I wanted to update my review on  Albert Ellis. After repairing our aging HVAC we finally decided to replace them as they were over 15 years old and at the end of their useful life. Replacing dual HVAC systems is a big investment so my husband and I decided to get a few estimates before making a final decision.

The Hutchinson sales person gave us a quote that was  $14,000 more than  Albert Ellis  for the same exact units and this was with there buy one get one promotion . This made our decision very easy. We received excellent services from the owner David Ellis and his ace technician Dan. They spent considerable time specking our the project, pulling permits and carefully  installing our units. Their attention  to detail and respect for our home was very much appreciate. They were prompt, worked a full day, wore booties and put down heavy drop clothes and really made sure they did not disturb anything in our home during the entire project.

After the project they followed up to make sure all inspections were passed with flying colors. Even the inspector commented on how well done the installation was. Dan the technician was always available when we had questions and spent time showing us how to use the new digital thermostats which have advanced technology and operate like a nest. He also filled out all of the paperwork for us to receive our state of NJ  rebates which is a refund of over $2,000.  I highly recommend using Albert Ellis for all your plumbing and HVAC. The owner is old school, cares about their customers and stand by their work. Their prices are very competitive and they offer excellent service.

another great experience!  Tyler, Bryan. all employees I spoke to or came to my home are awesome. very professional and friendly. .  my ac unit stopped working. came out same day Tyler stayed till 1030 to get my bedroom to stay cool enough to sleep there. they were even going to go out and get a window unit so I could stay in my home. they came out next day as promised, replaced my system, cleaned up after and Tyler followed up to see how things were working. the manager came out a day or 2 later to recheck everything to make sure everything was working properly   spending money on a new air conditioner is expensive but having envirosafe doing the job helps. reassurance. answered all my questions ,explained everything in detail so I understood it. what a great company.

We had an appointment for an estimate on some repairs listed from an inspection for the sale of our house. After being referred and reading the reviews, we thought this was our plumbing solution for not only our current needs with the sale of our house, but also with the new house we are moving to since it is right around the corner. The quoted price to have the estimate done was $85.

They gave us a window from 10am - 2pm to arrive and complete the estimate so my wife took off from work for this. The tech calls at 1:30pm and says he will be an hour late, maybe more. Since she knew she'd be home today, she told our high schooler she could stay late at school and would pick her up. There was no way to tell if or when they would show up, so we wouldn't be able to use them.

We called another plumber, Joseph De Steffano Jr (out of Souderton), and he gave a quote for the items we needed fixed over the phone, so I guess we found our plumber after all.

Joe has been both responsive, fast and communicates problems and solutions clearly. Compared to others on the main line, I also consider his prices competitive and fair. He will complete the work on time and as promised with a team of professionals. This is inconsistent with the general tendency of main line contractors to over charge. I will call Joe back for future plumbing needs.

My wife and I decided to replace our mini-split prior to the brutal heatwave that encompassed this summer. Chris came out and gave us what I would consider a reasonable estimate, however compared to the other HVAC services in the area, it fell within range, they showed up when they said they would and did not try to oversell me. Our house is 200 yrs old and presented some unforeseen challenges however Chris was professional and worked efficiently. Next time I require service to either the mini split or other system in my home they will be the first number I call.

Don't do business with this company. They misdiagnosed my heating issue, caused me to take several days off work and then tried to charge me for something no one told me about up front. Had to get another company to come out (Summers Quality) that correctly diagnosed the issue and took care of it quickly. After disputing the charge with the owner, he proceeded to make a claim to impact my credit.

They replaced my AC and furnace last year. They came out to assess the old unit and did a replacement the next day. Everything was done quickly which was key as summer came early and it was getting into the high 80s in May. I also needed them to come out and check my unit in the middle of a heat wave this year. I recommended them to a friend a few weeks ago and they were again prompt and reliable. Felt the need to post after seeing their low rating here. They have been professional and their costs reasonable and I would continue to recommend them.

