Rod Sr. was great! Thorough work, kept at it and found multiple clogs so we're thankful he didn't stop after he found one. Offered good tips and advice for keeping our sink clear. Thanks!
Scheduled an estimate and they never showed up, no call, nothing.
How do you trust they'll even show up to do the work if it's like that from the get go?
Danny Polk was great! He showed up ahead of schedule and completed the work quickly and efficiently! He communicated the steps he was taking to get my issue resolved and made sure I was looped in on the pricing right away. I highly recommend Danny and Apollo!!!!
5 star service in every way - from friendly customer service on call to prompt scheduling to having a helpful, knowledgeable plumber arrive on time and fix the problem! Anthony was outstanding!

Horrible place. Made an appointment for a four hour window and THEY NEVER EVEN SHOWED UP. I took off work for this appointment and it ended up being a waste of time and money. I made another appointment with a four hour window. It was ten minutes left of the window and I'm thinking they really aren't going to come. I finally get a call with 8 minutes left to spare and they finally call saying he's on his way from who knows where. He doesn't show up for another thirty minutes after the window has already ended. I made the window from 8 am until 12 pm for a REASON. I don't want to be there all day yet again for the smallest hole in my sink pipe. Ridiculous service, never planning on using again.
Cameron Cooper was the Service Tech that came out on Christmas Eve. He was polite and friendly. He did an excellent job and wore all the protective gear. He made a bad situation good.

Very nice was on time early actually. Went through step-by-step on what was wrong and showed me exactly how to fix the problem. I didn't even have to ask any questions because it was explained so well. Highly recommend Chris brough.
I broke a main valve while I was replacing the shower cartridge. I called the Apollo drain and they sent me an licensed plumber. The main valve was looked easy to replace to me but I wasn't a plumber so I wanted professional to handle it. When he arrived, he told me they need to take out couple yards of the pipe to replace and that will cost $3500. When I rejected the quote, he asked me for $75 for the dispatch fee, which I wasn't aware of, so I didn't pay him.
I called few other plumbers and they all quoted $300-$450 and the work didn't even take more than an hour.
I cannot believe I almost paid Apollo drain $3500. My advice, stay away from them.
I've used Apollo once before, when I had a pipe burst. They were fantastic then so I knew who I was calling when I couldn't get my shower to drain, despite my own efforts.
They set my appointment, but because of a personal matter I had to reschedule and they were really accommodating, which was appreciated. The next day someone came out and had it fixed within a super short time. I even had a nice chat with the plumber in the meantime.
Thanks again, Apollo. It's nice to know that I've found my neighborhood plumber & drain people.
As a homeowner, I am always concerned about the quality and cost of services that my home requires. You can imagine the apprehension I faced when I suddenly found myself in need of a plumber. I had no idea who to call, and my friends all seemed reluctant to refer me to anyone. Ends up none of them had a plumber that they had used that was good enough to recommend. Well, I still needed a plumber, so I checked around and found that Apollo Drain & Rooter Service (despite the fact they are a sizeable well-established company), had a small residential team.
I called and had them come out, and I was shocked. They were there right on time, they wasted no time getting the job done, they cleaned up their mess, they provided materials that were superior to the ones I had looked at, and they got the work done for less than 3/4 of the estimated price.
Let's see: Fast response, excellent work, and they saved me money.
It's a no brainer. When my friends ask, I have no hesitation in referring to Apollo Drain & Rooter Service.

The good: Appreciated that they were timely for the appointment and used appropriate safety precautions. The job was completed with minimal mess and in less than an hour.
The not so good: We feel their prices are very high, and they would not provide an itemized invoice breaking down parts/hours. We will not use them again. They charge $75 to provide an estimate, unless you accept their price and have them do the job, then that fee is waived. And they require your credit card on file prior to scheduling an appointment (would not schedule without us providing that information), so they can charge it immediately upon completion of the job. This might not be an issue for some people but with zero idea of how much it was going to be until they gave an estimate, I would have preferred to give them my card information after the job was done so I could use the appropriate card for my budget.

Amanda Kiser came by to do a site survey for heat pump installation. She explained the details of everything she checked, told us about why she chose the heat pumps she quoted based on the setup of our house and our existing HVAC, and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Much appreciated.

We were in need of a plumber due to a sewer backup. Apollo was a recommendation. They were also a non recommendation. But we didn't have time to get estimates so we went with them. They came out and assessed the problem and repaired it. OK, not so bad...all was done, everyone happy. Within a week, our ground started sinking and we began to have issues again. Upon a HUGE argument which involved my husband going out to Apollo to PROVE we had work done, they agreed to come out and reexamine the issue. Prior to sending a camera down and rechecking the issue, my husband was told that if it appeared it was Apollo's wrong doing, they would cover this particular fee, but we would be responsible for the sidewalk repair. Nothing was written, all verbal. After the camera results came back, Apollo was undecided as to what exactly happened, but the repair was made correctly, and all is done. Since we paid for the sidewalk, and nothing more was said regarding the camera, we assumed all was taken care of. NOT... we were constantly notified to pay the outstanding bill. Of course, since it was all verbal, plus the issues prior to the original repair of how we had to PROVE to them they did work and it failed, it finally came down to us being threatened to pay or be turned over. I paid the outstanding invoice, but will NEVER use them again nor refer them. Next time I get good and bad reports regarding a company, I will take the extra time and research both ends of the story.

I just had my the pipes on my water heater replaced due to corrosion on the pipes. I called a few places and Apollo was the first to respond and have someone come out to take a look at it. The representative, Michael T, was super professional and also very efficient at addressing the situation and offering a solution. He was able to take care of the pipes immediately and save me a ton of time and also money from what problems may occur if not taken care of. I'm glad that Apollo was able to help with my situation and made the process pretty smooth.

We have had Apollo out to our house a few times to fix our broken pipes. Victor saved the day both times. He was very professional, organized and courteous! He took the time to explain why the pipe broke and exceeded all expectations on the repair job. I would definitely recommend Apollo for future repairs!
This company was contacted to provide repairs to a leak in our business. They tightened the part to minimize the leak and then scheduled to have it repaired. twice we shut down our shop and waited for them to show up. No phone calls saying they were late, or not showing up, nothing. we called after the expected appointment time and told, on their way. still nothing later, Oh there was a slide, or the weather, etc.
Bottom line we got blown off and had to shut down our business 6 hours for no repairs in an already slow month.
I would not recommend this company to be used if you have time critical schedule, or a schedule, or you would like them to show up.

Eli came to clean out a storm drain and did a great job. Turns out there are roots in the drain so we discussed options for how to proceed. Eli was fair and pragmatic.
First and foremost I appreciated that they showed up right as scheduled they called first to make sure that it was still a good time for me gave me the technicians name and when he arrived he had a mask on I didn't have to ask him to put one on they asked me about what issues I was having and checked all the other drains, they took their time and thoroughly did the job right, they left no signs that they had been in there unlike the last people who left boot prints on my floor and towel thank you again Tyler males I always appreciate professionalism.
Thanks again... Jennifer Stafford
Apollo drain was quick to schedule an appointment when I called them about a backed up drain. I let them know that it was not an emergency but they sent someone out within a day. The young man that did our rooter service on 2 drains was professional, friendly and quick. He got the job done and fixed our problem. He was clear about the pricing and I think it was reasonable. I paid $156 to have two drains cleared. I called Apollo because they can handle simple drain clogs but also call in their plumbers and more skilled staff if the problem is bigger. Plus I like the family owned business aspect of this company. Apollo would definitely be my first choice if I ever have a problem again. I recommend them.

I posted a negative review and would like to modify it. The owner Scott called me the afternoon of the missed appointment to apologize and explain the problem. He offer to make good on the work and so the tech showed up on time , was polite and efficient with the job. Also did a bit more than required and did not charge me extra. Thanks for making daily life easier.

Apollo is great in working with your schedule the quality of work is wonderful. Jeff worked until he solved the problem. We highly recommend them.
We have used these guys for a lot of years. They always come when we need them and take care of us. Good prices, great guys.
I can not recommend apollo and Wayne enough. We have been struggling with our basement floor drain overflowing since December. The problem had spread from it overflowing when we ran the washing machine, to it overflowing when we used the kitchen sink, dishwasher, our kids bathroom sink and shower. We had been working with another plumber who had been out in December and came out today and told me he'd have to cut through our concrete to lay a new line, and that it would cost $10k and our kitchen, washing machine and 2nd bathroom would be out of commission for at least 2 weeks, maybe more. Someone recommended we get a second opinion from Apollo and we are SO grateful we did. Wayne came out within 2 hrs of me calling in, used a scope to look at the line and determined what was blocking it. For ~$350 it was all fixed and we r able to use our kitchen, washing machine, bathroom again. Apollo plumbers don't work on commission which makes me trust their business model more than others. Wayne was awesome - thank you again!!
There current radio ad for new employees is very misleading!
They are like a lot of other companies and try to up sale you instead of fix the problem! We needed the igniter fixed on our furnace and when the technician showed up and begin to look at the furnace another technician showed up and tried to tell me we needed a new furnace before the first technician had even tried to fix the problem! Very unprofessional and high pressure!
Once he had given me a way overpriced quote and I told him to leave the first technician did clean the igniter and got the furnace working but did not do a full service and clean the system but charged me way more than I was quoted and didn't even do all the work he charged us for!
I would definitely use another company!
This work was done in November and I complained but never got a response or call back!
I just heard there raido ad that say the complete opposite of how they operate and how they aren't like other companies and try to sell you something instead of fixing the problem! Such a lie!
Called on Thursday for a Saturday appointment, was told to sit my hiney at my house and wait for their arrival between the hours of 10Am and 1 PM. Considering I sleep in until 11 on Saturdays, this was not a big deal. What is a big deal is that I finally had to call them at 1:30 to ask where they were. Oh, sorry, running a bit behind Can't guarantee we can be there by three, but we can try Well we can give you a five percent discount if you reschedule for Monday What?! Monday? Hooker, some people have to work and your five percent discount will not make up for my days worth of lost wages, since we already know you can't show up on time. Can't guarantee that you will be here TWO HOURS AFTER your allotted time slot? Apparently you have no respect for my time, and no concerns over my kitchen sink backing up all over my floor. A simple apology and empathy would have sufficed but the last thing I need to spend my money on is a company with no customer service, and Myra's undeserved Christmas bonus.
How's that for a yelp review.
I regret for not checking on Yelp reviews on this business instead of relying on Dexknows.com. I tell you, Dex DOES NOT KNOW. I filed a complaint thru the BBB and will file with the CCB against this business. I was recommended by a friend to this business because his daughter attends school with one of the plumbers. The recommended plumber was all booked and he asked me to call the company to dispatch someone quicker. I was quoted $110/hour. The plumber came on a Sat but was not able to determine the cause of the odor and I was charge $65. He told my tenant that he will return call me to schedule a time to return on Tues with cameras to help check for the issue. Tues came and no one called me. So, I called to followup. Apollo said they will come out Wed with cameras. I received a call from the plumber wanting to bill me $285 and he has no idea where the odor came from. He said, $110/hr for 1.5 hours, pulling the toilet is over $100 and $15 for a wax ring. I called my tenant to confirm the amount of time the plumber was at the unit. My tenant informs me the plumber was there for only 45 mins and was sitting in his van the rest of the time. I called the office to complaint about the charge with Darlene the supervisor. Darlene tells me those charges are correct and that it cost more to use the cameras and that the customers need to ask about charges when called for service. Apollo has no way to know how much the first person quotes me. WTF! Are you kidding me?? Do I need to ask your plumber every tool he picks up to figure out a plumbing issue? Don't use these people no matter who refers you. I won't let them get away with this easily.

Victor Espinoza and his install team did an amazing job installing a new furnace and AC unit on our house in one day! Victor even stayed late to troubleshoot an issue with a shorted out control wire to make sure everything was running well so we had AC during 90+ degree heat wave.
Last week with the rain, my elderly moms house had water in the basement. We called 2 other plumbing company's that would not give me a cost with out coming out first. Christine was fantastic, she gave me all the cost of the service up front, the plumber came out and it was just a rain drain. He checked all the other drain just to make sure they were all draining' $110 and he clean up the wet towels and put them in the washer for my mom. The best part. Christine called my mom that evening just to make sure she was ok(mom Was upset when we called for service after 2 other companys scared her)The best customer service by far
I think Appollo is excellent. Ive called on them 3 times for different problems and they are friendly, clean, efficient, and reasonable. I ask these guys lots of questions and they are always friendly and good to me.
Recently had a Sewer scope inspection done at a property by this company. I believe the employee Calvin has done a very good job. He was on time and also spend some time explaining me where potential problems could happen.I found them very professional and I would recommend them for sewer scope inspection.

