Best Home Cleaning in Sacramento CA
We had our whole home repiped from the old galvanized pipes from over 50 years ago to brand new copper pipes. Eddie and his team spent over 10 hours at our house mostly in the crawl space doing an amazing job. They made sure to inspect everything before they called the job done. And the price they gave us was far better than the 2 other bids I received for the job. Thank you again. I will definitely hire them for any future plumbing needs.

Good company, professional, on time and courteous. Would definitely use them again.

My dad's toilet clogged and his normal plumber couldn't make it. I requested a quote from 5 places and Kaelin responded within 5 minutes and was ready to come out within an hour. My dad preferred to push it out a bit, but that's besides the point.
Kaelin's price was comparable to what my dad's other plumber charges so we were good there. As the time for the appointment came, he called my dad to give him an eta. He showed up, cleared the clog and gave his recommendation for maintenance.
After he left he even reached out to me to tell me that the job was complete.
Although quick responses are a norm for the plumbing industry, Kaelin was the quickest. He was also very accommodating schedule wise. His price was standard, as mentioned above. But what sets him apart was his communication and his follow through and his moral drive to not take advantage of my 77 year old dad who thought he needed more work than what it actually required. In short, Kaelin checks all the boxes you'd expect from a plumber and goes above and beyond.

Called regarding a plumbing leak in the garage. Was supposed to come Friday. No call, no show. Arrived five days later unannounced and did not accurately diagnose the problem.

We have used Doug Whitmore for a couple of big jobs recently. He was very professional but friendly too. He was always on time and came in under budget. He was happy to work with us in difficult situations. He has state of the art equipment that allowed us to see the problems in the pipes so we knew what we were getting into. The most recent job was replacing a 100 year old cast iron waste pipe interior to our Victorian house; it had a massive crack along the whole length. He did a remarkable job and even had the city inspector say nice job. Personable, neat and professional--it doesn't get much better. We will use Doug again for any future plumbing problems.

I am so grateful for Mac's Plumbing. Steve came to give me quote on replacing heating ducts and waterline underneath my house. He was very nice & down to earth. He sent Nate and Ed to complete the task that took about 10 days. They were great! Very focused, professional, polite, people oriented, very organized and very detailed and informative on a daily bases where they were & what to expect the following day. They also had other helpers the last day or so to guarantee the quoted timeframe promised. I ended up switching from Bell Bros yearly maintenance program because of Nate and Ed to Mac's maintenance program. I felt confident in them everyday that things would get done and done Right! They completed the project today and I am very pleased with all their work. They were amazing! I would recommend them to anyone based on what they have done for me. Don't have pics to show yet.

Our family is in the process of flipping a house in the Placerville area and we found a leak in the pipes. We found out that the pipes froze and we had to get them fixed. We contacted Murray Plumbing and right away Ryan helped us out. He was able to come out the same day that we called him to look at the plumbing and give us pricing. The next day he was there on the job ready to fix the pipes. Not only did he source better/cheaper pipe material for us, but he gave us great pricing for the job that he has done. He also helped set the bathtubs. He is great to work with and is always on time and ready to help out in anyway he can. We would definitely recommend him for any plumbing needs that you have, big or small.

Pros: friendly service, fair prices, minimal machine runaround when called, usually fast appointment service, free estimates
Con: no over phone estimates, ok plumbers work, equipment capabilities.
Had some work done last year. They will take advantage if you don't know what you need. Some of their plumbers have no idea what they are doing so if you don't know what you need, these guys are not the ones to go to for it. Overall: They do have some competent techs(2nd plumber was more knowledgeable), prices are fairly competitive if you know what you want. Service with a smile while doing the minimum. By the way, first plumber offered me to do an open trench mainline replacement dug to 10 ft deep(not allowed by law).

My Carrier Infinity thermostat was acting unusual and I called the HVAC company which installed it 10 years ago to just ask a few simple questions. They would only schedule a technician to come out for $89 and would not allow me to talk to anyone. I called Comfort Master who replaced a condenser for me on this system a few years ago and Donna answered my question in about 2 minutes on the phone without charge!
They were great to deal with when my Carrier compressor went out and again today. Not sure that 5 stars is enough!

