Best Electric Furnace Installation in Austin TX

Just had a terrific experience with Stan's. Austin in August is the time for A/Cs to blow, and mine did. On a Friday night at 6 pm. I called ARS, with whom we have had positive experiences, but they called back to say that they couldn't get a technician to us until tomorrow. With the house already at 88 degrees inside and two small kids, we decided to call around and try our luck.

Left a msg on Stan's emergency line at around 7 pm, a technician called me back right away, was here within an hour, and the A/C is fixed by 9 pm.  I am happy to pay a bit of an up-charge for after-hours service when it is prompt, efficient, and effective. My family can sleep tonight in their own beds = awesome.

I called on Friday afternoon with a non-emergency and they got a plumber out within the hour at no additional charge. He came and found the easiest fix possible for the problem I was having. He then went above and beyond by asking if there was anything else he could look at or help with while he was out there. He even taught me how to fix some problems on my own before adding that I could also just call him with any questions. He was so honest and helpful that I signed up for the yearly maintenance plan for both plumbing and HVAC. Who knew your water heater needed to be serviced yearly?! There was a $115 discount for signing up for both plans together and I feel it is going to be well worth it. I'm so happy I called the Honest guys!

Had a water leak in yard..called and made an appointment and scheduled..I was called and they had a serviceman finishing a job nearby and rescheduled me for an earlier time which was great.
Frank Morales, the serviceman arrived ,saw the leak area and proceeded to dig to locate...tree roots and rocks were removed and leak located...Frank has a shop vac which removed the water and PVC piping with connections were put in place and leak was fixed. Due to very wet conditions,roots and rocks encountered leak repair took 3-4 hours.
Frank was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable about the turn offs and options available.
Very pleased with repairs and will contact Daniel's Plumbing for future plumbing and AC repairs needed.

Fox was very thorough and sent a wonderful tech to our condo;
he was very helpful as we'd been using the wrong filters and also
informed us about new products and different options for air cleaners, etc.

We had them come out yesterday to clean & repair our home AC system.  From the phone to the repairs very friendly and professional people.  Very happy with their work & I was not charged one penny over the quoted price. Highly recommend them!

I used ABC's residential pool services to repair the main swimming pool pump. The pump is 10 years old and had started to leak when the motor failed on a Saturday. As this is the main filter pump I wanted it repaired as soon as possible and didn't have time to repair it myself. I called several larger pool services companies, but apparently they don't answer their phones at the weekend. ABC does and they got my business.

The appointment was scheduled 4 days from the phone call. The Pool Technician replaced the pump motor, a failed circuit breaker and seal (to stop leaks). Total cost $551. Compared to me doing the work myself I consider this excellent value. If I had done the work myself, I would have bought a complete pump at $600 (+Sales Tax), plus several hours of my time. ABC quoted their hourly rate at $95 per hour (July 2014), which is not unreasonable.

ABC will be getting more of my business.

I called for my septic sewer line and lantz's lakeside plumbing did a wonderful job.  They found the issue in a matter of minutes and were priced right. Chris was very responsive and I appreciated his honesty and integrity. I will be using this company for many years to come when in need.

They installed a new heater/AC system and gave me a new water heater for me (temporary deal)! Martin talked me through the process and even called me back in the evening in order to get me out the door quickly the next morning. And the the guys that installed the systems were totally professional and very fast. The whole process took 36 hours.

Way overpriced. WAY over priced. I'll say it again WAY OVER PRICED! I had a two technicians for 45 minutes look at the breaker for my utility room and outdoor electric. They changed nothing, they fixed nothing, the LOOKED at it. It cost $470!! Nothing was done. They do flat fees, so you get charged no matter what they do. Ridiculous. My house is in the same condition it was before they came, yet I was charged almost $500. I called and talked to someone who dropped the price (supposedly, I haven't seen a refund) to $350. But still. $350 for 45 minutes of looking at my electric to deduce it wasn't worth working on. Come on. Ridiculous. I will never use them again and will vehemently not recommend them to anyone. Find someone who will come tell you the problem for a small service fee and THEN charge you for actual WORK.

