Our water heater failed on the weekend. Queen city was the most responsive of the seven plumbers that I contacted. Their price was the best. Their workmanship was absolutely superb. I could not recommend a more highly.

Great experience from start to finish! Set an appointment for Thursday, called in AM, showed up on time and communicated throughout - I needed a hot water heater installed and it ended up costing a little more than I was originally quoted, but the job was a little more difficult than expected and took more time.
Rob was very knowledgeable, professional and his mentality of Let's find a SOLUTION on how to make this work (Main water line in front of water heater) instead of saying - oh I can't do this job (like Recker & Boerger's Water Heater Guy) - which from water heater delivery to install was 5 days with no solution, no help, no hot water - Rob was prompt and new hot water heater was installed two days after my initial call - the day the actual appointment was set and was completed in under two hours.
I would definitely hire Flannigan Contractors again and highly recommend them for your plumbing and HVAC needs.

King's Plumbing was incredibly prompt and communicative with a very fair and honest quote for replacing my water heater. He also was able to diagnose another issue with a pressure valve that was unforeseen and quickly and inexpensively repair it. I found them to be exceeding polite and friendly in dealing with myself and my family, and I could not be happier with their service. I had them recommended to me by my family, and I can certainly see why. I will definitely be using them as my go-to plumber going forward.

Danner & Bunch have visited our home on two separate occasions. The first time was for a clogged drain. They discovered that the pipe was corroded. If they had not replaced it, it would have caused a leak and potentially extensive damage to our home. The replaced the pipe and unclogged the drain.
On their second visit they installed a waterline to our new refrigerator for the ice make and water dispenser. They also unclogged another drain issue. We are so happy with the results. It is good to know that we can call Danner & Bunch in the future for our plumbing needs. We highly recommend Danner & Bunch Mechanical!

Does the job right. High quality. Always on time. Super nice. Jackhammered a shower drain out, fixed, filled in and retiled quickly. Couldn't be happier, works like a dream.

I've never seen this waste pipe without backed-up water, even after using 2 different companies. This is the only company that FIXED the problem AND GAVE ADVICE on the future of our system.

I called Roto-Rooter after 4PM and was told they could send a worker out that same evening. Both Roto Rooter employees that I spoke w/ on the phone were courteous and on the ball. The plumber, Langston, arrived before 6. He was polite, professional, and speedy. While the price might have been somewhat more than competitors I am glad to pay a few extra dollars for such efficiency. I would definitely use them again, I just hope I don't have to :)

We had hunt plumbing out to replace our hot water heater about 2 months ago. He was supposed to show up on a Tuesday morning but called abt an hour after the appt time saying he needed to reschedule. Seeing as I had already taken off work, I wasn't very happy but made a new appt for the next day after work. The next day when he did finally show up (about 45 mins late), he started taking our old water heater out. Our basement is finished and carpeted and he let dirty water drain more than once onto the carpet. I went down and checked on him about 5 times during this and 3 of the times he was on the phone. I understand he is everything in his business.... The secretary and the worker but by this time I just wanted him to focus on the work he was there to do.
He was able to install the new water heater but first felt the need to tell me how cheap an bottom of the line all of my plumbing was. I am very aware that my new cookie cutter Fischer house does not have all of the custom upgrades that apparentally his does but we like it and are proud to own it.
I felt like Chuck was very arrogant and very overpriced. I have had plumbing issues since and it seems he doesn't have the best reputation in the plumbing world.
If you choose to use hunt plumbing, good luck but don't expect the 5 star service because I can tell you that that is not what you always get.

I have used Zins several times and they have always done excellent work. We had water backing up into our basement from one of the drains. We had roto rooter look at it and they said they could not find it and could not get a camera down. Ron at Zins was here for about 15 minutes and unblocked the drain. Highly, highly recommend.

They sent out a plumber to look at my water heater. Without running any tests or even touching my water heater he told me I would need a rebuild that would require a special thermostat to be ordered and would cost $1200. I went and bought everything that was needed for $45 from a plumbing supply store (nothing special about the thermostat) and did the rebuild myself. This didn't fix the problem because there wasn't anything wrong with the water heater in the first place. It was an electrical issue inside the breaker box.
So in short, this company tried to charge me $1200 for a job that took less than an hour and that didn't even need to be done. Beware.

Buyer Be Warned...After a hot water heater issue, this company was assigned by our home warranty company to provide service. The dispatcher who set up the appointment instructed us that the plumber would take down the model number, serial number and do a brief diagnosis and...(most importantly) collect the check for the deductible. He instructed that it would likely be a few days before they could get parts for the repair (without ever seeing the water heater). After the plumber was over an hour late without a phone call, he was in the house for 3 minutes including the time required to write a check. His determination: the water heater was old, the gas valve was bad and the water heater would most likely need to be replaced because parts would most likely not be available. The plumber was rude and refused to phone the authorization center for the warranty company as they asked me to have him do in order to expedite the claim. His excuse: If I call at this time of day, I'll wait for an hour to talk to a person. It's faster to go back to the office and file the claim online. Which, the warranty company had stated that filing online would delay the claim. After complaining to the warranty company about the plumber's behavior, rudeness and his lack of evaluating any issues with the water heater, they have now assigned the claim to Home Depot who was able to fix the problem same day. Significant thanks to KW Mechanical who spent an hour diagnosing the problem, determined it was NOT the gas valve but was a dirty and misaligned burner causing the problem. He then cleaned the burner, realigned it and we had hot water back immediately. I wish I would have found the comments on Yelp before I every allowed Smith Mechanical in my house.
