Brad is responsive, courteous, and professional. He showed up on time and contacted us to let us know that he's on his way.
We had a problem with our shower faucet. It got really difficult to turn. It turned out that some part inside was broken. Brad diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly.
We will definitely call him again if needs be.

I must say that this company is exactly what all the reviews say... Excellent customer service so far, especially from Peter the dispatcher who has been so patient with me rescheduling my appointments and taking the time to explain several options of what I am looking for and answering all my weird questions. For a dispatcher he knows his stuff about water.
Keep you all updated on my service and possible installation. Everything is a go so far. This company understands the need for clean drinking/bathing water and is not pushy... update soon!

Gilbert was too busy to get to my job in the short time frame I needed, but he answered the phone immediately and gave me two other plumber referrals, which was awesome. Seems like a great guy and I would definitely call back in the future with a little more lead time. Wish I had scheduled him sooner!

I had a couple months of high water bills and couldn't isolate the leak. Called Rooterman to take care of the issue largely based on their website. I definitely made the right decision! Misty (the sweetest person ever) answered and took care of the scheduling and had the guys out to see me quickly and efficiently handled the billing.
Curtis Kurka was the tech who showed up and his years of experience made obvious the he was the right man for the job. He took his time diagnosing my issues and went through every potential culprit prior to telling me that I needed a new main line to the house. I knew what I was in for, so I called Misty back and requested Curtis to do the work.
Curtis and his apprentice Shane Walters showed up the next business day to do the work. They use this cool text system notifying you the guys are enroute, shows a photo of the tech, a bit about themselves, and even tracking. Curtis and Shane got to work straight away and didn't waste any time. They made sure to manage expectations and kept a very clean work area.
I had the chance to talk with Curtis and Shane a bit while they were on the job and I can tell you that not only are they great guys, but these are the pros you want working on your property. I was very impressed with Shane's knowledge, work ethic, and his desire to progress in the field. Curtis knowledge is just awesome and feels like a buddy from minute one.
As I know a bit about plumbing and construction, I can tell you the work was done very well and at or above code. I wouldn't hesitate to call Rooterman again, but certainly would be asking for Curtis and Shane.

They came out promptly from the time of my request. A small job that ended up taking a bit longer due to the fact the piece was original or 35 years old and didn't want to be replaced. Ha. It works like a charm now. I am very happy.

While on a business trip in Los Angeles I got a call that water was gushing from under my rent house. Minor panic, I felt totally helpless. Called Dave and he went right out and took care of it. He turned a major problem into a minor inconvenience. I also was able to pay him when I got back. Cannot sing his praises loud enough.

I discovered a leak in my main water intake for my house one evening. Abel responded promptly with a reasonable quote and was able to get me an appointment in less than 24 hours. The work was professionally done and Abel and crew were very pleasant to deal with.

We needed to get our outside hose spigot fixed from a leak. Braulio was the best priced and responded very promptly. He replaced it and made everything really quick and easy. I will be keeping this businesses information close for the next time I need any plumbing work!

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home. He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home. Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath. He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.
In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental. My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.
And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze. We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.
In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work. Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. You are the best!!!

Another plumber told me that I needed to replace my water heater. One of the thermostats and elements had gone bad. Jim was able to replace the parts without costing me the expense of getting a new water heater. I was so happy not to have to pay thousands of dollars. Jim is truly a nice person and knows a lot about plumbing. He's very easy to talk with and takes the time to diagnose the problem and make sure everything is in good shape. At every step he explained what he was doing and why it was necessary. You won't go wrong if you call Jim.

Came back on Sunday from a weekend trip to find my A/C not blowing cool air. I opted not to use the emergency service in order to save some money so I left a message on their after-hours machine. I received a call from Donna just after 8am the next day when they open for business. They had someone out to the house three hours later and fixed my unit in under an hour. James was the name of the technician and he was prompt (in fact, he arrived before I was able to get home from work)professional, and courteous.
A colleague recommended them from work they had done as Strand Brothers a while back. He said they tended to be a little more expensive (they installed his unit), but they were completely thorough and really stood behind their work. I only had them do a relattively minor fix, but I thought the price for my repair was reasonable. I will continue to use them unless they give me reason to otherwise.

