Best Gas Furnace Repair in Portland OR
Grant was great, he gave us three options to solve our toilet problems. We decided on A new one. He left for A short time and returned with the the new one. I will definitely use Sky again. Thanks Grant.

These folks are AWESOME with a big 'A'. A frozen water line due to the 'Big Freeze' in PDX today. And these folks (Jeremy) was there within one hour. Severe water was running down interior walls throughout multiple levels of the house and with only our son Christopher who is living in the PDX place. They isolated and drained frozen water lines . Thanks so much that Chris was there and notified me as it could have been much more nasty and destructive. And thanks so much that I knew of this great plumbing company (Cornel's). Jeremy from Cornel's Plumbing was incredibly competent and knowledgeable tracing down the busted water line and isolating it to prevent further damage. Folks in HI (where I live most of the year) are not used to severe cold like this... of course, climate change is 'Fake News' according to the Orange one...

My shower was put back together by them and was leaking into the wall. I get that things happen sometimes so they came back out to fix it.
They didn't introduce themselves (I wasn't present during the first visit), seemed grumpy, didn't explain what they were fixing and left without saying a word.
Would have appreciated some communication as parts were replaced with something different than I had... now my shower head is too low for my family to use. I didn't get the opportunity to let them know prior to them leaving and it will now require another visit.
I would recommend going with another company.

We heard a mystery drip sound coming from a wall of our finished basement and had Apollo Plumbing come out to diagnose and fix it since we had worked with them in the past. Someone called to schedule our appointment within a half hour of my sending a message via their website. Nate was friendly and knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue as a drip in the exterior hose bib on the same wall. We were all relieved that the drip was not indoors and causing damage and I'm grateful for this peace of mind.
While the service experience was good, the bad taste in my mouth and the just OK review are about price. I found out from my spouse after the fact that we were charged nearly $900 to replace the single hose bib -- much, much more than what I had expected based on the scale of the project, the time spent, and the relative costs of the work they've done for us in the past.
I appreciated the service experience, but I will think twice before going with Apollo again without getting alternate quotes first.

Our new-construction home with A/C wasn't able to keep the 2nd floor cool on these recent 95º+ days. Michael came out for a visit on short notice and was awesome.
I came into it thinking we'd need to install a new upstairs furnace or a mini-split ($$$$) and instead Michael explained how our current system worked and how to properly tune it for efficient cooling. We closed the furnace dampers leading to basement and 1st floor, and set the fan to run all day to circulate air through the house. This made a huge difference and now we can get through these heat waves with just our house AC - no additional equipment or even window units needed.
Very grateful that Green Box didn't try and sell us something we didn't need! I will definitely be reaching out again next time we need anything.

The folks at Central Air are amazing. Mike has gone above and beyond to work with us to resolve issues with our heat pump. If you need a team that cares about the work they do and will see the job through, these are the folks to call. They are professional and courteous. I highly recommend them.

$956, I'm not making this up!
Yesterday Apollo gave me a quote of $956 to replace a leaky elbow on 1/2 inch cpvc waterline. It was in my crawl space but easily accessible with stand-up headroom at the leak. Why so much I asked, it's $5 worth of parts and no doubt will take you less than an hour. He replied that it was their flat rate for replacing the elbow. I paid the $75 required minimum estimate fee and said no thanks.
I bought 2ft of 1/2 cpvc, an elbow, and 2 couplings for $5 at H. Depot. Fixed it myself in an hour after watching a couple how to videos.
If you want to get ripped off call Apollo.

We have been customers of CEC for the past 3 years and consistently receive excellent service. They are always prompt, friendly & knowledgeable. They are upfront & honest about repairs & we've never felt like they were just out to make a buck. We refer them time & time again!

We had to get a new Hvac system. From the repair guy, salesman (Randy) to the installation crew (6) we were treated with respect, honesty and integrity. We were provided different options to choose from, was never pressured to pick the most expensive.
We opted to go with this new system that will provided unlimited hot water and level the heat in our home. I can fill our soaking tub and never run out of hot water! It is amazing, I am already in love with it.
The crew was outstanding. Very efficient, knowledgeable, personable and funny! Of course in these days Safe. They all wore a mask, nice ones with the company logo on them.
Shout out to Enrique, Earl, Paul, Joel, Mario and Anthony. 5 stars to each and everyone of them.
Plus they liked my dog Bruin. Thank you all for the great work, can't even tell you were here for 8 hrs. It is all so clean after all your work.
Very much recommend Sky Heating, AC and Plumbing!

From the moment I met these guys, there wasn't much not to like. And when Cornel, himself, came to my house and was on his hands and knees digging a hole to find out the cause of a problem (before he was hired!) I knew this was the man/team for the job. I recently purchased a home and from the inspection I knew there was a sewer issue. It was supposed to be a quick three-day job, but because of the city and the county playing hot potato as Edgar called it, it took much longer. But I can honestly say, the problem was fixed as quickly as they could. The team could not have been any nicer if they tried. And they stand by their word and their work. I sure hope I don't need to call them in the future, but I know EXACTLY where I'm going if I do! If you are looking for a fantastic company for sewer/plumbing issues, look no further. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Roth sold me a Lennox furnace and air conditioner mid 2006. The air conditioner had limited use over ensuing years, due, in part to Oregon weather. In June, discovered a leak occurred in a covered coil area to the side of the furnace. They estimated cost to be in excess of $2,000 (after senior discount) and in addition to costs for initial visit. Common sense dictates that the product itself was defective or the installer did something at installation; however there is no recourse, other than just scrapping the unit itself. Roth did nothing to make the situation better (nor did the unseasonably hot summer). By better, I mean any alternative suggestions (a whole new unit doesn't cost that much more), a payment plan, even a sympathetic ear).

Poorly skilled technician and worst customer service. When I inquired about Nest thermostat installation, they said they have technicians that have experiences with Nest thermostat. The first technician flat out said he never worked on Nest thermostat. Reading a manual, he installed it. It stopped working 2 hours after he left. They sent another technician, and he also said he has no experience with Nest thermostat. He could not get it to work. The business development manager told that he wants to make it right, and if he had to come out and install it himself, he would do it. Never happened. I called to follow up and left a voice message. Never called me back. They send me a bill for the 1st installation claiming they deserve the charge because it was working for 2 hours. WOW. They take money from customers for poor quality work. They take no pride in their work nor business.
