Best Pipe Repair in Portland OR
Amazing integrity and awesome service! Before even trying to book the appointment he tried to see if we could handle the issue ourselves and advised us on all the what ifs first. Will definitely use again!

These guys are great!!! We had our drains clogged at a Midas shop I run and they really impressed me. When I called a friendly lady answered the phone and she was very helpful, and was able to dispatch to us early the following day. I was off that day but when I came in the following day after the repair I was shocked at the bill, it was a fraction of what I expected. The drains are free and clear now. Thank you Clog Pro! You guys are the best!!!

I have an 11 unit apartment building located in SW Portland (near the downtown area). It was built around 1910. I was having problems with debris in the old water pipes collecting and clogging faucets and shower heads resulting is very low water pressure. So I contacted Repipe Specialists. I met with Jon from Repipe and gave him a tour of the building. He wrote up an estimate and we scheduled the work to begin in December. Since this was a large job it was scheduled to complete in two weeks. The workers arrived every day around 8:00 AM as scheduled. They managed to run all the pex throughout the building before connecting the new pex to the water line. This meant the tenants only had to deal with water shut off for two days (water was always turned on at the end of the day). The plumbers were very good at showing me some of the difficult areas where they had to use some clever work arounds. The work completed two days early and the tenants are very happy with the results as am I.

I had a ductless heat pump and the install was mostly well done, but there have been a lot of small issues that have added up to a general annoyance with Sky.
During the quote, Travis made a point to tout the UV-resistant tape they put on the lineset insulation, but they never did this. Honestly I don't care about this, as replacing the insulation whenever it crumbles is trivial, but it was ironic for sure.
Travis said they would seal up the hole in the wall -- of course -- as if it was unthinkable that they would not do this. But during a later visit from a tech, it was discovered that the hole through the plaster wasn't sealed with anything. He seemed unprepared and ended up using a scrap of rock wool I had laying around to seal the hole. Fibrous insulation like rock wool is not an air barrier, so this was still a poor solution.
I've had issues with a bad smell during warm weather when it is in cooling mode. They came by one time and cleaned the evaporator coil (this was also when the hole in the wall was semi-plugged) and the issue still has not been solved. The smell is not unbearable but it is an annoyance and I'm fearful that we'll have to live with it for 20+ years until the thing is replaced.
The indoor unit also occasionally makes a ticking noise because it vibrates. I've tapped/adjusted the plastic housing many times hoping it would go away, but it always comes back, maybe once a day or so. I emailed Sky about this and received no response. This is at least the second time I've had them drop the ball on communication. I even sent them a second email with a video of the ticking noise happening. Here it is: youtube.com/watch?v=rH1D…
Their electrician also seemed like a slob. He did not use dust collection when boring through basement joists, leaving a sawdust mess. He also marked all over my main panel with a sharpie.
These issues aside, I'm mostly happy with my heat pump. I'm an efficiency nerd and ductless heat pumps really are the best thing you can get right now. My bills are certainly low. I also liked that Travis did a Manual J heat load calculation -- this is part of what sold me. They seemed very professional. But it's seeming like that professionalism is limited to the sales experience only.

We have a clogged toilet. I sent Tri-County plumbing a message on Sunday, asking for a quote and whether or not they were available to come out on Monday or Tuesday of this week it's now Wednesday and I haven't heard anything back from them. Not a very reliable company if you ask me!
They deserve no stars, but it won't seem to let me post without giving them at least one.

Turns out our house water pressure was too high (107 psi average), causing hot water tank pressure valve to leak under certain conditions, leaving a mess. Unlike me, Sean knew the cause of this problem right away, didn't try to sell me a new tank, did a free visit / quote, immediately found our service entrance valve that the home inspector was unable to find (!), scheduled me that same week and installed a pressure regulator and expansion tank with some speedy work for a reasonable rate. Job looks absolutely professional and he left no mess. I'm not counting replacing the drywall cutout he had to do, given the prior remodel had simply plastered around the entry valve, but we had discussed this prior. Also he had some helpful tips and advice on other plumbing matters. I would not hesitate to recommend!

Serviceman, Nicholas Bobo, was reliable, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. I am very satisfied with what he did and what he explained for me to expect from the next plumber for the follow-up work. He did very thing we needed in a reasonable amount of time. He also made the connection with the plumber who will follow up to alleviate any confusion or missed steps.

Absolutely no complaints. Jamie set up the appointment and Terry and son showed up exactly on time. Their work was exemplary and their price reasonable. Very pleased and recommend them to anyone who needs quality plumbing work.

We had a leak under the sink the valve cracked behind the shut off valve. He explained everything and now it's fixed and I don't have to worry.
Ti the owner came out himself and he is a very kind and honest human and takes pride in his work.
He will always be my plumber.
Sutherland Plumbing a great company to hire.