Apollo Drain are an absolute joke. I should have known never to contact them again after the last job they messed up. I spoke to Karen through Yelp on 7/21 regarding a low water pressure problem I had at home, (which very possibly requires a re-pipe.) She supposedly lined a plumber up to come out on 7/28, but to absolutely no surprise, he completely failed to show. The owner of the company, (yes, I know him), called me the last time and groveled about how this never happens, and that I should continue to trust them for plumbing and sewer jobs. Obviously, this (failure to satisfy customers) does happen, and it happens a lot. Just read their many many poor reviews. Apollo Drain, you will ever ever hear from me again. Don't both to follow up on Yelp, Karen. You're wasting everybody's time.
When I scheduled an appointment was told to wait at my house for 4 hours. 3 and a half hour later no one had showed up so I finally made a call to ask where they were. They told me that my appointment was canceled. WTF??? They said they called me and left a voice mail but I have never received them. Turns out they called a wrong number and left a voicemail, not mine. Yet when I asked them to come as soon as possible they told me I had to pay overtime fee even though it's not my fault at all. So you want ME to pay the overtime fee despite it's completely your fault? You have to pay the fee if you want a service today.
Just stay away from these guys.

$956, I'm not making this up!
Yesterday Apollo gave me a quote of $956 to replace a leaky elbow on 1/2 inch cpvc waterline. It was in my crawl space but easily accessible with stand-up headroom at the leak. Why so much I asked, it's $5 worth of parts and no doubt will take you less than an hour. He replied that it was their flat rate for replacing the elbow. I paid the $75 required minimum estimate fee and said no thanks.
I bought 2ft of 1/2 cpvc, an elbow, and 2 couplings for $5 at H. Depot. Fixed it myself in an hour after watching a couple how to videos.
If you want to get ripped off call Apollo.
I had nonconforming sewers. I had to get new sewer line installed from the inside of my house into the new sewer the city of Portland had installed. Not an easy job!
After getting numerous estimates I went with Apollo. The guy that came out to gave me my estimate was very knowledgable, friendly and courteous. Plus he came at the time promised!!
The sewer technicians that came out to work on my sewer were all also extremely professional, polite & knew exactly what they were doing. A fine group of workers not like others workers from other companies that I've seen working on sewer line work around my neighborhood.
I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs sewer work done!! A very great team from their secretary to all the workers I've met!

We called on (10/8) and were able to get someone here the next morning. They sent Tyler M. to help us with our backed up sink. He was extremely helpful and super informative. I appreciate him taking the extra time he took to educate us on how to take care of our pipes and steps to take in the future to prevent this from happening again. I highly recommend him and this company!

Updated review: Less than 24 hours after Lonnie was here, Rob, the plumber, showed up to repair the pipes. He had to replace over 20 feet of pipe! It was all in the crawl-space, likely on his back. Personally, my skin crawls when I'm under there! He had to lie on his back, for 4 hours to cut and dress over 20 feet of galvanized pipe! Thank you very much Rob! Superb work!
If you, dear Yelpers, should fall to the unfortunate circumstance of broken pipes and clogged drains, my highest recommendation for Apollo!
PS: Yesterday, I exceeded the performance envelope of my new little manual wheelchair when I attempted to negotiate my front stoop without a ramp. I took a serious header into the concrete; but Lonnie broke my fall! Thank you Lonnie, that was awesome!!!
I guess I fell for Apollo Plumbing and Drains LOL
Zach did an outstanding job with our water heater and a few other check list items that needed to be taken care off before moving in to our home. He was on time and great at communicating what the issues were. Highly recommend him and Apollo Plumbing!

I'm a renter, but my landlord has been using Apollo Drain and Rooter Service for years. In five years, I've needed a plumber on three separate occasions for my kitchen sink, tub faucet, and bathroom sink faucet, respectively. The jobs ranged in difficulty from easy to challenging, but on all three occasions, Apollo sent journeyman plumbers who repaired or replaced the problem effectively, promptly, and professionally. I even bought one of their Bioline products to prevent future plumbing maintenance issues, and the product works as advertised. I can only recall the names of two of the plumbers that worked on repairs--but if available--I would recommend Patrick and Tim.
OK so for a similar project I contacted six different plumbers Apollo was one of them. Their reply was great their information was thorough but they said they would charge me $75 just for a consultation if I did not hire them.
I do not appreciate that they feel their time is so valuable that they can't even bother to just come out and look at a problem before they decide to help or not. I bid is for them as much as for me and so it makes no sense to me to pay for some thing if I found someone else to have a better value or more of an appropriate fit for the skill level that I needed the work to be done.
I do appreciate that their time is worth money but so is mine I'm taking a risk just as much as they are so I understand why they charge for jobs they don't get but I disagree with the reasoning behind it. I have family members that are contractors and members that are plumbers and have been for over 40 years. No one in my family has ever charged in this way and none of the other six people that I spoke with was plumbing companies local to the area had such a fee so I'm disappointed to find that they did because they were better at communication than some of the others so I don't know what their work quality is like I cannot speak to that,
so I would check other reviews to see how their work actually is because I do not know. But I gave them a lower score because if I have to worry about just getting a bid through or not it's not worth the fee.
I just bought a vintage cottage in Se. I had a slow drain in my tub, so i called my plumber. He snaked it, and the slow drain was a no drain!
These guys busted their backs and didn't charge me till they got my drain cleared( unlike my plumber ) Thanks!!!!
As a residential Property Manager I need a plumbing service I can rely on. Apollo is excellent at contacting the tenants and getting a plumber out quickly.
Almost all of the time they fix the issue on the first visit and their prices are reasonable. I have tried other plumbers, but Apollo gives the best response, know how and prices. I use them exclusively when the choice is mine

We hired Apollo because our sump pump stopped working. Their plumber took a quick look in the crawl space and suggested strongly that Serv Plus come out and get rid of pockets of water (1 inch) and clean the area before he would replace the sump pump. Serv Plus wanted $800.00 to do this when all we needed was a new sump pump installed to pump out the water. Apollo refused to do the job until water was cleared out but kept our money we had originally paid for the home visit.
Thankfully we hired a plumber out of the newspaper and he came out and replaced the sump pump/did a better than average job and was very professional.
Follow up #1
I have contacted, or tried to contact Apollo 9 times since the original post. I have been told multiple justifications for the extremely high prices I was charged. So far, there has been no movement toward making it right. I sincerely hope consumers find other plumbers who do an honest job at a reasonable rate.
Arrived on a Saturday evening, just to see if they could fix the main drain clog. Within 30 minutes all was well. Great CS, great help, wonderful timing.

Hired Apollo to hydro jet a sewer line & do a sewer scope . Almost $400 later we were told the line needed spot repairs and the sewer line failed to pass inspection. We hired Apex to come out and provide a 2nd opinion. Apex provided a sewer scope video that revealed an EXCESSIVE amount of egg shells in the line that made the line appear to be worse than it was. The technican from Apex said I can't believe this line was just jetted . He passed the line and did not recommend any repairs. I sent the sewer scope video to Apollo & after several messages and calls, they finally got back to me and refused to refund the money. They had little concern for the issue. Awful experience, not only for the quality of work but also the customer service . Would not recommend or use again!

We started with Apollo when we bought our new home. They had done the sewer scope inspection and reported there was a belly in the line. The original project was to dig up the front lawn, repair the belly, and replace the displaced soil and grass. This bid was delivered to us along with the initial inspection (early February). We were told by our primary inspector they do good work. We were encouraged by the reviews and figured why not, no need for additional bids.
Here's the saga:
3/22: Estimate signed, job booked for 4/9
3/24: Deposit (half of bid) paid
April 7 or 8 (can't recall): phone call from Apollo saying they made scheduling mistakes and will have to reschedule for 4/13
4/13: Technician arrives and realizes the scope of the job is larger than expected. Here things get tricky: the original note identified the issue was under the house, the estimate implied under the lawn. When the technician arrived, he was operating under the latter assumption but found the former to be true. As such, he was insufficiently equipped and left. We received a call stating the original bid would be honored but the scope of work would be increased to include concrete demolition and repair. We didn't love this, but appreciated the customer service. I was told the office would call to reschedule.
4/21: I call the office to reschedule. No luck.
4/26: I call the office to reschedule. I was told they will tentatively schedule for 5/17 and 5/18. I'm told at the time the concrete repair won't happen same-day and will get subcontracted out, and am told this may happen 1-2 business days later. I'm told the subcontractor will reach out.
5/3: I call to confirm the reschedule. No luck, so I cross my fingers.
5/11: I call to confirm the reschedule. Reschedule confirmed.
5/17-5/18: Excavation and belly repair completed, along with city inspection.
5/23: I receive an email from Apollo asking for the remainder of the payment. I decline since the work has not been done.
5/28: I call to followup on subcontractor rescheduling. I'm told I'll receive a call back Tuesday morning.
Today (6/2): I call to followup on subcontractor rescheduling. I'm told I'll receive a call back.
Throughout the calls, I've been polite and as understanding as possible. At this point, I have a sheet of plywood covering a 15 sq ft hole in the front porch. Note with the exception of the technicians calling to confirm they're on the way in the morning (omitted above), the only times Apollo has called me has been to report a mistake and to request final payment. There has been no customer service followup, though each time I called I was promised a followup call.
It's been two months and my house is worse off than it was before. I try to remain positive, but on the whole I can't find a way to recommend them.

If I could give them ten stars I would. I live in a basement unit old Victorian recently renovated and there was a major back up to the point sewage was backing up into my tub and overflowing from my toilet. Their dispatcher wanted to put it off till Monday when my technician needed another guy to come with stronger equipment. He said absolutely not she has sewage in her tub. Both guys stayed way past closing to fix blockage and then called to have an cleaner to come out and disinfect my bathroom. They are awesome!!!!!!!
Jerry bales was on time and answered all my questions quickly. It's hard to trust some people by mud he did what he said he would do

Had a clogged drain line and needed a few dampers opened. The guys came drained the water pan and cleared the clog. The thing that irritated me was one of the guys tried to charge me and extra $75 dollars just to open the vent dampers when he was up where they were anyway. Sounds sketchy they wanted to charge $550 but he removed the $75 once I made an issue of it.
The issue I have is that they can show up and tack on excessive charges then try to rationalize them. The late great Ray Charles could have seen through this scam to upsale the customer. They will do the job but for $200 over the estimate. In this case I had no choice but to use them.

Doug is great! He showed up on time with a smile behind his mask. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He is extremely skilled at his craft and finished the job in 75 minutes (much less than the 3 hours other plumbing companies quoted). He left our house neat and clean just the way it was when he arrived. Being new to the Portland area, I have found my plumbing service for life. Thank you Doug and Apollo for the professionalism and fairly pricing your services! I highly recommend plumbing services from this family owned business!
We contacted Apollo Plumbing to get a quote to power spray a blocked drain in our driveway and scheduled an appointment based on a reasonable price. When the service person arrived he said the quote was incorrect and the amount would be several times more than what we were quoted. We declined the service due to new pricing but still had to pay the $75 service fee. We called another company and got the drain cleaned out for a fraction of the price Apollo wanted. We would not use Apollo again.
Wayne came back out for a separate issue at my complex today did a awesome job following all COVID guidelines and did a great job I would give home 10 5 star reviews if I could . Thanks Wayne you are my go to guy for plumbing and drain service.
Sewer line backed up into the basement of my house which I JUST bought, what's worse than that!? I was actually referred to Apollo by a plumber through my home warranty. Jason Schoell worked his ass off to get the root/mud blockage free - explaining the entire process as he went. On top of that he did a killer job of managing the mess of backed up water - I didn't have to call an extra clean-up/recovery company, which saved me a headache and a ton of money. The scope to determine the damage was discounted as he was already there, and the overall cost was very generous. I'm keeping his card handy because I have a feeling this old house has more trouble in it's future. I would definitely recommend Apollo

Exceptional service! Safety is a priority. Aaron B., had mask at the door. A text was sent when Aaron was on his way, it requested I wear a mask. As he entered our home, he wore shoe covers. He was professional, courteous, & efficient. Well done!
We noticed we had a drain backing up in our basement and called Apollo. They were able to provide service the same day we called and have the same rates for Saturday as they do weekdays which is a huge plus! The tech that provided service was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and courteous. He provided the service quickly and gave feedback for possible long term repairs. We will definitely think of Apollo Drain for our plumbing needs in the future (which we hope are few).
Today Wayne showed up for an emergency drain cleaning from the outside clean out to the main city drain. He cleared the drains clog in less than 10 minutes! Cost me only 174 for cleared drain and video recording. Originally Mr. Rooter Plumbing told me that the drain needed to be jetted and attempted an upsell of $950 after the guy already charged me a minimum charge to only scope the drain because he left his longer scope and it couldn't go past 100ft.
Wayne has GREAT customer service and also abides by the social distancing protocols.
This company cleared roots from my sewer line a couple of months ago. The job was done to my satisfaction. And there the story would end, but I have to tell you what happened. Well, I'm not exactly sure what happened, but it was a catastrophic error on their part. They came to the door and explained that they had made a mistake and they would be fixing it. They called in additional support staff and vehicles and worked until 9:30 that night, then came the next day with permits and heavy equipment. They had more workers, dug up my yard and the street, and worked all day on this job. Then they had to come back the following day and finish up. They communicated with me and were very professional at all times. I was worried they would try to get me to pay extra, but they honored their original bid. They lost a lot of money on my job. I hope they get more good business based on my five-star review because everyone makes mistakes now and then and this was just a mistake that snowballed, but they used heroic measures to make it right.

