These guys bailed me out when another plumber left me stranded. They were nice, professional, cleaned up after themselves, just all around a great experience. I'm extremely grateful for them and the work they did.

I had used this company twice in the past and have good service. I used them again this week and was dissatisfied with the price and the customer service.

This is customer service. Placed an online request and Gary called back. After talking a bit, he suggested calling Duke Energy because it sounded like it was their problem. He said Osterwisch could make a service call, tell us to call Duke, and would have to charge us for the visit. Great advice. I hung up and called Duke. They responded quickly, the line was fixed, and it was no charge!
BTW, I reached out to another electrician first who was coming out to check and diagnose the issue. Called them back and canceled!

She was not very responsive or had a good business courtesy. Had to follow up several time to know the status.
Instead of diagnosing the problem at our rental property, then calling me to explain the problem and to know if we'd like to continue with the fix, they fixed it and sent me the invoice. It's like between calling them and then sending the invoice of $225 (for not that of a big problem), i had no idea what was going on.

EXPENSIVE!!! I called to have a strainer and faucet installed in a new sink. I have purchased all the needed parts ahead of time. I was quoted over $500. I laughed and told him I'd do it myself. It took me 20 minutes to complete. It was not a complicated install. I have no idea how they justify their prices. Do they charge $1500 an hour? The plumber was friendly but the price was comical. I suggest you shop around. I'd hate to see what a complicated job would cost.

I have used AHP on over half a dozen occasions between my home and for my mom's place. I have mixed emotions about this business.
Pros:
- Local family owned business
- They do quality work
Cons:
- Unless you have an emergency, expect a wait of up to a week for service. On more than one occasion I had to choose a different plumber because I needed service sooner than they could arrive.
- They are a bit expensive based on other services I have used. And make sure you check the time the workers arrive, I once was almost charged an extra half hour of labor until I challenged the bill.

We had a whole house water softener and reverse osmosis system installed
and we immediately noticed the difference in our water softness and quality.
After deciding from the ample choices, they were here within a few days
after scheduling the installation, which only took a few hours. Jesse did a
very thorough job explaining the new system and also removed & disposed
of our old water softener. We were also very pleased with the overall cost and warranty. We highly recommend this company.

Over priced by $300 to evaluate the plumbing issue. Tried to come up with other issues on their evaluation. Declined all options they were trying to sell me on. Hours later, they sent a cleanup crew for an extra expense without notice. EXTREMELY a overpriced and unprofessional. Price gauging!

This company is a complete joke. I believe Rex is the owner. Was sent out by American Home Shield for a water heater leak. He said it was our PR valve. Was coming back to fix it in two days and this incompetent individual didn't see the main water shut-off valve located on the floor next to the water heater. I wasn't there to point it out to him but as a plumber, why wouldn't he know this? Tried to shut the water off in the crawl space and was too big to fit down there. Since he couldn't fit, he made it seem as if it was a different problem other than the valve, typical incompetence when you don't know what you're doing!!! Then he was nonresponsive to the home warranty company for weeks. Only to contact them after I gave a bad google review to come into my home. YOU WILL NOT STEP FOOT BACK INTO MY HOME! What is your motive for responding now? Business needs to be shut down!!!

My AC was not blowing cold . B&B said I needed a fan on my outside unit . Tech did move the fan but he said it was tight.
I asked him to check the capacitor, which starts the fan . He said again, the fan was bad and did not check the capacitor. He said , he would order a fan and would take 2-3 days to arrive and Cost would be $390 plus , the $65 service call . I had another company come out and they said capacitor was bad and it's a $25 part !! And they charged me $50 to fix it ! B&B total cost was going to be $455 and I was going to have to purchase a Window A/C unit to get by since it was 90 degrees . I called B&B and asked for a refund for the $65 service call as they misdiagnosed (explained to secretary and she call tech). They said someone must have oiled to get the fan to work and would not refund ! No one oiled fan . The guy simply changed capacitor, I was standing there!! Be real careful with these folks and certainly get a second estimate.

