Sooooo I thought I was badass cleaning my insinkerator with egg shells cause the internet said so.. could've also been all the food I shoved in instead of walking to my trash can..point is..I super clogged my sink. The biggest clog ever lol like both sides were full of water. After many tears (all from me)  my husband and I called last night and  Tony Q came to my house this morning.  So fast! He figured out the issue..took his time to gently unclog everything and I was so shocked to see all the damage I had done  I am so thankful he got the job done and saved my insinkerator so we didn't have to buy a new one. Woo-hoo Tony thank you!!

Tip: not everything in the internet is real..even sink cleaning advice lol don't throw egg shells or leftover curtido from pupusas.. ‍

We had the pleasure of working with Tony on a complete repiping of our plumbing on our home. We went from copper to pex and he was complete in three days, that also included a new water heater and valves to our showers. Did I mention fixing a small leak on our main valve? He showed up on time was extremely professional and tended to every question we had. We are grateful that AEQ was able to complete our project on time. I called on a Sunday afternoon about a leaking water line in my attic and they had someone at my house within 20 minutes. The line was fixed and working again within a half hour of their arrival. Great job!

Visiting my mother in law for the holidays,  noticed the the tub needed a new trap and shoe, Tony was able too come out the next morning and replaced the trap and shoe, while under the house Tony was able to see that a majority of the pipes needed to be replaced.

   We also had Tony replace the shower valve, handle, tub spout, shower head.    Turned out all the pipes were galvanized so Tony had to replace them as well.
   Tony quoted us a fair price and stuck by his quote.   I highly recommend Tony for any of your plumbing needs, he was punctuation, and kept me informed of any changes in the bill.

This guy's the best! Our tub suddenly filled up with what looked like landfill purée and he came out within an hour and snaked the place inside and out until all was well.

On a cold Saturday after dark, Tony came and repaired an exterior copper line that had cracked due to the cold.  He was responsive, punctual, professional, friendly, and got everything taken care of quickly neatly and quickly.  He will definitely be my first go-to plumber going forward.

My kitchen sink had a leak and when I attempted to turn off the water under my sink, the valve to my cold water link started a second leak. Tony fixes both leaks, replaced what was broken and damaged and did an overall great job! I messaged around on Yelp asking for estimates to install a water line & valve and possibly a new pipe for a new fridge I was purchasing. Tony responded within minutes and he was able to come out that afternoon with a free estimate and was able to complete the work the next afternoon. FIRST VISIT FROM AEQ PLUMBING
I had new countertops and a kitchen sink installed in my kitchen.  Tony @ AEQ Plumbing was subcontracted to come out and install the faucet, dishwasher, garbage disposal as well as drainpipe system below the sink.  I also paid extra to replace the aging cold and hot water shutoff valves beneath the sink.  Tony showed up on time, was friendly and professional, and did a great job.  I kept his phone number in case I needed any further plumbing services.

VISIT #2
The shutoff valve on my water heater was badly corroded.  I was afraid that it might snap off in the future whenever I would flush the sediment out of my water heater.  For a low price ($80.00 or so??), Tony came out, removed the old shutoff valve, and soldered on a brand new shut off valve.  I no longer fear that it will snap off when I go to shut off the water heater.

ALMOST VISIT #3
My water heater burner was having gas build-up issues.  I turned it off for fear that it might cause a fire.  I could not get the pilot to re-light.  I figured it was time to buy a new water heater.  I called Tony who was ready to come and help me install a new water heater.  The price he quoted was very reasonable (only a couple of hundred dollars for labor??).  Tony was all scheduled to come out the next day to install the new water heater when I decided to see if the water heater might be under warranty (which it was).  Long story short, I ended up getting the water heater burner assembly replaced 100% free under warranty by the manufacturer.  Tony never came out to do the work, but had it not been under warranty I'm sure that Tony would have done a top notch job getting a new water heater replaced.

