They had same-day availability, gave me a flat-rate quote for clog removal that was cheaper than what anyone else quoted me, and Konner even fixed a completely unrelated problem and diagnosed the cause of the problem, without charging me extra. And to top it all off, the sink was cleaner when he left than it was when he arrived.

Totally impressed. Went out and bought s hot water heater thinking ours was on its last legs ($980).  Called Tri County after their competitor stood us up twice. Tri county came out and took a look planning to install today. After looking at it they recommended leaving it be (has several more years life) and left w/o charging for the inconvenience!  Will definitely be calling them for all my future needs. Were extremely professional.

Our water heater is in the attic and has come to the end of its life (19 years). There was a small leak from the drain valve and the drain pan didn't work correctly. Mr Rooter was our first call because they were available on a Sunday and came very quickly. At first I thought their charge to replace the water heater was absurd so I didn't move forward with it. I spent about two weeks searching for better bids just to find out the price was very reasonable compared to others. Those two weeks were very stressful for us. Some companies even refused to see it and one company went in to see the water heater and ran right out :D.

Kevin H was our tech. He returned my phone call promptly, answered all of my questions and addressed all issues. He arrived early with three guys and had it done within 3 hours. He even went to Home Depot to purchase a new drain pan and fixed the drainage pipe for us at no additional cost. He's never hesitated to answer any questions and helped us like a friend. Everything is cleaned up nicely when done. I will definitely call them for future plumbing services. Thank you Mr Rooter for doing such an awesome job!

My husband and I own a plumbing company that services all of Clark County and a large portion of Portland and surrounding counties. The point of this review is to thank Dale with Simpson Plumbing for helping my company out in a time of need. We service quite a few management companies and had received an emergency call on a Satuday morning. I could not get to this call in a timely manner, and was in a difficult situation. I knew of Simpson Plumbing, ( I had friended them on FB), and in a pinch, I called and asked Dale to help me out. He was able to take care of the issue, allowing me to provide the service that my client expected. Thank you.

Finding a plumber that crawls under apartment buildings to fix a main sewer line is a challenge these days!  Many plumbers I contacted for this repair said they strickly work on new construction projects. Except Burfitt!  They do it all, and were very responsive and reliable, and did a great job.  Alan was great to work with.

I always always use these guys. Except recently, I almost cheated on them with somebody else and I feel horrible about it. Ultimately, I came back to these guys to get the job done. I don't know what I was thinking even considering somebody else.

This was the first time I had worked with their guy named Justin. He is top notch, just like everybody else they have. In particular, Justin's emotional intelligence in terms of explaining the job was fantastic.  You know, plumbing jobs can sometimes induce sticker shock, but he was able to keep me level headed.  With that said, their estimate turned out to be in line, and even better, than the other estimates I received.  

There's just simply nobody else I'm gonna call going forward whenever I need plumbing done. Being able to trust these guys just puts my wife at ease.

Our laundry room flooded while we were installing a new washer and dryer. They responded to our yelp message very fast. They gave us a two hour window (11-1) when they can be here and they were here right on time at 11, professional, friendly, and didnt mind my mother being all up in the mix either. Will definitely call if we have any future plumbing issues!

They came out quickly to clear a drain and fixed a leaky drain pipe. Turns out they accidentally put on a new gasket with a burr or wasn't properly sealed, that caused the drain to leak a little. They came back quickly at no charge, fixed the pipe and took ownership of the imperfection. Things can't always go perfectly, so I appreciate a company that more importantly resolves the overall job well if there's an issue.

Had a severe water leak in crawl space. Anthony  spent almost 3 hours fixing in a very confined and dirty place. Very happy with him and company. They were able to move my appt up by several days due to water damage occurring.

Horrible service the owner has a temper. I would never do business with this pluming company.

We used Northwest before Thanksgiving for a small job.  They were prompt and courteous, and cleaned up perfectly.  They charged us about half of what others quoted us.  Good guys!  Use them, too!