The Apollo admin contacted me quickly in response to my service request. The service tech that came out, Angel, was very professional and helpful. He let me know what he was doing and what his findings were as he completed the job. He worked efficiently and completed the work on my outside drains. The pricing was fair and as agreed.

Cameron Cooper is the best drain technician that I've seen in a mighty long time very knowledgeable, ,courtesy keep mask on,answered all questions. Great job Apollo Plumbing for hiring top notch technician.
Cameron Cooper is the keeper
We had several items that needed to be taken care of and Zach was absolutely outstanding to work with! He kept us informed through the entire process, was on time, and professional. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
After a half an hour a smug technician explains to me that they can clean my hot water heater for 365.00, or replace the part for 900.00, or replace it for 1600.00. The next day I had it fixed by a different company for 167.50! I wasted a 75.00 service fee by calling them!
These guys did the house I bought and left the yard in terrible condition. When I asked that it be fixed, the owner berated me and basically told me to get fu...umm... stuffed. There are many other sewer folks out there that are cheaper and more efficient, I would recommend looking elsewhere....unless of course, you like to be abused. Then I'd call Apollo.

Did the job quickly, efficiently, and informatively. Anthony also kindly left a bottle of BioLine, with instructions. Will use Apollo again.
This is at least the third time I have used Apollo Drain and have always had great techs and great results, and today's visit from Cameron was no exception. He called to say he was on the way (in the middle within the window of 10a-2p I was given), adhered to all Covid guidelines, previewed cost estimates with me, explained what he was going to do, shared with me everything he did to clear our backed up tub (pulled out a giant hair ball!) and left the bathroom spotless! Great job - highly recommend!

Prompt, knowledgeable and polite service. Robert Freestone honestly answered all our questions and helped us figure out the most practical way to fix our mysterious plumbing problem. He completed the job within the time frame given and didn't leave until he checked and double checked to make sure everything was working correctly. Well done.
We've used Apollo for the last 22 years to help take care of the drains in our 100-year-old house. They know their work, they are dependable, they don't try to sell you more service than you need. They just fix the drains. Scheduling was easy: they gave me a time window and then called 15 minutes before they arrived. And they are less expensive than the competition. Thumbs up from this Northeast Portland family.
We had a sewer line back up after normal business hours, and I started going through Google for 24 hour plumbing services because we needed immediate assistance.
I found that most businesses that were advertising 24 hour emergency service don't actually offer it. They have a phone service that will schedule someone to come out during business hours.
Apollo actually had someone who called back that was able to service our drain issue. Eulises called us, let us know that he was on another job, and when he thought that would be completed.
He called again within 10 minutes of the estimated time, and came straight over to fix our issue. I found him to be professional, courteous, and efficient. He had our line cleared in a short amount of time and advised us of the next steps we should take for a longer term solution without feeling like it was just an up-sell effort.
I will definitely be doing business with Apollo again!
We had a hot water heater hose burst. Nick Simon came out earlier than expected and did an excellent and thorough job solving the problem. Additionally, he went above and beyond helping us and giving us vital information about our plumbing system. we were very impressed.

I had a appointment scheduled since Friday. They insisted on a credit card to make sure I was here . Between 12-4 and they call me back ; David a dispatcher . With the wrong job instructions, and tried to up grade me from a power snake to a jetter a considerable cost difference. I worked for these guys in there office back day .these people are incompetent office people . Scott's in Disney land I was told ... think about that ... I worked as a dispatcher for them in 1992 . Nothing has changed . I even canceled a dr. Appointment this morning to make sure I was here ......you guys lost out on a cam & jetter ... & he was even safe .... no cave ins

We just recently bought a house (yay), which is a grueling process nowadays. We did a sewer scope inspection and used Apollo. They were great; efficient, friendly, informative. Their recommendation for CIPP (Cured In Place Pipe for you amateurs:) was not taken by the previous homeowners who decided on a different but equally effective solution (and cheaper): Pipe Bursting, and thru a different company. In the interest of space, I won't go into details on what's involved with those methods, but the diff company ran into an unexpected challenge, which would require WAY more time and potentially more $. We stepped in and asked if Apollo could come back and do the job. They did, and fast, as well as cleaned up the mess that the other company left behind AND left our backyard looking like no one was ever there. This was literally the day before Memorial Day weekend to boot!
Definitely 5 stars for Apollo. Special shout outs to Brandon and Kara.
I recently had a rep out to fix a couple problems on our property, which is a small apartment complex that's older and needs lots of work. Ron was nice and speedy with his work. He was polite to me and our tenants. There was a bit of a time lapse, but the folks in the office, as well as Ron were quick to explain and communicate the arrival (Which was only a few minutes late). I SO LOVE THAT! Some companies will keep you waiting all day, and not communicate with you at all. You won't find that here. I will use Apollo on my property in the future. Thanks guys!

Lonny is an awesome tech! He has helped us over the last few years with a drain issue that is unique to our property. When we were sent someone else who didn't understand what to do, Lonny came out the next day and got it all resolved for us within an hour. He contacted his manager who got me refunded for the previous call with a less experienced tech. Give Lonny a raise!!!
We have used Apollo in the past but this time had a different technician. Just like our prior tech, Doug, Rob did a good job and arrived when he said he would. He was friendly, knowledgeable and capable. He was able to solve the problem and get our water back on.
Our toilet was plugged and we tried to free the clog for two days. No luck obviously. This is the second time we've used Apollo Drain and once again they were quick and professional. This last time Jason assisted us. He was personable and very knowledgeable. Great job Jason. If we need rooter services again, you are our first call.

Worst customer service and lack of professionalism I've experienced in a company. Had an appointment scheduled for a sewer scope for a home I'm planning on purchasing and it was scheduled for noon-4pm. They called me to say they were running behind at 315 but should still be able to make it by 4. Then at 415 got a call that they could finally send someone and would be there in 45 minutes, which means they wouldn't be at the home until 5. I only had time free from noon-4pm like I had scheduled. I asked to reschedule the appointment for the following day which was a Saturday (inspection phase was coming to an end) and with MUCH attitude they told me I would have to pay an extra overtime fee per hour for the technician. I refused to pay that because it wasn't my fault they never came at the allotted time. Finally an hour later they called back and got a slot for Saturday at 8am. I show up at the home at 8 and the tech calls at 0810 saying he didn't know what time the appointment was for so I had to inform him it was scheduled for 8am. Then he says his truck wouldn't start and wouldn't be there for another thirty minutes. He finally showed up at 0845 and didn't even introduce himself...started grumbling about how he'd have to pull the toilet.
Just all in all super unprofessional and HORRIBLE with scheduling and showing up on time. If you have to take time off to be at your home for their services, don't use Apollo. A super simple sewer scope turned into a really stressful event because of these guys.
Devin P was my guy on a cold rainy Sunday night. My residential care facility has 6 special residents who had to deal with a clog and backflow chaos. I called the famous rooter company and they put me on hold for 10 minutes.
Called Apollo and they answered the phone and had a technician call me from Gresham, he told me he would be there within an hour and half depending on his current job.
Devin showed up within and hour. We had a difficult clean out cap that took a while to get off. But after he did he unclogged my pipes within five minutes.
From calling Apollo on a Sunday after hours, to my clog being fixed, less than 2 hours.
All for a very reasonable price including the after hours fee.
They take credit cards on site with an iPhone. No fumbling for a checkbook.
Thank you Devin and Apollo team

They sent someone out, he got here and said the job was too big and made it seem like it was going to be really expensive. Said he would take videos for the estimator while he was here and they would get back to us with a quote. Apparently the office never saw the videos because on the phone they didn't know what I was talking about and wanted to schedule another appointment for the estimate, pushing our project back even longer (we just want a shower!) Then after another week of waiting they called and canceled the estimate.
I had a reliable independent plumber come out and fix everything in 4 hours for a reasonable rate, which is what I should have done in the first place.
Apollo still charged me $75 for that initial visit to come say they couldn't fix anything. I knew there was a $75 fee but assumed that it was if we refused their service not them refusing to serve us.
*UPDATE 7/2/21* Apollo responded to this review saying they would credit my $75 back but I have yet to see any credit on my account. It appears they just said that to look better on Yelp and for that, my rating is going down from 2 stars to 1. I will update again if they actually give me a credit.
Our bathtub drain was clogged. I contacted Apollo Drain and they were very professional from beginning to the end. Calvin showed up and was very kind and knowledgeable. He did a great job! Apollo Drain will be our go to plumbing company! Thank you again Calvin!
A pipe in our wall/cabinet area busted and started leaking. I called apollo and they came out the next day and were able to cap the pipe. They also flushed my water tank in case this could be a cause to the pipe leak.
The only con is that the plumber accidentally busted some of the wiring to an old garbage disposal while trying to reach the pipe he was trying to cap.
I had to pay the full amount which I was happy to do, but I now I have to hire an electrician to cap the exposed wiring since it is now a safety hazard.
I have had them do some good work for me before hence the 4 stars
I was deeply impressed with Apollo's service, responsiveness, and professionalism from beginning to end. Called mid-day with a non-emergency but still urgent plumbing situation, and they had a technician reach me the next morning. Excellent communication from both dispatch and the technician, updating me about time of arrival and ways to prepare for the work to be done. The technician, Anthony V, was the absolute best! Professional, knowledgeable, personable - would never have expected to feel sad to see the plumber go, but he was just that great. Honest work, honest assessment of my plumbing needs, and honestly shared his knowledge and experience to help prevent this problem from happening again. As I hired this company from a trusted recommendation, can definitely report that I'm a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend Apollo.

Called Apollo plumbing for a sewage backup in my main bathroom on a weekday night. The person on call was at another job but called his co-worker at home to see if he could come out. Calvin drove out to portland on his night off to help us out. He was very informative and quickly fixed the problem.
Highly recommend Calvin.
I perform major renovations to apartment buildings. During an excavation we discovered we had a leaking water main that once exposed, got worse by the minute. One company was called but they couldn't handle our 2 inch line after hours because they didn't have the needed parts. Apollo was called and was on site within the hour and fully equipped. James (JP) knew what he was doing and confirmed what I had feared. Our old water main was springing leaks everywhere, and needed full replacement. Apollo has all their own equipment, and was able jump on this right away.. They can bore underground rather than excavating, which saved us thousands in driveway and landscaping repairs. Their work was completed effectively and efficiently and only one tenant went completely ballistic, and took it out on the poor plumbers, which they handled very smoothly. Tenant relations are very important to us, so that was a big plus.
I'm used to being the guy who thinks through all the details and hovers over the work site, but they were way ahead of me on this. The point is, they really care about the quality of their service. When I can ease back a bit and let a pro take charge of their project because I can see they care as much about the outcome as I do, I am one happy camper.
After seeing their work on this emergency full replacement of water mains, they are definitely on the top of my short list.

This is a revised review...I initially had a few issues with the work that was done, amount charged, and amount of time it took to put in a simple faucet. I felt that when hiring a professional plumber to work at my business that they would understand that there needed to be a sense of urgency to get the job done as efficiently as possible. With the water shut off, I had to be closed and could not serve customers. I probably should have further expressed my concerns about this prior to scheduling the appointment.
I called the office and was very displeased with the initial response to my concerns, I was offered a small amount back but it was more about the principle to me then the money and I really wanted a better response with a show of concern and customer service skills. I was much more irritated about the phone call than the job done and my small irritations turned into very large ones because of it. So I posted the first review mainly because of the phone call. I immediately got emails and a phone call with an apology. They reviewed my invoice and issued me a little refund. Overall I was satisfied with the solution and pleased that they showed concern and apologized for the initial response.
I would consider using this company again but I would probably make sure they understood my expectations thoroughly before having them do the work. Request an estimate and an approximate timeframe to complete the job.
I wish I had read the reviews before scheduling Apollo to do my sewer scope. What a waste of money and effort.
My credit card was charged an amount I did not expect, but then again, how would I know when no one would give me a concrete number to begin with? All they wanted was a credit card number that they can charge to before beginning the job.
They couldn't find an external clean out, so then they pulled a toilet, so more money there, then they still can't complete the job. Something about the camera not being able to go far enough with the corners. Fine, but maybe an email or a call to me would be nice so I would know exactly what's going on. Buying a house is difficult, everything is on a time constraint here! I did not receive anything for daysss! Not my invoice, not the report, nothing, nada.
I had to call the office to get anything. How irritating. Of course they still charged me everything because it was no the technician's fault. Well, okay! Guess that's how we make money now, just say I can't be sure, I don't know to everything. I was eventually transferred to a different department, and still, there's no one that could give me answers, more promises to call back. Would never use them again.

