Lambright Electric is a Residential service company specializing in panel and meter upgrades, adding new lighting, switches, outlets, circuits. We install recessed lighting, light fixtures, smoke detectors, dimmer switches, smart switches, ring doorbell and ring flood lights, whole home surge protectors, landscape lighting. With 30 years experience we are very proficient at troubleshooting problems and remodel and addition type work. I do not do ANY commercial work.

Great service from Phillip! Installed recessed lighting throughout the entire downstairs and it looks beautiful. He was very thoughtful in his measuring and placing of each fixture (24 total). Additionally, a few of the lighting fixtures turned out to be defective and he replaced them without question. Great service before, during, and after the install. And very competitive pricing :) Highly recommend!

Phillip is great. He and his assistant Wally were able to do everything we wanted - which was nice compared to some of our previous electricians we have had in the past who said we weren't able to do things with smart devices and switches that Phillip and Wally had no trouble with.
Even better is that Phillip has very reasonable prices. So not only was he able to do more than other electricians had for us in the past, Phillip did it for less!
Phillip also cares about customer service, too. His assistant made a slight mistake with a wire on one of the smart home smoke detectors we had them install - which we also missed noticing at first due to the simple fact that the detector also has a battery backup and technically seemed to be functioning fine until I set up internet and the detector reported itself as not having AC power.
Anyway, I called Phillip who helped me troubleshoot it to make sure it wasn't a faulty detector, and once it was determined it wasn't, Phillip came out and fixed it himself early the next business day morning.
He even helped me by installing another outdoor security light at my request since he was already there.
Lambright Electric helped me out with an outlet that I thought was going bad. The electrician was very knowledgeable and helpful. I'll definitely use this company for any electrical issues in the future. Thank you!

Installed 2 outdoor and 2 indoor lights quickly and made it look easy! They were super polite and respectful (even though we probably weren't the best clients with a crying baby and 2 barking pups). Would gladly use them again!!
Phillip was very helpful, and very thorough. He came to replace 8 smoke alarms, and was very informative throughout the whole process. He helped me look at a fan just because I mentioned it, and he was thoughtful enough to remind me to send our dog outside when we tested the smoke alarms :-) I would definitely use him again for any electrical needs!
Phillip went above and beyond for us. He gave us initial guidance over the phone to troubleshoot the issue, and then even after the repair was complete, he regularly followed up with us, the city inspectors, and utilities to ensure we had our power back up. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lambright Electric to anyone who needs professional, responsive work done.
Phil was able to find and fix the poorly spliced wire that kept my chandelier from working the past year. I had another electrician out before him and he could not find the problem. Phil was able to maneuver through the catacombs area of my attic to find the junction box above the chandelier and make a repair. Phil is very friendly to work with and his fee's are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend you trying Lambright Electric!

Phillips is awesome. Half of the outlets in my bed room lost electricity and he was able to trace the wires and find the exact location where the wire could be broken. When he opened the dry wall, the nail was right there . Five star for his service in 2020 July and also 2019 Jul.
Set a time and spent quite a bit of time discussing the issue. Never showed and stopped responding. Wasted a lot of my time after giving him a chance. Have a backup plan if dealing with this guy.
I scheduled Philip at 10 pm and he was able to come to my house first thing the next morning. Unlike most electricians after I described my problem he was able to give me an estimate. Most others wanted to charge a fee just to come out on top of whatever work was required.
His prices were reasonable and I would definitely use him for future electrical work.
Philip was incredible. I needed something fairly simple done, but when I first started getting quotes I felt like the price didn't match the work scope. Philip came back with not only the best price, but was great with communication and taught me a little bit about how my home was wired.
Before you commit to another company, give Phillip a call. You won't regret it.

Philip reached out to me the same day after leaving a message and came by the same day to service my issue. As a lot of homes in Texas,we have these very high ceilings and reaching a smoke alarm that is 30 ft in the air might prove to be a feat.
However,this professional greeted me and wore shoe covers. Asked what the issues were,very pleasant to chat with and went right to work. He didn't waste my hours,he worked tediously to get the job done right at a honest rate for the work on the detectors and replacing them. He offered savvy tips on what to put in place of what builders usually install because trust me that noise is quite annoying all night,I think I started to dream about them-good grief!! He doesn't seem to know much about Yelp,so fellow Yelpers give this kind company a call he's one of the best electricians I've encountered in the industry!
I needed a new breaker box installed and inquired with a few places for quotes and Lambright got back to me right away and gave me more far more detail and was much more personal than the other companies, so I was more comfortable going with him from the start. The quote was fair and he got the work scheduled according to my availability, he was on time and very professional and actually got the work done earlier than expected... electrical work always makes me nervous but this guy clearly knows what he's doing, that was obvious from the start. He even labeled each breaker, room by room.. I've never had a house like that so I'm thrilled :)
And he is more about safety than making an extra few bucks which is pretty hard to find these days..

