Ryan remodeled my kitchen and did a wonderful job. I had him knock down a wall to open it to the dining room too. It changed the entire first floor. He is a perfectionist. I love it.

These guys know what they're doing and they're fair. They're probably not the lowest priced around, but they stand by their work and promptly fix any issues (for no extra charge) that may come up from a mistake made by a new guy working for them. It's nice to find a contractor I feel I can trust.

We had a backup in our sewer line, and another plumbing company was pushing us to replace our whole line, which would have cost lots of money and torn up our whole yard. We got referred to PS, and Don came over. He had his guys video the line, and they found that while the line needed to be cleaned out, it was intact and didn't need to be replaced. He recommended that we install a cleanout and do a thorough cleaning of the line. We went ahead, and we also decided to ask him to change out some old leaky plumbing. They did all of the work, at the price advertised, didn't try to upsell or nickel and dime us on minor things. Don, as well as the crew that came over with him, were all very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I strongly recommend this company for any work you need done.

Chris helped us out by installing a Aquasana house water filtration system in our basement. Before the purchase and install, he walked me through the system and the pros/cons. After deciding to purchase the system through him, I highly recommend his services! He's responsive, professional, mindful, punctual and quick.

I'm a little late in writing this review since the last work they did for me was over a year ago but since I just joined Yelp, I figure better late than never. I have used Russell Bros for several years now. The first time was when my regular plumber, let me down and left me abandoned with a broken / frozen pipe in my attic. Dennis managed to crawl over the fiberglass insulation and squeeze into a very small area to fix the pipe. I then hired him to replace my entire heater and with his help, I selected a super efficient Weil - McLean gas burner that is extremely high-tech. Dennis did a great job installing the system and my gas bill is now over 50% lower than it used to be.
Most importantly, they do the job when they say they will and they do it right. I have also found their pricing to be extremely fair. I highly recommend.

Our water heater broke the other day and leaked water all over our basement. It was after dinner and we had to scramble to find someone to come out to the house at night. We spoke with Dave at Archer & Sons and he said he could send someone over right away or they could come in the morning. Since I was able to shut the main water off, I told him he didn't need to come until the following day. In spite of that, he offered to stop by and at least check things out. He came as promised within the hour and diagnosed the problem which of course was to replace the heater. He said they would have someone come by btn. 9-11am the next morning.
Sure enough, Joe & Steve came around 9:30am. They laid down drop cloths to protect our floor and got started on the job. They were here about 3 hours. They installed a new water heater and took the old one away. They were both very nice and friendly and cleaned up after they were done.
The following day, we noticed the water pressure was a bit low. So, Joe stopped by that afternoon to check it out. All in all, everything went very smoothly. They turned what started out as a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. We were very happy with the quick response they gave to our problem, the quality of the workmanship, the positive attitude and professionalism of their staff and, would highly recommend them to anyone that needs any plumbing related services in this area! We look forward to working with them again and will be sure to recommend them to our family, friends and neighbors!

I noticed that Queens B is a fairly new company so I gave them a call when my AC broke down on 100º plus day. They arrived within a couple of hours! And fixed the problem. The guys were courteous, friendly and very professional. They lost one star with me for doing the repair without a review and approval. I appreciated that the problem was fixed but in my opinion, a company should get approval before performing the work. I will call Queen B again but next time will make clear my expectations.

I have NEVER hired anyone to do any work without seeing good reviews from at least two different sources. Until today, out of desperation, when I called this company and Eric (bless him) was able to come the same day to install a dishwasher that the scheduled installer left sitting in the middle of my kitchen (a rant for another day). My 150-yr old home has been in a state of renovation for 10 years so I've had more service people than I can remember. I tend to stick with good people when I find them because it takes up lots of time doing research first.
Eric told me when he could come, called 30 minutes out and showed up on time. He and helper introduced themselves, worked quickly and efficiently, and I paid a fair price (a little less than the price of the installer who didn't do the job and slightly more than the Amazon installation that I couldn't get scheduled soon enough). He gives a warranty for his work, communicates well and is pleasant and professional. My only suggestion (tiny complaint) is that it took over an hour to get an unexpected part. I realize that the small guys can't always have a well-stocked truck like bigger businesses, but I wonder if paying slightly more for small parts at the local hardware store might be worth it given how much a business owner's time is worth? Just a thought. Overall, I highly recommend them. I'm happy to support a new small businessman in my neighborhood!

I've utilized Mike and County Line Plumbing for the last 4 years. He is always very responsive, and comes out quickly if there is an emergency. He is always friendly, and performs high quality work at a fair price.

I've had a bad experience with Bennett's Plumbing. I hired Richie Bennett to do a digging job in order to run a drain line from the street onto a lot which I own. I gave him a $1400 check which he cashed the same day. The work is not done. It was never started.
The job had a deadline. The contract states a completion date of May 25th 2011. It was imperitive that the job be completed before the city poured the new sidewalk. It is now a few weeks past the deadline. The sidewalks have been poured, therefore it is too late to do the work with out destroying the new cement.
I believe the plumber began with good intention but for whatever reason, the job was never done and Bennett has communicated nothing to me. I briefly spoke to his wife who said he intended to return my money. He does not return my phone calls and he still has not returned my money although he did know where to pick it up.
P.S. I found this business at 2207 E. Boston St., not at the address displayed on the yelp listing.

I contracted with Allied to air seal and install insulation in my attic. The sales rep who quoted the project was very helpful and worked through many questions for a complex project. However, after scheduling the install day, I was informed by the sales rep that they would no longer be completing the project due to it costing more money than they originally anticipated during an internal review.
This seemed very odd as we had a signed agreement and been planning this work for many months. They were scheduled to install in 3 days and I had already removed most of the existing insulation to remediate some issues that they identified. I requested that ownership reach out to better explain what was going on and confirm that they would not be doing the install. I asked to advise if there were any other options. Unfortunately no one reach out or followed up.