I contacted Apollo Drain through Yelp, and they responded quickly. They asked for a few details about the problem, and then for further contact information ... and then they just stopped responding.
I tried to call them directly, but was told all their schedulers were out for lunch and I would be called back soon ... and never got a call back. It was two weeks of wasted time.
If that's how they run their office I'd hate to see the quality of work and follow up, so I called a different company; got an prompt call back and they had someone here and the problem fixed the same day.
Jason came over, mulled over our issues, went and got parts for us then installed. He taught us how to do filter replacements. Great guy, good conversation!
Called late afternoon with broken water main.. they got here very quickly, worked after hours to solve the problem and frankly did an amazing job!!! thank you Apollo and Victor!! You saved the day!
I had a nasty bathtub clog and needed a pro. I put out a request on Yelp and Apollo was one of the first to reply. I ended up choosing them based on good reviews and great communication.
The ultimate cost was quite a bit higher than I'd hoped, but the communication and professionalism was top notch. The repairman talked me through each step and was really great to work with. Will for sure use this company again.

I feel hosed by these guys. Five minutes to replace a small cap to fix leak which I thought was backup. I asked if they could take ten more minutes to snake my sink drains since I paid for an hour at $142.00. I was told no, that would be extra...If this is how plumbers operate, I'm not sure how they sleep at night!

I called and talked to Dawna to get on the schedule to have a leak located and repaired in my house. Very professional and informative. The day of the repair, Don (the plumber) called me about 40 minutes prior to arriving as I was told he would. He showed up, located the leak and repaired it within a few hours. Took good care to only cut the walls/ceiling where necessary and very cleanly so we can reuse the pieces cut out. Dawna followed up with a call after the service. Very happy all around. They did great.
On March 8 we discovered a leak in our powder room. Because there was water pooled around the toilet, we initially thought that was the source of the leak so we turned off the shut-off valve. However, we could still hear water and discovered water dripping out under the sink so we turned off the shut-off valve under the sink as well. There was so much water that the cabinet had soaked up water and continued to drip for several hours, our hardwood floors had buckled, and there was water in the crawlspace. We had no idea what kind of damage we would be looking at and wondered if we would have to remove portions of the floor, sub-floor, or the walls. Since we were having a plumber come out to repair that leak, my husband decided to have him replace the toilet fill valves in all of our toilets (3) while he was there, assuming that that would be a quick job for a plumber. The total bid seemed high, but there was no breakdown of the costs and we thought the powder room repair could be quite extensive so we agreed to do the work. As it turned out, that repair was just a shut-off valve. It wasn't until I called (after the work was completed and paid for) to inquire about the Senior Discount that I was sent a breakdown of the costs. I was appalled to see that we paid $935.97 to replace three toilet fill valves. I find this amount unconscionable. There is no way that we would have had this work done if we had known the amount that would be charged. I also question whether all of the shut-off valves needed to be replaced (an additional $872.61). We obviously had a leak under the powder room sink, and a toilet upstairs. Unfortunately, my husband told Jonathan that all of the toilets were 'leaking'; what he meant was that the toilets were 'running' and was referring to the fill-valves, not the shut-off valves. I feel that an ethical plumber would see that the shut-off valves were fine, and would tell us that they didn't need to be replaced. The reason for the low rating I am giving is because of the complete lack of transparency in the pricing (we were told they just give a bid for the total amount, they don't give breakdowns) and the ethics involved in potentially repairing something that didn't need to be repaired.

Apollo drain is always out quickly and when they arrive they get right to work and fix the problem. I use them as my preferred vendor for work, no matter what time of year it is they are quick and efficient.
Had Arron out to my job site today to fix a copper pipe that had failed between floors in the ceiling. He was on time, wearing his mask as we require all of our subs in a customers home. He was very professional and was able to diagnose the issue & come up with a solution extremely fast. It is great to work with someone who understands the issues we face in these COVID times. I would highly recommend Apollo Drain & rooter service for any of your plumbing needs.

Yes, I got three bids. Apollo was in the middle. But they were absolutely the most responsive, professional and helpful at first inquiry, to questions by text, and phone and in follow up. I had an extensive, complicated and expensive(for me at least) water pipe replacement. They gave me the information I needed to make a good decision but didn't pressure me. I paid half down, then scheduled the work several weeks later to work with my travel schedule. I received a timely reminder, a phone call on the way and the team showed up as expected. I figured this job would take at least two days( we may have talked about the timing at the outset, I don't remember) and expected to be without water. For the actual trench dig under a large log, native plants and a sidewalk, they outsourced the ditch witch and even those guys were amazingly accurate and fast. On the inside of the house the old shut off valve had to be completely rebuilt in a very tight space which required some creativity that rivaled one of those board games involving water pipe dominoes. No problem. I carefully watched the entire process and all my questions were answered thoroughly and clearly. Oh, and this was on Friday before a three day weekend when most people were already checked out mentally, if not physically. These guys were focused and committed to taking the time to make sure everything was right and that I was satisfied. Three and half hours later, it was all over; the caution tape was up and holes were ready for final inspection by the city and water company (after which they will return to fill in the holes and remove the evidence they were ever here. And my water was on! I had visions of a torn up sidewalk and foundation planter, a completely destroyed certified native habitat, and the additional expense of replacement but I knew it had to be done. None of those visions came to fruition. I was so happy, I gave them the rest of the day off!
tech came out 5/13/20 to fix leaking bathroom faucet at my parents home..faucet started leaking again 5/15/20..called ,& dispatch says needs to check with tech to see if under warranty....REALLY!!!

Called this awesome company to come fix a 'flood' from a clogged laundry room drain. Not only did they show up promptly, but took the time to explain what might have happened, whom to call for an assessment of damage (that they even contacted for me) and then proceeded to explain ongoing maintenance of my plumbing! The clean-up after the service was outstanding (even up to my unusual standards)!! So very grateful to Rod to show understanding, professional & considerate respect for my situation AND my home.
I always find it challenging to come across people who perform thorough and communicative service - BUT not with these folks!! Ask for Rod and you won't be disappointed - I promise! What a consummate professional!
Thank you for prompt service, a smiling face and the willingness & knowledge to address my needs AND my concerns.
I HIGHLY recommend!

Apollo just installed my new hot water heater. Apollo was quick to schedule my appointment. My service Jonathan called ahead to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time. Jonathan was polite and got to work right away to access the problem. Unfortunately my old water(21 yrs) and not deemed to be repairable. He explained all that to me and then talked about replacing the old one. He scheduled to job for the next work day and they completed the job in on day. Jonathan then went over some details , explained everything they had done. I am completely satisfied with the job. Thank you Apollo and Jonathan

We have hired Apollo Drain and Rooter Service several times for plumbing issues in our nearly 100 year old house. Every time they have been timely, extremely pleasant when scheduling and have often gone above and beyond what was expected or, as in our most recent repair this week, made a rather complicated situation go as smoothly as possible. The customer service has been impeccable and the workmanship outstanding. Each step of the process was explained to us and clean up was thorough. The final invoice included several photos of the work and the professionalism from the techs to the plumbers was perfect. This last job did have a bit of a misdiagnosis but it was dealt with swiftly and in the best possible manner to get the necessary repair done in a timely manner. John Calder - Field Manager and Doug Fagan were just awesome. We will always contact Apollo first for all of our plumbing needs.
Showed up assessed the situation explained cost and plan to fix our drainage problems. Very nice and courteous. Fixed the problem at a fair price.

Excellent and efficient service. Jerry was awesome- he went out of his way to make sure our kitchen pipe was flowing again. He was also so neat and made sure everything was working and clean before he left. A definite plus to this company. Thank you for your A+ service. Highly recommended and we will use this company again when needed.
We had a clog in our house with a sense of urgency. Apollo responded and told us they could get someone the next day... most other services were telling us 2 weeks or more. Dan showed up on time, was extremely helpful and communicative, got the job done and made some great suggestions on other things that are going to need work soon, no charge.
Great value, super quick, easy to work with.
Waiting on this company to return calls - will update review based on final work done...
These guys were phenomenal. We've had service for both our tankless waterheater and our split duct HVAC system in Beaverton (which was great!) but also just had them over to our place in Welches to help install an exterior spigot and take care of some other upgrades to help with winterization of our cabin. Chris and Brendan showed up right on time at the beginning of the window they gave me, were incredibly friendly and got the job done fast. Very impressed and am so happy we found this company. Highly recommended!
Cameron Cooper must be one of your best employees as he is kind and was considerate of all of our concerns. On our difficult repair, he was professional and zeroed in on the problem with a positive attitude to complete the job. His work ethic has convinced us to consider Apollo for other upcoming upgrades that we will be doing. Thank you for your prompt response and service!!!
The work was fine (it was just a hair clog in the tub drain) but what made me unhappy is how late the plumber was in getting to us. I asked for a window in which he would be there and it was quite late when he finally got to us. It wasted my husband's whole afternoon waiting.
Late in December 2022 I called Apollo to repair a pinhole leak in a residential property in SW Portland. Save your time & the $75.00 service fee, call a licensed plumber. The tech arrives, accesses the situation & then asks to complete a plumbing inspection of your home. (which people should have done by a plumber to minimize very costly damage) Then presents a membership for plumbing services you don't need plus a clean out product that is flushed through your system. Plus the easy and simple repair I needed had an estimated cost of $1000.00 plus another $2000.00 for additional repairs. When requesting the itemized cost the rep. (Rob) continues to sell their services no one needs. Plus there is no upfront estimate even after sending pictures of the job. Got the pin hole leak fixed 2 days later for less than half the cost. Call a licensed plumber, not these guys.
We highly recommend Apollo Drain and Rooter Service for Plumbing. Our main sewer line from the house was blocked and the plumber, Jerry Bales, was polite and cleaned up after himself. He used a truck mount power sprayer at 3500 PSI to clean it out and we are happy to say we don't need a new sewer pipe. But, if we did they are the the only certified installer of the Zero Dig Lateral Liner CIPP System in Oregon. Which is cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) it is one of several trenchless rehabilitation methods used to repair existing pipelines. CIPP is a jointless, seamless, pipe-within-a-pipe with the capability to rehabilitate pipes ranging in diameter from 0.1-2.8 meter (4-110). I think this is why Mick's plumbing recommended them. There was a clog about 50 feet out and it is now clear. I was afraid it would cost us a fortune, but told my hubby that I would be happy if it was 500 bucks. Turns out it was a little more than 1/2 of that amount so we are all around happy, relieved people right now. Great work Apollo! We are now going to be using you for all our plumbing needs.
When your toilet takes a dump, your life is no fun. When your toilet does so during a terrible Oregon cold-snap-bursting-pipe episode, you're quite possibly screwed (which in the toilet world ain't pretty.)
After we misfired with one service, our home warranty company sent Apollo, and they were right on the case. The tech was a salty, competent, efficient guy. Kinda like the John Wayne of plumbing. He even made fun of my pansy low-flow toilet, which was equal parts humbling and awesome.
Now our toilet flushes (even if it's not a very manly flush). Thanks Apollo!

