.Dave is very nice and a man of his word - The price he quoted us for a gas line install back in October was still good in February when we were finally ready to do the work. Even with some complications with the job Dave and his crew did everything they could with a smile and on time as promised. We had to do some extra things which were out of the scope of DJ&E's responsibility and they helped us find good people to help AND helped those people to get he job done - James, Dave's employee, spent several extra hours making sure things got done correctly and that we were happy - all at no extra charge. I would recommend Dave, James and their referral contractors to anyone needing work done.

I feel like I finally found a plumber I can trust and rely on... for life... For the past 12 months, whenever I needed plumbing work, Mike was quick to respond and more importantly communicated with me effectively before, during, and after the services were completed. There were no surprises or hidden fees! He even sent me before and after videos (of a leaking pipe) and/or photos of the problem area. A few times I asked him to check on a few things at my rental place after hours -- he was very professional dealing with my tenants as well as doing the work. His rate or what he has charged me so far has been very reasonable. I'm very grateful that I don't have to shop around any more to find a reliable plumber every time there is a plumbing problem. Now all I need to do is to call Mike. I save a lot of time, energy, and money by having a single source of plumbing services. Highly recommend him. Try him to experience it yourself.

I've used these guys for 3 years now for various plumbing, water heater, and HVAC. It's a small company staffed with fully qualified tradesmen who are professional, courteous, honest, and fair in pricing. They call ahead when on the way, arrive when they say will, and do excellent, careful work. You might have to wait a little bit longer to fit into the schedule, but their scheduler is kind, professional, and courteous, and stays in close contact with their techs.
I trust these guys to do excellent work and, while providing me with all available options, not try to sell me something I don't need. Truly a 5 Star operation.

We find Dwyer professional, friendly and very capable. They also don't come out and charge you the call-out price if they can diagnose what's going on over the phone. They have installed an appliance and traced a leak for us, both times prompt, friendly and thorough. We also find their pricing very competitive with other plumbers

Let me first say that I was nervous about calling a plumber. Because you don't know who you are going to get, how much they are going to charge you, and how they are going to treat you and your situation. But let me say that Ty was phenomenal. He was super knowledgeable and very friendly. He was patient with all my questions and was done super quick. Not only were his prices reasonable, but he was super honest about his pricing and everything. I'm referring him to everyone I know, and I hope you choose him for your next plumbing endeavor or blunder.

I had some major problems in my upstairs bathroom that Steve came in and diagnosed right away, and he was great from start to finish. Pricing was reasonable and I haven't had any problems since. Thanks Steve!

We had a plumbing emergency and I called a few local places to see if I could have someone come immediately - Arthur took my call at 11:30am and was at my home by 1pm. The issue was diagnosed by 1:15pm and a solution was produced, executed and completed by 3:30pm. I cannot say enough how quick and efficient this process was and we are so relieved! Pricing was very fair, considering the emergency we were experiencing. I will gladly recommend this company to anyone!

Brian was thorough and thoughtful in helping diagnose the problem, researching replacement options and promptly and professionally installed the new heater. He showed up when promised and left our home clean. Brian was courteous and professional. I will definitely call Brian again.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink and contacted Wallace plumbing. Derrick responded very quickly and scheduled a time to visit. He diagnosed the issue and fixed the leak. He also installed a new garbage disposal. His rates were very fair, he was professional, and communicated well throughout the entire process. I recommend Wallace plumbing and Derrick and will use them for my future home needs!

If you're looking for efficient, professional service I recommend Hume Plumbing and Heating. They replaced our main waterline at a great price, and everything was completed timely and professional.. The workers were on time and courteous.. which deemed them as Responsible and Dependable.. they cleaned up behind themselves and I felt the owner was a honest man when he came out to access our problem.. he had permits, and inspector lined up..as well as Ms. Utility.. most importantly he's a licensed plumber.. that can be verified. This is a Honest Review/Assessment.. Danny and Lisa Floyd..

Hughes Mechanical was recommended to me by a co-worker when she overheard me say I had a busted sewer line in the basement. Although their name specifies heating and air conditioning, let me just say I could not possibly be happier with their work. First of all, their estimate came in way, way lower than the other companies I interviewed. Secondly, they were available in a hurry (which was obviously a major consideration). Third, they sent two lovely, polite, knowledgeable gentlemen who knew their way around the basement and pipes of a 96-year-old house. Fourth, they were FAST!!!!! Finally, they replaced the leaky pipe with a new PVC line, warranted for 10 years. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

the office scheduled an appointment between the hours of 12 and 4 for the diagnosis of a heat pump issue. I contacted the office at 2:30 the day of the appointment to learn that I was next on the list. 3:30, 4:30, 5:30 no technician OR phone call. The company was a no show the day of the appointment!! After speaking with them the next morning, they had my phone number wrong. BAD BAD BAD customer service. I will never use them or refer anyone to them.

The employees and the owner are an absolute nightmare. Referred through our home warranty, we had one of his plumbers come out and advise us that he could not access the plumbing without our hardwood floors being ripped up. We paid the deductible. Had our floors ripped up. The plumber came back, wrote up the synopsis as it being a pre-existing condition, and the warranty company denied the claim. At this point, our floors were ripped up and we had to come out of pocket for the cost of it being repaired, which the plumber quoted us as at 4 hours of work and $975.
We called the owner. He told us that the initial plumber who came out was old, and that he would send out a younger guy who could do the work in 2 hours and charge us $400. We were so grateful for this and accepted.
Two guys came out to do the repair. They came and assessed the pipe again, told us the old guy who initially assessed the issue makes a lot of mistakes in measurements, etc, and they wanted to come take a look at everything before they got the parts they needed. They left, came back, worked for 30 minutes, we paid them $400 and they left.
2 hours later, we flushed the toilets and the pipes were now leaking from a different place... a place they were not leaking from prior. We called the technician back and he quoted us another $400. We called the owner to try to understand why we would need to pay another $400 for a leak that wasn't there prior to the work they did. He was rude, defensive, short, and hung up on us. Then text us to tell us he would not do the work at all... and continued to text us unprofessionally and rudely for an hour.
I wish I had read these reviews prior! They are spot on.

I called MelRoy to do 2 jobs at my house. The first, replacing a laundry tub, went well, the second was a little trickier. I had a leaking tub diverted that needed replacement. This job required a little more thought and innovation due to tight space where the pipes were located. After finishing the laundry tub installation, the plunber said he did not have enough time to tackle the diverted replacement (I had already bought the replacement diverted part). Before leaving the plumber told me the office would call and reschedule. I immediately thought he did not want to take on this job due to the effort required and sure enough, a week later, no one from MelRoy call me back. Very frustrating, since they basically cherry picked the easier Job. At that point I looked into fixing the leak and found that by replacing a couple of O-rings, with out replacing the entire inverter fixed the leak. Too bad the plumber from MelRoy could not figure that out.
I called Melroy because they are a Catonsville business. In the future I will call others because I know now, there are better choices.

This guy is totally unreliable. He gives times when he will come give an assessment or fix an issue and hours later he still doesn't come or call. When you call him, he come across as annoyed that you are frustrated with his lack of communication and inability to give a true estimate as to when he will arrive. We'll literally waited days for him to come out to service our AC during 100 degree weather.

This company ignores calls, doesn't call back and more importantly DOESN'T SHOW UP. Don't waste your precious time rearranging your schedule to accommodate them.
