Liberty came to service my septic tank today and my only regret is not using him before. Two years ago we had some bad issues, including a flooded house, and the company I called came out three times in two months. I know nothing about septic, just thought I had uniquely bad problems. Our neighbor had Liberty at his house yesterday, so we asked if they could service ours just as a maintenance call, to avoid problems again. This guy knew so much more, did such a better job, explained why service didn't work previously, etc.. Just really knew his stuff. Worked like crazy for four hours, dug up three holes, drained them, showed me what was happening. I was very impressed. Very reasonable cost. This kind of service is hard to find, I'm very very pleased.

Cannot say I would recommend since owner seemed to forget about set appointments. Was told project will be done in one day, and that did not happen. Was told owner of company would do a final walk-through to make sure project was completed to spec, not only did he pull a no-show, he did it twice.
I would have expected this treatment if it was a low budget job, but to pay good money and having to deal with the dependability issue (had to take time off work to meet appointments he never showed up to) WAS NOT WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY. Apologies were never offered, he said prices were reasonable with competition, but I would have to reject the fairness of price to project done when I had to keep making new appointments to deal with this guy who doesn't respect other's time.
This guy came out on a weekend drove an hour to get to us. He got the job done this was an emergency for my family.We will definitely use their services again in the future!
Our septic system backed up on a Saturday afternoon. We began calling plumbing companies only to have people tell us we will call you Monday or they don't service residential septic systems anymore. Alex, not only took our call, he came out, with his wife, on Sunday and pumped and cleaned our system. Of all the companies who have came before him, he was by far the most professional and clean. Alex and Liberty will be our first call every time.
Liberty saved us. We spent the better part of FIVE weeks not being able to shower, do laundry or flush only when the smell got unbearable. All that time we spent nearly every day trying to hire a septic service by calling every listing online from one end of the county to the other, leaving messages and requesting quotes by email and only hearing back from 5 or 6 that informed us they don't offer that service - despite being listed under SEPTIC PUMPING SERVICES. Of course, the last name on our list was Liberty. We contacted Alex, who quoted us $700 to come to Tehachapi from Bakersfield for the job. (understandable, given the obscene price of fuel). When the guys arrived - earlier than the scheduled time, they discovered they would need to pump our tank from two places and had to dig to find the second access. And, one of our tanks contained what amounted to a solid block of material that would require alot of effort to break up. The additional charge was only $50. They were done in a little over two hours, put the dirt back and spent a few moments giving me tips on keeping things flowing.
We are very happy with the job they did; I am sorry I didn't have anything cold for the guys to drink before they left. I will be keeping their number handy because I won't be hiring anyone else. Thank you Liberty!

Liberty Plumbing to the rescue!
We were in desperate need of having our septic tank pumped late on a Friday afternoon after a different plumber had misdiagnosed our plumbing problem
Alex from Liberty graciously came out after hours and evaluated the situation. Alex promised to return on Saturday morning and remedy our situation. JOB WELL DONE!!
Alex not only showed up as promised but had our lines cleaned out and the tanks emptied in quick order. Alex also recommended installing risers on our tanks to make access both more convenient and more attractive in the yard.
Alex and the crew from Liberty Plumbing arrived on time, were neat with their work, were reasonably priced and correctly repaired our plumbing problem.

Alex and his team are the best! We discovered our home had a septic system, instead of sewer like the listing stated, a few years after we bought our home and had major plumbing issues. We didn't know who to call and I can't remember how we found Alex, but we are so glad we did! We've had to have our system looked at a few times over the years and we've only ever called Alex. He is reliable, trustworthy, very communicative, honest, and I would say now he's even a friend. Go with Alex and his team; you won't be disappointed.
Liberty plumbing and septic service is awesome and professional service I called him Saturday night he assured me he will be at my house between eight and nine the next morning , sure enough at 8:30 he was there. Liberty plumbing is very affordable and reliable service and I willl use them again if I had any problems.
Made the call on a Saturday to see if my septic tank could be pumped on a Sunday! Where I live (Tehachapi) you can count on a huge weekend charge. Talked with Alex who understood my situation and agreed to come up from Bakersfield on a Sunday. He was right on time and did everything he said he would. Can't say how pleased I am with the service. Alex is awesome and I will never use anyone else but him again. Thank you so much. Really came though for my family.