About seven days ago I developed a significant electrical issue at my home in Frisco. Having some significant electrical experience I was not able to troubleshoot the source of the issue. After spending multiple hours on it I decided to find a quality electrician. After doing my research I found Phillip Lambright. I was impressed by the five star ratings and the fact that Phillip helped people try to solve their problems if he could on the phone or via text. I knew my issue was significant so Phillip was able to come on Monday morning at 9 AM having only contacted him the previous Saturday. I wanted somebody well experienced and a master electrician. His 33 years of experience and master electrician status met my standard. The one thing I'll say about Phillip and Wally (his assistant) is they did not quit! My issue across multiple circuits was a challenge to diagnose with the final word being damaged wiring within a wall. PHILLIP DEVELOPED A SOLUTION! I will say this he and Wally earned their money hands-down. Can't thank you enough Phillip for the help!
If you want guy who will not quit or say I don't know Phillip is the guy you need to hire ! I highly recommend him!
What great service at a reasonable cost! He responded quickly to my text/voicemail, calling me the same day. Phil recommended upgraded can or downlights with LED bulbs; these bulbs are energy efficient and should last 5-10 years! He replaced existing lights as well as installed 4 new lights; service was prompt and as scheduled; Phil and assistant wore masks & very cautious about distancing and touching items; worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. We're so very pleased with the end result we decided to add a few more on the back & front porches. Phil was very accommodating. Great service, saving us $$ from big companies.
We had a GFI switch that was giving a lot of grief. We paid another electrician to come out to fix things; we were $300 out and the problem was unresolved. Philip was excellent from the getgo. He first spent 20 minutes helping me troubleshoot over the phone for free out of respect for my finances and safety during the pandemic. When the issue remained, he came over and spent an hour troubleshooting and going through the circuits and the GFI was working by the time he left. The GFI tripped again, however. This time he returned to service the issue free of charge as the problem remained from the previous time. In all, he found 5 different issues on one circuit and resolved all of them. I will never again get just any electrician. Philip is a licensed, master electrician, and I will be calling him for all my electrical needs here forward.
As a homeowner, I sometimes find it difficult to locate honest contractors. Phillip was very helpful with resolving an issue about a circuit breaker that my wife tripped. After Google didn't provide me with a cure, Phillip walked me through how to repair the issue on my own and it didn't cost me a dime. Their honesty and eagerness to do right by the customer is a breath of fresh air. Next time I need an electrician, Lambright Electric will be the first call that I make.
Another business that can't get its phones answered. Two calls to schedule service, made three hours apart, and both went to voicemail. I don't get the unprofessionalism of not making sure calls are answered, even if it's by a service.

Phillip was great. I tried reaching out to others and got no answer. He answered his phone directly and this was late afternoon. He got me on his schedule for the very next morning. He did exactly what he said he would and was on time and was super quick and affordable. Very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him and I myself will definitely be using him again if need in the future.
Great service! After reaching out, I honestly did not expect hear from Philip on a Saturday. Not only did he respond, but he worked us into his schedule! I love supporting small businesses and his level of service and attention to detail is exactly the reason why!
Philip was able to get my small project done extremely quick and no extra fluff! Philip fairly priced me and was quick to answer and very easy to communicate with. Would def recommend him again!

Extremely friendly and beyond helpful!! I had talked to several people and got several quotes. He sent me a text asked me to call him and walked me through how to fix it over the phone. I will definitely be adding him as my go to electrician from now on as he was honest and very helpful! I can't thank you enough for all your help!!!

I was referred to Lambright Electric by another company in town who couldn't get to my home in a timely manner due to their full schedule. Phillip responded quickly to my texts and was able to schedule an appointment that worked for both of us. He sent me a text when in route to my home and arrived when he said he would. Phillip was incredibly professional, came prepared and was able to complete the work to beyond my expectations within a relatively short period, about an hour to replace 4 outlets (2 indoor, 2 outdoor). His price was both fair and affordable, but beyond that he was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Lambright Electric and will be calling Phillip in the future with any electrical needs I may have.
Phillip was great to work with. He asked all troubleshooting questions before he got to the house so that he can be prepared for any potential fixes. I contacted Phillip Lambright at Lambright Electric after I got a begrudging (and high) quote from the electrician I had been using regularly. (I had no complaint about their quality of work either, which should be noted.)
Anyway, swayed by Phillip's 5-star ratings on Yelp, I contacted him, got an estimate right away and hired him to do the install of our low-voltage outdoor lighting system that I had purchased separately online.
We had a few delays due to HOA approval, but once all that was finished Phillip promptly scheduled the work. He was competent, diligent and honest. Highly recommended.
Mr. Lambrecht talked us OUT of hiring him. The lights in our typical suburban Plano house started flickering after the recent storms. We wanted him to come out and take a look. He refused - instead he gave us detailed instructions on how to deal with ONCOR so THEY would come fix the problem for free. Amd they did.
A really honest guy. So, thanks to our new Official Family Electrician.
Phillip was very responsive to our request and came out the same week we requested the work. Also a very friendly guy in person!
We had two ceiling fans replaced. One with another small ceiling fan (42) and the other with a flush mount. Phillip came right on time, which honestly we were surprised by since many times when we've had various services they're in a window or late, and he did a great job.
Contacted a few people in the area and found his prices were competitive and fair. Plus, the work he did was done quickly and cleanly.
We're looking to get a few more lights replaced in the future, just didn't have the replacements picked out yet, and plan to contact him again for that work as well :)