We had to abandon our septic tank and hook up to a sewer (thank you, Clean Water Services for refusing to issue a permit that would have allowed us to repair the septic for a fraction of the costs we paid to THEM in fees.)
So, after determining we had no other options, we looked for the best excavating service experienced at doing this. First off, Black Rock Underground came highly recommended, both informally by someone at the County as well as by our former septic service who had done a stellar job. We got competing bids - all in the same ballpark. But Drew and Black Rock were by far the most professional and easy to deal with from the getgo. And this turned out to be one of those situations where first impressions were ongoingly verified. They did just what they said they'd do, were always on time, communicated continuous updates, were friendly - and left our grounds in significantly better condition than I expected (including the nice touch of reseeding grass where they had dug.)
Can't recommend Black Rock Underground highly enough - for their professionalism, friendliness, work product, care for our grounds and more.

My hot water heater had a significant leak and when I called other plumbers they couldn't come look at it for another week.  Kevin called me back within an hour and was able to come out and replace the hot water heater the very next day and at a much cheaper cost than I was quoted by the others I had contacted.

On my last day before my big move the primary bath toilet caused a lake on the floor. My packer/organizer had this business on speed dial and they arrived quickly and took care of the problem. The visit was $208 and the part was less than $8. Jeff ( I think) was polite and quick and took a look at two other leaky things on his way out. It got done. I will say my last plumber's visit cost less ($65)  but had to be scheduled out two days so this price included the emergency aspect of it all. Thankyou!!

We've hired this company three times.  Each time they have proven themselves to be prompt, helpful, honest, professional and courteous.  Thank you, Billy, for replacing our disposal today!

I recently bought a house and, during the inspection, the sewer line failed because of tree roots. I knew after I moved in that replacing the sewer line was a top priority. I got bids from eight companies, and Axiom was the lowest. That's not why I went with them, though. One company told me the entire water line would need to be replaced from the house to the street for an additional $2,500. Axiom told me if I paid to have the utilities located by a private locator (it cost $140 and was easy to set up), if they hit the water line, they'd fix it for free. I did that, and they didn't hit the water line or the gas line, even though both were within inches of the sewer line and they had to hand-dig much of the project. In addition, every other company I got bids from said the job would be at least two days; one said three days. Axiom was the only company to say they could do it in a day, and they did. As I type this, it's 3:45 p.m. and they're just wrapping up the job. They did crumple a piece of my gutter, but they hammered it back into shape and put it back. It's not perfect, but considering all that could've gone wrong on this project, I'm totally okay with it. I would definitely recommend Axiom, and if I ever have to have a sewer line replaced in the future, they'll be my only call.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tim and having him replace two outside faucets. He was very personable, professional, and efficient. He showed up on time and gave me good advice on what I needed done and what I should just take care of myself and why it would benefit me to do it myself, not to mention exactly what he would do to fix it and what it would take me. Suffice to say he did a great job and replacing the two faucets for me and gave me good solid advice that showed me he wasn't just out to make a fast buck, I would HIGHLY recommend Tim, and will use him again for my plumbing needs.

The plumbing in my house backed up. When i googled roto rooter, a bunch of other companies popped up saying $85-$93 drain cleaning services.

I decided to call roto rooter and let the gal know the plumbing had backed up and asked if she had an idea of price, she told me they would need someone to assess before giving me a quote.
She gave me a time frame of when the people would be arriving and even said they might be earlier but they showed up late. I told them the problem, they came in my house and saw my bathtub and then said it would be $469 to fix. I was utterly SHOCKED by this price. Didn't feel like I had much of a choice as I had already waited hours for them to arrive and getting another company out could take even longer-- will not use them again

I have have recently moved to the Portland area. Have purchased a home that needed service on the HVAC systems.  I called the Wolfers who's name was on the AC Instalation sticker. They sent out a very nice young man named Mo who went through both systems and sold me a service contract and a duct cleaning service. He assured me he could get the duct work cleaned the next week and would call me first thing on Monday. l called them on Monday and was told by Grant that they had no openings until mid December. This was unacceptable and I asked for my money back. ($619) Still waiting. Found two companies to do the cleaning last week. Still waiting for my money.
