After I called for a quote, Josh came out promptly, to confer and measure, and to explain options and related costs. I received a competitively priced project quote within 24 hours and we scheduled the job for a mutually convenient date. We are all set for installation this coming Friday. I am very pleased with Josh's responsiveness to my questions and anticipate a job well done.

A few weeks ago, I lost power to one of our bedrooms, hallway light, ceiling fan, bathroom lights, and several outlets. Usually, I do all of my DIY electrical work, but this problem totally baffled me. Everything seemed to be fed by one circuit breaker, but nothing listed above was receiving power except the range in the kitchen. I replaced about 6 or seven switches and outlets thinking one of them was the culprit. Nope, that wasn't it. So, I gave Farryn a call based on all their good reviews. Two technicians came to the house the day after my call. They try to diagnose the problem for close to two hours but with no luck. They said that the owner of Farryn (Dan) would come over the following day, which he did, bright and early. He discovered that most of the outlet boxes were a rat's nest of many hot wires and many neutrals. He had to determine which ones powered which items that were without power. Finally, he discovered that one of the neutrals was the culprit and set about repairing it. He ran a new wire from a known good outlet to the offending switch which allowed the current to flow again. Then, he disabled the bad wire which for whatever reason broke over the years. So, after approximately a day and a half, everything was back to normal!  Dan, and the other two technicians were a pleasure to work with. They were extremely courteous, knew their stuff, and showed much respect to my family members and even my pets! They wore booties while in the house and left their work spaces spotless before leaving. Highly recommended!

A couple weeks ago we had some issues with an electrical outlet in our home and called BG electric.  They diagnosed and provided solutions to our problems.  They also provided, what I think to be very fair, pricing quote before they started the work.  
They cleaned up after themselves and left the work area clean.  We are very pleased with their work.  
They treated us and our home in courteous manner, which is very important to me.  They are now our go to electrician.

I need to acknowledge the crew at Parra Electric Inc. on Smithbridge Rd.  We had a kitchen remodeling job to do that needed the electric work done on two separate dates.  The crew came out for day 1 and did a great job. Phase 2 came up quicker then expected and we called Parra late in the afternoon not very confident they could get us on their schedule as soon as we needed the work to be done. Thankfully they were able to work us in and knocked on the door at 7 am the next morning to complete phase two. They did a great job

Jon was responsive in coordinating the appointment and very polite and respectful when he came to the house. He fixed my broken GFCI outlet and helped me change a high ceiling lightbulb, quickly and professionally. I won't hesitate to reach out in the future with any electrical issues.

I was very happy with the service I received from this company. We were ready to move into our new house but turned out the service wire was in really bad shape. We found out because the electric company said it's been over 5 years since that property had service running so we needed to hire some contractor to evaluate if the house was hook up ready before some one came out to actually turn it on. We pay this contractor or w/e guy $100 to pull out front and say I can tell you right now you fail. He took one look at that service wire and that was it. Our moving date had to be pushed.
We called a few local places, Zack Electric was able to give us a fast affordable quote and they met us that afternoon. The guys were really professional and polite, but they were funny and easygoing. The 2 of them were very thorough, they must have been in and out of there in 2 hours. We were really bummed we had to get it done, but they definitely made the situation much easier then I originally expected. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I bought a 120 year old house this fall and were looking for an electrician to remediate the knob and tube in a very tight two week period. Christian and his team were incredibly flexible and responsive and explained things super thoroughly to us as first time homeowners. Since the K&T removal, we have had them back for various projects around the house (fixing outdoor electric hookups, installing light fixtures, and doorbells) and the work is always done extremely well and fast! We will 100% be using them for all of our electrical needs in the future. I've recommended them to a couple of friends and cannot speak highly enough of this business!!

My experience with Pro Install Services has been very positive. Pro Install Services replaced 3 toilets and installed a vanity top in my home.

First off, in our current Covid situation Ryan always respected my health by constantly wearing a mask while in my home.  Also he did an excellent job in explaining to me the scope of the work being done; he kept me in the loop on any issues (which there were a couple) that occurred and made the necessary adjustments in an expedient professional manner. He made aware of all pricing for each job prior to any work being done.  

Lastly the work was done in a neat, quick, and  professional manner. Without hesitation, I would strongly recommend Pro Install Services for home installation and remediation work!

Way over Priced. $5,000 to $8,000 just to to run electric to an above ground pool. No thanks, I'll keep looking.

Interesting both reviews.  Back in 2006, I used Carswell and I swear I started looking for more work for them to do. They were prompt, efficient, clean and reasonably priced.  BUT------ a few months ago, I called to have an estimate done and noone ever showed up! Very disappointing.  I'm going to call again and try my luck but I need the estimates and work done soon. I may have to call someone else. They DID come out for an estimate within a few days and their estimate has been comparable.

I wish I could give Dave Early 0 stars. If you need work in your home, don't hire him. Dave is dishonest. He does not have enough experience for remodeling, especially bathroom, in which I hired him to do. I did not check references or reviews.
First of all he was always late. Most days he was unprepared for the job and had to go to Home Depot or Lowes every day, which took time out of the work day. Most of his work was wrong and had to be torn down by another contractor that did the work correctly. It was also very messy and sloppy. I had 4 contractors tell me they would tare out most of his work and start over. I wish I could show you the pictures. The plumbing was wrong, and he used green board where he should have used hardy board in the shower and used minimal red guard. I had him stop after the first row of tile because he put super thick uneven thinset with gaps everywhere, not flush with the wall. It was a mess. He also took my toilet off every day and put it back without tightening the bolts and caused the toilet to leak. He also fell trying to install the bathtub and put a large hole in the ceiling. I overpaid him. He should be giving me back at least $2000. He now ignores my calls and messaged and won't get back to me on the issues. I can not take him to court since the courts are closed because of COVID. Hopefully anyone who needs work done reads this review. He is very unprofessional and dishonest. I'm a single mon with a special needs son....it doesn't seem to bother him if he has a conscience.
