Best Electric Furnace Installation in Austin TX
I have been a customer of Stan's since 1996 and while I have always thought their service was exceptional tonight really proved that to be true. At 7:45 PM I realized my air conditioning was not working. I called Stan's emergency number and left a message. In less than an hour Steve returned my call and told me he would be by to determine the problem when he finished the call he was on. In approximately 2 hours Steve called to say he was on his way and arrived in less than 10 minutes. In 30 minutes Steve replaced the bad capacitor and the cooling began! I am so impressed and very grateful that the problem was resolved so quickly. Big kudos to Steve - professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you so much for coming out so late on a Saturday night to fix my AC. Being older and with breathing issues it was so uncomfortable when I came home at 6:30pm to a hot house. The tech, Jared, said he would get me fixed up even though he was booked till probably 10pm with more folks like me I am sure. He was so polite and patient and explained everything! Thank you for adding me to an already loonng day and letting me sleep in a cool home. Pricing was fair. Service awesome!!!!!

I called in quite a panic when I realized my hot water heater in my attic was leaking, getting the wood platform and underlying sheetrock soaked. Their tech, Dallas, arrived in an hour; was very courteous; found the problem quickly; made quality recommendations to update my existing install. Of course, this happened on a Friday afternoon! Repairs are scheduled for Monday! I'm beyond comfortable with information I received, quality of the work and personable technician. Call Daniels if you need plumbing of any kind!

Fox was very thorough and sent a wonderful tech to our condo;
he was very helpful as we'd been using the wrong filters and also
informed us about new products and different options for air cleaners, etc.
Thanks Fox.

Called to schedule an appointment due to the faucet was not working in my kitchen. They were out the next morning as promised. They charge a service fee of $45 to diagnose the problem, is waived if you pay them to resolve the issue. Jason was professional, courteous and was very upfront and thorough with my options. He was able to diagnose and resolve the issue within just a few minutes. He could have easily overcharged me or told me I needed to replace my faucet. I really appreciate his integrity and will definitely call them for any future concerns.

This review is in regards to the unprofessional customer service I have received with two different scenarios. I'll preface that I have never used any of their services this review is solely for the customer service of trying to obtain their services.
My first instance was when I had ABC come out to give me a quote on installing a water heater. They came out and gave me the quote which I thought was a fair price and I decided to go with them. When I called the salesman back to schedule the service, he never responded to the three times I called nor my voicemail nor an email I sent. At that point, I decided to go with someone else.
Fast forward a couple months, I needed pest control service on a monthly basis, as well as, going around the house and repairing any holes. I decided to try them again and someone came out on time, I received the quote and again I decided to go with them. I called the salesman again three times before I finally got a hold of him so he could answer my questions and I could set up the appointment. I luckily was able to get him on the phone where he said I would receive a call from the scheduling department. Three weeks went by and no call to setup an appointment. I got upset enough I called their main office so I could speak with a supervisor and was told I'd get a call back. A supervisor did call me but not until the next day. He left a message and I called him back that same day and tried to leave a message, but he had some weird automated message. This was last week, and I still have not heard back from them. All of this just really makes me feel that they don't value customers or their business. Really just a don't care attitude. I guess they have enough on their plate where they don't care about getting any new business. If I was the owner or manager of sales, I would be extremely upset as they lost two big deals that they could have easily had if they would have just contacted me back. I have definitely learned my lesson this second time and will never call them again for any service and will not recommend them to anyone who asks me. I wanted to write this review that hopefully someone higher up will see this to then make improvements.

Water leak just past the water meter on the homeowners side. Called and they came right out. Family company. Nice blue van. Young man (20's) was very friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. Fortunately, he was able to pinpoint the leak in about an hour.
~$150. Very pleased. They have 2 websites; laketravisplumber.com and leandercopperpipeinstall…

I had an awesome experience with these guys. Steven is a great plumber and a real friendly, honest guy. You can tell he enjoys what he does. Service was very quick from start to finish and I thought it was reasonably priced. After many bad experiences with other plumbers I'm happy to recommend Steven to anyone I know. Thanks man!

This company lives up to their claims of caring about their customers, and going above and beyond.
My wife flushed a set of keys down the toilet--and not just any keys, and not just any toilet. She was ranch-sitting for a friend, waaayyyy out in the country, with limited access down a loooong bumpy road. And the keys included not only our SINGLE set of car keys, but several others that were work-related and very hard to replace.
We called Christianson because we'd heard of them through friends, and they sent two of their most experienced plumbers right away; one was Jerry, a master plumber . They found the place quickly, brought all the right equipment, and found the keys at the end of the pipe run, 30 feet from where they went in the toilet. Impossibly quickly. Disaster averted!
Of course, they couldn't stop laughing at how my wife managed to drop such a huge bunch of keys in there, and how she managed to flush them in the first place. But after all was said and done, my wife was ready for the big dollar hit. Then, SHOCK....they charged such a reasonable rate that we couldn't believe it.
It was a desperate situation for us, and could have cost us a lot of money, and many plumbers might have been tempted to gouge a customer in that situation. But these guys were so gracious and fair, not to mention efficient and competent, that it turned a horribly tense situation into one of the nicest moments in my wife's week.
Huge thanks to the folks at Christianson.