One of our AC units was no longer cooling when I returned from vacation.  I used Christianson before for a plumbing problem so I called them for this problem as well.  They came out and replaced a capacitor on the unit and diagnosed a significant leak in the cooling coils. They had to replace the coolant on the unit to keep it working until the leak could be fixed.

Since the unit is pretty old and uses R22 we agreed to replace the coils and install a new Carrier unit with the newer type refrigerant.   We were able to schedule it 3 days out.  They came at 9am on Saturday morning and were out by 11:30.  They were prompt, efficient, and did a great job.  

Would definitely recommend them.

Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. I needed to have 2 water heaters shocked to get rid of built up sediment and eliminate to sulphur smell that was always present in the hot water.

I called Radiant and set up an appointment.  They came out on time and began work.  The water heaters were drained and the sediment came out.  Then they used vinegar instead of chlorine to shock the water heaters for the sulphur.  The charge was $350 and I paid the bill and thought we were good.

It lasted for about 5 days and then the rotten smell came back.  I called them to have the work re-done.  The morning of the second appointment they called to tell me that they don't use chlorox for heater shocking treatment.

The supervisor called a little while later and we talked.  I said I would prefer to have both water heaters shocked properly to get rid of the smell, or if they can't, refund the money.  He said the General Manager will call me later.  

Well, it's been a week and nothing.  I'm out $350 and I still have a sulphur smell from the hot water coming from the faucets.  Now I need to have another plumber come in to do the job right.

This time I lost....and their follow through is non existent.

Chris was early (yep, you read that correctly) and walked me through options and pricing for the repair of my toilet shutoff valve. He was honest, professional and super quick. I should point out this was an emergency call on a holiday weekend the night before a hard freeze...so I was lucky to find anyone to come out. While this wasn't an inexpensive visit, it was made painless by Chris and the office staff. I highly recommend them!

Great radio commercials but poorly run operation. Requested plumber for replacing a kitchen sink. They came out, charged me the 89$ fee to assess the problem. Gave me a quote. All I did was request a more detailed estimate with break down of cost of labor, cost of parts. I called the office, I called the plumber, I emailed the company. I was given the run around daily about them working on it. Never came through. Went with another company. Don't waste your time. Look elsewhere.

We had a cold snap complete with freezing rain and electrical outages. Our lights went off and so did our heater. However, the lights came back on but not the heater. I called that Wednesday and they came out Thursday morning to access the problem. The motor went out on the heater, so we replaced it. We expected it would be Friday before the job could be done and we'd be heading to a hotel. But they came that afternoon and installed the new one.
I have never seen two young men work harded to make sure everything worked the way it should.
We even took out their rescue plan which saves us money from the home warranty we canceled.
I would highly recommend Jon Wayne Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone who has any kind of issue.

Had Elmers come out for the system check the tech really pushed a new unit, said mine was in super bad shape. Need freon that wasn't carried anymore, compressors were bad etc., said it would be over $700 Get it up to par, and could literally go any day.
 Any day turned out to be that afternoon because after he went up and checked everything he reversed the wiring which made my AC system stopped working. I know this to be a fact because I had another AC tech that I've used for years come out and said someone switched and reverse your wiring. Once he got everything wired correctly, he went and checked my unit and said I had plenty of Freon my compressors are running fine and the unit was good to go.
I called Elmers and told him that I didn't want anymore people coming out to my house, Because they were supposed to be coming out and giving me a quote for a new unit, I spoke with a young lady who said she would pass it up to her supervisor and never did, then I had someone else call me and verify my appointment, which I told them I didn't want explained why. He was sympathetic and sorry and ask What they could do to make it right. I told him nothing that lost a customer for life, and if you value your hard-earned dollar you shouldn't use this company