. Our unit ceased working and upon reading the google reviews, we called Horizon to have our house assessed for the new unit.our home was evaluated by Tony Gonzalez, a 'Comfort Specialist manager' forHorizon
The following day our installation techs, Steve, and Dave, began the installation and worked into the following day. Upon completion of the installation, it was suggested we have our air ducts and vents cleaned to increase the unit's efficiency, so we scheduled the service call.
The following week, our air ducts and vents were cleaned as suggested. Almost every week we called the company with issues with the system and each time we were informed to allow another week or two before addressing the issue again with Horizon. Each time Horizon made a service call, their service did nothing to improve the situation. When they arrived for the call, we watched them and all they did was open the unit and then leave fifteen to thirty minutes later. After each service call, they again told us to give it more time. Each time they came out we were charged a service fee of $95.00.
Each time we called customer service the representative assured us they would submit a request with the billing department to send a copy via email. We have yet to receive the bill for payment, and it seems it was ignored so interest could indeed accumulate.
When the technician came we were informed that there was no power The Horizon technician, Jermaine, tried to put the blame on the electrician who came to change the lights in the basement, where the unit is located. The electrician did not touch the unit. However, the Horizon technician was standing around preferring to blame the electrician before even checking to see if there was an issue with their system. After thirty minutes left but not without charging us with another service fee.
They were unable to determine which switch the installer had assigned it to since the installation tech mislabeled it on #15, when it was revealed to be #13. After determining the issue, the electrician informed me that the issue had to do with the system not him and left. Immediately, Robert Rivera, the Horizon technician began to shift the blame back to the electrician.
Initially, Robert refused to open the fur ace just like the previous technicians. If the first technician opened it the first time, they might have been able to resolve the issue and avoided the unit burning up. It is very clear that Horizon has been giving us the runaround and at the least very unprofessional. Robert left to pick up an item and came back within fifteen minutes, he informed me that the whole unit is completely broken, and it would require a new unit and that we would have to pay out of pocket on top of the $26,000 we already owed. He stated that the smell that omitted the night before came from the unit, and it was because the whole unit was burning for whatever reason .We asked to speak with the operational managerwe spoke to Marissa, Horizon Customer Service Manager. Marissa emphasized that the removal of the unit is out of the question and that they would like to send a senior warranty technician to evaluate the whole system. we waited for the technician that Marissa scheduled to come to our residence, but they were a NO-SHOW. We called the company once more and spoke to Chris Reesey, operational manager, who claimed that he was not aware of our issues. After we summarized the issues, he stated he was not aware of our issues and that Robert Rivera was a Senior Warranty Technician and that Mr. Reesey knew our case based on his notes. He stated that there two issues: 1) electrical and 2) cooling. We disagreed and informed him that it was one issue from day one. The unit was faulty, and Horizon was persistently trying to dodge their responsibility to properly install and service the unit. It is our understanding that based on the information from Robert Rivera, they cancelled the visit for the new technician and chose not to notify us. We informed him that when Jermaine came, we discovered that their junction box did not turn the switch for the unit on but rather was for turning on the basement lights. Worst customer service ever! Our unit is still broken! Never resolved so now in process in hiring a lawyer. Please beware of this company!!!

I had an appointment for diagnostics for my 2 year old hot water heater. The service individual took a few pics and walked outside to take a phone call and   did not come for 15 minutes. I was then informed, my 15 minute appointment was done. I never received any diagnostics on the unit and was charged 122$ for the appointment. I had to call 2 times to find out the status. I was then placed on hold and told the manager was in a meeting. Waste of time and money.... I was then told due to the brand of my unit it could not be serviced by them. That could have been confirmed before they came.

We just purchased a heat pump and ac unit on Tues, for over 10k. Lasted 4 days. Pipes are all frozen We called and they can't send anyone out for another 3 days. This is after we purchased a furnace in Nov, they never added the required new piping though out and put a nick in our door. Terrible service, terrible products just like I thought.  We will have them remove the system, refund our money
and go with our old company.  So much for 24/7 service.

Allied is very efficient at selling and installing complete household systems (heating/AC, Water heater) The cost was excellent due to state-backed incentives and 0% 10 year loan as of 9/2017
HOWEVER: We have had 2 occasions to need service. No heat this winter, no AC during May 2018 heat wave. and e have never received a call back! The answering service is polite and professional, and is able to confirm techs are receiving our messages. No response! Unacceptable. My husband figured out the heat issue, but no response from company at all. At this time we have left 4 messages last night and today without response. They are great at selling. Terrible if you have a problem.