Allow me to clarify some facts: The phone number given to Apollo for this call was my cell number. That is the number the tech phoned on Friday (twice) and I have the voicemail on my phone to back that up. When I phoned around 2PM on Monday inquiring why he had not shown up on time, I was told he was on an all day call and that they had called me earlier and let me know. When I asked them what number they called they said a number that was my home phone. I told them that number was not working and why didn't they call my cell. They stated that they did not have it. Well the cell is the number they called on before (Friday) and it was the number that was given to them. So for them to say they left a voicemail at the wrong number is no different than not calling at all. Your mistake, own up to it.
I do not know what your tech told you, but he CLEARLY told me that he was the only one that had that type of water jet and that is why he made the appointment for me on Monday. When I was offered a different tech to come out on Monday afternoon, I said I wanted the same one because he said he was the only one with that type of waterjet. The person on the phone ACKNOWLEDGED that. If in fact, you would have had another tech available with the same equipment I would have gladly had him come out. I did not know the tech why would I have insisted on him if I was not told he was the only one with the equipment? As it turned out, I had to take a day off of work to be there on Thursday.
You are correct that I hung up on the supervisor. He could not or would not recognize that Apollo had done anything wrong. He just kept saying that you had phoned me and let me know the tech could not come. Calling the wrong number does not excuse you. There was no I am sorry this happened and yes we made a mistake. You assumed no responsibility and offered zero in response. We would not be having these exchanges if you would have just said you were sorry it happened. Also, I did not say your supervisor was deflating. I said deflecting. There is a difference.
Booked about a week out (others were booked a month out), tech arrived on time (a little early but called first). He found the problem quickly, which was a part within the spigot that had slipped out of place blocking the water from flowing. Another plumber quoted $750 to replace the entire unit. Apollo fixed it for a service call, $110. If they needed to replace it, would have been $400. The tech, Nick, was friendly & provided an explanation & options that were easy for me to understand. It was fixed with one service call. I will call them for plumbing & excited to hear they are doing heating & cooling. I will hire them to replace my furnace & add AC next year. I'm confident they are honest & fair.
I had a drain clog that I could not clear. I called three different plumbing companies including Apollo plumbing. Apollo plumbing was the only one that answered my call. They gave me a general quote over the phone and set a time to come to my house to unclog the drain. As promised, their service man showed up on time, was very professional, and performed the needed duties quickly and thoroughly. I was very impressed! I will have zero hesitation in recommending Apollo Plumbing to anyone that needs this type of service. Well done Apollo!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were given a quote, and paid half prior to work. The boys came, appeared to be doing a good job. Then the main guy said they needed to raise the drain pipe, cut into the foundation and add concrete. He said probably would be a couple of hundred more. We gave approval. They emailed us a invoice. It had NO amount on it! We called, no call back. When our bank statement came,, there was the second half of payment due taken out And another $2,000 taken out!!!!! And in Dec!! No one told us! No one called or emailed us a final bill!! Other checks bounced as it was Xmas and we were told $200, NOT $2000!! Called, spoke to a representative and explained that is Poor customer service. She said she would have the Supervisor call us. Well, 7 months later,,,,no they never called and we are still cleaning up the bad credit they gave us!!!!
Have been using them for years doing sewer scopes for clients. One of my buyers had them do a sewer scope and they said it was fine, buyers bought house. System backed up within 2 months, had two other companies come out and failed the system. When I called and talked to them they said all they had to do was mention there was an offset even though they said it was okay. Now the buyer has to replace sewer line and has clean up bills. They wouldn't do anything, we hire these companies to protect the buyers from this sort of thing. When the so called professionals say it's okay and don't let anyone know this could be a problem how is consumer to know? Now we are off to the attorney and letting my whole office know what bad business this company is doing.

Anthony came by and very quickly and thoroughly fixed my clogged bathroom sink. It's working like new again, and he even took the time to clean out my faucet spout to improve the water flow, something I hadn't even mentioned. Very much appreciated, Anthony!
My water faucet to my fridge and washer was leaking. I could not tighten it due to arthritis in my hands. I also needed to have a new faucet installed in my bathroom. This is the second time I have used their services. I am a single woman lives in a very old house and doesn't have a ton of money. The first time Bryan Haberlach came out and fixed the leak. Such a nice young man. I requested him this time and as usual he did a great. I trust him. I need work done in my main bathroom and will request him again in a few months when I can afford to get that one fixed.

Disappointing... higher plumbing hourly rate ($250) and longer technician time cost ($750) for shower cartridge replacement that is more than double national average cost.

I love Apollo plumbing. I've been using this company exclusively for a long time and they are fantastic. Taylor Males (hales?) helped us out today with a clog. He was thorough and very good at his job. Thanks Taylor!
First of all, let me say that this was pretty much my own fault. But... do NOT give Apollo your credit card number until you know exactly what the charges are. I am now the proud owner of a $1443.81 water heater. No kidding. I called them a little after 5 pm on a Saturday hoping they were still open. I didn't know I was talking to an answering service. I gave them my tenant's phone number and asked them to call her, assuming (foolishly on my part) that they would make an appointment for normal business hours. Instead, the technician drove from Gresham to Tigard without contacting me or my tenant, determined that the water heater needed replacement, and called me. I expressed great astonishment that he was there at 7 pm on a Saturday night, but went ahead and authorized the replacement. Not until I checked my credit card did I find out that the charges were $147 for the first half hour and $147/hour thereafter. There was no mention of that from the technician. Twice I called Apollo to discuss this. Twice I was told I would be called back. Nobody called me back.
Guess I ought to give them a star for quick service, but no stars for willingness to negotiate and/or interest in retaining a repeat customer.

I received a notice from Portland Water that I needed to have backflow devices tested. Michael from Apollo was very knowledgeable and explained the reason for having such devices, the test itself, etc. He was so thorough. I was really impressed with him as a person and as a plumber. I have very good experience with Apollo. Last year I had to have a clean out installed and a sewer line repaired with lining. They did an amazing job. It was a difficult one and the access was challenging. But they got it done.

These guys were amazing. Came out promptly, even during the pandemic and insane air pollution due to the local fires. Both guys were masked up, very professional and helpful. Cleared out the drain issues we were having. Thank you so much Apollo, especially Danny Polk and Cameron Cooper.
Do not hire Apollo plumbing unless you have the time to wait days on end for them to come to your house. They initially scheduled me for a 4-hour window and didn't call until the end of the window to tell me their plumber couldn't get to me that day. So we re-scheduled (another 4 hour window I had to be home to wait) for the next day and they called at the end of the window and told me that if they sent a plumber out that I may need to pay overtime due to it almost being 5pm! Unbelievable. I complained enough that they scheduled me for a specific timeslot the following day. Plumber arrived and said my issue wasn't a plumbing issue but rather a furnace issue. I called a furnace guy and he said it's impossible it's a furnace issue, so I called Apollo back and they scheduled a plumber to come out (2 days later). It's now 35 minutes past when the plumber is supposed to be here and I just got off the phone and they said the plumber's not coming in today so I'm left without a plumber until they can see if they can get someone out here!
Short of it is this: their scheduling/dispatching service is horrible and unorganized and they do NOT know what they are doing and are wasting a ton of customers' time. Nor am I confident they know what they are doing!
Karen Johnson has done a terrific job with providing educational classes to our clients. Her knowledge, expertise and professional demeanor make it a pleasure to work with her. Thank you Karen!

Not impressed. Scope of work and expectations changed. Apollo charged fees not outlined in contract. Who knows what the final bill would be if we stuck with them.
After assessing the furnace and AC we inherited after buying our home, we knew that there would be a time in the not-too-distant future when it would need to be replaced. Once we determined that we were ready to do this, we called Apollo to get it started. David came by and started the evaluation and estimating process. He was very helpful in reviewing our needs first, and then providing us with options that would best fit our situation. Once we proceeded with installation, he was able to schedule a team just two days later, and they were the best! Cedric and Ben arrived on time and set up a clean path to remove and install the equipment. Each of them were super friendly and answered all our questions before, during and after the installation. Cedric even explained the entire setup and showed us the basics of how the new furnace and AC operates. We had to pause the job to have an electrician come and wire a separate circuit for our AC, but once we competed, the same team came back to complete the setup! That was really nice, since they were both familiar with the job and had already met us, just made us feel special and taken care of. Apollo is the best!

The drain cleaning crew is good. The actual plumbers were scared to go in the crawl space. We were very unimpressed with the excuses that our building was too dangerous. This is a very safe building that we regularly drive 10,000lb forklifts over. I've also been in the crawl space myself.
It started with a plugged toilet, which they unclogged and found standing water under my house. Grrrr. It was further inspected by a plumber named Brian who documented drain pipes under the house that had negative slope. The standing water was removed by a Restoration company and Brian has fixed the kitchen drain that had holes chewed unit by rats. I had recently bought the house and the previous owner cut corners where he could so I'm glad to have Brian's expertise to fix this. Will call them again if I need a plumber.
We had a slow draining tub and called it in this morning. Were able to schedule a visit for same day service. Wayne from Apollo arrived within the time slot that was identified and contacted me advance. He was very professional, very polite and very clean in his work. In and out and we were fixed. He even paused to ask about a sink we had referenced that had been slow and explained the way the plumbing was connected.
We would definitely use Apollo again. Thanks for the great service!
Only a 4 star since the tech showed up yesterday with inoperable equipment. That wastes everyone's time.
Jordan showed up today with new equipment and got the job done. I've worked with Jordan before. He's excellent! Highly recommend.
First off, they answered the phone when I called...My air conditioner stopped working during the hottest week of the year so far...At first I couldn't get an appointment for almost two weeks, but there was a cancellation and they reached out to offer it to me. Brandon was on time, friendly, and figured out the issue in a matter of minutes. He explained the issue in detail and quoted the cost of the repair before fixing it. I'm very happy with the service and my air conditioner works great now!
We sold our house earlier this year and one of the requests from our buyer was to get a sewer scope. Apollo Drain was easy to schedule, communication was excellent with what service would be provided, and the staff was great and thorough with performing what was needed. Billing and payment was also very easy. Hopefully we won't need Apollo anytime soon but we will definitely know who to call if we need any drain or plumbing issues in the future.
Jerry Did a great job of flushing an exceptionally stubborn clogged drain we really appreciate the professional and efficient service.
Apollo has been our go-to plumbing company for years, and every time we've been satisfied. Our most recent experience was no exception; Jerry B. was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us get our kitchen sink and drain back in working order. He answered all of our questions, and was professional and friendly. We highly recommend Apollo, and will continue using them.

I work in property maintenance so I have had my fair share of companies come to my properties for various reasons. By far I call Apollo first for anything I need. I've worked with several different techs for various reasons and all of them have been professional and gotten me taken care of. Yesterday day I had Devin come out to my property to jet my sewer lines. He's been to my property before for late night emergencies and provided a great job, this time was no different. I keep these guys on speed dial because I know when I need them they will get it done.

Jerry Bales is amazing! I had a bathtub that was barely draining and we tried everything. It took him a hour and a half but he kept at it and cleared the blockage. Apollo is much cheaper than other rescue plumbers. Scheduling was easy, Jerry had a great personality, the work was great and I can use my tub again! I would recommend this business to anyone.
A Saturday morning plumbing nightmare was resolved by 630 Saturday evening. Thanks to service technician, Daniel, and great customer service by scheduler Emily, all was well by the end of the day.
I had a furnace and AC install that looked like a nightmare. The estimator (Andres) stayed for over an hour to make sure he could install it specifically as I asked. I was pretty set on what I wanted because the previous owner had a very unsafe, 30 year old setup. His crew (Victor and Ronald) were able to troubleshoot problem after problem. They ended up staying until 7:30 on a Friday evening to get the job done. I was very, very thankful for their hard work and getting things done properly. I know most companies would've just gotten it done and not in a proper way.
Very happy I went with them and would recommend them to anyone.
My only gripe would be that they send out a text saying if you give a 5 star review then you are entered into a raffle for $100. That seems a bit unethical to me but I'm sure all their competitors do that or worse. Just have it known that this review is 100% genuine and has nothing to do with the chance of winning a raffle.
Thank you to the Apollo team and their hard work!
Never called when they said they were going to. I don't get it they went to the trouble out using the yelp scheduling feature and then silence. Guess they're too flush for new business.
When our shower valve recently failed, we were originally quoted $800 by another company. Then we called Apollo and were quoted about $550 for the same job. However, Doug had a hook-up over at George Morlan and was able to find a rare part and save us $150 off his original bid. As mentioned in other reviews, they did provide a 4 hour window, but they call about 1/2 hour prior to when they show-up so you can still run errands and not be stuck on the couch waiting. Also, Doug came at the very beginning of the 4 hour window, so it wasn't a long wait at all. Overall, it was as great of an experience that a plumbing problem could be and I will call them first if I ever need plumbing work again.
Submitted a request for a quote to compare companies (no damage just a simple toilet upgrade on a toilet that was only installed a few months ago when we bought our house), basically, this should be the simplest quote to get and be pretty straightforward. The reply did not answer any questions but simply asked us a good time to schedule... Uh... I don't want to schedule I'd like to compare companies first since this isn't a repair job. We know quotes won't be exact at the end of the day but you should be able to provide me a general idea based on the simplicity of this job (as several other plumbers did).
Nope. Their reply, we don't work that way, we need to send someone out (which by the way will cost you $75) before we will even tell you our pricing or if we are comparable to other companies. I got the strong impression this company just survives off the $75 fees they charge unsuspecting customers who inevitably decide to go somewhere else.
Side note we had multiple other companies provide a complete breakdown of their services and the average cost, I have a very clear idea from those companies what I will get.... these guys? **Shrug** who knows... cuz they won't even tell you without charging you first.
BTW the quote WAS NOT over the phone it was using the request a quote feature on Yelp... so I Requested a quote. You have someone responding to quote requests, on yelp... who doesn't actually provide quotes. There is no protection for me by choosing to charge me for the pleasure of telling me how much you want to charge me. If you need to charge people to provide a quote then clearly it means your pricing alone is a concern or those you quote would just pay for your service, thus negating the need to charge them for the quote. All this tells me is more people walk away from your quotes than accept them, thus your need to charge them for choosing not to go with your company. #YouKeepOnScamming!