Great service! Admittedly, my family thought we were going to have to pay for major repairs to our sewer line, since we were having repeated issues and had three plumber visits just this year. Jimmy was available on Sunday at 7am, and called me back quickly to schedule service the same morning. He was insightful, courteous, had high-caliber equipment such as a high resolution scope with camera, and was honest. He thoroughly explained what he was doing and we troubleshooted a solution together that probably saved me thousands by getting to the root of the issue. Highly recommended and will keep this company on speed dial.

This business is awful - so shady and has no problem lying or threatening to get their way. I guess the upside is that they threatened us in writing (see attached screenshots of some of their emails).
We did not hire this business (thankfully). Our back fence neighbor had a backed-up sewer and (in old Davis) the City sewer line runs along the back fence and on our property. Hall's plumbing approached us to ask if they could access the sewer line from our property and we said yes. So they'd knock on the door or text us and we'd open the side gate. Several problems immediately became apparent:
(1) they would show up at random hours with no advance notice (slightly annoying since we have little kids).
(2) they were digging a massive hole - approx. 10 feet deep - to access the City sewer AND DIDN'T PUT ANY PROTECTIVE FENCING AROUND until we asked them to. Again, small children here.
(3) they didn't keep the site clean or safe (in addition to no fencing) and placed plywood boards lengthwise up against the fence in precarious positions. Again - little kids - although if the boards fell on anyone (including an adult) they would cause damage.
(4) clearly this wasn't a priority or at least they didn't prioritize trying to minimize impact to us (I guess we're not the client so they don't care?) We finally told them we needed them to finish within the next week and a half.
They said they were working as fast as they could and the delay was due to the City. We also pointed out how dangerous the site was and that we have kids so they finally put up plastic mesh fencing that doesn't actually surround the whole property.
And turns out they lied (shocker). The City showed up without them to inspect and we mentioned that Hall's said the delay was on the City's side. The City inspector was surprised and said he had shown up the day before to inspect but they hadn't finished.
Since it's the City's sewer easement we asked Hall's to provide us with the City permit confirming they have authorization to access the property as well as all City inspection reports. They said they'd email them to us (they still haven't). We told them we revoke access to our property until we receive the City's documents. Joe from Hall's came by and said the Sheriff could come arrest us if we tried to prevent them from accessing our property. I mean, if you're going to threaten at least know your jurisdiction? We let him know that the Sheriff has jurisdiction in the County, not the City, and that a Sheriff would only be used in instances in which they received a court order. He didn't know we are attorneys when he tried to lie about their legal rights, which made it somewhat amusing as well as annoying.
After we revoked access Hall's came onto our property through the neighbor's fence (because maybe we wouldn't notice them if they came through the fence?) and started filling in the hole. We told them they were trespassing and to leave. We again asked Hall's for the City documents before we allowed them back on (I'd like some kind of confirmation that they did legit work on my property before they bury the evidence.)
Then Hall's went nuts and sent us the attached email (see below) IN ALL CAPS (to show how very serious they were). They threatened to have the police escort them onto our property. Just to make sure they didn't do anything crazy I called the Davis police department, who confirmed they had not received anything from Hall's and they would not escort anyone onto our property as it's our property. I had them log my info just in case Hall's came up with a crazy story for them so that they could call me to confirm.
I called Hall's office line and spoke with the office assistant. She said there is only one main email and they can see what Joe wrote. She asked if we needed a call back from the office manager and I said yes, we need the City's documents to confirm what exactly Hall's did on our property. She said the office manager would call me back (that was last week and they have not called back).
I called our back fence neighbor to make sure Hall's hadn't said anything crazy and to ask if we could get the City documents through him. He said he has not seen them but would call Hall's to ask for them (they live in SF and this is a 2nd home so we rarely see them).
Hall's has since shown up on our neighbor's side to board up the fence so we cannot access the dirt for the hole. We also discovered when we inspected their worksite that they added a sewer cleanout for our neighbor on our property...without telling us.
Now Hall's has still not provided us with City documents, has left a hole in our yard, will not respond, and has left our yard in disrepair. I've reached out to the City directly to receive the documents because I have no idea what Hall's did. It's like a weird, bad movie. Avoid Hall's at all costs.

