Just repeating all of the really positive reviews here about Express Power. We worked with Fred and three guys on his crew for a complete rewire of our Brewerytown rowhome renovation.
From the initial consultation all the way through the final hanging of the light fixtures, these guys were just super professional, prompt, courteous and nice, totally helpful on the job site with suggestions and recommendations. They spent their time on every phase of the job never seemed in a hurry or a rush to get through.
It was a pleasure to work Express Power, and I highly recommend them to anyone - especially those with a really big job, rehab, or renovation like we had. Price was totally reasonable and service was outstanding.
We had a critical issue with our incoming power line. Express came to our home the day I reached out to them to assess the situation, provide a solid solution and provide a reasonable estimate. They schedule the job, arrived timely and completed the work professionally and timely. This company is responsible and respectful. We will be repeat customers.
I have been working with Jon and his partner for about 1 year and I am so pleased with their work.
They are professional, prompt and fair with pricing. Jon keeps in contact with information pertaining to appointment time, materials needed and the amount of time each job would entail. He and his assistant also clean up during and at the completion of each job.
I have employed Express Power for dedicated lines for light fixtures, Ring Doorbell, kitchen outlets, counter top lights, sconces indoor and outdoor. Plus they just recently installed my security camera.

I noticed a hot to touch light switch cover plate, and messaged Express Power that night around midnight. Jon came by the next morning, and was so friendly, prompt and professional and replaced what turned out to be a faulty dimmer switch. He even came back the following morning per my request when the ceiling lights were flickering, to make sure everything was safe at no charge! (turned out to be a PECO issue). Will definitely use Express Power again.

John is excellent and intelligent. He came home and had to clean another person's mess and did a great job. My wife and I are happy and we recommend him for any electrical work.
Was on time finished everything in a few hours. What seemed like a huge job he made look simple. Will always use him in the future for other properties. Was way under other estimates
Timely and professional service! These guys are quick, clean, and excellent at troubleshooting.
Jon was an absolute pleasure to work with as we re-wired the entire house to replace Knob and Tube wiring. He took the time to explain the process to us before, during, and after the job. He even accommodated additions like adding doorbells and closets lights throughout the way. He was knowledgeable about what type and where we would want outlets in the future! I would use Jon on all future projects!

Jon was responsive in coordinating the appointment and very polite and respectful when he came to the house. He fixed my broken GFCI outlet and helped me change a high ceiling lightbulb, quickly and professionally. I won't hesitate to reach out in the future with any electrical issues.
Our experience with Express Power was great! They responded quickly with a quote and were able to schedule our service for 2 days later. Our electrician arrived on time and quickly installed our new dryer outlet. Express Power took the stress out of our last minute need for some electric work, and did an excellent job at a fair price. Would definitely recommend and hire again for future projects!
Fantastic work for a simple, same day job. The response was immediate and the quote seemed reliable. Work was very professional and clean up after was perfect.
Jon and Fred were a pleasure to work with. I had 5 indoor and outdoor fixtures installed, 2 ceiling fans, a TV outlet, dimmer switches, GFCI, flush mount lights and recessed lights all installed in two days. Jon kept the price fair and in my price range. I'm am so thrilled with the look of everything. Will be using Express Power in the future for living room TV and more recessed lights. Can't speak highly enough of Jon and Express Power. Find a good contractor can be difficult, and when living in an old row home, can be even harder. When our previous electrician stopped returning phone calls we turned to Yelp and found Express Power. Jon checks off all the boxes:
* He almost always answers his phone and when he doesn't, he promptly returns messages
* He works around your schedule to set-up appointments
* He actually keeps weekend hours
* He has always been upfront and fair with his prices
Most importantly, Jon has always taken the time to explain each job and has gone above and beyond to make sure each job is aesthetically pleasing. Really can't recommend Express Power enough.

Jon is an amazing electrician. He is very thorough and reasonable. He helped me on two separate occasions - one for cable wiring and the other for a dryer outlet. After contacting him, he was at my house within hours to complete impeccable work. I can only speak highly of Express Power and will definitely call for future electrical work!
I needed two electrical repairs to my property. I messaged John on Friday night for a quote, and he came out by Saturday afternoon to fix both at the same price. Highly recommend for any electrical services.

I had reached out for a quote to get a new outlet installed and to run some cabling behind the wall. Joe responded within minutes and had a time to meet me the next morning. He worked patiently with me to get everything that was part of my requirements. They came to do the job today and were true professionals from setup to cleanup. While they were wrapping up, I already told them about my next project and I hope to use them again if available. I would have no hesitation using Express Power for any future project!
I used express power to fix some really bad electrical work on a newer rehabbed home. They were very professional. Always on time. They did excellent work and was obvious that they were extremely knowledgeable. I recommend express power if you want the job done right and at a great price!

We hired the guys at Express Power to install recessed lighting in our unit, and they did a fantastic job. They were able to come and do a walk through of our place the day I called them, and they started and completed the job the following day. They were very reasonably priced, friendly, and did a great job with our place. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of this type of service.
