Keith performed the testing of my backflow prevention assembly. Keith was on vacation, but he answered my call and booked the service right after getting back. He called me an hour before the scheduled time, arrived on time, and completed the testing in just 15 minutes. I recommend Keith for his professional service, excellent communication, and great value.

I have used Plumb Medic for years and recommend them to any and everyone who needs a plumber in the area. They are immediately responsive, have always been able to send someone out very quickly and I don't think I've ever had to wait a day for the repair. All the guys who I've had come out are friendly, very knowledgeable and so reliable. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Simply the best. We had a problem with our plumbing that other plumbers couldn't fix. Experience really does matter. They fixed it quickly and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend.

Recently bought a house in South Philly. I have used Mr. Tubs a couple of times for various repairs including replacing the main drainage pipe in my basement which had some slow leaks. They do an excellent job every time. Very responsive, show up on time, knowledgeable, great prices, work quickly, and clean up when they are done. Can't ask for anything more. Please give them a call!

Came right out. Cleared our stack fast. Charged reasonable rate. Explained everything clearly and felt very comfortable having them in my home to do the work. Definitely recommended.

Jeff and the entire team are extremely professional and very competent. There prices are competitive. We've had them do four jobs so far: Whole house humidification. Sump pump system advice and replacement and the gas portions of a whole house generator. We've also used them for a very simple drain cleaning.

They ALWAYS are on time, they do exactly what they say they will, they take care of your house (drop cloth's, shoe covers etc) and they do high quality work.

Had some initial difficulty getting an appointment because of an odd situation where the problem occurred while we were out of town.

Once we worked that out they came out and fixed the problem. The owner kept in touch by text message which I appreciate.

Called yesterday around noon for a water heater leaking water. I was told no one could get out yesterday but they would be in touch first thing this morning to schedule someone to come out. First thing turned into 10am when I had to call for an update. I was told someone would call by Noon to confirm when a Tech became available. Noon turned into 2:30pm when I had to call back for another update where I was told I was next and would get a call within the hour to confirm when a Tech was in route to my address. I finally received a call back from these guys at 2;45 only to be told Sorry, no one would be able to make out to my address today.
I've had it up to here...with water!!!!

Nichols Plumbing is rude and untrustworthy. They were assigned as the independent contractor by our home warranty company to come take care of our septic tank. They never called us, we left messages, for over a week. It got to the point of we needed someone to come out immediately because our septic tank was backing up into our showers & sinks & we had toilets overflowing. I contacted my home warranty company at that point and they told me Nichols couldn't come out to assist us that we needed to find someone on our own. We found Belton Septic Tank Service (910) 425-8876 through neighborhood recommendations and they helped us right away with great service and at a very reasonable cost.

I have used Masciantonio for all of  my plumbing needs and have never been disappointed.  I just had a gas line installed for my outside grill.  Rick came in gave me a quote (which was very reasonable) - he was the one who showed up to do the work as well.  He was in and out in 2 hours!  Excellent workmanship, was on time - nothing but the highest praise!

The contractor stopped by to ask if I was still pleased with the AC unit they installed a month ago. How many contractors ever do that?
The AC works fine and does a good job cooling and removing the humidity of our 100 year old house. Awesome!

I thought I could expect high quality work from Horizon Services based on my first experience. They did an apparently professional job installing a new air conditioner (I say apparently now, based to my second experience and the fact that the A/C was installed at the end of the season).
Second experience:
Two plumbers re-routed water lines and drains for our washer. They left without turning the supply on at the washer valves; so, they didn't test their work. When I turned them on, the valves were leaking. Called Horizon. A plumber came and tightened a nut. With the valves on, no leak. He did not test his work however. When I closed a valve today, the leak returned. Now, I have to wait up to 7 hours before someone will come and hopefully get this right.

I have a defective sewer lateral write up from the city. The repair job involves a lot of street digging before the pipe can be replaced. I am so glad to have found Bart Emanuel & Son for the job. Joe and his crew definitely have the experience, tools and equipment to get the job done right, and their cost is very reasonable and affordable. Highly recommended.

We bought the service plan last year.  This year when our AC was down they quoted 3 weeks before anyone could come out.  Even after repeated calls and threatening to drop their service... Kinda bitchy reception from their customer service group.  Called another company and they came within 24 hrs.  Service plan - my ass.

Knowledgeable guy and seems nice enough but he totally ripped me off knowing I'm a young homeowner. Here are the prices he charged me in case you're wondering if he's an honest businessperson:

$500 to replace a bathroom faucet
$200 to replace a shower head (I know nothing about plumbing; he could have told me I could easily do it myself)
$225 to replace a fill valve in the toilet

If you care at all about getting a fair rate, look elsewhere.