Alex was so helpful and accommodating. He sent a guy early the next day after I called in the evening about my clogged drain line . He followed up with phone call to ensure the issue had been solved . Definitely I am glad to have found a reliable trustworthy plumbing company . I'm very grateful !
My wife had alerted me that we need to get our septic tank pumped as water has been very slow flowing down the drain. I called several companies listed here on Yelp and made a decision to utilize Liberty Plumbing & Septic. Alex, the owner, returned my call promptly and gave me a quote that was competitive. I did not want to use another company listed here that charged me 2x six years ago.
I arranged for a 2:00 PM appointment today. I received a call from Alex advising that he is going to be a little late as he is still stuck with a previous appointment. Upon arrival he had surveyed the possible location of the septic tanks and proceeded and rang the doorbell. I notice two workers, clean and very presentable. Both went ahead and started to dig. Half an hour later, I was summoned to show me how full the two septic tanks were. 45 minutes later, both septic tanks had been drained, dirt put back and grass replaced.
A very good experience indeed. Alex is an honest owner / operator and do not have any hesitation to recommend this company for your required septic needs.

Liberty was recommended to me by Lucas plumbing. He told me they were reliable, honest, and reasonably priced. I called him in the morning and he was able to come out the same day. His crew worked quick and did a great job with clean up! I definitely recommend them. We will be calling him back in a few years when we need it pumped again.

I called Liberty Plumbing and septic based on Yelp reviews. Excellent Experience! Alex came right out on a Friday right before a holiday. He and his helper did a fast, thorough, quality job on my septic system. They ensured that everything worked properly before closing the septic access back up.
Alex even gave me a discount for recommending him to my neighbor. A very pleasurable, painless experience at a reasonable price. I would recommend Liberty Plumbing and septic to anyone who needs this type of service.
Was really hoping to write a positive review got my septic tank pumped $400 with no problem whole family very pleasant and helpful thought all was well then my shower was still backed up and told that happens when the septic tank was full fine got it snaked $75 let Alex know my pit was still filling up flowing down the street after being pumped at this point was informed there is no warranty on the work I had done and it's because I didn't want to spend an extra $150 for chemicals in the tank which I'm not understanding how a septic tank that takes normally takes 3 years to fill is filling after 1 week so I'm back to square 1 out of $475 and still having a swamp in my front yard not to mention the smell was hoping for a different more accommodating outcome being $475 is a lot of money in my life to still have the same problem I was hoping would be fixed as I paid for a service that obviously wasn't satisfactory
As to your response we can go back and forth with this but I know what was said at the time and Alex referred to the sludge at the bottom and chemicals for $150 would take care of that at no time was any mention of any major repairs needed but whatever statement makes you feel better about the situation is fine with me as I know what you told me at the time wish the outcome would've been better as I have no reason to lie I as I am the one who paid for the service in full just hoping for a better outcome and resolution

When I called I reached the owner Alex. He was so nice. He was there within the hour. He made sure that we would be alright for the night. He came out the next day and completed the job in a timely manner and didn't drain our bank account like the last company we used. His prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

