I've used Van Allen a few times for my rentals. I've always found good response time, always professional and prompt, high quality of work.

Sean appeared promptly for the job with the resources to do the work. Along with some handyman services he dealt with efficiently, I had him clean a window that had severe haze that we had tried to clean for years. Low and behold, Sean had the magic formula! My window looks brand new. I will have Sean return for painting and window washing work when the weather warms up.  Thank you, Sean!

This was my first time connecting with a plumber via Yelp and I could not be more pleased!  Luke arrived a few minutes early, which I really like.  The work was done quickly and the result was a flawless repair.  I really appreciate owner run businesses, they take great pride in their work and go the extra mile.  Ohnstad Pluming is now my go to plumber.  Highly recommend you use him for your plumbing needs and, yes, the 530 area code is correct. :)

My management let them in my apartment for a service on my sink...I told management that they could enter the apartment.. Not rapid rooter.. When I got home from work $260.00 dollars was missing...they are thieves.. Don't trust them... And I will never let anyone in my place unless I'm there!!! They don't deserve the star above!!

It's been a long time coming for this review!
I have used plumber Johnny at River city plumbing for years. This man has fixed and replaced many items in my house. I have had a toilet moved and replaced with a new one. A new and bigger water heater replaced. My fridge water line hooked up. A new sink and faucets put in and the garbage disposal- which has been serviced since. These guys are professional, always on time for appointments, and kind.
I've had lots of money put in my house with new toilets/sinks/faucets/water heater ect-  and these guys delivery 5 star service while they do it.  I only call this guy, they have my trust and loyalty while I live in the Reno - Sparks area.

Make sure you get everything in writing! I had a plumbing leak and was under quoted by almost $1,000.00! Then they left a portion unfinished and I received an additional bill for $250 to finish the job that should have been included in the first $4,300.00.

They did finish the job, but terrible communication between the manager and his workers and I would not use them again. I suggest getting quotes from other companies because I felt I was significantly over charged!

It was 3° outside, we had no water in our house.  A pipe (copper) had burst under the house in an area hard to reach.  Gore Plumbing sent someone out promptly and he replaced the section of copper pipe in less than an hour, competent, professional, polite.  We're very grateful, our day no longer ruined.  Highly recommended!

Trevor has been back to do some other jobs around the house.  It nice to have someone who is skilled and reliable.

Needed a 40 year old, 1,500 gallon steel septic tank replaced due to being completely rusted out.  Had 3 estimates provided from 3 different company's and decided to go with JET plumbing.  They were one of the more reasonable bids and friends in the industry said they were reputable.  More than satisfied with the work.  Not only did Randy and Mason install the septic tank in a timely manner so that we didn't have to be without water or plumbing, but they completely shaped the excavation area and even took care of some areas where I didn't have positive natural drainage away from the house.  Great crew that constantly kept us informed and didn't mind questions when asked.  Appreciate the good work guys!!!!

Called John from a reference from our realtor and boy is he a number I will keep on hand.  We had some funny acting toilets and a slow draining shower.  He came as promised and even returned later in the day to continue the job with parts he had to pick up.  He also gave us GREAT advice for closing up our cabin for the winter to avoid frozen pipes and said if we needed anything, give him a call.  WOW, that is incredible service and ever so nice. I will definitely call on John again if needed.

They came to fix kitchen faucets played around slowly said at the end needed a new faucet 161 dollars for nothing don,t use

Used Cary's company to replace all 3 toilets in our house, as well as all of the inside plumbing lines.

Let me start by saying the price was fair and the plumber they sent, Ken, was on time. He did a great job, was personable and answered all of my questions...including some dumb ones, I'm sure!

Quality work at a fair price--what's not to like?

We've just dealt with a few plumbers and heating companies in the Reno area and this place was just professional, non-gouging, honest and seemed sincere about helping us.  Luis was the guy that helped us with our freezing pipes and fixes.  Will most definitely do business with them again!  Can't say enough great things about them....great first impression!

Beyond excellent.  Honest, efficient and quick. Every person I dealt with and the plumbers were excellent and I have high expectations.  We will only use them now. After several other plumber's did not correctly fix or tell us correct information.  T

Awesome doing business with this plumbing company for years.  They installed a commercial tankless water heater for me, moved 2 bathrooms worth of plumbing around for me and have handled a few emergencies.
If you happen to end up with a newbie who doesn't quite know how to handle the job, they will definitely make things right and will go above and beyond to assure you're happy.  Ultimately, I now know to ALWAYS request Aaron or Josh.  Their by-the-job pricing is great and their hourly rate is very reasonable too... they don't seem to be double dipping (charging 2 different customers for the same hour) like I have encountered with other plumbers here in Reno.  I highly recommend Friendly Plumbing.