The Good:
:: it's a local business!
:: they offer regular and emergency plumbing services
:: they are very professional in communications
:: they text you with confirmation of your appointment
:: they are very effective at their jobs
:: they are licensed and insured, not some fly-by-night operation
:: the fee charged for after-hours service is reasonable (less than $200)
:: Mark/Marc (my plumber) was fantastic--very friendly, very effective at fixing the leak that happened with the line feeding into my tankless. He not only fixed the leak but improved the component that was the connector between tankless and water line so that it was a more secure, modern fitting. He also took time to explain things to me, which I always appreciate!
:: they take credit cards
:: they send you photos of the job with your receipt for good recordkeeping purposes
The Bad:
:: none
The Ugly:
:: none
Would I use them again? Absolutely yes...they are now my go-to for emergency plumbing needs, hands down. Put these guys on speed dial in your phones so when something goes awry, you don't need to look for who to use--you'll have these guys ready to go!

I have written only one other review in my 8 years of owning yelp. And I have to write a review for Plumb & Order, these guys deserve a 5/5. I used Plumb & Order for two separate issues in my home, with excellent results. Special thanks to Wyatt, who came to the house for both issues. He was extremely knowledgable and professional during the process. He kept me filled in when changes occurred, and always kept me in the loop during the fix. He also answered any and all questions I had, and explained things multiple times if I didn't understand. I like to try and learn a few things so I can be a little more handy around the home in the future. And Wyatt was able to walk me through what he was doing and how to do it if I wanted to try it again on my own. Their estimates are extremely fair and competitive. And when they give you a quote, they stick to it, even if issues arise that they didn't plan for. A job well done, I will highly recommend their services to all friends and neighbors.

I have been planning to replace my 15 year old hot water tank with some kind of Tankless Water Heater for many years. I have researched many residential and a few commercial water heaters and then read reviews. I also inquired with a number of local and a national plumbing company in Austin and what I got were a lot of excuses and reasons why they didn't think I'd want a tankless water heater!?
Jeff at Thunderbird was the first plumber I have talked to who not only sold the model I wanted and needed, but he also came to my house and gave me a written quote the same morning I contacted his company.
The system he installed (Navien 240-A) is far more advanced than what I had been reading about for years. It's a South Korean brand I have never seen before, yet it was simple to operate and very sophisticated inside. I looked up the technical details, the diagrams, and read reviews, like these here in Yelp. It's rated at 200,000 BTU's max, has a very high flow rate (11 GPM) and still works with my 1/2 inch gas line.
I had planned to have this tank installed outside my house, as they do in many commercial buildings and restaurants around here (like NXNW). However, because this tank is so efficient, the exhaust is more like my drier. It did not need expensive stainless steel vents, which can cost as much as the water heater !
My tankless system provides instant hot water, because it has a recirculation pump built-in, which worked with the existing plumbing in my house. There is no cold/hot/cold water sandwich - just a stead supply of hot water when to turn on the tap, run a shower, or fill up my whirlpool tub (which I could not do with the old 50 gallon tank).
This is a HIGH TECH UPGRADE to my home and an improvement that will reduce the cost of natural gas and wasted water. It's exactly what I wanted and the workmanship is worth showing off. I'm taking pictures and sharing them with everyone.
Kudo's Jeff !

One star for a prompt response and one for showing up when they said they would. But I've never felt so taken advantage of financially. I had a leaky toilet that required ten minutes worth of tweaking, and it cost me over $250. Recommended only for those with very deep pockets.

They showed up on time. Great communication. A couple mistakes that were promptly corrected. Olvin was very nice and followed through with everything he said. I'd recommend again. Thank you.

Nick was the first company to call us back out of the 5 I called. He was prompt, friendly, explained everything to us, funny, excellent work, sweet sweet man. We have found our new Plumber and will proudly recommend him to anyone searching for a plumber.
