Best Water Heater Repair in Bakersfield CA

Our kitchen sink clogged and I tried everything on my end to clear it, drano, plunger, plumbing snake, with no luck.  That clog must have been 50' down the line and locked in tight!  Time to get the pros on it.  I called Advanced Plumbing Service at 10 AM and they were able to send Chris over by 1PM!  Chris was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and diligent.  Chris kept a clean and tidy work area, he worked smoothly and efficiently, and he persisted until he got the difficult job done.  The price was fair, the service was great, and I'd recommend this company to anyone.  Thanks Chris!

Based on Yelp reviews I called John the Plumber and I'm sorry I did. We recently moved into the Tehachapi area and our property uses a septic system. I'm not familiar with this and had no idea why waste water was coming out of the clean out in the back yard. He said to not do more than one load of laundry a day as we were probably putting too much water down the drains. Well waste water kept coming out no matter what we did and I finally asked him to stop by a few months later. He looked at it and said the leech field was probably the problem and to check into that. I had no idea where the septic tank was and assumed it was under the clean out, using my backhoe I attempted to located the septic and of course damaged the sewer lines. Repaired the damage and again no matter what waste water would come out the clean out. The actual problem was a blockage in the sewer line near the septic tank, the clean out is there to prevent waste water from backing up into the home. It took 4 different professionals stopping by before the problem was fixed. I cannot believe how such a simple problem was so difficult to figure out. If the waste water can't get into the septic tank it will back up and come out the clean out, now I know.

Visiting my mother in law for the holidays,  noticed the the tub needed a new trap and shoe, Tony was able too come out the next morning and replaced the trap and shoe, while under the house Tony was able to see that a majority of the pipes needed to be replaced.

   We also had Tony replace the shower valve, handle, tub spout, shower head.    Turned out all the pipes were galvanized so Tony had to replace them as well.
   Tony quoted us a fair price and stuck by his quote.   I highly recommend Tony for any of your plumbing needs, he was punctuation, and kept me informed of any changes in the bill.

My water heater pilot has been going out and I called to have it repaired. Spoke to Rick on Sunday and he gave me a couple of tips over the phone that saved our family money. I just want to thank Rick for his great customer service and I highly recommend this company for any other repairs. I know I'll be using them if needed.

When I called I reached the owner Alex. He was so nice. He was there within the hour. He made sure that we would be alright for the night. He came out the next day and completed the job in a timely manner and didn't drain our bank account like the last company we used. His prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

If you are looking for an honest and fair plumber look no further then Lucas at AAM & Kline Plumbing. Responded quickly to my call and fixed the problem in a very short amount of time. Price was very reasonable for what was done. I'm glad I now have someone I can count on when I have plumbing issues.

My garbage disposal was leaking. Jason came out and found a new unit was needed. He quoted me for the part and labor. Didn't charge me for even coming out to look at it. He was quick and customer friendly! Would definitely refer to anyone needing an honest plumber!

I am writing this review about the honesty in billing of Carroll Plumbing & Maintenance, Inc.

I have used Carroll Plumbing & Maintenance, Inc. for the last six or seven years with good results.  I have referred them to numerous other people.  I have been really happy with their work, until now.

For the last few years, I have had a maintenance agreement with Carroll Plumbing & Maintenance, Inc.  Once a year, in late November, they would come out to my house and perform a sewer maintenance on the sewer line from my home to the sewer lines in the street.  

This year I scheduled the maintenance on December 1st, between the hours of 10am to 12pm.  Their plumber (Joel, per Carroll Plumbing & Maintenance, Inc.'s bill) arrived at approximately 9:30am.  The plumber walked around the house and my wife noticed him, so she went outside. He said he couldn't find the line and that the office must have given him incorrect information because they said it was by the kitchen.  My wife directed him to the correct spot on the opposite side of the house.

The plumber used a machine to root out the line.  When the plumber was finished, including putting his machine away (approximately 15 minutes after he arrived), he sat in his truck (in front of our house for approximately 20 minutes).  

On December 21, 2015, I received a bill from Carroll Plumbing & Maintenance, Inc.  The bill came to a total of $193.54.  I have no problem paying their hourly rate of $89.00, or the use of their  E100 machine ($15.00).  What I have is a problem with, is Carroll Plumbing & Maintenance, Inc. over charging me for two hours labor at $89.00 an hour.  I called Carroll Plumbing & Maintenance, Inc. on December 21, 2015, to talk about the bill.  I spoke to a woman in their office; she said someone would call me back the following day..  

On December 23, 2015, Tony called and said he spoke to the plumber.  The plumber reported he was out here for two hours from 9am to 11am.  I told Tony, he arrived around 9:30am and was only here for 15 minutes.  I also told Tony, the plumber sat in his truck for at least 20 minutes. He sat there so long, in fact, that my wife thought something was wrong and he was waiting for additional help/equipment; when all along, he was already done with the job.

Tony said the two hours is a fair time charge and that it includes travel time.  Google maps shows the travel distance and time from Carroll Plumbing & Maintenance, Inc.'s office to my house as 2.2 miles and ten minutes.

Tony would not adjust the time charged.  I informed him that he has lost me as a regular customer and I would no longer refer Carroll Plumbing & Maintenance, Inc to anyone in the future.

We had this company work on one of our homes, sub- par work. It's important that customer receive what they pay for. I reported them to the BBB and everyone that needs a Plummer this is not the business.

I recommended Kangarooter for a septic certification and they worked diligently on getting the necessary city permits, once they had them they went straight to work and worked hard in 105 degree weather! My clients are very happy and satisfied with their work.

I called multiple times, I always just got put on hold and had to listen to their adverts. I never got to speak to anyone. This was over a two-day period. If you want customers, you should answer the phone.

This business is locally owned. The owner goes above and beyond to assist the public and his in house clients. He over works himself to make sure every customers needs are met. The owner and his technicians explain all plumbing tasks to the customers in detail in Laymans term, which in result, the customer will return with any other plumbing issues.

10/10 with no doubt!

I understand that this is a large company with a high overhead I'm sure, but I have found that their prices are high, you should get a second opinion on their estimates.