My AC went out earlier this summer and I had 4 different companies come out to give me quotes on a new central air unit. I called Costco to see what I could get from them and shortly afterwards John Snowden from Knochelman( A Service Experts company) called me and made an appointment to come check it out. Not only was he on time, he was VERY thorough and professional! He measured every single room and all of the windows and calculated the correct residential load calculation and determined that my previous unit was oversized by 1/2 ton and fully explained to me how he came up with this calculation and what it means and why it matters. I did some follow up research and discovered that everything he said was correct. As I said earlier, I had 4 other quotes, 3 of which were lower, so I called John up and asked if he would be willing to meet the lowest quote and after a consultation with his manager they did. The installers were on time, conscientious and worked their butts off on what was one of the hottest days of the year, they cleaned up everything and by the afternoon the house was cooling down! And I still get my $400 Costco cash card, and they threw in a 5 year maintence agreement for free! I would call them back in a heartbeat and I highly recommend them!

I contacted Richardson Plumbing in Florence because I needed another estimate to have our main line cleaned out after a camera scope by another company determined that it was full of scale, which led to a backup in our home. They sent a man out--we'll call him L. L was very nice, seemed knowledgeable, and quoted a rate that was better than the previous company. They would need to put a camera down the line themselves, which was understandable to me, and after getting the estimate in writing later after L left, we agreed that Richardson Plumbing would return on Monday to do the job. On Sunday night, I received a call from L that the hydro-jet was not working as it hadn't been used for a couple months and they would need to send it out for repair, which shouldn't take long. We were very disappointed as my partner had already worked it out with her job to take Monday off and we have a basement that is unusable and we are limited in our use of water. L said he would call back Monday to let me know if they could come out Wednesday or Thursday. I did not hear from him Monday, so I contacted Richardson Plumbing myself either late Monday or Tuesday. I scheduled with them for them to come out on Thursday between 11-1. I worked it out with my employer to not come in that day. At 1:15, I called Richardson Plumbing because I had not heard from anybody. I spoke with Lisa, who was very nice and said L would be at my house as soon as he was finished at another house. Around 1:45, I got a call from L that the hydro-jet was still broken and he could come out and do the camera but he wouldn't be able to do that main job of cleaning the line. I said this was unacceptable to be cancelled or stood up twice in a matter of days. He was very apologetic and told me the best way to get ahold of the owner was to call the office. I called the office and explained the whole story to Lisa, who was very apologetic and said she would get ahold of the owner. The owner attempted to contact me not long after, which I appreciated. I called him back within a couple minutes and he appeared to have a misunderstanding of what had occurred. I explained the whole situation to him and he was apologetic and seemed confused about why L would tell me the hydro-jet was broken. He stated that it was not broken, though it had not been used in a couple months. The owner seemed to fixate on the issue of the camera, and it appeared he had been told by L that I had a problem with them using the camera, which was not at all the case. The problem was being stood up twice and apparently lied to about the reason. I told the owner that I had already contacted another company to come to the house and that due to the losing out on two days of work over this nonsense, I would be leaving a poor review so others don't find themselves in the same situation. This is the point where he stated he doesn't agree with people leaving poor reviews (I'm sure I would feel the same way as a business owner) and became more defensive, stating that he would then leave a response to my review. I told him I would include that he said that in my review. I am surprised at what appears to be poor communication if not outright lying occurring between the worker and the owner and the amount of defensiveness that seemed to overshadow any apologies or concern about how they inconvenienced us. I will admit I considered giving them a third chance initially but decided that was the definition of insanity--doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I am not saying this company is horrible; in fact, most of the people at the company have been very pleasant on the phone. But something is not right when there is a piece of necessary equipment that is or is not out of order depending on who you talk to and you are stood up twice in four days. I hope they can figure this out and initiate some better preparating and accountability practices to keep this from happening again. I was excited to go with a smaller company that says it is family-owned. This was a big let down.

DON'T EVER USE THESE PEOPLE! They were hired for a simple fix. They didn't do it correctly and now I have a FLOODED HOUSE! They are NASTY on the phone and won't come back to FIX THEIR WORK. They aren't affordable, fast or anything but awful.
