Outrageous service fee and wanted to charge twice as much as I actually got it fixed for.  Also wanted to repair through a kitchen sink, when the problem was in the main line. Will not advise to call.

I called a few plumbers to come out to my new house. JJ was the only one of the three who was flexible to come out on my schedule.

James (JJ) kept me up to date, sent pictures of the work and gave me the price that I thought was very fair.

He finished the job in a short time and for a good price. Fair and honest.

We had been wanting to replace some outside faucets and install a laundry sink but had no idea of how complicated or costly the projects we had thought about would be.
Stephen came out and discussed our options with us and gave us a reasonable estimate.
Alto at this time we still haven't decided which way we want to go we feel that we understand the steps involved in each project.
Stephen was not only knowledgeable but also friendly and courteous.

Justin was so readily available! We had an emergency and he immediately gave our case PRIORITY! He was very personable and prices were very reasonable. Justin went beyond the call of duty in not only addressing the immediate situation; he made sure EVERYTHING pertaining to the issue was in tip-top shape before leaving. He gave a description of how the issue resulted and what needed to be done in great detail to get it back to working properly. He made sure we understood what was exactly going on and what needed to get done. He made sure the place was left CLEAN and in order.  This company is well worth it's weight in gold and I cannot stress enough my HIGH RECOMMENDATION of this company's services and COMMITMENT to making certain the customer is PLEASED BEFORE leaving. Quick response, courteous and very knowledgeable. We couldn't have asked for better service. We have called them twice for emergency situations and they have repaired the issue quickly and very reasonably.

This Company build a very nice (looking) pool house for us, but they did not take care of the foundation work, grade it properly, and it floods every time it rains, now it has mildew. I contacted the company but they did not come fix it.

Per Cheryl of Hall Well & Plumbing, Pumps may not even last a month or a year. The quote above is a frightening insight into how the company's representative characterizes the parts and services provided. She was not motivated to maintain me as a customer or find common ground on exorbitant labor costs and faulty repairs.

The business provided inferior service on a well installed by them and charged excessive labor to correct problems from the bad installation.

Per the well tag, my well was installed in January 2007 by Hall Well & Plumbing. In March 2012, my faucets began to run dry and I appeared to be receiving no water from the well. I opened the valve at the well pump and received no water, indicating that the pump was likely not functioning properly.

As Hall installed the well, I felt it appropriate to request service from them, hoping familiarity with the property might decrease service time and foster a relationship. The dispatcher received my call Monday morning and two service technicians arrived a few hours later. Both the dispatcher and the technicians took note of my issue with obtaining water at the pump. A couple hours later, the technicians replaced the tank and switch and my water appeared to be flowing fine. My family and I were surprised to find that replacing the tank would have corrected the problem.

In April 2012, I incurred the same problem on a Friday afternoon. I called Hall and notified them of the identical problem. The dispatcher noted her men can help the next morning. The dispatcher did not notify me that labor rates on Saturday were different from Monday (the date of my previous service). As the dispatcher was unable to help me during the time I called, and did not offer night-time/emergency service, it appeared I was receiving standard service with delayed response. The company maintains an emergency telephone line which I did not utilize.
Two men arrived early Saturday morning and focused on repairing the well pump. The men detached the pump, noting it may be faulty, and took it with them as they left my property. The men returned almost 2 hours later and stated the pump had failed beyond repair and stated the best option was to replace it with another pump they had went and picked up. They replaced the pump and water appeared to be flowing fine. One of the servicemen called the dispatcher and reported his materials used for the repair and requested payment. Upon their departure, I noticed a landscape lighting fixture beside the well pump was damaged beyond repair (broken plastic).

I called the business the following Monday morning, requesting to speak with a manager regarding my charges and the overall inferior service. I was told someone would call me back. After multiple attempts to speak to an appropriate person and after speaking with multiple individuals, on Friday of the same week, four days after my initial request for clarification on the charges, I was told that all charges were appropriate and adequate.

Jeff Agnew is a life saver. We had a totally blocked main sewer line and Jeff worked us in to his already full work schedule to come to our rescue. In intense heat and in a small, cramped basement work space he worked to exhaustion trying to unblock the line. Unfortunately, the blockage was apparently beyond the reach of his cable line. But he would not give up on us. He said he would add additional length to his cable line and return the next day to continue his efforts. Good to his word, he returned the next day and attacked the problem again. This time he was successful!
His timely , conscientious and compassionate work allowed us to return to our normal life. I highly recommend  Jeff Agnew to anyone seeking a really competent and caring plumber. Dan Patterson, Burlington, NC.

I called them out to replace a warped toilet flange. I was advised there would be a $90 service charge to come out to quote even though the scope of work was quite simple. They arrived and wanted to inspect all baths and faucets. We did identify an outside faucet that had a slow leak. They then went to their van for 25 minutes to work up some options. They came in and tried to sell me on a membership with lower service charges and then showed me the options. To replace one outside faucet and replace one $5.00 toilet flange was $2610.00! To replace just the toilet flange and have us install the toilet was $861.00! This is literally a 45 minute job. I paid the $90.00 service fee and would not recommend you call these guys as they are not reasonable at all. They also have a finance plan which is probably how they get away with these crazy prices. It is sad that people get abused by this type of process. Beware!

I had a disappointing experience with Edwards and Mills. They fixed a toilet, only for it to do the same thing it did before I called them and they have not followed thru and tried to fix it, after I called them numerous times to tell them it's still broken. They are VERY expensive. I do not recommend them.

Would not recommend. Difficult to get a hold up. You can't speak with anyone local. First encountered them at a local baseball game. I have numerous rental properties and they ask for my business. But you call a number and get someone who will just lie to you when they answer the phone. They won't let you speak with anyone locally. so if you want to do business with someone in another state to doesn't really care about you, maybe give them a try but they're not local. They asked me for my business for all of my properties and I said I would give them a call and talk to them but when I called, they refused to let me speak with anyone and told me I can send an email.