ACTUAL VISIT #3
In the middle of the night, I heard a loud crash from my master bathroom bathtub.  It turns out that the screw holding my overflow drain rusted through which caused the overflow drain plate to come crashing down.  There was no way to get the broken screw out, so I called Tony over to replace the overflow/drain assembly.  Tony had to cut the kitchen ceiling below to reach the piping.  It was an easy fix for Tony.  He replaced the pipes, the overflow plate (with a nice up/down toggle lever), and the bathtub drain (with a nice cover piece to prevent items from slipping down the drain).  The labor cost was $129.00 + parts for a grand total of $172.69 out the door.

Tony is responsive, friendly, on-time, reasonably priced, and easy to deal with.  I'm keeping his phone number for all of my future plumbing/sink/toilet/bathroom/kitchen issues.  Give him a call!

Outstanding service and response! Tony responded to my message within minutes and came a few hours after for an emergency repair. Had a leak on my gas line to my drier and Tony was able to immediately find the leak and repair it. Professional, and outstanding work. I do recommend AEQ plumbing to anyone needing any work. My bathtub faucet was leaking some black junk out of it. I called two different popular plumbers which charged me a $60.00 and 70.00 evaluation fee. Theyboth were charging me over $1000.00 and there was no guarantee the problem would be solved. I called AEQ which was recommended to me. Tony said it was just a rubber seal from the faucet, a easy and inexpensive fix. I had a new faucet put in. I have had AEQ do numerous of work the latest being my water heater.
I will not use any orther  plumber. I highlyy recommend AEQ. Their work is excellent their pricing is reasonable and affordable. Very ttrustworthy and reliable and all work was done in a timely and professional manner.

I tried replacing my tub/ shower cartridge myself.  The  hardware store have me the wrong one and it kept dripping. I requested a quote from Tony and he came the same day, got the correct cartridge and got it fixed.  He was also able to fix the drain in my other bathroom.  He was very nice and affordable.  I will be using him again if I have any other issues.  Thank you Tony.

It was a pleasure and relief to finally find a plumber who is reasonable, professional, dependable, and on-time.   Tony checked all those boxes for me on several occasions. Rather through text messages or phone calls, he makes sure to notify you if and when he will be on premise or might be running late.  That trait is hard to find in todays world.  He replaced several cartridges for me and handfuls of valves and fittings.  He is very reasonable and won't up-charge for services that aren't needed.  In fact, he even took care of a toilet flange question i had for him without charging me.  Thanks for being honest and reliable Tony. My shower was leaking and we ended up having to replace our shower heads with new ones. Tony was great, he was prompt, efficient and our new shower heads look great! He was able to mold the copper pipes together and take out our old shower heads which were corroded. I will definitely use him again!

How about a major plumbing outside pipe-break on a Sunday night that shuts off water to the entire house!  Ever try to get a plumber in Tehachapi under those conditions?  Most won't even answer the phone to tell you they're not available for a day or so.  Tony was under a house when I called him and called me back within 10 minutes.  Is he for real?  A return call!  And a promise to come to my Alpine house in 30 minutes after he finished another emergency job.  His work was of excellent quality, having taken his time to do a good job--right--the first time.  And his personality was warm and sympathetic to my predicament/panic.  Is there any question why his rating is so high?  He's my new plumber and I've lived here in Tehachapi for 31 years and suffered through many a local plumbing disappointment.

Tony came to our home to fix our washing machine drain. He graciously assisted my mother with explaining what needed to be done. He spent about 2 hrs assessing the drain and waited my mother a price. He then advised my mom he will come in couple days if it works he gets paid if not then he'll reassess the problem. At first fix it worked! My mom was super happy he worked out a payment that worked for both and gave us a guarantee as well. My garbage disposal went out on Saturday. Called AEQ they were booked all day so came on Sunday. Great service, will use them again!

