I've called on Catonsville Professional Services to do a number of things over the last ten years or so, and they have done all of them well. They've built a deck, installed and repaired windows, added handrails to front and rear entrances, installed a generator, done a variety of electrical work, and probably many other things that I've forgotten. They have experienced people to handle all these tasks. I've trusted all their workers and have always been satisfied with their results. I recently moved out of state. They made sure everything was in order. I will miss them.

I was experiencing minor water in my basement and didn't know way to proceed. I had Stop Leak come out and they were very professional. After a conversation, he actually suggested that instead of talking with him that I should be talking to a landscape drainage specialist.
I can really appreciate someone not preying on my ignorance and pointing me in the right direction. So I'm moving forward with a French drain on the side of my house and will continue to monitor how my basement fairs over the coming months.

Omar came out on a Friday night due to our hot water heater spewing water. He found the problem, fixed it, and was nice to boot! Thanks, Omar!

We experience outstanding customer service, the technician was very knowledgeable in explaining the problem we were experiencing, and what it will cost to replace . This company is very reasonable & fair. I will call Ben the plumber for all my plumbing problems. So far, we use this business two times and both visits we were definitely satisfied.

I had an issue with my AC on a Sunday and Bobby answered my emergency call. When he called me back, I explained that the breaker had tripped and I had it working again. Bobby was very nice and very helpful. I scheduled for him to come later that week and examine my AC unit to make sure all was ok. He arrived promptly, as scheduled and was very professional and again very helpful. He checked the AC and thankfully found nothing wrong with it and suggested it may be a worn breaker; whereas some more unscrupulous companies very well could have found something wrong. ;)
Bobby was excellent and I will definitely schedule him back for my heating tune up before cold weather hits.
So nice to have a company and a technician that can be trusted.

PUMPHREY PLUMBING came to my house to troubleshoot a leak and pulled up my toilet and FLOODED MY HOUSE. After I got done moving things that were pulled out of the way during this catastrophe, I tried using my Rainbow vac to be sure they got up all the water....AND THEY DID NOT, SO I CALLED THE PLUMBER AT 5:45PM and told him to send someone back that night to remove the water before MOLD sets in. He said that they had removed all the water and that no one would be coming back that night. I told him they had NOT REMOVED ALL THE WATER, since I was still picking it up with my Rainbow Vac, and asked him to come with stronger equipment, so that MOLD wouldn't develop. He had someone call me to make an appointment for the next day. I called him back and told him I need the cleanup THAT NIGHT SO THAT MOLD DOESN'T DEVELOP, since my online research showed that MOLD CAN DEVELOP WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE WATER DAMAGE. He told me that MOLD would not develop that soon. I WARNED HIM THAT I MAY HIRE A LAWYER TO GET MY MONEY BACK, SINCE I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO PAY FOR A MOLD REMEDIATION COMPANY, since my Rainbow Vac wasn't powerful enough to pickup all the water. He told me to CALL A F*KING LAWYER THEN. I hung up the phone. What kind of reputable plumber #1 pulls up a toilet without shutting off the Water Main? And #2, what kind of reputable plumber that floods your house, won't respond to their customer, to totally remove the toilet water, they have just poured all over their house? BEWARE FOLKS! DON'T PUT YOUR HOUSE AND HEALTH (MOLD) AT RISK BY HIRING PUMPHREY PLUMBING! I REALLY WISH SOMEONE HAD WARNED ME! Hope this REVIEW Helps Someone Else.

Our house had a 26-year-old possibly leaking Polybutylene water service line that was going to need to be replaced. It also happens to be one of the longer water lines in our zip code that I know of on the edge of the service area for public utilities. I spent the last year looking for estimates and was unable to get anyone to call back as most plumbers run screaming when they see how long they have to run the line. I had forgotten that I had gotten an estimate from Catons years back when I first started budgeting for the replacement. It was a slow process but that is nature of this kind of work which is why its so important to do something like this proactively as my neighbors soon found out when their water line failed this summer. We lucked out with scheduling as the horizontal boaring crew wanted to start work the week we were on vacation. I setup a lock box, gave them an alarm code and came back to a brand new 600+ foot water service line that has noticeable better pressure and no risk of exploding in the middle of the night because some moron back in the late 70s decided that cheap plastic pipe was the way of the future. Pricing was right in the middle. I've had cheaper and I've had as expensive as 20K. Catons was right in the middle and it did not cost me a cent as they work with the county to spread the cost out in your property taxes over a 40-year period. The cheapest guy never returned my phone calls and I'm guessing was not up to the job.

Gordon and his son have fixed a few issues at my house over the years. I've always found them to be honest, reputable, forthright, trusty, and reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone in the Baltimore Metro region!!

I used Blue dot in the past, but Horizon blew them out of the water. Horizon is so professional, clean and they take their time to explain everything, John was awesome, and although my Golden puppy kept bothering him for attention, he was really great with him. I would give him 10 stars if I could. With Horizon you don't feel like they are trying to sell you everything, and the prices are fair.

The guys came and knew exactly what needed to be done. They were courteous and professional and cleaned up everything when they left. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs that you may have. Thank you Brandon and Dee!

Directed to H & k through our home warranty company for a broken hot water heater. Left message on Saturday, 4 calls and 2 messages on Monday, 2 more calls on Tuesday with no answer, no return call. Demanded a new company from our home warranty company! The new company proceeded to tell us we could have had it repaired in 48 hours vs now have to wait almost a week waiting for H & K. Their website states customer service is number 1 priority! I read the reviews about great service etc? I couldn't even get a return phone call? What a joke!!

This plumber advertises on their website that they can clear clogged roof vents. I called for service and spoke with the owner who at first said they will try to clear it from the bathroom and then go to the roof. He called back, after I had someone go to my home to meet them, and said they would not go on the roof but could clear it from below. The came and snaked the sink and said sorry we can't do it but you owe us $265 (for 30 minutes of service).
This is a big scam! Not to be trusted!
PS. They did not reconnect the sink drain correctly after and I had to fix it.
