Although the equipment used to locate leaks is highly sensitive and technologically advanced, it takes patience and a good ear to use it to good effect. Joseph possesses these qualities. We have a leak somewhere in our yard. I called Joseph to see if he could pinpoint it so didn't have to tear up my yard. I'm so glad it was. The water line was nowhere near where it should of been. Unfortunately the leak is under my driveway.

I can't say enough about Joseph! He is wonderful! He came to my home and found my leak. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. He showed up when he said he would and got right to work finding the leak. He is very reasonably priced, and I would highly recommend him to everyone! I haven't really used the service. The reason I am giving them a 5-star review is that they provided advice through the phone without any cost, which helped me as well.

I had a leak in my water meter pit and I called them for help. Joseph told me they can help to detect where the leak is but not able to fix it. He also provided some advices and shared his opinions regarding where the leak is possibly located through the phone. Even though they are not the one whoo actually fixed the leak, I really appreciate the help.

Just outstanding. I hired to find my irrigation control valve, all 6 of them in 6 different, buried locations throughout my yard. If previously hired landscapers, 5 of them over time, and they weren't able to find any. Hiring leak detectives, they were all found in a couple short hours, marked and ready for landscapers to get to work.

The landscapers were also very impressed, they said this is next to impossible. Not for leak detectives! They will do you right.

My parents received a call from the Water Bureau saying they had a much higher bill than normal, suspecting a water leak. I found Leak Detectives on Yelp, and called. Joseph gave me instructions for me to do my own preliminary check of the problem, and I was able to determine that the leak was not inside the house nor in the irrigation system, leaving a water main leak the likely source. Joseph came out, double-checked my diagnosis, then located the leak: A long-buried water shutoff valve that had rusted. You could see the water pooled in the access cylinder. He charged $350 which I found very reasonable. In addition, he located another shutoff valve for the inside water in the crawl space, unknown to us and very useful for the future. Highest recommendations.

I called the Leak Detectives after I received a letter from the city stating I was using an excessive amount of water. Keith, and his wife, were very helpful and suggested I first turn everything off in the house, including my sprinkler feed, and check the water meter at the sidewalk.

Doing this, I was able to determine that there was no ongoing leak, including from the irrigation system or a leaky toilet. I ran through the sprinkler timer for all zones and could not visually see any leaks. With the help of a sprinkler expert I found a sprinkler head that was hidden under some bushes that was broken off. When that zone kicked on the water just gushed. I also had my time set too long, which only made things worse.
Anyway, thanks to Keith's honesty and not trying to take advantage of the situation, I was able to play detective myself at minimal cost.

Keith is an absolutely amazing guy!!!

He showed up at exactly the time of the appointment. I explained what was going on, he asked very good questions and gave me a bit of his background and how he got into his business. He explained what he was going to do and how long it would take. He then geared up and proceeded to find not one but two leaks in the main water line for my house. He explained that his accuracy was pretty good and that if the leak wasn't where he said, he would happily refund the call out charge.

When I started to dig at the first location, the leak was EXACTLY under the X that Keith had put there. I mean EXACTLY! The second leak was also where he said it was (no mark here due to it being at the meter box). There is no doubt that Keith knows what he is doing and he is extremely pleasant while he does it. Keith answered my many questions and gave me a list of local businesses that could help me fix the leaks he identified.

Keith arrived on time and was very pleasant and courteous.

His location of the leak was within the allowed 4' radius - the plumbers found the leak 3' 5 from the location marker. Unfortunately all of the 3' 5 was underneath a concrete slab - the location mark was on the edge of the slab.

The total charge was $400, a $250 charge call out fee plus 2 hours at $75/hour.

It is often an emergency when in need of a service like this and usually one has little option but to accept the charges.

A call out fee of $250 is excessive to say the least.

Keith did a great job finding the leak in our under ground main water line. We had a fairly busy day with traffic and airplane noise, but regardless within about an hour he had marked a spot on the grass. We dug down to find the leak exactly where he said it was. He had very competitive rates, was very personable, and guaranteed his work. I know who to recommend next time something like this comes up.

amazing customer service, sent them a message late night and still got a respose thru email. i mean wow! extremely friendly, great customer service. they could have come the next day but my leak was slow so i had them come the next week. as scheduled, keith showed up and found the leak for me within an hour. and it was a pin hole size leak, 4 ft under the ground. amazing!!! i went ahead and fixed the leak myself and saved me thousands! till nexg time my friend!

I am planning to build an extensive garden which would require a good amount of digging. Keith came out to my property (a ways outside of town) this morning to locate power lines and water lines surrounding the water pump to my well. He was on time, incredibly knowledgeable and even gave me some great tips on how to keep rabbits and other unwanted critters out of my garden area.

He quoted and charged a very fair price (lower than anyone else I had spoken to). I would recommend Keith to anyone who needs to map water/power lines.

The Leak Detectives came they looked they recommended! These folks are very good at what they do and I need mention Honest. Our newest home [not new] Built in 1973 has a sprinkler system which we didn't really know even existed until after we moved in? A large pond started to form on the lawn and we were told by another landscaper that it was a broken underground pipe and they would be more than happy to fix it for a fee of course? We decided to call in the leak detectives first and see what we were dealing with? As it turned out it was only a couple of faulty sprinkler heads and some of the ones that did work were set to excess or covered by overgrowth grass which caused water to back up? So no underground broken pipes to dig up and replace? These folks are worth the fee to save money on knowing not to order work that is not needed? 5 stars of course*****! Keith is a very nice guy and knowledgeable however he had a hard time finding my sprinkler valve the first time. He had to come out again which led to some billing confusion but he said he wanted to be fair in pricing and he was. They practiced very good customer service in not charging me again to come back out. I would highly recommend his services.

Keith is a very understanding and helpful person. I bought a new home last year in Vancouver. A week ago I noticed a large puddle of water next to my house. I did not see where it was coming from so I called Keith because of his reviews on yelp. I called Keith to find a main line water leak under the slab at a commercial car wash I manage in Vancouver. He was able to meet me within an hour even though he was sick and it was a holiday week. The Leak Detectives are unbelievable. I called Keith after 5 pm today and he got out to the house at 8pm to find the source of the leak. I could not be at the house when he was there, but he texted photos to me and called me several times to keep me updated. He was so thorough. He checked everything carefully and didn't rush at all. He took the time to have the dishwasher go through a full cycle to check the drain. Dealing with the unknowns of a leak is stressful but Keith was such a pleasure to work with. It's so obvious that he cares about the work he does and his customers. He also has great stories about his animals, which helped bring down my stress level! Keith came to our house to locate a leak in our sprinkler system which he found within the hour. His communication was excellent and he constantly checked in with us to see how long we wanted him to look for the extra 8 rainbird valves that were buried under the ground. I bought a house with a sprinkler system with 4 zones already installed. When two zones of the system started to lose pressure I started looking for the valves to fix the problem. I couldn't find those valves because they had been overgrown or buried over the years. After many hours of searching I called the leak detectives. Keith came out the next morning before I went to work and in less than an hour he had found both valves, one under several inches of grass and one under several inches of dirt at the base of a tree. I don't beleive I would have ever found them without Keith's help. His work saved me the money it would have cost to rebuild my system.
