Best Gas Water Heater Repair in Portland OR
We were their last project before they left town here in central Oregon. Very poor install and we had to call in someone else to fix the mistakes. They failed to caulk their penetrations and we had a terrible mice and rat problem for over a year. Since the holes have been secured that problem has gone away. None of the heat ducts were secured in holes they cut and that left air gaps that needed to be fixed. A few hours of detail work would have cured all of these issues. We called for service and they referred us to an old competitor. Couldn't cash the check and get out of town fast enough. That was over two years ago and my view hasn't changed. Good luck with these folks.

My water heater decided to give me trouble over the weekend. I sent in a yelp request and Sean got in touch with me in less than two hours! He told me what might be the trouble, and gave me lots of possible solutions. Best of all he did not try to hard sell me any expensive options. Rather he gave me information. He truly tried to help me and we had several emails back and forth before scheduling. I will always call him first in the future.

Fusion Plumbing is a quality outfit! I had a Christmas emergency and these folks were the fastest, most responsive, and certainly the most caring and conscientious plumbing company I found. It was a pretty complicated set of issues so I'll keep this review general - but rest assured, these are the people you want on your team when you've got a tricky plumbing problem.
John generously took the time to coach me through some immediate damage control measures, then came out a few days later to correct some defects in previous workmanship. Upon looking things over, he gently explained the seriousness of my plumbing situation without ever making me feel patronized or pressured -- this is important to me as a solo woman homeowner -- and then advised me of worst case scenarios before getting started. He and his apprentice Nick then proceeded to get to work fixing one problem at a time, explaining everything they did as they went along.
I thought the rate was quite reasonable, especially considering how much extra time John and others at the company spent on hand-holding and educating me before the job even started. Then once they were off the clock and my bill was paid, he took the time to thank me for my business and set realistic expectations about what else needed to be done, as well as lingering to chat and answer unrelated plumbing questions I had.
All in all an A+ experience - highly recommend!

They are a solid company, they did all the plumbing for my new construction home in Portland finished in Novemeber 2014, including a tankless water heater and after 6 months we have not had one leak or problem. I have no idea about their pricing since it was through the builder, but so far, so good.

Had a terrible experience with this company. The tech that came out was belligerent, very unprofessional, they charge 2-3 times more than most companies, I see why they were able to come out same day, no one probably wants to pay their rates!!!! Never again, will wait for our reasonable, professional company next time!

I called with a plumbing issue and Ti was at my door within the hour! He had everything necessary to make the repairs/replacements of both my faucet and toilet. I felt very confident in his abilities and he spent a lot of time explaining what my options were. His work is if the highest quality and he told me numerous times to call him for any reason. He even followed up with contact to make sure I was satisfied.
I highly recommend Surherland Plumbing!!!!!! You can't go wrong!

Just wanted to write a review to highlight the great work Simpson did for me. My home in Camas unfortunately had a leak between the street main and house main. Losing lots of water each month and bill skyrocketed. Called Simpson. First, the woman taking the initial request was great. Forgot her name, but friendly and very professional. Trent came out and did the assessment and estimate. He confirmed the problem as I did. Scheduled horizontal drilling under front yard and into basement main. Today, Kenny and coworker Jeff along with the drilling contractor Steve came out promptly as scheduled. They efficiently drilled the hole, repiped the line and resolved the issue. The job was on a fixed cost basis. Price was fair as uncertainties were unknown. Would recommend Simpson 110%. Special thanks to Kenny and Steve for great work!

Of course the water main to an apartment complex we manage broke on Thursday night at midnight. After calling several other service providers on Veteran's Day weekend, we got a rough quote from Burfitt. They were out the same day, had our tenants up and running around 6pm and their price was a right around middle of the price range he gave us.
Excellent work!