This guy is a joke. He was late on a Friday then it turns out he couldn't do the job until Monday. So my family was out of showers, toilets etc... for the whole weekend. When he finally shows up on Monday(he was late again btw) he said he'd be back on Tuesday. What a joke. I kicked him out of my house that instant. Biggest waste of time ever. So I decided to call a real professional.
This asshole jerked me along for two days. Finally said he can not come. This is unprofessional behavior. Forget all the 5 stars reviews. Probably fake.
If you're looking for a plumbing company that does high quality work at a fair price, look no further than Liberty! I spoke with Alex about a foul odor emanating from our bathroom. Alex came out, the same day, assessed the problem, and recommended the solution with a reasonable estimate. His plumbing associate Fernando, was able to accurately locate the source of the problem, dig up/replace the fractured plumbing with high quality piping and fixtures, and expertly replaced the tiling in the shower pan. Lastly, he cleaned up the work area. Alex personally stopped by to ensure the work was completed to our specifications. Now that's what I call excellent customer service! Problem resolved! This company is great! The owner was able to come help me on my lunch break. I told him how much time I had and he made sure to respect that and not have to stay any longer. I'd recommend Liberty. They were very knowledgeable with my septic system (older home/ new owner). They showed up same day I called and we were up and flowing by the end of the day! Price seemed very responsible.
Way to expensive I can't believe his prices stay away from this guy. Called to get a price for a 35 gallon tank off an RV her wanted $150 bucks

The septic tank was full on one of my houses and it was Super Bowl Sunday. When I called they were not available but said they could empty the tank the next day. They had another job first thing and would be by after that. In the afternoon my renter called when he returned from work to tell me the didn't pump the septic tank. In the late afternoon it is impossible to find someone else so I had to arrange for another pumping service for the following morning. I can forgive someone for being too busy to take another job but not for accepting the job and then not showing up or calling. I will not be using Liberty Pumping again.
The last time I used them I caught them using diluted acid. They claimed it was 92% or higher but I weighed the five gallon container and since sulfuric acid weighs almost twice as much as water they couldn't deny it was under weight for full strength acid. They did pour in 15 gallons instead of 10 for the agreed price. I shouldn't have to watch anyone to keep them honest. This time was my fault, I should have learned my lesson last time.
Alex is great! I called on Sunday to find out if he was available on Monday to unclog my kitchen drain line. He said he would be out in an hour and only charge me $15 more a Sunday call out. He showed up as promised and spent about 2-3 hours getting it unclogged. Great guy and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a plumber!

this company is very excellent. never had a company that did the job efficiently without me telling them about what to do. I'm very pleased. I'm calling this company and getting my septic tank's done with them. They're very affordable and fast on their job, they got the job done quick and efficiently and finally we got a running toilet couldn't be more pleased on how excellent this company did the job. I am so going to be calling them for my plumbing.
My septic system backed up this past weekend and started to flood my downstairs bathroom, luckily we caught it in time and it didn't cause any damage. So after reading all the positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to give Liberty a call. After a couple a minor delays, they were able to come out to service my septic system and they did not disappoint. They got everything done quickly and responsibly. Not only did they do the job, but throughout the entire time they were here, the showed me each step they were performing (at their request none the less). While pumping our septic system, they found and fixed a broken pipe and concrete lid other companies failed to find. After all was said and done they did a great job and we no longer have any of the issues we had in the past. The guys from Liberty were friendly, hardworking and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Liberty to anyone looking to service their septic system!!!!
We returned home late at night (10:30pm) to find a pipe had busted and flooded our entire front yard along with the hole where the main water valve is at so we couldn't see where the knob was to turn off our main water line. We did a quick search for plumbers on Yelp and I believe his business, Liberty Plumbing & Septic, was a sponsored ad since it was on the very top of my search results. I called and Alex answered. I told him about my situation and he said to text him my address. He showed up in about 10 minutes and in just a few minutes he was able to shut off the main water line but it wasn't easy since you couldn't see the valve and he had to stick his hand in the freezing cold water to search for it and that was still a challenge. While he was searching for the valve he said man this water is COLD. I said why do you think I called you? We had a good laugh, I paid him and he'll be returning tomorrow for a full repair. I will definitely be using them again.

I wish I had known sooner because I was ripped off by a previous company. If you want good quality service at an affordable price call Liberty plumbing. I cannot say thank you enough to Alex!