I've had Apollo out to my house twice in the past several months for minor plumbing jobs. They have showed up on time, bid the job accurately and executed professionally. If you are looking for a local plumber that will get the job done right and within budget - look no further. In addition, on my most recent job - Victor was especially excellent at educating me on why the faucet that I needed repairs on had broken in the first place. 5 stars!
We had a drain back up 10:30 on a Sunday night. The dispatch and tech couldn't have been more helpful. Tim, the dispatcher was kind and understanding even called me back to say the tech was on his way. Cameron the tech came right out. He went above and beyond to finish the job staying until 3 o'clock in the morning. Afterward, he called me back with an update. He was super helpful and even suggested some fixes. I recommend Apollo for any drain issues at all. These guys are great!
My name is Joseph and have been using their commercial service for quite some time for LW, Tyler is very professional and always on time when there is a services needed. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing commercial or residential plumbing work.
Whatever you do not sign up for their reoccurring service. $200 to cancel!
Will not be using them again
$147 later and no closer to A fixed drain only the big mess the plumber left behind. After he charged me plumber rates $95 per hour he told me they need to get A plumber to unblock my bathtub drain.
They were great! I'm in the process of selling my house and during the inspection they found a water leak in the master shower. I called Apollo and they got me in next day when most companies were booked weeks out.
Brenton was very professional and was able to diagnose and repair the issue in a timely manner

Just terrible. Complete incompetence. During our home inspection sewer scope, they got their camera suck 5ft into the sewer line. We waited almost six hours to only have them lose their camera in the sewer line! So they then needed to cut a section of the sewer pipe out to retrieve their camera. The WORST part was that TWICE they said they were going to be out to get their camera out but never showed. THIS CAUSED US TO CLOSE OUR HOUSE LATE!!!! Since we couldn't move forward in repairs because of this. My realtor had to threaten to sue them to get them to finally do it. They even tried to have us pay for something that was their fault, by saying the pipe was degraded was why it got stuck. Well we got Roto Rooter (with a licensed plumber) come out and they were able to scope 50 ft before the stupid camera stopped then from going any farther. My husband asked around (he does commercial building accounting) and found out they were the worst company around to use. My realtor also will not be using then again for good reason. They may be cheap but it's not worth the head ache.

We have a long story with Apollo. It started with a sewer repair in 2003 that we found hadn't had the permits cleared when we sold our home in a recent title search.
Apollo did the work and it seemed satisfactory at the time (other than the missed permit process)
Fast forward to now, and the new buyer's inspection revealed a problem with the line that would require repair.
I contacted multiple providers and included Apollo in the bid process.
After having the line scoped a couple of times, Apollo came back with the best bid, (and most honest) and because it was a line they installed 13 years ago, they made sure the bid was very competitive.
2 days later, line repaired, permit cleared and the area was cleaned up very well.
They stood behind their work when they didn't have to.

great experience and I especially appreciated the thoroughness of the agent's review of my present system and what my options were. the offer was the most competitive of four bids.
Wayne and Chris showed up on time at the beginning of the time slot I was told. They were professional with masks and booties. Wayne was very clear in his communication about the procedure and cost. He fixed my clogged tub in 20 minutes and cleaned up. I had Roto Rooter come out the day before and they quoted me $358 to fix since they charge per job. Apollo was half the cost!!! I will use Wayne and Apollo again for future plumbing needs. Highly Recommend. The dispatch women was also very courteous and professional unlike the other place.

Did not use them. They required a fee just to come to the house, then a fee if I decided not to use them... then they wanted my credit card??? Don't think so. They apparently don't trust me. How could I trust them???
As you might expect if you're going to have a sink fail it's going to fail in between Christmas and New years, so I had no expectation of being able to get somebody to come out and take care of it until after the New Year. To my surprise not only could Apollo come before the new year but they actually showed up the next day, this was not an emergency so that was a pleasant surprise.
Tyler the service person was pleasant, knowledgeable and got the job done on time and on budget which given this kind of service is pretty much all you can ask for.
Even though this was a single experience I would still highly recommend these people especially Tyler.
Adding another 5 star review. These guys deserve it. We had an amazing experience with Nick and decided to use the same company for sewer scoping. Devin, the drain and scoping specialist, blew us away with his customer service. He made sure we had the best possible care for what we actually needed! We have been so pleased by both jobs and we feel like the company took good care of our home. Nick and Devin, thank you so much!
We had to replace the plumbing in and under our basement -- from the kitchen and laundry plumbing out to the driveway. (Through two rooms...) This was a project we knew was coming but were dreading because of the disruption and cost. That said, when we began working with Apollo, we found the experience to be smoother and better than expected. Mike Johnston was the lead plumber for the project and was terrific to work with. I was pretty nervous the first day and he assured me it was something they did each and every week. Mike was prompt and efficient and communicated effectively throughout the project. His team was excellent, as well. Because our house is more than 100 years old, home improvement projects rarely are best case scenario --- but this one was!
Adam was great! Very polite, efficient, and really quiet while we worked in a busy office. Thanks Adam!
Drain pipe broke under kitchen sink on a Saturday afternoon. Not something I could fix myself. Called Apollo and they sent a plumber out right away. The guy arrived in 30 minutes, fixed the problem, and was a nice guy besides.
Horrible customer service. The owner must not care how his business is being run. Many other companies to choose from that want the business. DONT call Apollo
I must have Trau help at a very busy time. Apollo was not able to help with my water heater--but they did keep me informed with daily calls.
I appreciate their good communications, even though their crews were busy.
Still 1
Got 3 additional bids $12,000 to 15 000
Apollo 24 000 and charged for estimate 420
Also they apparently ran so much water it made the sewer look bad. The 3 other plumbers said it was fine.
Now have to spend unnecessary money to satisfy buyer because of the huge money scare.
I don't need the company to reply as I have read many complaints and they are all answered the same.

We absolutely loved Apollo. We had amazing customer service when we called in and from everyone that came out to our house. They were really accommodating to our situation and went above and beyond with the job. They seem like good people and we were happy to support them.
Our tech was prepared (N95 mask, booties), on time and knowledgeable. He kept us informed as he worked through our main line clog and cleared everything out in about 2 hours. I think their fees were among the lowest quoted. Definitely recommend Jerry and Apollo.

First, the initial appointment the plumber never showed up. After waiting during the 4 hour window, I called and they apologized and scheduled it for the following day. The following day the plumber came with 15 minutes remaining int he 4 hour window. I showed him the 2 faucets and the kitchen pipe that needed replacement due to the home inspection and what the buyer requested. The plumber from apollo typed things into his tablet and told me it would be $1550 for the 3 items. I asked how long it would take and he said about 2 hours. so basically wanted to charge me $775 an hour? When I asked why so high, he goes that's what the system is telling me it's going to take. What a BS!
I called a different plumbing company and they did all of the items for less than $400. I have used plenty of plumbing companies home as I have flipped some homes but this by far is the biggest scam. I can't even imagine what they do to elderly folks. Someone needs to look into their business practices.

I could NOT be happier with the service I have received this far from Apollo Drain! I needed to have some pipes scoped before buying new toilets so I called Apollo based on their excellent reviews. I spoke with Abby who was awesome and provided excellent service setting up my account. She was wonderfully kind, professional, knowledgeable, and patiently answered every question I had. The techs were scheduled to come out two days after the phone call (wow so fast!) at 8am.
The techs arrived promptly this morning wearing appropriate PPE and we incredibly professional and kind. They answered all of my questions before they began working, made sure I was aware of the expected cost, and then started working. When they finished scoping they showed me where they scoped, and informed me a film would be provided with my invoice. We were wrapping up when the tech mentioned that, since we are getting new toilets, Apollo could order and install the toilets for me. I was pleasantly surprised they could offer so many services so I asked to have a rep follow up with me with a bid. I'm expecting a call from them today or tomorrow and I received my finalized paperwork and invoice within an hour of the techs leaving.
All around it was such a pleasant experience and I will be recommending Apollo to anyone who asks.
So I needed my sewer line scoped and located. Took an hour so minimum charge. He gave several locate points, video on the scope and the locate was within just a couple inches. Thanks guys good job and thanks Tyler.

We had a plumbing issue over the 4th of July and lost hot water to our house. I called Apollo Plumbing and they scheduled service for the next day. Over the phone they told me their hourly rates and then gave me a window for when I could expect the plumber to arrive. About 15 minutes before our technician's arrival Apollo sent me a text with a photo of our plumber saying he was on his way. (He had already called and said he was less than 30 minutes away.) We were so impressed with Rocky's professionalism and efficiency in fixing our problem. He was courteous, polite, and technically excellent.
We highly recommend Apollo.

Do not call them if you need to take time off from work to wait for them. We had set up an appointment a week in advance. Took the day off, called in the morning to confirm. They were suppose to be out between 8am - noon. At 12:15pm I called to inquire if they were running late. They told me they called around 10am three times on both numbers and couldn't reach me so they had to moved on. We were home the whole time. Check both the home phone and cell phone, no messages and no missed calls on either phone.
They just kept saying they had a log of the calls. But they couldn't show me the logs or have a explaination for no messages . And they could reschedule it for tomorrow. So we pass and will call someone else that can keep their appointments without the hassle.
Were able to come the next day, was honest and willing to take the time to walk us through treatment/fix details and provided longer term maintenance suggestions - to address a reoccurring clog in our shower drain.
Only bummers - 1) the guy that came out typically serves Vanc and not PDX/Gresham 2) business cards don't include the individuals direct phone#. We were hoping to find a great plumber to build a relationship with - especially in light of the hit and miss reviews for Apollo. Being able to contact him directly - i.e. allowing plumbers to build relationships for your company may be a good thing to build loyalty.

There is something seriously wrong with this business. I've used them before but no more!
We had an appointment for them to come during a four hour window (which might be the industry standard, but we have to work, too!) and not only was there no plumber, they did not even call.
After four, we rescheduled for another day. 10-2 window this time. Again, no plumber and no call.
They lost me and my six properties as a customer.
Apollo Drain has helped me out a number of times at the properties I manage. They have been prompt, courteous and have gone the extra mile to make sure things were done right and kept within budget. I'd like to specifically thank Austin for his attention to detail and assistance!

I had a plumbing company come to my house 12/07/17 and they told me the main cast iron sewer line needed replaced so I decided to get a 2nd opinions my son recommended Apollo and they arrived Thursday and fixed the problem an hour and a half. They also scoped the system for any future problems all the way to the street sewer line to make sure there were no other future problems. The guys from Apollo recommended that I hire someone to clean up the crawlspace for a little spill that needed to be cleaned up. They not only recommended a company but they also made arrangements for them to call me to set up the very next day for the cleanup. If I could give these guys 10 stars for their honesty and integrity I would. I'm in the closely related business and would recommend these guys for the care they took of my home in honesty. Thanks Apollo. Alan S
I am a new landlord and am renting out my house for the first time. I recently was told that I had a leak in the basement and I asked for a few plumbers to come out and give me quotes. Johnathon from Apollo just called to tell me that the leak was likely from water pooling in the bathroom upstairs, probably from water splashing over the side of the tub. He checked all possible leak sites including toilet, sink, bathtub and could not reproduce the leak. He did not charge me for the assessment. The two other companies I used wanted to charge me between $500 and $3000 dollars to tear up my bathroom and replace pipes, tiling, sinks etc. Thank you SO MUCH to Johnathon and Apollo for saving me money and a huge headache. I will use them again for any further plumbing issues I have and will recommend them to everyone I know.
Failure with another company was our luck finding this company. Easy, clean and professional experience. The drains outside are running clear and free and no broken pipes like the last company stated.
This review is long overdue...I am a real estate agent and had Nick at Apollo Plumbing come out to a home that had a couple of toilet/plumbing issues. He was knowledgeable, very informative and fixed both issues quickly. Thanks Apollo and Nick ;)

Apollo scoped the sewer on a house we're trying to purchase and told us there was root intrusion. We watched the video, and I kid you not, there wasn't a single root in the piping. Our broker decided to have a second scope by another company that *only* scopes and doesn't do repairs, and they confirmed there was no intrusion and that what Apollo claimed was intrusion was only tube worm deposits (gross, but not a concern). Not a trustworthy company, in my opinion.

I had an excellent experience with Apollo Plumbing from the first call to the completed project. I needed a new bathroom vanity and hardware installed. I called around Portland and could find no plumbers who were even willing to provide an estimate within a two week period let alone work on the project --- except Apollo Plumbing who when I explained the situation made an effort to schedule appointment as soon as possible. The customer service was off the charts good.
Apollo sent journeyman plumber Bryan Haberlach who was very knowledgeable, skilled, and professional. He expertly completed the project the same day, and contacted me later that day to make certain I was satisfied with finished project. The finished project was beautifully and expertly completed---even the installation of the granite. The cost charged by Apollo was very reasonable.
I highly recommend Apollo Plumbing.

I gotta say, Apollo Drain & Rooter Service took care of my problem and the customer service was unmatched. I got nothing but knowledgable, focused work from Jerry Bales who kept me in the loop with what was happening and found the best way to deal with the issue. Really good people!

Anthony Valdez was the star at my house today. He must be a Ninja plumber. Quite and stealthy.
We had an appointment with a window of 4 hours....normal, no problem. After 4 hours they called and said they had to reschedule. We did, after 4 hours they called and wanted to change the time so more wait time. We said no....bad service!!
Company contacted me after yelp review saying we had no appointment implying i had the wrong company. There are many Apollo companies out there but I verified This is the company that I reviewed and had poor service with.