Our Kitchen sink was clogged, we called around to find someone who would be able to come the same day or as soon as possible. We found Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain and they sent someone out the next day on a Sunday. Despite them being fully booked, they made the time to fit us in. Laird was amazing, he arrived right on time. He is very knowledgeable and immediately was able to identify the problem. Not only was he able to fix it quickly but he also gave us tips on how to prevent the issue in the future. We would highly recommend Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain, especially Laird he is very professional and will get the job done.

I'd used Crystal Plumbing for several years when it was owned by Jerry. I'm very happy to say that the new Crystal Plumbing has the very same values and work ethic. I had a broken water main one evening and left a message. Dave called me back and promised to come out the next morning. James was here right on time and Dave also came by. The repair went smoothly and looked great. It sure was nice to have water again!

We called out Rooter Hero as we had a clog in our main sewer line. I've seen their trucks around and was hoping for a good experience. Kyle came out and although he was really nice and helpful, he was unable to clear the drain with a cable. Mind you, we have a clean out and the clog was just 4-5 feet from the clean out. He got on the phone (almost like it was staged) and said a guy would be out in 20 mins with a camera. Sure enough, Adam arrived and put a camera through the line and immediately started a sales pitch. Adam told us the only way to clear the line was to have them HYDROJET (basically putting a high pressure hose in the drain and blasting it with water) for a low cost of $1,850. This guy was like a used car salesman, aggressive and super pushy. I had to tell him several times that I needed to think about it and talk it over with my wife. I paid them for the service call (even though they resolved nothing) and he finally left.
I decided to get a second opinion and called a company that rhymes with Romco, letting them know I likely needed a hydrojet. Eric came out (he actually had a trailer with hydrojet equipment) and immediately questioned why I would need a hydrojet for this when he could do the same thing with a simple snake. He asked, Who told you this, Roto Heroes? Hmmmm...good guess. He said hydrojet is used for commercial/restaurants with grease clogs. So he used a snake with a blade and within 15 mins, he had our main drain completely clear and even showed me on the camera. He advised it was a mild root obstruction and had ZERO need of a hydrojet. For a reasonable service charge, we had our back up completely cleared with outstanding customer service. Eric told me that Rooter Hero is known for this. They are fairly new in Sacramento from the Bay Area and are always upselling the expensive and often unnecessary hydrojet and/or recommending a total repipe.
To add to this, Yelp advises you on their page that We have caught someone offering up payment in the form of cash, discounts, gift certificates or other incentives in exchange for someone to write, change, prevent or remove reviews for this business. We wanted you to know because these actions not only hurt consumers, but also honest businesses who play by the rules. Shocking!
Based on my experience, I would recommend staying FAR FAR away from this shady company.
I would appreciate if a rep from Rooter Zero could give me a call and explain what happened here.

Another amazing experience with a local small business! I hired these guys and Lance Sr. came out quickly. Prior to coming out, he gave me an excellent quote which was really reasonable and fair. My request was to have a plumbing fixture removed and replaced with one that I purchased from Home Depot which was an upgraded fixture. When Lance got to our place, he looked over the new fixture and noticed that the threads for securing the fixture weren't fitting properly. He calmly advised that I return the item and quickly offered to not charge me for the visit. I countered, making an attempt to pay him as I appreciated his gesture and honesty, which is a challenge to find nowadays. He still insisted, and even offered to return when the new item was in my possession and he would only charge me the original quote! This guy spent money on gas and wasted a little time coming over to my house and was cool as a cucumber, making sure to take care of the customer and instill confidence in me that he wasn't about just making a buck.
After he left, I returned to Home Depot to exchange the item. Once I had the part in hand, I called Lance and he quickly arranged to return to my home and complete the work. All of this, from original quote to completion, happened in the very same day. There have been no problems with his work since installation about 10 months ago.
Integrity means a lot to me, and Harvey and Sons is all about integrity. You will not regret supporting this small business. They'll look out for you.

Had a clogged kitchen sink, and I'm basically at the bottom of a handyman, so I needed all the help I can get. I was a little apprehensive about calling a plumber because I have had bad experience with Bonney before and wanted to try another company. I was promised a 12 to 2pm time slot, but changed it after to 2-4pm. It was after 6pm when James showed up, and even though he was late, it was worth the wait. James was so personable, and easy to talk to. He showed me what/where the problem is and took care of it in a jiffy. I told him about a few of my concerns and he addressed them/took care of them for me. I certainly recommend this company, and if you can request for James specifically, you're in good hands.
