Best Electricians in Philadelphia, PA

PLEASE READ.  Our air conditioning unit stopped working and it was a hot Friday night and our thermostat was reading 84. The HVAC contractor said it was an electrical problem. So I called Darin to get on his schedule as soon as possible. Keep in mind, this was a Friday night at 6:00 pm.

Within minutes after our call, Darin was at our house and working to get the problem fixed.  He personally cared about our family not having AC for the night, fixed a couple things on our panel and within an hour had everything up and running.

No other electrician would have come out until Monday. They just don't make people like this anymore.

In addition, Darin and his team did all the work to our house on a major renovation. Everything was done top quality and his entire team is friendly, attentive and great. On top of that, his prices are extremely competitive.

IF YOU NEED AN ELECTRICIAN, LOOK NO FURTHER. TRUST ME!  If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. You wont be disappointed. Its hard to find good, hard working, honest people in today's world. I can't say enough positive things about Darin and his company.

Very satisfied. Fast, efficient, friendly and professional. Had an electrical outlet that was sparking, and needed it looked at. Glenn was here in about an hour and made the repairs, checked everything out, got full power restored to the entire house in short order, and explained what had happened & what he did. Will definitely call G&R Electric again for my electrical needs :).

I took the master electrician code course to get deeper into the National Electrical Code.  Harry DeLoach is an excellent teacher and has a systematic approach to understanding the electrical code.  His knowledge is overwhelming; he knows the material inside and out.

Since that time, we have had many conversations on code interpretation, trouble-shooting, and customer service...in other words Harry makes himself available to his students even after they've completed his classes.

Long before I took Harry's class I was Philadelphia's top-rated solo electrician on Yelp ...so believe me when I tell you that Harry has something positive to offer everyone.

I have used several contractors in the past for home renovations but none of them have been as proficient as Rogelio. This round of work included ceiling and floor molding, setting up a bathroom exhaust, fireplace work, paint and sparkle work. Across-the-board everything was done excellent. The reason (in the past) I continued to use different contractors is because perhaps my expectations were too high and I was unsatisfied but in this case my expectations were met. I almost forgot to mention that his prices were also cheaper than all of the competitors I brought in. He exceeded my expectations at a fair cost. Try him, I doubt you will be disappointed.

Mom blew a fuse yesterday running the air conditioner, then microwave her coffee for lunch. Not sure what to do. Called around her neighbors. Her heater guy Bill Silk suggested Holly Electric. Called and text him. He texted back immediately. Great!  However, he couldn't get here till 8/11. Between 9 & 11 am. So I ran an extension cord front another outlet still working in the dining room to the air conditioner.
They provided excellent service and support for the situation. Recommend this service to anyone.

I am not prone to write reviews but this one deserves it.  Michael Mosley is a very competent, professional, responsive and affordable electrician.  Following an explosion in my circuit breaker box and related fire, I had to have all circuits and wiring replaced.  Michael ALW AYS showed up on time, did more than was expected, finished in record time and handled all paperwork for permits and inspections.  As I could not live at my home without power, Michael frequently kept me informed of progress so I could plan my return.  I can not say enough positive things about this gentleman's assistance, performance, and follow through.  A job done remarkably well!!! Thank you Michael!

Honestly? True pros, up and down. Highly, highly recommend for electrical work.

They showed up to each appointment on the dot. Their team was respectful, asked thoughtful questions, and didn't question some of the unorthodox *visions* I had for the space - just walked us through how we could best achieve it. They were transparent about pricing.

The day of the install, our recessed lighting was removed with minimal, clean cuts, and pendant boxes placed discreetly exactly where I had requested. They even left our place cleaner than they found it.

The price was on the higher side, but for the job done, I felt it was well worth it.

You've got a loyal customer in me, guys. I'll be back anytime we need electrical work done, and will tell all my friends. Thanks again.

would not recommend... came out to add 1 220, and 2 115 dedicated circuits for equipment in a commercial retail shop... was given 3 quotes ranging from $2000 - $3000!!  paid my $29 and said thanks but no thanks... i think they make most of their money collecting the $29 fees....

Poor customer service and communication! I had completed the quote form on 4/10/23 at 9:28am regarding a minor ceiling fan situation. I didn't receive any reply from them until 4/19/23 at 5:11am. It only said, Unable To Service - Other.
