Best Solar Water Heater Installation in Honolulu HI

Our newly installed kitchen sink was leaking.  The contractor that installed it struggled for almost eight hours it fix it.  Within two weeks it was leaking again.  I called Little Big Plumbing to fix it.  In less than 1 hour the job was done, up to code.  It was refreshing to see what a professional plumber can do.  Well done Mike, highly recommended!

Update! As per their response below, Waialae Plumbing issued me a refund for their service call, which I sincerely  appreciate. As I said everyone was very cordial, I simply wish they would've given me a heads up and I could've saved their servicemen a trip. Trust me it wasn't the money, but the refund is a tremendous gesture and worth me giving them a second chance. Kudos and thank you!

$62 for opening their truck door!
My kitchen sink was clogged this am. I checked the trap and used a small 15' snake but neither worked so I called Waialae Plumbing as I'd seen there trucks around. I explained the situation in detail and the receptionist (who was very cordial) took my info and said they could come out today and their dispatcher would call me back. She also said there'd be a $59 service call for coming out (which is more than reasonable) and after the serviceman assessed, he'd give me a price. They called shortly after and said they were on the way. All great so far. The serviceman pulled up, got out of his truck and said he needed to use the snake and that would cost $480!?!? Almost $500 to snake a drain? C'mon guys. I said thanks but no thanks. Now this is America and you can charge what you like BUT, if you knew (which they obviously did) the convo should have been the service charge is $59, sounds like they'll need to snake it and if they do that will be $500. Anyway I paid the $62, walked to Safeway, bought a bottle of Drano and 15min later was washing dishes! My condo needs a complete remodel, wanna guess who I won't be calling?

Owner Jeffery, and his crew, swooped into our 2 story 1950's built house. I had a laundry list of things that my siblings wanted done.    His crew changed out  galvanize pipes to copper pipes that led to every sink and bath in the main house.  That really fixed the low water pressure problem!  Unclogged drains that have been an issue for so long.  Installed toilets and hot water heaters in no time flat. Built a economy minded surround shower to replace an aged stall. My brothers kept him busy with abrupt  decisions to replace faucets.  He followed our  wishes to keep things simple, and even pointed out that some things didn't need replacing. Jeff is a very knowledgeable plumber.  In the future, I'm going to hire him again for the things he said didn't need replacing yet.  ( Oh yeah, his crew even found a old crumpled twenty dollar bill for me. ).  Most of all, he and his crew behaved very professional and grateful for the work.

I had a toilet leak. He was Very quick to respond, reliable, and very Reasonable pricing! I definitely  will go to him for all my plumbing needs.

Jason and company were totally amazing, I wish I could give them 6 stars.  

I was at my parents house yesterday afternoon.  We noticed that when one toilet is flushed, the other would overflow.  The sewer was backed up!  This means they had no toilet/shower/anything.  My dad lifted the toilet to get to the sewer line directly and still no luck.  No luck through the cleanout either. I had to find a plumber fast because my mom is having some health/memory issues, and it would be very difficult for my parents if they didn't have a functioning system.

I started to call around to find a plumber and noticed JNJ was located close to my parents house.  I called, and he had some of his guys close by and available, they showed up within 20 minutes and began working on it.  They were both very professional and cool, but unfortunately after trying for over an hour, the blockage was still immobile, the auger and snake couldn't do it.  They said they needed bigger equipment to clear it, and would have to have Jason (owner) stop by later.  

Jason was on other side of island, but he called and said he was finishing up a job and would be there after.  He showed up around 6pm, I believe with his son.  I had to leave already but my dad told me how they worked and worked on the pipe for a long time and finally were able to make it through the blockage.  They're still not sure what it was, but my dad was so happy with their service.  They spent awhile cleaning up, resetting the toilet/wax seal my dad had pulled, and making sure everything was working.  This must have been the end of a very long day for them as I think it was past 7pm when they finished.

My dad is sort of old school, like he hates having things done by other people because he still thinks he can still do everything himself.  But after seeing the hard work JNJ did and how great of a job they did, he was telling me how happy he was that he used them.  He also said their price was very reasonable.

I've had a few plumbing jobs here and there on my own place, and never found a place I'm 100% happy with, but now with JNJ I've found a new plumber that I would highly highly recommend.  My dad said he will also be using them in the future if he needs more help.

So our shower head was leaking and leaking quite a bit, called leaks r us and got an appt by the next morning. Tim came out and did a great job. Not only professional but friendly and explained everything. I'll definitely use this business again!

Great service, and very efficient! Quicker than we thought it would be. Saved us a whole lot of frustration and time! Now we have peace of mind, which made it all worth it! Would definitely recommend to all our friends and family!

**This is an update to my last review. After they finally showed up, I was very satisfied with Duke's professionalism and work. They spent a lot of time looking into the leak and even left their supplies behind to make sure that it was all dried up. Unfortunately, the leak came back and I had to call for them to come back out. The receptionist and the team was very helpful in fitting me in last minute. Unfortunately, it turned out that the shower was not properly tiled (which is not something EPS could help with) and not the pipes. But, I appreciate Lyle coming out last minute and figure out the issue for us! Their work is excellent.

The reason for the 3 star final review is that I think the business as a whole needs to work on time management. Please try to show up within the window of time that is scheduled. Customer's also have schedules to keep and most people do not have a whole day at their disposal. If you are going to be late, I think it would be helpful to call within the window of time scheduled and ask the customer if they're either okay with waiting or rescheduling. That way neither the customer nor the plumber will be as inconvenienced. Thanks!

I called for a refill valve for my toilet.  I told them my building maintenence had already replaced the flapper today.  I also said I have an OEM replacement for the valve, just need a plumber to install it.  They said they would require a complete rebuild (even of the just replaced part) for a total of $225 for a fairly simple problem.  I am not comfortable with throwing away new parts, and maximizing a straight forward job.  The dispatcher also kept wanting photos from a well known toilet (Toto) and a well known condominium building before scheduling.

This company gets five stars all around. David and his crew are polite, efficient, and they know what they are doing.  They quickly took care of a broken pipe in our front yard professionally and quickly.  Later that same day, a chance conversation with David  about some warm tiles on the kitchen floor quickly became a disaster averted.  There was a hot water leak under our floor and we didn't know it. (The warm spot had been getting bigger over three months). This could have been a nightmare repair job, but David knew that a reroute of the hot water pipes would save us money and time.  We are grateful and relieved that we found Mac's Plumbing on yelp. Dave and Mike were very helpful.

At 1st Jack was prompt and did the job.  TheN he kept no show no call so I got up set.  I called some of the other people that bid on my job and they critiqued the job that he did so I got rid of him.  If he didn't refund some of the money it would be negative  feedback.  Bye gones...

Alex, the OWNER of the company so friendly over the phone and offered free estimate, but WHAT he was a NO SHOW shame on you!!! Don't talk highly about big projects you accomplished when you GHOSTS us with no response back even on text. You got my address so no hate and retaliate when it's your fault!

Did not use the service.  I just wanted to make a complaint about one of your drivers who cut me off this morning.  I was leaving the airport, making my way to H3 and one of your drivers almost made me hit another car as he crossed over in front of me.

This is not good for your business.

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