Philip was a God send! We just purchased a home in Plano and had issues getting our electricity turned on (long story). After the electric company confirmed that we indeed were getting power to the home and the electricity was still not working, we were forced to call an electrician.
Philip was very busy but took the time to return our call. I sent him a video of what the breaker panel looked like as it seemed to be my issue. After watching it he texted me with a few recommendations. These recommendations gave us the courage to try a few things and the electricity was restored!!!
Philip was a pleasure to work and I HIGHLY recommend him for all electrical needs. If he is busy, trust me, he is worth the wait!
I needed to install two new gfi outlets. I found Phillip from here. He contacted me and provided an estimate after asking a few questions. He was very responsive. The next day he came to my house on time and finished the job, as well as pointing out a few things that were not done right and fixing them too. He is very knowledgable and professional. Phillip was awesome! Responsive, punctual, professional, arrived on time and sent me a message he was on his way, worked fast and very efficiently. He gave us excellent suggestions on ways to do things to help us save money. He's a master electrician and his prices are very good. I'd say at least 40% less than most master electricians. And on top of all this, he's a heck of a nice man! We highly recommend him!
I recommend Lambright Electric. They installed a 240v and 120v outlet for me behind the wall. The cuts in the wall were clean and easy to repair. They arrived on time. They were very responsive to email and text and thorough in explaining what would be done. The price was fair. Very satisfied

I needed to get a Ring Security Camera installed. Phillips showed up on time, offered options and a reasonable price. And he is extremely knowledgeable and knows his craft. He was done in half the time, left no mess and everything looked great.

Phillip has been in the business over 30 years. He was very prompt in returning our calls and provided us with great same day service. He is very reasonably priced and is our go to electrician.
Enjoyed working with Phillip and found him through Thumbtack. Sometimes, responses are a bit hit or miss. Fortunately, he was none of that. He is priced competitively, shows up on time, and is clearly knowledgeable about his profession. He was on-time and did a great job overall. I'd recommend him highly without reservation.
Phillip came out pretty quickly after we were not getting voltage to our furnace. He came out and found the problem and fixed it right away. Even wanted to stay to make sure that our heat came back on. (it didn't but that was the job for the A/C company). Thanks so much Phillip!

Phillip ran new wiring to bypass existing faulty wiring in the kitchen. He did excellent quality work at a fair price. He took care not to damage countertops, tile backsplash and cleaned up all of his mess before leaving. Phillip Lambright will be my first call on any future electrical needs.
Phillip did a great job installing a outlet for my new tankless water heater. He also took time to provide me estimates with various options for future projects.
He is professional, honest, trusted, and easy to work with. I would definitely use him in the future and highly recommended him.
Phillip was great! It was easy scheduling an appointment to get a free estimate for the work, and he did a great job installing several can lights, an outlet behind out TV, and repairing a circuit breaker in our home. He is very knowledgeable, and was able to come up with several solutions for each of our electrical issues. He also identified a potential hazard with one of our outlets and fixed it while he was making the other repairs. He is very easy to get a hold of via phone call or text, and he makes sure that the work is done the right way and that his customers are satisfied. I called to get a quote to fix 2 outlets (one indoor and 1 outside). I talked to Phillip the owner and after giving him the details, he suggested I try turning the breaker switch on and off and then testing the outlets. I had already tried this before and the outlets did not work so I was not expecting this to solve my problem. I was surpised when the inside outlet worked after doing what Phillip suggested. I think the outside outlet is still not working because the moisture from the rain has not completely dried out but I will not hesitate to give Lambright Electric (Phillip) a call if the outside outlet is still not working after giving it time to dry out. Instead of coming out and charging a service call, Phillip gave me helpful advice that saved me money. That's integrity and I will not hesitate to give him business for any electrical in the future. I'm selling my house and needed to update some grounding to gas lines in the attic. I was under option with the buyers so than martered. I called one company who wanted to charge me well over $1,000. And couldn't do the work for weeks. Phillip came out same day to do an estimate, charged me literally one quarter of the other company, and did the work right then and there. He was professional, efficient, visually showed me everything he did and explained why he did it and I was incredibly satisfied. Good to see a guy building a business from scratch with some integrity and honesty. I highly recommend him.
Excellent work!! Mr. Lambright responded and was able to fix our wiring (that we screwed up ourselves) and an installation of a timer on the same day we requested the service. Fast, friendly, professional, and courteous! We will definitely be counting on him should we be in need of electrical works from now!

Mr Lambright was quick to respond for help with a breaker that kept tripping. He came out on a Saturday and found the problem right away. He repaired it promptly and cleaned the area up after. I thought his pricing was very fair and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
Lambright Electric was quick to respond to me and quoted me the best price for installing two recessed lights and replacing a current light fixture. The work was done quickly and professionally, and I'm satisfied with the finished product. Would definitely recommend Lambright Electric to a friend!
