Best Pipe Installation in Bakersfield CA

We've used advance plumbing a couple times and been exceptionally happy with the service.  We've used Ryan both times and this is the place we're calling whenever we have plumbing issues going forward.  They were prompt, resolved all of the issues we had (or gave us really good advice on how to work around issues to save us money).  I couldn't be happier with the service and highly recommend Advanced Plumbing.

It was a pleasure and relief to finally find a plumber who is reasonable, professional, dependable, and on-time.   Tony checked all those boxes for me on several occasions. Rather through text messages or phone calls, he makes sure to notify you if and when he will be on premise or might be running late.  That trait is hard to find in todays world.  He replaced several cartridges for me and handfuls of valves and fittings.  He is very reasonable and won't up-charge for services that aren't needed.  In fact, he even took care of a toilet flange question i had for him without charging me.  Thanks for being honest and reliable Tony. I'll be sure to call for future issues!

My experience with The Honest Plumber the first time was good. It was done with Fedelity Home warranty they did exactly what they were supposed to do  great job.  Had the same problem requested service through my home warranty and got The honest Plumber. I was like this is great  they did a good job last time this would be fine.  My problem was I had a leak on one of my pipes in my bathroom.  Since I'm on a slab of concrete the pipes go through the attic.  So I have a leak and I know it's bad because the pain is bubbling with water on my bathroom ceiling I requested for service on Sunday that's when I noticed the problem and got a call on Monday from The Honest Plumber that's they will be at my house on Wednesday to work on the problem and they can be there between 2-6pm. I was like ok that's fine it's leaking what's another day there going to fix it.   Wednesday come I wait and I get a call 5:50 that's there on there way.     The guys gets to my house and takes a few pictures and then says ok I'll see you tomorrow. I need to get an approval and I'll be here tomorrow around 9-10.   Right off the bat I was pissed off I'm very busy I work from 8-5pm everyday and it's hard for get time off I request for that day as my vacation day so I can be there  when they work on the pipes. And this guys just walks in and then say he will be back tomorrow and needs a approval.    The approval was for them to cut through the wall to get to the leaky pipe.  I was like fine tomorrow just get the job done.  Tomorrow comes and no call and it's already going to me 11pm.  I call and they told me that they have not called in for the approval yet and that once they do they will schedule a time to work on it.    So right there they lied to me ( they are not honest.). I called my home warranty and requested for a different plumbing and upon talking to the new plumber.  They told me that The Honest Plumber do not need to submit for an approval. All they needed to do was call the warranty company over the phone for to let them know that they were going to cut through the wall to get to the leaking pipe.  Every time I do a request for plumbing I will make sure I do not get this company.  Not happy with the service.

Very honest plumbers. Big name brand plumber told me I needed my house repiped. John gave me a good estimate but then told me my pipes were good copper and I didn't need it. They also fixed my shower and a leak. I highly recommend this company. Good people.

Always on time, within the hours they quote and they call when they are on the way. I had two toilets that needed the valves and water lines replaced. In and out in about 35 min. They charge $85/hr and the whole bill including parts was $139. I have used them on several occasions now and they have never let me down. You WILL have to provide a credit card prior to their arrival. If you are unwilling or unable to provide a credit card they will not take the job.

Liberty saved us. We spent the better part of FIVE weeks not being able to shower, do laundry or flush only when the smell got unbearable. All that time we spent nearly every day trying to hire a septic service by calling every listing online from one end of the county to the other, leaving messages and requesting quotes by email and only hearing back from 5 or 6 that informed us they don't offer that service - despite being listed under SEPTIC PUMPING SERVICES. Of course, the last name on our list was Liberty. We contacted Alex, who quoted us $700 to come to Tehachapi from Bakersfield for the job. (understandable, given the obscene price of fuel). When the guys arrived -  earlier than the scheduled time, they discovered they would need to pump our tank from two places and had to dig to find the second access. And, one of our tanks contained what amounted to a solid block of material that would require alot of effort to break up. The additional charge was only $50. They were done in a little over two hours, put the dirt back and spent a few moments giving me tips on keeping things flowing.
We are very happy with the job they did; I am sorry I didn't have anything cold for the guys to drink before they left. I will be keeping their number handy because I won't be hiring anyone else. Thank you Liberty!

Not much worse than a broken, leaking toilet before guests arrive.  I had a lot of trouble calling around to find a local plumber until I tried getting quotes thru Yelp.  Mark replied immediately and asked very relevant questions to prepare his estimate for exactly what I wanted.  His bid was completely fair, he arrived on time with everything needed for the job, worked efficiently, and cleaned up everything.  I was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, friendly attitude and willingness to provide the new toilet and drive up here the next day.  Excellent.

This is not a dependable company. I was referred to them by my home warranty company and only had contact via text. They never communicated over the phone. An appointment was set for Tuesday which also happen to be Valentine's Day. I waited two hours before I called the warranty company who informed me they were no longer taking my work order even though I confirmed 2 days prior. Although I called them several times that day and texted them, they never contacted me back.  Not even a courtesy call or text saying they weren't coming out. Shame on them.  Such poor customer service. Seems to be a pattern of the company from these reviews.  Take your chances with this company- maybe they will show or maybe they will blow you off.  I have yet to hear back from them.