I bought a house with a sprinkler system with 4 zones already installed. When two zones of the system started to lose pressure I started looking for the valves to fix the problem. I couldn't find those valves because they had been overgrown or buried over the years. After many hours of searching I called the leak detectives. Keith came out the next morning before I went to work and in less than an hour he had found both valves, one under several inches of grass and one under several inches of dirt at the base of a tree. I don't beleive I would have ever found them without Keith's help. His work saved me the money it would have cost to rebuild my system.

Walked into garage last night to find water leak from our water heater, and was panicking knowing how hard it is to find fast help these days especially due to COVID. John was able to squeeze us in the morning and now my wife and I can stop worrying about it!! John was prompt, professional, courteous, and so good at what he does! The apprentice with him has also told me how good John is. Once again, my wife and I were to lucky to have his help with our water heater issue and can't wait to take a hot shower in this chilly weather :) Thank you!!

Very happy with the service!
We had loose piping and spout had to be replaced due to reverse leakage. Dave took his time and even spared us having to cut through drywall to try and secure the piping behind the fiberglass shower. Dave was understanding and pleasant. The price included hardware and labor, which was also fair.

Thanks for unblocking our pipes. This is the second time in a couple of years that we've called on Simpson. I like it that we are patronizing a local company that shows up when it says it will. We had two different people from the company, but both were polite and knowledgeable. The I will call you the next time we have a problem.

This review is long overdue. Like another person said, Alan was able to do things that others couldn't. He put in the rough plumbing for a new bathroom in our 1905 house in a way that worked far better than those proposed by a couple of other plumbers we got quotes from. Not only is he a very good plumber, but he's also personable and easy to work with. And his rates are quite reasonable. We would definitely use him again.

Brent, son of the late Rex answered the phone promptly, called me back promptly after getting my details and came and left in a flash. Nothing was obviously wrong with my water heater and he gave an explanation of how it worked and answered a couple questions I had. This man deserves your business even if he didn't fix my problem as there was only a slight adjustment needed. Not your typical plumber in a very good way.

Danaya did an great job on our project with our toilet. He was great on the phone and came out very quickly. He arrived on time and was extremely nice and great at explaining things. He was even willing to do some extra work we didn't talk about beforehand. I will definitely use him again in the future.

Just used Matt and Ryan to replace the main water line from the meter to the house and replace a hose bib. They were great to work with; great price, on time, very professional and friendly, quality work, answered my questions, cleaned up after the work was done, great communication with me on updated status. I will be using them again for future plumbing projects. They also work with Steve from Evergreen Boring LLC. He was great as well.
They are a great local company that cuts out all the unnecessary costs (I had a large plumbing company that quoted more than double what Matt quoted).

This is one of those times that I am simply astonished that this business would treat a former customer with so much disrespect. I used Hillsboro Plumbing twice before to install a toilet and garbage disposal. Travis, the tech who did the previous work was great. But on the third attempt to use them, the lady who answers the phone, well let me put it in a kind way; she is costing them a lot of business. This use to be my go to plumber in Hillsboro, but not anymore. While the actual workers are good, it is nearly impossible to schedule an appointment or get a return call. Their response is that they are too busy and they make no attempt to be helpful. I wish I could speak to Travis about this matter, but I doubt he will be allowed to call me back.

The only real emergency plumber in the Portland Metro area! I called everyone all the big names like Roto Rooter and all the little names about 30+ plumbers, many stating they had emergency services. All stated 3-30 days until they could fix my emergency that left my home with no water.
I know some of it must of been luck(based on where the truck was at) but they were at my house within 1 hour of me contacting them and fixed my problem and I once again have running water! Thanks!

I had rotorooter come out to look at a plumbing issue. The gentlemen who came over were very nice. They told me rotorooter was competitive in their pricing. They fully took advantage of the situation. They were here for barely over an hour. They left a mess, including their spare piping all over the garage. They didn't even have the courtesy to replace the insulation or even replace the duct tape to hold the insulation together which they cut through. I was told by a few other companies I was fully taken advantage of. I complained on the website and someone told me they would have the manager get in touch with me. He did, however he was rude and had no knowledge of the work that had been done. I gave him the invoice number and continuously told him what was done and exactly what had been written on my invoice. He kept saying they did work outside or to the garbage disposal and other things which had NEVER been done. I was charged $1140 to fix a hose bib and a toilet shut off valve. After speaking to the manager he told me they would credit me $75.00 and that was over a month ago... still no action has been taken on their part. He also didn't have much to say about the pricing that shouldn't have been charged for the extrememly minimal amount of work they did. I would advise anyone and everyone to STAY away from this company. They leave a mess, overcharge, and don't hold themselves accountable. Their also uncertain of their warranty, the manager told me two years however the employees and my paperwork state one year.