UPDATE: restoration 1 did a great job of repairing the damage Radiant Plumbing caused to my home. But I did have one last bad interaction with Radiant. At the end of the remediation, they sent a plumber to reset a toilet that had been taken off to lay some flooring. The plumber took a chunk of drywall that was covering the pipe and busted it up into little pieces and shoved it down the pipe because he didn't know what it was. First of all, what kind of plumber doesn't know what a piece of drywall looks like, and second of all if they don't know what something is why would they break it into little chunks and shove it down the toilet drain?!? I was completely flabbergasted, and just relieved for them to finally not step foot on my property ever again. You guys are seriously leaving yourselves open to liabilities if you continue to employ this caliber of technician. Unbelievable.
-------
I was initially happy with Radiant. Unfortunately, the plumber made a dumb mistake and caused some water damage in the course of the repair. Luckily, Radiant has a relationship with Restoration One to remediate any damage caused by their plumbers. Restoration One has been great, but we are now 5 weeks past when Radiant finished their job, and I'm still not back to normal. So, a 4 day plumbing job turned into 5 weeks of steady interruptions from additional contractors fixing Radiant's mistake. Hoping to be back to normal on Monday, 5 weeks + 3 days after service. I will stop recommending them to my friends and family, and won't use them again.

Extremely expensive. See the breakdown below. I paid 45$ for the consult and was shocked at the quote so I decided to shop around. The labor to fix the control issue was $500. And quoted $2400 to replace entire heater. They say their quality is good but I am not one to comment on that. All I got was a quote from them. I ended up doing the install myself for 33% of the cost.
Here is their breakdown compared to homedepot. You can judge for yourself.
1st plumbing-
Water heater: $1100 Rheem 40 gal short
Expansion tank: $250
Drip pan : $140
Reroute drip pan: $170
Replace supply line and valve: $220
Replace gas line and drip leg: $150
City inspection: $260
Homedepot prices for parts only-
Water heater: $419 Rheem 40 gal short
Tank: did not need replacing. If did $50
Drip pan: $20
Reroute: $10
Replace supply line: did not need replacing
Replace gas line: $20
Drip leg: replacement not needed $30
Labor (pro plumber friend): $300
The drip pan replacement was enough to cause me to write this review. $20 pan installed for $310. It is literally just an aluminum pan. I then noticed they stated they needed to replace the supply line and valve due to a leak. However the leak they pointed out was on the hot water supply. Not the water supply which he stated needed to be welded in and new valve replaced. I had a plumber friend look at it and said it is 100% good. It just needed a new gasket to stop the leak it had at the connection to the tank.
They scared me with the expectation I needed new pipes, welding, and there were gas codes which my house was not up to code on. Many specialty services a plumber would do. However there was no welding needed and a gas line was 100% to code.
Other quotes also were high from other companies. In the range of $1400-1800 but do not be fooled. Do your research. If uncomfortable with install buy all parts and hire the installation labor separately.

Well, I signed up for the Sadie plan going to be a priority. Took 5 scheduled appointments to have the plumbing inspection. Second A/C service mold in air exchanger. Followed there recommendations to replace the air exchanger. Today have water running through my ceiling. I go into the attic and find the overflow tray full of water and insulation. It was clean before the work. Also a metal section that connects the air returns to the cooling unit/air exchanger was laying on the floor. Always good to be pulling in hot attic air.
I called for an emergency service and am told tomorrow at eleven is the earliest appointment. I have water running through my ceiling from there apparent poor work and 100 degrees. I ask to speak with a supervisor and was told a supervisor will call me within 24 hours. Sure am glad I am a priority. What a joke!
Update 6/13/2022 at 2:15 pm-
The 11:00 appointment on Sunday was a bust they for got to schedule it.
New appointment Monday 0900-1100.
Then messaged changed to 12:00 -12:30.
It's 2:20 and still no one.
Promise a supervisor call within 24 hours, it's been 39 hours and no supervisor call.
The owner responded on Yelp asked for address then no follow up.
Sure am glad I am a priority with the Sadie Plan.
Update 6/13/2022- At 2:50 pm a supervisor called.
At 6:00pm a Technician arrived and fixed my issue.
No charge.
Dave the technician was great and put me back into my happy place after 46 hours of frustration.

They didn't show up, I gave them all day to make it to my home. The receptionist didnt even know my name, they were only pulling my appt up by an address instead of my name. Horrible customer service, lack of attention to detail and personable customer service. They called me at 3:47 and asked whether or not my home had a warranty which i do not know why this is any of their concern if the home has a warranty or not when all i scheduled was a service. They received a loan from the government to cover their operational expenses so COVID 19 is just a crutch if thats what they are going to blame for their technician not showing up to my home. I would look elsewhere, for the sole reason of lack of personable skills from their service receptionists. They didnt even know my name. Fucking ridiculous when they want you to spend upwards of 4k dollars for systems they install. I dont see this company surviving the pandemic.

Called to have A/C checked since it wasn't cooling. Let them know it was under warranty. Was told the tech would call to set up an appt for the next morning for a free diagnostic. That didn't happen. In fact, I wasn't contacted until the next afternoon, but I missed the call. When I returned the call, the dispatcher couldn't reach the tech and assured me he would call me back. A different person called me back later and they were not the tech, they were more of a sales person who asked the same questions I answered when I first called. Only this time apparently when you have a unit that's only 5 yrs old, they want to do a complete top to bottom look at everything including the ducts in the attic. I stopped him and asked if I'm supposed to pay for all that. He then told me it's all covered under their $59.99 service call fee that I was told about. Of course I was never told that and of course a fairly new unit doesn't need all that invasive colonoscopy-like look. That's when I ended the call. I did have a reputable repair person come out today for free and all I need is a new thermostat.
