While I did not use this company because they only do work on commercial buildings, they recommended us to one of the less known Bowne Electrical, who did a great job on my residence in a time crunch of 4 days

I contacted Ruiz Electric on 12/27/18. He came out on 12/28/18. He communicated with me and showed up when he said he would, everything. Super nice guy!! He found and fixed our issue pretty quickly... a loose wire in the wall. For issues we have had in the past that needed repair, I have had a hard time finding people to come to Kyle. He came out with NO issue. We will definitely use him again if ever needed. I highly suggest you use this guy!

Absolute Electric will figure out your electric troubles, and explain it in a way that we can understand. They do more than just hang a ceiling fan. They make sure it's right and safe. How come that light won't come on? Call them - They'll figure it out!

They showed up punctualy and quickly diagnosed the problem with my Service Panel Box. Laid new wire and rewired wall box and no more breakers tripping. Definitely a professional crew.

We had a small attic fire that left us with no electricity.  I called several of the electric contractors--all booked way out.  I found Allied in the BBB listing and was very impressed with their rating and time in business.  Called them-they seemed to really care that I could not live in my home, and got Mike Ming to our home the next day!  He was terrific.  He juggled some scheduling (they were booked way out also) and got two techs to us in two days and then four the day after.   All bright professionals, and friendly....and they cared. Wow.  That got the electricity back on..and we could move back in!!!   In one more visit they had it all detailed out.  Thanks to Mike and Steven and all the crew.  Oh, and after the cost for the job was reasonable, also!

It's been almost 5 years since they did a small job for me and I am still angry every time I see the thoughtless work they did. And I'm a neighbor for heaven's sake! I still have a light switch that is still not completely flush to the wall and the box is probably a little too big, but they didn't bother to get one that fit. Argh! Also, they installed a switch for me from the garage and just left everything in shambles and refused to come and at least put back what they had torn down or neaten up anything. No attention to detail. And just plain surly. Boo on them.

Our house started acting like Stranger Things all of a sudden; the lights were flickering and the fans would lose power, you could hear the fans slow down almost to a stop then speed back up to normal power.  This would happen every 30-40 seconds, it was maddening and obviously a bit worrisome. I called O.N. first thing in the morning and Oscar sent a team out within the hour. Yon and Joshua got to work immediately and found the issue, Oscar even showed up and explained everything to me.  Turned out the breaker box on the outside of the house was borked.  When Oscar turned a breaker off and back on, you could literally hear electricity crackling. Oscar gave me an estimate which I thought was fair and Yon and Joshua got to work.  After a few hours the house was no longer haunted and I had a proper breaker box set up.  I wish I had before and after pictures, my house is an older house and the previous box looked like the rusty insides of a 1970s AMC Gremlin.  

Highly recommend O.N. Electric, Oscar, Yon and Joshua saved the day.

Bob and his company did a great job installing our back porch outlets, fans and TV's a few years ago. I have recommended him and his company to many people. They do good quality work at a good value.

They have always done a fantastic job for us.  We had a home built in 1974 and had them upgrade numerous electrical issues.  They were on time and professional and did a great job!!

Tomas is an honest businessman who goes above and beyond for a very low, but fair price.  I had some electrical issues in my home and called him to come and take a look.  He gave me a very fair estimate and was back at my house a couple of days later to do the work.  It was in the middle of summer, so being that it is Austin, it was incredibly hot.  He worked nonstop and worked very hard all day until the job was finished.  He was up in the attic (again, think Austin and Summer) rewiring something in my guest room, adding an outlet and the wiring for said outlet outside, adding an outlet and the wiring in our utility room, and so forth.  I will only use CTE for my electrical work going forward.  As a person who is an independent contractor myself, all you have to go on is your honesty and you're only as good as your last job.  Tomas is as honest and does better work than most anyone I have come across, in any field.  I highly recommend CTE.  There is not a better electrical company in Central Texas.

Apex electric has completed three jobs at my house.  One was an emergency breaker job late at night, a Tesla charger in my garage and two outlet issues. All the jobs were completed fast and at a great price.   I highly recommend Apex.

Here is what dunman sent me after they sent a install team to my building 1 hour early!  It's abrasively insulting! ABSOLUTELY AVOID!!!!!

You were advised that this would be at time and material as well as we discussed the hourly rates.  We were not able to reach you
when we attempted to run this call yesterday AM.  (ME: Front desk was instructed to let up 1 person to give an estimate, NOT a crew of installers 1 hour early)
Our company schedules approx 2- 3 weeks in advance and we have several customers that could have taken this time slot that we extended to you.
We did not speak to you again so I am uncertain as to how you knew
that the gentleman coming was not an estimator ( other than knowing our initial phone call had no mention of setting up only an estimate. )Based
on our attempts to take care of you yesterday and it being turned around like we are crazy for assuming you actually wanted us to do what you
requested, we do not wish to proceed with a bid at this time.

We have been stood up once for this work I do not wish to send an estimator at this time!

AC REPAIR LESSON LEARNED TODAY... ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION
Today we saved over $1,200 by getting a second opinion. Jon Wayne repairman quoted $1,598 yesterday 10-30-19 and stated we needed a Heat strip repair kit. We called JB Heating & Air conditioning today 10/31/19. Their repairman just left after troubleshooting our HVAC system. NO heat repair kit needed. The JB repairman traced the problem to a wire that caused a relay to fail. Total cost today was $350. Their number is 210-316-0523
NOTE: I posted the above on Nextdoor neighborhood, (Timberwood & surrounding area). Out of 101 messages from my neighbors there was only one positive comment about Jon Wayne company
UPDATE:
COMPLAINT RESOLVED: I received a personal phone call from the owner of Jon Wayne Air Conditioning yesterday, Jonny Rackler.  He not only apologized, he also offered to send a refund check for not only his company's service call but also is sending a check for the $350 we paid his competitor . I appreciate his help and genuine concern in this matter. As a business owner I recognize that when you have well over 100 employees, as they do, a boo-boo can happen. Jonny helped to bring this conflict to a satisfying conclusion.  In addition to the above he told me he has called the employee who mis-diagnosed our AC issue in for re-training Monday.