Call them!! Highly recommend McKee! Nicholas and Jacob are responsive, professional and kind. They know what they're doing and gave me a lot of confidence. I called everyone in Bakersfield to help me with my new home purchase and they showed up on time, very professional, great pricing and were able to help me with my small and larger projects. They are now an big part of my landlord team and I feel thankful to have found them. They came by quick to clean out a clogged drain and coming later to help with my bath handle. They also worked quick to install pipes and drains for a new kitchenette and laundry units. Thanks guys!

Received my water bill and went up $150 from previous months. Called Raytek and they came right out. Darren found the leak and made the repair. Darren was very professional and very knowledgeable. The price was reasonable and I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

We had a a copper pipe attached to our wall snap and had to shut off our water. We called for a repair and they came out in about an hour! We were so thankful. They were very professional and did a great job. Being almost 41 weeks pregnant and due at any moment it was a huge relief to be able to have our water back on and the pipe fixed. We will definitely be using them again and will refer them to others that need plumbing repairs. They are also very reasonably priced.

I called Jason in the morning and he was able to schedule me in the same day. Communicated effectively and kept me updated as far as his ETA. Work was done quickly and right the first time. His prices were hands down the best I was quoted by far.  Would definitely recommend and will absolutely be calling again when I need a plumber.

Very good hard worker. Loves to help with your maintenance problems. Very patient and high in demand. I'll keep his number for a list of issues. On time.  Will work with you, and gives honest opinion on work that needs to be done. If he can't do a job he will let you know.

Billy at Royo-Rooter did a great job. We talked about the issue i was having and within 30 minutes he fixed the problem. He talked me through the process and even offered advice to not let this problem happen again in the future. I will absolutely recommend billy to my friends.

I had a leaky water heater in my garage and started calling around to plumbing companies for help. Xtreme Plumbing said they would come by the same day to help.
Sabir came by and said he would need a day to get the permit, and explained several options for replacement. I opted for the tankless heater and within a day I was back to hot showers!
These guys are the only option for plumbing needs!

Bobby was super nice, knowledgeable, and explained everything he was doing. I had a leaking shower head and he was able to change the cartridge behind the shower knob and stop the leak. Will definitely be calling in the future! Definitely recommend 100%!

My sister needed her cesspool replaced.  We were gifting the job to her family and I had reached out to Facebook for recommendations for such a job. I live in Las Vegas but I am from Bakersfield and have several friends as I grew up there.  I asked her to get two to three proposals.  I'm a real estate investor and manager and I know how the bidding process should work.  My husband was a County Project Engineer for many years so he too is very familiar with the bidding process.

The problem with Kangarooter is getting a proposal.  My sister reached out to them no less than a half a dozen times to get a proposal.  They gave multiple excuses as to why they didn't send or prepare a proposal.  The excuses stemmed from Oh, I thought Rene already took care of this.  Oh we gave him the wrong address.  With each excuse it was followed up with We will get you a proposal by X date.  That time would come and pass and nothing.  In the meantime Superior came out the same day called and gave a proposal.  My sister had done business previously with Kangarooter and I know she would of liked to give them the business however, me being in the real estate business for 28 years, if a company can't even provide you with something so simple as a proposal then you don't want to deal with them once they have been paid.  First impressions are everything.  Once I signed the contract and did the deposit over the phone they were out there that very day doing soil testing.  Plans were submitted to the County and work was scheduled and completed in rapid succession.  

You would think a company would want a contract, a sizeable one at that.  Especially during an pandemic when other companies are suffering for work, employee's are worried about their jobs.  Apparently that is not the case with this company.  I would be so embarrassed as the company owner to know at $7,000 to $8,000 job just walked out their door because they couldn't be bothered with doing something so simple as a proposal.  They could at the very least tell potential clients that their schedule is full and they are not able to accept new clients at this time.  Don't waste a homeowners time, it's just wrong.

I recently called this company to help my mother with stopped up plumbing. I was told 2 prices on the phone for the specific job to be done.  Expecting to pay the higher price for what the job entailed, they charged my mother 50% more than the higher amount. I questioned the charge and was told don't worry, I'm not trying to get you. I told him I was questioning the charge being different than what I was quoted on the phone and because mom is on a fixed budget and I need to keep an eye on things for her. I called their office the next day, on a Friday, and was told I would get a call back Monday. Not hearing anything back I called them. They had not looked into it yet. I asked for the boss to call me back, that didn't happen, the lady in the office called me back. When I got a call back I was told that they were charging her for the hour it took (which included 10 minutes for writing up the invoice), and half an hour for drive time. I was not told about this drive time before hand. The service man said he started the drive time 15 minutes before he got there, yet he charge a half an hour of time. I was told he didn't charge for gas, tools, the time it took him to get to his next stop... really ?... I would warn anyone to be sure you get a written estimate before you agree to anything and before you hire this company, If they will take advantage of an elderly lady on a fixed income, what else might they do.

Ulises was our serviceman this time and he, like all of the servicemen from Gundlach's, was top notch. Ulises was very informative and spent a lot of time making sure everything was right. He was thoroughly professional and did a great job. Thank you.