I needed a dishwasher installed when Home Depot's delivery guys said they couldn't do it due to a part size that didn't come with the kit. Turns out it just would have been more work for them to remove the dishwasher because of how this it was installed into its place with the floor tiles (the front 'feet' were up against the floor tiles and required careful removal to avoid damaging the tile). Tony was able to remove the old dishwasher without issues or messing up the floor tiles. Tony's price for removing my old dishwasher and installing my new one compared to Home Depot doing it all was half the cost to me. In addition, he was very informative and friendly during the installation process.

The service was excellent and the price was reasonable and it came with a 1 year guarantee. Tony was friendly and easy to work with. I will use his services again if I have a plumbing issue!

Stop looking around. This guy is your plumber. Attempted to get my gas service turned on and upon inspection by by the propane company provider, was told I had a small gas leak. Tony came out to inspect and pressure test the pipes, found the like and fixed the valve. This guys turn around call is quick and responsive. Saving this business as my favorite! My moms water heater was leaking quite a lot and would not stay lit. While asking for quotes, Tony was the only one that was straightforward with a price and responded quickly. Tony charged me a decent price for replacing the water heater. He arrived on time and was very professional. It only took him about an hour for the work and he even hauled away the old water heater (other places wanted to charge me and extra fee). He was even nice enough to send me a text the following day to make sure everything was working properly.

Came out on Saturday assessed my issue.  Although was not something he serviced he didn't change for the assignment.

I shopped around for quotes to replace my water heater and repair a drain pipe which started leaking. I received about 5 quotes. Most of the plumbing companies quoted a price without even coming in to take a look at the work or seeing the pictures. Their quotes were sloppy, it was hard to tell what was included and was not included in the price. Tony on other hand asked for pictures and even then came in to see water heater and the pipe in order to provide me with an accurate estimate. His proposal was the lowest, moreover he was ready to install it same day so I accepted it. In addition to the price the quality of work he did was great as well.

Tony was really great and installed my kitchen faucet and water filter in no time without any mess. he was very polite and explained me all the parts and how to take care of the things in near future. i would definitely refer him.

We tried to do a 2 to 1 conversion on our shower. After getting to the pipes, we realized they were soldered and didn't have threading as we'd hope since the valve was threaded. Soldering is not in our wheelhouse. So I requested a quote and Tony responded within minutes and came out to give an estimate. We thought the price was reasonable and he started the work. There was a hiccup with one of our old pipes but Tony let us know and he stayed extra to switch out the piece with the issue and finish the job. I'm so glad we found Tony to help us. I was need of replacement parts. They responded immediately to my inquiry and setup an appointment for the next day. He gave us a free estimate and was available the following day. He even bought two parts just in case one was wrong. He was able to complete the job in a reasonable time and even checked our pressure to make sure everything was running correctly. I know where to go for all my future plumbing needs.

Ok, this may seem like an odd review, but I felt compelled to rate this business. To be clear, I have not used this business. However, when I came to Yelp to request quotes to replace a cartridge in my bathtub faucet, AEQ was the ONLY business (from the 4 I requested quotes from) to actually give me a quote. It was a reasonable quote, and their availability sounded great. I ended up managing to fix the issue on my own, but I wanted to show some appreciation for a business that actually responds quickly to requests, with reasonable prices. If/when I need a plumber, these folks are the first I'll call!

Tony was wonderful and professional. Our water heater broke and with 2 small kids there was only so much troubleshooting of our own that we could tolerate before we needed to call a professional. I reached out towards the end of a Wednesday and got a response within 20 minutes. I explained the issue and he was nice enough to squeeze us in early the next day. When he arrived, I explained that we believed it was just the pilot light which he was able to get back on, however, a few hours later the problem returned. I called Tony back not expecting him to be able to return the same day and for there to be some back and forth with scheduling since it was late on a Thursday and I knew he was probably booked Friday. Nope. Tony was transparent and let me know he was finishing a job and would be over in about an hour. He was. He came by gave us a quote, ran to get the materials and installed all in the same day (bath time was saved). I will use Tony again and again as well as refer him to anyone who needs a plumber.