I always always use these guys. Except recently, I almost cheated on them with somebody else and I feel horrible about it. Ultimately, I came back to these guys to get the job done. I don't know what I was thinking even considering somebody else.
This was the first time I had worked with their guy named Justin. He is top notch, just like everybody else they have. In particular, Justin's emotional intelligence in terms of explaining the job was fantastic. You know, plumbing jobs can sometimes induce sticker shock, but he was able to keep me level headed. With that said, their estimate turned out to be in line, and even better, than the other estimates I received.
There's just simply nobody else I'm gonna call going forward whenever I need plumbing done. Being able to trust these guys just puts my wife at ease.

I called Trident out and a tech named kyris showed up, he was professional, courteous, and explained everything thoroughly. he gave me a bid showing me exactly what needed to be done and I was a little skeptical at first but I agreed to the price as it was much lower than the other to companies in Salem that gave me bids. Kyris finished up the work and I was blown at how good he did! I will now use Trident Plumbing from now on.. 5 stars for the above and beyond work he did at his price. thank you

This company did the remodel work to make our bathroom wheelchair accessible. The work was excellent and the plumbers were kind and professional. Easy to work with and trustworthy people.

An extraordinary couple of guys to work with. They are courteous, relaxed, thorough, and very fair with their charges. No emotional drama so there is no stress having them in the house. Born and raised here for seventy plus years, this one of a handful of companies I can say: they're keepers!

I had a water pressure problem. Apparently two issues, first the initial installation two decades ago took a 1 1/4 incoming water line and reduced it to a 1 pressure reduction valve. Rod and Andrew replaced the correct size waterline and pressure reduction gauge and now my wife is very happy.
They were very professional and very efficient.

Craftwork did all the original plumbing in my house 12 years ago. I have never had a problem with any of there work. It is top quality as I do live in an upscale neighborhood. They have always been prompt with returning service calls. They completed a kitchen renovation early and at a lower cost. When I have add emergencies, they have gotten to me right away. - even adding an unscheduled stop as one of the plumbers was on the way home. I cannot speak highly enough about their work and service. Their costs are always competitive or lower than anyone else.

My main drain to the septic was clogged. Direct Plumbing Solutions was the only one that would come out next day and not charge me an extra fee. We tried using our own sewer snakes and chemicals to no avail. They had it unclogged in less than an hour. Their rate was very competitive. Eric was very professional and personable.

Looks like I'm not alone with this review - had a single drain backed up in the laundry room and looked online to see lots of $60-$90 estimates for drain cleaning. I scheduled online with Roto-Rooter presuming their prices would be in the neighborhood. Definitely they get props for easy scheduling and prompt arrival. However, the fellow looked at my issue, said, that doesn't look too complicated, and then quoted me $500. I declined the service, scheduled with the competition and got it done for: yes indeed, $83, with a 90-day warrantee. If you enjoy flushing your money down the tube that I am sure Roto-Rooter would be able to clean out for you, schedule with their service. Otherwise, I suggest the competition, and keep the nearly 700% markup in your pocket.

I had a bathroom vanity that was clogged in a basement bathroom in my house. My girlfriend's niece lives in our basement and that is her bathroom. Apollo plumbing was offering a clogged drain special for $69 (I think that was the price). I called asked about the special, asked a few clarifying questions (like will there be any additional charges, availability, etc). We scheduled for them to come out in a few days.
First, they called the morning they were supposed to show and had to reschedule, which I was ok with - however they wanted an open ended schedule for the day. I explained that I needed a more firm schedule as I have someone living in that space. So, Apollo informs me that since it's rental the special doesn't apply and it will now cost significantly more. I was able to convince them that yes, the niece pays a modest amount in rent, but it's not a rental.
Second, the plumber shows up and of course asks if I have used any clog cleaner, which I had. He immediately goes into a tirade about how bad those are and how they normally charge extra when those are used.....Then, gives me three choices 1.) I can get the special, with absolutely no guarantee that the drain will stay unclogged. 2.) I can buy their enzymes for another $60 (maybe $80), in addition to them snaking the drain, which come with a two month (I think, can't remember exact timeline) guarantee; or 3.) For about $400 they will jet the line and give a six month guarantee.
From start to finish it just felt like they were playing me.
