I needed a plumber quickly.  I put out a search on Yelp.  X-Act (Daniel) was the first to call.  We agreed to a time for that day.  He showed up and hunted down the leak under the kitchen sink.  Turns out it was something easy to fix, especially if you know where to look.  Danny was very communitive letting me know what was going on.  If I need something else done, I will call Daniel.

Jonathan F came out to replace a hot water heater at the Preston and Park location of one of our Sunstone studios. He did an absolutely amazing job. His service, expertise, knowledge and overall joy for what he was doing left me with a feeling of utter confidence. We will use him again and again and recommend him to anyone. Just call A-2 and ask for Jonathan!!!!!!

Emilio with Maintenance Mechanical of Texas is a rock solid reliable plumber. We have relied on his services 3-4 times over the last year due to an older  house that we bought.  He was able to fix a poorly poured toilet pipe that was leading to back-flow into our shower, from a no -qualified contractor. Emilio fixed that in 2 days and at a reasonable price compared to other quotes. A few months later, Emilio was able to fix a slab leak in another part of our home. Emilio communicates the issues clearly, is reliable and courteous, and really works with his customers to get to the root of their problems. We plan to use him on all plumbing & gas repairs or plumbing home improvements in the future.

We had Steven's come out for broken zones in our sprinkler system. We were super impressed with the work. The reason for the low rating is now that we need his services again we have not been extended the courtesy of a return call or text. Despite leaving several messages on both numbers. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. Hopefully all is well for Steven and we are the exception not the rule.

I suffered some major plumbing issues and had the great fortune of coming upon Nikki's Plumbing Company. As a single female, I felt super comfortable having her work in my house, she is absolutely approachable and doesn't make you feel like an idiot for having no idea what is going on. She is very meticulous and very good at explaining exactly what will need to happen and how long the work will take. She is more than reasonable cost wise and I feel like her work is way above and beyond what I have received from other plumbers in the past. I would not hesitate to recommend her to a friend and, in fact, I have numerous times!

Good news: They arrived at the time that they promised on the phone, and they fixed the problem.

Bad news: The job took far longer than it should have, and I was paying by the hour.

One star *would* have been my rating, but I am giving them three, as they were willing to negotiate with me on the price after-the-fact.  I sent a straightforward non-antagonistic letter to them 48 hours later (after we'd both had time to cool-off) and they did refund part of their original bill back to me.  I still feel that I was overcharged for the job, but at least it wound up being moderately high instead of outrageously high.

Painful lesson that I have learned: No matter how simple the job appears, do not let work begin without an estimate.  (And it was a simple job, not just in my own opinion, but also that of a city plumbing employee.  It is a mystery to me, even now, to understand why the job took as long as it did.)  Had I requested an estimate up-front, they would have been much more likely to quote a fair price, and stuck to it, regardless of how long the job took.  Live and learn.

We highly recommend Schlegel Plumbing! Bret and Allen are honest, reliable, and responsive. They have come to our rescue more than once on very short notice. Recently, Bret helped us diagnose some drainage issues related to our washing machine, he went as far as to help me call a restoration company to patch things up after. Thank you, Schlegel Plumbing!

I don't write many reviews but after reading the one from Jennifer V (who seems angry) I just couldn't pass on writing an accurate review.
Most of her reviews are 1 star because she wasn't served as quickly as she apparently deserves. Jen, sometimes things just happen. I'm sure your life is perfect but that's not the way this broken world works. .. I'm  VERY glad my plumbers were driving fast to get to my house! I'll take that over slow driving every day....Sorry Jen V but they couldn't have picked a better person to annoy with fast driving. It's ironic that you complain about slow service AND fast service. Are you just a mad unhappy person? Hope you recover. You must be one of those South Pole Elfs.

Had a problem with the outside faucet at our house. They answered the phone on the second ring and had the technician at our house in 1.5 hours! Quintin was a pro and very comprehensive. He told us what it would take to fix the problem and was on time and on the money! Great company and great people to deal with. Thanks!

Highly Recommended. We have been using David McKinley's - Mid Cities Plumbing for years now and we have always gotten good service. We used to have way to many large trees and the roots were constantly clogging our sewer line drain. They sent out Dwayne who always came out promptly and did a great job. We used to use one of the big name plumbers but you never knew who you were going to get and their rates were out of sight

Recently I purchased two new toilets and a hot water heater. Their lead installer, Larry came  out and did a very professional job. He even took the time to grout around the new toilets. This was an all day job but he hung in there and got it all done. Their rates are reasonable and they don't try to up-sale you.

I called Mark to do a small job that needed to be done that day or the next. He sent 2 guys out THAT day and got it done. Fast, reasonably priced. Can't ask for more. And, Mark returns calls and does what he says; unlike some of his competitors.

This guy is a gem that I found here on Yelp. He is enormously reasonable, enormously responsible, enormously knowledgeable and enormously honest. I am sold on him. Never had a better plumber in my life.

I can't say enough good things about Sheffield Plumbing. I called them late in the evening about a problem I had in my rent house - not an emergency but certainly need to be taken care of quickly - and they promised that be out within two days. On the morning of the second day, the field guy called me to let me know he was on the way out there, fixed the problem, and then called me with the results. Their rates are reasonable and their service impeccable. If you have a plumbing issue in the Oak Cliff area, be sure to call these good people!!

Daniel was quick to respond, on time and professional. Best price out of the two other plumbers I called. Will definitely use again for future plumbing needs.

Absolutely outstanding service.. called with a clogged pipe , there were here in less then 30 minutes. Honest and respectful. I've used this service before but never had the time to post a review.. well I am now . Y'all need a professional?? I had a very complex plumbing issue that required Tim and Chris to come out several times. They were timely neat and clean and worked hard to get to the bottom of my plumbing issue. It required the camera to be run twice. They did not rip me off! I appreciate them taking good care of me until we figured out the whole issue!

Never used this plumbing company before, they showed up on time and diagnosed problem, fixed it in about 20 to 30 min.

I had my units serviced by this company after moving into my home less than a year at which point I had a complete inspection done on AC. I wanted to make sure it was ready for Summer. The technician serviced both units and said everything checked out great. around 3 weeks later I woke up on Mothers Day to find my ceiling wet and water dripping from a clogged AC line. I contacted the company and was told the original tech didn't work there and they'd send someone out. Once the new technician came he said in fact I had a clogged line, I asked him if it was checked on the previous service call and he said it's part of the inspection but wasn't noted on the form and only the other AC unit was noted the line wasn't clogged. I reached out to the manager and he basically said it wasn't their fault and took NO accountability for it. They said since they didn't install the unit it wasn't their fault and charged me $280 To clear the line!! I tried to reach out again and left a message for the customer service manager and no response. Now I have a damaged ceiling and thought I did everything to prevent this and still have to pay. would NOT recommend this company AT ALL.