I'm purchasing a 110 year old historic home and hired this company to do a sewer scope. The person that did it was very informative while he was there. We were told the scope stopped at 10 feet due to a clog/sludge. He told us there had been a previous break in the line and that the line is very fragile and will need to be completely replaced and will not even tolerate a water jet procedure due to the current condition of the line. He took photos and a video. However, when we got the report none of that information was included in the report. The actual report was two or three sentences and the only thing it said was that he took photos, our realtor was present, and that there was a clog. He didn't even send the photos or video! We had to extend our 10 day due diligence period to get the full report, which sellers were not happy about. I called the company to request an addendum to the report and was told that once it is submitted they cannot change it. My realtor was able to get the guy to commit to sending the video (which showed a clog at 8 feet NOT 10 feet) and he said he'd write up another report. It's been 5 days and still NO report. We have to have our new offer in by 6 PM tonight and still haven't heard from anyone despite multiple voicemails.
Do yourself a favor and hire another company!!

Updating:
After I posted yesterday's review update, Mario replied once again to my email thread and I accepted their offer of a slightly higher nominal credit off of the total job price. Paid, and settled.
1/5/23
Unfortunately, I am back to share the update relating to Apollo's service. No member of Apollo's management team contacted me in an attempt to resolve the matter. I was forced to work with Mario, the rep that lied to us during the sales process.
When Mario and team were in my house on Wednesday 1/4, Mario admitted to not understanding how fan speeds work on the unit that was sold to us. I suggested that maybe we could accept the unit that had been installed if a credit was issued. Mario and Antonio assured me that the team would be in touch that afternoon.
I received an email at 5:30pm today, accusing me of coercing the company for additional items, and a $500 check mailed back to me, after I pay for the rest of our $18000 job. I don't trust them.
The immaturity in their response, and lack of attention (or any reply) from management demonstrated that this company cannot be trusted with a large project nor resolving any customer service issues.
With the record low temperatures and high winds yesterday and today, we had our cold water feed freeze going to our kitchen sink and upstairs bathroom on the east side of our house. We called several plumbing companies but Apollo was the only one that was able to come out the same day. Jason Fischer was the representative that, came out. He called us and let us know he would be at our home in about 15 minutes and he showed up right when he said he would. Was very pleasant, asked us several questions to be able to better take care of our problem. He went under our house and found our insulation under the house where the cold water goes into our kitchen area had come loose and it was right next to the crawl space bent facing east. He was kind enough to pit the insulation back in place and then made several recommendations of what we could do to thaw the pipe. He could do anything since it was a plastic pipe. We did what he recommended and in about 3 hours it thawed and we have cold water AND most importantly, no broken pipe! We highly recommend Apollo and Jason. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Appreciate the response. Doesn't excuse the behavior Darlene. Still not calling you next tiime or referring you.
Great experience, efficient service, polite friendly plumber. Will definitely use again if needed.

Our old house had slow flowing drains (we've had it for just over a year but it is 1940's)....so much so we had a small basement drain flood when family was in town. Lovely :(
Apollo was really responsive and has great prices compared to others.
All I can say is HOLY SLUDGEY PIPE! Chris Brough was super friendly and imformative and had the problem jet cleaned away within an hour. He gave us plenty of maintenance tips to prevent a build-up like that in the future.
Yay Apollo! We found our new go-to guys.

Very poor customer service and scheduling. They came out a few months ago and gave us a quote. We decided to wait a while since the quote was very high and it wasn't an emergency, being a bathroom we don't use much. We needed to get the job done, due to company coming and had it scheduled for today between 8 and 12. When I didn't get a confirmation call, I decided to call just after 8 and was told I wasn't on the schedule and that they wouldn't have scheduled since I hadn't signed the contract. Basically said I was lying. I gave her the date that I called and suggested they listen to my call since they are all recorded. The day I decided to schedule, I called and was told her computer was acting up and the other two were on phone calls and that as soon as they were off the phone, she would have them call me to schedule. Nobody called and I ended up calling back the next day to be told that that was weird and they would never not return a call. That should have been a red flag. I should have read reviews to begin with and not wasted my time with this company.

So my management company had Apollo come out bc I made a maintenance request for my slow draining bathtub. They came out the same day, and found that my clog was deeper down my drain line and was affecting mine and my neighbors units. The job required 2 men and a lot of coordination between our building and Apollo. They did an amazing job and communicated very well, the issue at hand and what it took to resolve. Shout out to Jason the plumber for handling my drain/plumbing issue respectfully and professionally.

I just want to give a HUGE shout out to Aaron and the whole team at Apollo. When my upstairs bathtub started to leak and come through the downstairs ceiling I thought the worst and honestly how much is this going to cost me :-( This was not a DIY kind of project I wanted to take on and when dealing with trade specialist you hope they have your wallet and best interest in mind as they are typically the only ones that know what to do for us simple DIY'ers. Arron and team Apollo were quick to respond, extremely professional and able to fix what I thought would break the bank in a matter of an hour. No cutting walls, no huge bill just got the job done. Again, THANK YOU Aaron and all of you at Apollo.
I don't think customer service is their strong suit. We hired them to do a job over the summer and the phone representative said they would be here by the end of the day. They never made it that day. A supervisor came out the next day after I waited quite a while for him, naturally after I took off for work. With the amount of wages I lost from work from leaving early I could have paid for the job with that money. We asked them to come over again two months later for another job. We made an appt and I expected them here at my house so naturally I didn't check my cell phone. The phone rep called and said they were confirming a time that we had already agreed upon the day before and since I didn't pick up the phone she sent him to Lake Oswego. The rep., Kara, said she would call me the next day to set something up. I never heard from her. My wife called Kara twice and could never get in contact with her. I think their work is good but they have some very weak links in their customer service dept that has cost me a few hours....which means money.

We had Apollo out multiple times to scope our sewer, drain lines, and install a cleanout. Overall, the techs are courteous, competent, and service was always scheduled quickly. Each tech gives the annoying marketing pitch for other services and annual memberships which seems as awkward for the techs as it is for the customer. Their prices are higher than other plumbing services, a big part of which is the timeliness of service, so Apollo is a good choice in an emergency. For non-emergency work, it's probably worth it to shop around and find a plumber that will give a free estimate.
When our A/C went out during a heat wave, we contacted Apollo to schedule a visit. Their earliest availability was two weeks out. So, yesterday was our appointment, the technician was nice enough, however, not very familiar with our old equipment. He made an attempt to repair it, but frankly, he did not have the knowledge to repair it. In fact, he shorted and killed my $169 dollar Honeywell thermostat. Instead of telling me how much to repair it, the technician kept saying how I shouldn't put money into repairing it, I should put in a new system, he later told my wife a new system was only $14,000 dollars. He then said he would only charge me the $129 just for coming out (not mentioning the $169 my thermostat cost). I attempted to contact the company twice before they finally called back. I explained the situation to the manager (who offered to refund the $129, not offering anything for the thermostat they ruined, I replied I wanted it fixed) he said they would schedule a senior technician to come and look at it. I was called later that day and told that the earliest appointment was more than two weeks out. I replied that was not acceptable as we had already waited two weeks for the initial appointment. I was told the manager would call...Well so far, no call...We went with Apollo based on reviews from customers...I believe their good reviews are biased, based on receiving a text from them today saying if I left a 5 star review, I would be entered into a drawing for $100 dollars. If you are having A/C issues, this is not the company you should call if you want good customer service, and someone just looking to upsell you.
The technician (not a licensed plumber as far as I could tell) they sent out was nice enough and eventually did an adequate job, but their charges were ridiculous. It worked out to about $500/hour! Since we bundled two simple jobs with one of unknown complexity the initial estimate seemed plausible. The potentially complex job ended up being fairly simple too, but they stuck to their billing and we got taken badly. Avoid this outfit!
We've been very happy with every service we've used Apollo for, from plumbing repair to heating and cooling inspections and repairs. Most recently we thoroughly appreciate Tristan's persistence in working to get our air conditioner functioning again.

We had Victor come out and replace a leaky waste and waterflow in the bathtub in one of our units. He was quick, timely and he treated resident and manager with kindness and gave thorough information about what was going to be done. We are pleased to have Apollo Drain & Rooter Service take care of our plumbing.
Apollo did great work for us on a Sunday!
We had flooding in a downstairs bathroom and were unable to diagnose whether we had a water leak or sewage back up. Ben (a plumber) arrived on schedule and quickly determined that we had a blockage and sent for Lonny (a drain technician).
Lonny unclogged the main line very quickly, so I had him unclog a separate downspout line too. He suggested use of the camera to make certain there were not any problems, but the drain was working with all the water in the house running, so I declined. (Plumbing on Sunday is not inexpensive no matter you use, so I thought I would save a few dollars.--Not my best call.)
We had a clog again the next morning. Lonny came out first thing, and scoped our whole line. He found the roots with the camera right away and found some other issues too. He used the high-pressure hose to remove the roots. We are very pleased with the results.
We will use Apollo again when we deal with the other issues.
Update from previous review, there were technical difficulties in getting our service work completed in that a piece of equipment they used had broken on a previous job. They knew we were upset, and did not want to wait the time for the parts to come in from Europe. They borrowed (hired as a sub-contractor) another company to get access to the equipment needed to complete our plumbing job, which they did, working from 7:00AM to nearly 7:00PM to get it finished. My drains are now flowing.

As a Realtor, Apollo Drain & Rooter is the first call we make when setting up inspections for our buyers who are under contract on a property.
Apollo does a great job scheduling and communicating with both me as the realtor and my clients. Their customer service and follow up are on point. Plus, their CIPP is a wonderful product that has saved our clients a lot of $$$
I had originally contacted Apollo because I feared I had a pipe under my basement slab that was too far gone to fix and I was hoping it could be relined via CIPP rather than cut up my slab, year my steps out, and dig up the basement. I set an appointment to have the pipe scoped.
When Russel arrived, he immediately let me know that he believed what I actually needed was a good jet cleaning and that he would stand behind his assessment. Rather than run the scope and find out that he was right, and have to pay for both services, I took his word for it and we proceeded.
He showed me a 5 gallon bucket of sludge and hard buildup that came out of the 20' of 2 pipe. And that's just what came out of the clean out.
We then ran two faucets for 10-15 minutes while he cleaned up. Never had any back-up when we used to have it back-up in short order.
He cleaned up, I signed off, and he went his merry way. All told, an hour and a half and a fair price, and a tech that went above and beyond to fix my problem with a professional enough attitude that I trusted he wanted nothing more than to make sure I didn't spend money I didn't need to.
Thank you Russel. Thank you Apollo. Two thumbs up!

I had a very small leak in the elbow of a PEX water line to a faucet that was replaced. I asked them if this was too small a job to be interested in. They said no. And since I had done the investigation and even sent a photo they said it would be a small job which could be as little as under $200 and they would waive the $75 service call which is usually needed to size the job.
Two jokers showed up, didn't show any interest or knowledge about the fix. They did try to sell me on their service club (complete with brochure) and then gave me their $750 estimate saying the job was less than an hour effort. And after I declined they pressed for the $75 minimum fee.
I decided to do it myself. $20 parts plus $40 in tools, 60 minutes (including a second trip to home depot).
Worst experience I have ever had with a vendor. These guys should be reprimanded and given some basic training.
Our house was in the low 50's due to a failed furnace on a Sunday afternoon with snow on the ground. Tristan came out and was very pleasant and efficient. Unfortunately he had to order a part and couldn't fix it that night but communicated very well and was so nice in trying to get us warmed up as soon as possible. I would definitely use Apollo again due to how competent and hard working that Tristan was.
Apollo is great, and Tyler is the man. We had him out to scope the house's line to the city's as a pre-purchase inspection step, and he treated us like friends, giving us the DL on various aspects of the repair process that would save us money and protect us from unnecessary hassle. 10/10 would scope again.
A sewer scope was scheduled and unfortunately the technician who came out could not remove the clean out cap. He indicated that it would need to be chiseled out and a new cap. He said our cap was special size and would need to be ordered. Another technician was sent Saturday and we assumed the information from the first technician had been shared and he was there to fix the problem. Not the case. The 2nd technician banged on our clean out so had that he cracked it. He told us he had to stop or he was afraid it would break off. He tapped up the pipe and threw a bucket underneath and said it should be fine. Guess what? It wasn't and it was leaking...this company was selected by the buying agent but our realtor had to call and get them to come out a 3rd time to fix the problem. Initially we were told the manager was out on a family emergency and there was no one who could solve the problem. NOT OK when the company caused the leaks. NO LEAKS PRIOR TO THEM ENTERING OUR HOME. Long in short our realtor got them to send a THIRD technician out. The 3rd technician ultimately corrected the issue BUT he to was not informed of what had been going on the last 2 visits and he was not happy. This company has terrible communication within their business and between their workers. I feel bad for them. I would not recommend this company.
Lonny showed up at my house at 5:45pm on a Sunday (30 minutes after I called) and spent 30 minutes trying to drill a hole into a plastic orange slice to pull it out of my toilet. With his patience and diligence he got the stupid orange slice out of the toilet. He is my hero and I'm now able to use my bathroom. Thanks Lonny :)

Absolute scammers!! Needed a garbage disposal replaced and a small bathroom faucet replaced and the first words out of the plumbers mouth was him asking if we wanted a 'membership'. Then went on to quote 1500!!!! (The parts were 250. ) We paid the 75 bucks for him to try to scam us and will never call them again. Beware everyone!

