I have used them in the past but when I reached out for a new appointment they no showed. I called the office and was treated extremely rudely. They lost my business!!! No reason to treat customers poorly!

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER!!!!! I called them to investigate a leak in my kitchen. I come downstairs to find that WITHOUT CONSULTING ME, they have cut a very large hole in my ceiling!!!!! They then tell me that this hole will require me to hire a drywall professional and paint my entire ceiling - a very expensive job. I was not consulted at ANY point in this process. When I express my dismay at this and ask to speak with the owner of the company, the owner of the company instructs them to pack up and leave my house!!! The problem was not diagnosed, and I now have a very large hole in my ceiling to deal with. This is the first online review I have ever written and I am furious.

I was in desperate need of a plumber. I had been using Steigerwald plumbing for about 15 years. They couldn't make it out for a week. Anderson Hills Plumbing bailed me out in just a couple of days. The guys were very knowledgeable and very nice.

Thank you Anderson Hills Plumbing. You have a new customer and will be my plumber in the future.

Again, thank you so much for getting out here and solving my problem.  You saved the sale of my condo and I will always be grateful for that.

Jack Vilardo, my neighbors husband, is my new hero...(Don't tell Ralph...LOL)

THANK YOU!

What can I say ... every home owner needs a good plumber.  My wife and I have used AHP on numerous occasions for severe emergencies to putting in a new faucet in our kitchen.  I believe this is a family owned business and they seem to really care about the people they service in the neighborhood.   This week my wife and I had a major scare when our upstairs fire alarm / carbon monoxide detector started going crazy.  Come to find out the batteries had been removed from our detector on the main floor (kitchen),  when the batteries were replaced this detector too began going crazy.  After contacting the fire department, my wise better half called AHP and because of the urgency of the situation  they dropped what they were doing and came out an took readings.  Their findings and recommendations were spot on and we were saved a very dangerous situation due to their diligence.  In my experience you may be able to find a cheaper plumber some where, but not one who takes more time to prioritize work and invest in the well being of  their customers.  Thank you Anderson Plumbing.

Great service.  Had three repair items and they completed all.  They explained what needed to be done for each repair and knew exactly what to do.  As they say, you get what you pay for.  It is worth using experienced professionals for a job done right.

I have used AHP on over half a dozen occasions between my home and for my mom's place. I have mixed emotions about this business.

Pros:
- Local family owned business
- They do quality work

Cons:
- Unless you have an emergency, expect a wait of up to a week for service. On more than one occasion I had to choose a different plumber because I needed service sooner than they could arrive.
- They are a bit expensive based on other services I have used. And make sure you check the time the workers arrive, I once was almost charged an extra half hour of labor until I challenged the bill.

I live right around the corner from AHP and have used them for clogged drains a few times, but now I needed them for a big boy job. I noticed my water heater was dripping so I called on a Wednesday to get a ballpark estimate on what it would cost to replace. I had no idea, I just wanted to know if I was looking at a bill that would be hundreds or thousands. The person I spoke to instructed me to email with my request and send pictures. I took several pictures of the heater, the flue, and the info on the heater with the make and model and size of the tank. I received a response email telling me to call in for an estimate. Friday comes and the heater completely fails, water was flooding the basement. I called and was told to turn the water off. We then scheduled to have someone over first thing Monday to fix it, the time frame was between 8-11. Went the weekend without the water. Monday at 12:00 I called because the guy never showed. Was told I was scheduled for 4:00pm! They finally did send someone out and he just looked and said they would send an email the next day with an estimate. I had enough. I called Holtmeier plumbing and someone was out within the hour. He looked at it and gave me an estimate and within 2 hours that day I had a new water heater installed. Holtmeier charged $2100, I never did receive that email estimate from Anderson Hills Plumbing.

Update: Finally heard back and was quoted $3400. They told me that that they would need to drill into the foundation and completely redo the chimney and exhaust flue, because my 40gal water heater was oversized.

Beware: these people do good work, however they are very expensive.  I had a short connection under the sink pipe hookup that took approx. 1 hour and they charged $400.00.  Get the price before they start the work.

I have used them numerous times over the past 15 years. The last few times I have been very disappointed.  Their miminum pricing has gone up and the workers have been padding the time. They starting charging from leaving their shop or last client. I have complained but only received a small credit. The last time I had them come to fix a leak in our  yard again that they previously fixed. The crew came and said they werent the right crew eventhough 1 of the people was involved before. Since they were already here i had them look at 2 drains. 10 minutes of work for 115 dollars. I was happy in the past with a replacement battery backup sump pump and new water heater several years ago but i draw the line at dishonesty.   The leak was eventually fixed after their 1 outdoor crew cancelled multiple times and 1 month of waiting. I expected to get a credit based on the lack of service of the last visit.  Didnt happen. I wont use them again.  I like supporting local businesses but there are many others to use.

I'm very impressed with Jack and Jeff at Anderson Hills Plumbing. They have been very helpful even though I didn't even hire them because they do not do the type of work I needed. They have been great at helping me sort out my problem and not be taken advantage of by another plumber who tried to sell me on expensive services that are not really needed.

We had a broken shower pipe and the faucet needed to be replaced.  After calling two high rated plumbers, both said at least two weeks to come and look. I called Anderson.  They were able to respond in two business days.  The company did suggest I purchase the faucet I wanted so I would have what I wanted.  The plumbers got here on time and completed the work quickly.  They cleaned the area they were working in .  The bill was a little high, but so were the other companies I contacted

We bought a 10 yr old home last fall and with recent rain, discovered our sump pump in the basement was not working.  We called AHP and they sent two experienced techs to our home within 2 hours. They went right to work and installed the new pump in less than 1 hour.  The bill was almost $400  LOWER than expected. They were excellent and we will definitely be calling them back when we have any other plumbing problems. Phil and Ryan are the best!! Thanks very much!

I sent this to Anderson Hills Plumbing one week ago. I called them out to snake a drain pipe. They tried multiple times and apparently broke the pipe. We paid them almost $1300 to fix a problem they created. They bolted from the house and did not follow up. This is the email I sent to them:

We have relied on Anderson Hills Plumbing since we have lived here, nearly 17 years. Our experience yesterday was not at all what we expected. Your service providers cleaned the drain and were packing to leave when they noticed water running out of the soffit outside. In cleaning the pipe, they broke the pipe. In the process of repairing the pipe, they removed the bathroom vanity and sink, breaking the backsplash. The larger issues was the condition of our home when they left. It was unacceptable.

I am attaching pictures I took with my phone. There is a hole in the soffit and holes and damage to internal drywall. The vanity and sink must be reinstalled after the bathroom walls are repaired. We estimate the cost for our contractor the complete this work is $500, or approximately five hours.

Based on our long-standing relationship with you, we ask you to reimburse us $500 to complete this work. In the meantime, we are living without a working vanity and a mess. Please contact us at your earliest convenience.

I closed with photos and contact phone numbers. As of right now, 9 pm, one week later, I haven't heard anything from Anderson Hill Plumbing. To say that am dissatisfied is an understatement. I am angry. And I am paying someone else to fix the problems they created.

On a Sunday, our water heater decided to die.  I called Anderson Hills Plumbing and was able to speak to them first thing on Monday. They initially thought it would take another day to source our top of the line water heater. Ultimately, they under promised and over delivered as they ended up getting the equipment that day and made a last minute change in schedule to install our new water heater so we could shower that evening.  Our family was grateful for the quick work of our local company.  Thanks Anderson Hills Plumbing!
