that it got the job done. The office staff was outstanding in keeping in communication with me about their timing and they arrived as scheduled.  If I needed to, I would call them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services based on my experience.

Wasn't expecting to get a plumber to clear my kitchen line on a Saturday at noon, but Ken saved the day! I know he probably can't always come through in 90 minutes for everyone, but in my case, A Better Plumbing Company was heroic.