Zach always shows up on time and does professional work. He replaced a sink, redid all the pipes and made it look 100% better. He also repaired the shower drain as well. Very reliable.
Another great service experience from Apollo. Their entire service process from scheduling an appointment to after service documentation is outstanding. Their service technicians are professional and courteous. A special shoutout to Brandon C.
Scheduled an appointment from 10-12. (Took the day off work to meet them.) I called later to confirm pricing and was told that I wasn't scheduled. What!!?? They called me the next morning to say they could make it from 11-1. Fine. Next day at 1:30 they called and said they were on the way. (Great... even though they were going to be 45 minutes late.) Then I got a call and said there was an emergency and they wouldn't be able to make it until the following day.
No thank you. They never apologized and basically wasted my day. Read the other reviews. Their scheduling is awful and they will waste your time.
I just had the most amazing service call experience I have ever encountered with a home repair company (and I live in an older home so I have had several lately)! This morning we discovered we had a massive leak under our kitchen sink. We have an infant and so not being able to use the kitchen would have made matters especially challenging. I called Apollo and their customer service representative was so sweet that she was able to rearrange the schedule so I could get a same day appointment! Not only that, my service man Justus called within a half an hour of my initial call to let me know he was on his way. He was friendly, professional, knew exactly how to fix the problem not to mention very COVID conscious which I very much appreciated. Justus had my sink fixed in no time. Apollo had my problem solved within an hour of me discovering the problem. Thank you very much, your team is amazing!

Project: sewer scope. The Apollo technician, Rudy, knew his stuff. He was punctual, professional, and did an excellent job. He was able to use equipment to find my sewer lines so we'd be able to put in a scope pipe for later and wouldn't have to pull the toilet again. Did what he needed to and provided a detailed report. Thanks guys... I may use you in the future, but to be honest, I feel some trepidation due to some of these reviews. While I understand that jobs can sometimes go longer than intended, it's really better to UNDER-BOOK your techs than to OVER-BOOK them. Is it really worth the negative reviews to make people wait three, four, or five hours---only to tell them at the end of that waiting period that they must wait ANOTHER DAY? Me thinks not... so even though I have had a good experience, I'm fearful that the negative reviews are true, and that is really too bad.
The company was prompt. The plumbers were courteous and neat. The work came in under the estimate and under my personal estimate. I would definitely use their service again.
I have HomeServe home warranty that covers water supply and drain plumbing failures. We had a leak on our water main in March. Apollo Drain bid for and was awarded the job and from the start there were problems getting HomeServe and Apollo to get approvals when the work crew showed up. We ended up putting in a new supply line which HomeServe paid Apollo $3200. The plumbers that did the work did a very good job. The problem with Apollo is the Billing dept. When I asked for an electronic copy of the work order between HomeServe and Apollo for City requirements, two weeks later I was e-mailed a contract from Apollo wanting half of the money now and half upon completion? What? It was like even after accepting the work offer from HomeServe, Apollo seemed to forget that HomeServe was the bill to and wanted to always send us a bill. Well, here's the Postscript to this story. Today, October 28th, 2014 I received an invoice dated 3/21/2014 for a $48.00 travel charge, and a notice from a Collection company on behalf of Apollo Drain for $75.00. Here Apollo was paid by HomeServe $3200 for a day's work and now 7 monhs later they send me a bill for $48.00 plus $4.32 interest along with a notice from a collection company.
My question to you the people that run Apollo is What is going on?
The response I got was the invoices and statements have gone out. Well, I know that! My input was the information on your invoices is wrong. Seems the person I talked to went into a tailspin after that. Since the person I talked to felt that I was cutting her off in our phone conversation but when I gave her the chance to speak and she didn't have anything to say. Well, here's your chance.
Also, when your billing person hung up on me I was quietly waiting on the phone thinking she was doing something on her computer and the line goes dead. Is it standard practice at Apollo to hang up on your customers?
Since the people at Apollo feel threatened by my phone presence, perhaps they can respond in a public forum where the big, bad customer guy won't be so mean.
Ok, you're up.
When I stay home for a plumber I expect my problem to be fixed. Apollo Plumbing doesn't seem to agree. I wouldn't use them again.

Calling Apollo to schedule the appointment was easy. Michael arrived exactly on time and on the dot. He explained exactly why the valve was leaking and took the time to explain how to do it correctly. Michael completed the work on time and very professionally. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and customer service!
We had a major water leak occur while out of town. Our neighbor first reported it and was able to go out to our main and turn off the water. We asked a friend with plumbing background but not licensed if they could diagnose the problem. He indicated he could tell the leak was near the main line because when the main turned on they immediately could see water bubbling up from the ground and filling the main box but wasn't sure without digging it up. Because we knew he wasn't licensed we called a number of plumbers listed on Yelp.
Apollo was the first one to respond over the weekend with someone available the following Tuesday to head out. From our ring camera we could see Apollo show up, took a few photos and then sat in there truck and wrote up a few estimates. Never did it appear they try and do any real investigative work. I was informed by the tech Jordy that because water takes path of least resistance and was underground they had no idea where the leak may be (though I provided the information from our non licensed plumber friend that it most likely was within a foot of two of the main. He went on to give me the following quotes.
1.) $3727 including residential leak detection AND if we signed up for a monthly membership of $19.99 required for one year (or $199 for early cancellation)
2.)$5700 for not performing leak detection AND if we signed up for a monthly membership of $19.99 required monthly for one year (or $199 early cancellation) for one M off pvc repair with the risk it could be more if they didn't find it within the one M.
3.) $10,147 for replacing the water line from the meter to the house. The wire indicates my crawl space was flooded with water however they never inspected our crawl space.
I was then charged $75 for the visit and quotes in which I was given no additional information than I had already given.
Because I was out of town and couldn't dig up the line myself I chose to hire my own leak detection agency which cost approximately $350. They found the leak within minutes which essentially was a foot away where the irrigation and house line T'd. The leak detection even had the line dug up and exposed in fifteen minutes based on the water bubbling and filling the box so quickly.
From there I hired another plumber who replaced the T and got water back on with less than sam hours work. Total cost was less than $900 (with Leah detection and plumber work. That means Apollo was nearly $3000 over what it should have been quoted or nearly 4x more.
I am disappointed with Apollo for charging $75 for their consultation, not providing any additional info to the situation and trying to gouge us. It really felt as if they were trying to use the circumstances of us being out of town to take advantage of the situation and going as far as making up or crawl space has been flooded.

Just bought a house that had some shoddy work done in the past and Don was able to immediately get hot water flowing in the shower and replace a wax seal on a toilet to fix the leak. He also looked over two other concerns with me and let me know that I probably shouldn't/couldn't address them today and when would be a good time to fix them (when replacing siding, when doing roof work, etc.) I appreciated his honesty in not taking on something that could lead to a bigger problem. He did arrive two hours earlier than the window they'd given me, which had me scrambling a little but was overall appreciated. I'm happy to have it all fixed so quickly!
Thanks Apollo for getting to the bottom of our nasty plumbing problem. Great people to work with and the crews are the best. This was a difficult repair and was multi step but everyone hung in there. We have used Apollo for a long time- we were one of Scott's first customers and whether it's one of our old buildings, semi old or new these are the go to people. Thanks again

My bathroom undermount sink came detached. Apollo Service was quick to respond with available dates and times. Abby was very kind on the phone while scheduling the appointment. I was given a 30 minute warning period before Aaron arrived. Aaron was progressional and wore a mask and gloves. He reattached the sink in under an hour! Very happy with the service!

See 128 reviews that are NOT recommended first (at the very bottom). You'll see that more people gave zero stars than people who rated them with stars (96 reviews). These zero stars don't get aggregated into the reviews that were given stars. So their total 3.5 star rating is misleading and should actually be about 1.5 stars.
CUSTOMER SERVICE is INCONSISTENT and NOT TRANSPARENT. I should've read all the bad reviews, because at least all the bad reviews are consistent--particulary the bad reviews about scheduling.
What's the point of scheduling if they don't show up when they're scheduled to? I made time for the date and time we agreed upon, and just happened to miss the contractor's initial call on the day of by 13 minutes and was bumped from the schedule. Every contractor I've ever scheduled with would just give a courtesy call that they were on their way because we agreed on a date and time. If you must make contact with a client before heading out to their home, then at least tell/prompt the client the time you are planning to call them on the day of service so they don't miss your call--since you have to operate by getting in touch with the client first.
Update for Karen's response: If the protocol is to call 30 mintues ahead of time, then I should have received a call at 9:30am instead of 8:52am and 9:00am--rather than being bumped off the schedule when I called back at 9:05am. They set up a time frame for 10am-2pm. The time frame they set up with you is pretty much pointless.
Also, they don't have a system in place to send electronic reminders for appointments; so if you want a company that operates with modern software, then move on and find a different company. Maybe that would solve their problem with customers who are not home or forget about their appointments.
Does not seem like they are striving to improve their customer service cause I'm seeing reviews from years ago with the same problem I experienced.
Have been using Apollo for several years and had good service. Had them come last week to replace a valve cartridge and trim kit/spout in the same bathroom. Was expecting maybe 200.00 to 300.00. Well apparently they have changed their pricing model from hourly to per job. Imagine my shock when he quoted me 1000.00 for what was about 30-45 minute job. If you want quality work and aren't worried about price or even ethical business pricing... Then Apollo is your plumber. Unfortunately they have lost me as a customer.
Angel came out to service a plumbing problem at my parents house. The location of the problem was tight and required some tedious sawzall cutting, but Angel took it in stride and was persistent in getting a result. All said, he did a great job. He was personable and professional.
If not for the poor communication with the office staff regarding scheduling and the status of service, I would have given five stars.
Apollo Drain & Rooter Service responds quickly when you have a 911 plumbing issue. They are efficient and extremely friendly! Go to Apollo for all your Plumbing needs.

We love Apollo! Fast, professional, we couldn't be happier. They have done so many repairs for us, I can't remember them all. They split the plumbing for one of our bathrooms, to change from a single to a double vanity, installed a new pan under our washer, changed out plastic valves for metal valves in 3 barhrooms, installed new garbage disposal, fixed a hot water issue we were having with 2 showers....Thank you, Apollo! And Jordy is a super star...a wealth of knowledge.
Apollo is AMAZING!! A waterline in my basement sprung a leak, and my basement full of music equipment was quickly turning into the Columbia River! They came right out and to the rescue. I forget the guys name ( I think John or Joe maybe ) but he even helped me get my drum set and amp out as well. I highly recommend these guys.

I needed to have a hot water heater replaced. Travis quickly found and bought the right one, installed it and removed the bad heater. Getting the heater down a flight of narrow steps was very difficult but he did it well and with good humor. Would not hesitate to recommend.
We are having an issue with our toilet fill valve and flapper. This is total of $20 in parts. They quoted $1,600 to fix the valve. They would replace the flapper for $833, this is a $5 part and 30 second replacement! I could get a new toilet for 90% less then this. We have a nice home and these guys were 100% trying to take advantage of the situation and that they were dealing with a women. Stay away from this company!
I have since called multiple plumber's and I can get a new toilet installed if I choose for about 90% less then these guys fix price. Stay away! Dishonest company who clearly have no problem with taking advantage whenever they can.
Don was great. He showed up on the early side of the time window and did the work promptly and with no difficulties. He didn't overcharge because the work was simple and straightforward. I would use Apollo again for cetain.

Zach hartman was such a respectful knowledgeable technician. He answered all my questions and provided multiple options for resolution. I would definitely recommend him
Jonathan's very thorough, but needs to come back as he can't remove a panel. Leak hasn't been repaired, but there is a plan to get it repaired, which was explained thoroughly.
I've used this company for three years. No more.
I've had a recurring problem with my shower. Each time a plumber comes out, they give me a different estimate of what's wrong with it and how much it will cost to fix it.
The previous plumber had told me that they could go up into the crawlspace and fix the problem. So, I called them to come out and do that. The guy who showed up didn't even bother to look in the crawlspace and see if he could access the problem from there; he simply told me they'd have to rip out my wall. End of discussion.
I don't think everyone at this company is a bad plumber, but I do think the quality varies. If they give you an estimate of what kind of work is involved, ASK FOR IT IN WRITING.
Kitchen clog. Fast response. Very professional, clean and courteous.
Impressed Apollo sent picture of technician before his arrival.
