Called them today and luckily they were working in the area and were at our home in less than two hours.  The electrician was great and quickly solved our problem.  Will be using them in the future.  Highly recommend.

Have referred them to a number of people, all of whom have been really happy with the service they received.  Prompt, knowledgeable, friendly and professional.  Nice to have a list of local service providers that you can trust when you need them.

Israel is the best! So kind, trustworthy and hardworking. He's full of knowledge and can do anything you need help with from setting up a home alarm system to full kitchen remodels. Highly recommended!

Electrical issue with out pool. Contacted and they came out the next day. Evaluated and where able to complete the job prior to our timeline. Very pleased with their work and quick response.

We are so thrilled with the lighting instillation that Mike and his team did in our house. Mike gave great advice and demonstrated lots of knowledge as we were deciding what to do.  They took extra care to set up and ensure nothing would be damaged in our house everything looks and works great!!  We couldn't even tell they were there after they left as they cleaned up everything and put all our things back in place.   Everyone we spoke with was so pleasant and responsive and all my questions and concerns were answered. Mike and his team were also very patient with our dog which was a nice bonus. Really great work and really great customer service!

It was after 7:00pm and I needed someone to fix an outlet in my garage ASAP because I had our 2nd refrigerator on that outlet.  There with no power and I did not want to lose all that food.   I called several places and Matt from  Lamm Electric called me immediately.   He had me text him pictures and he walked me through finding the problem.  We were able to fix it and my refrigerator is working and we did not lose any food!    (I offered to pay him for his time and he said no). Matt was amazing!!

Attentive, knowledgable, and easy to work with. They do excellent, detailed work and seem honest & straightforward. I appreciate their responsiveness, attention to detail, that they clean up after jobs, and ease in scheduling. Definitely recommend. Will work with them again.

I highly recommend Art Mauney for anyone who wants an honest, knowledgeable and very efficient contractor. Several years ago the panel box shorted out on the side of our house due to water leaking in the box. My wife met him accidentally in Home Depot and he came over and installed a new one within two hours, AND IN A BAD LIGHTNING STORM!

Last week I called him and he came today and installed a panel box in our basement with very short notice even though he was very busy. If you need a good electrician at a fair and honest cost, he is your man.

I called Southern Electric of the Carolinas (in Rock Hill) because I had a puzzling intermittent flickering lights problem on multiple circuits (but not all of them).  The owner, Tommy Palmer, came to check it out to provide an estimate.  He was able to quickly trouble-shoot and diagnose the problem.  He suspected a bad connection inside my electric meter box.  He immediately called the city electric company to open the meter box.  There was, in fact, a bad connection.  He immediately got a permit from the city to work on the meter and sent a crew (Ron & LJ) to work on it.  They had to coordinate their work with the city electric company to disconnect my electric service at the street, have the city inspector approve the repair, and then have the electric service turned back on.  They took care of all of the logistics and got the job done amazingly fast.  While all this was happening, they also did another minor job for me at the same time.  The bill for their work was quite reasonable.

We just moved into our new house and found that one of our light switches was wiggly and we had an issue with our ceiling fan. I called GB Electrical and Jay came out soon afterwards. He replaced my wonky light switch and fixed my fan problem without issue. Such a nice guy and such a great job.

Excellent and professional work. I have used them numerous times and will use them again and again. A+ service; very customer oriented. No job too big or small, they can do it all. Experts!

This company charged $65.00 to assess my electrical issue. Quoted me $1,350 to complete work. After they submitted a permit to the city they tried to come back and tell me it would be an additional $7,000 to $8,000.

Very unprofessional and sneaky - avoid using this company at all costs!

I called because we had some weak circuit breakers that needed replaced.  First, it took two weeks for an appointment.  The electrician came out and determined 3 breakers needed replaced.  The only problem was that he only had 1.  The options were to either have them come back another time and pay the $135 service call fee again, or I could wait for the techs to go buy some breakers.  They didn't tell me I would be paying for their shopping trip.  They arrived at my house at 8:38 AM (they did not call ahead like I was told they would).  The finally left at 11:09 AM.  That's 2 hours and 31 minutes (151 minutes) .  It took them 54 minutes to go buy the breakers.  That means they were physically here for 97 minutes, or 1 hour and 37 minutes.  If they had had the breakers on the truck, they'd of been done in that 1 hour and 37 minutes, and I'd of been billed for  45 minutes (.75 hours) over the 1 hour service call, approximately another $73.50.  But, according to their company, since they were out buying my breakers, I have to pay for that time too, and they billed me an additional 1.75 hours (an hour and 45 minutes) over the initial 1 hour service call.
If they can't stock all the different brands of breakers on the trucks (they did have 1), then why didn't they ask me two weeks ago when I called what brand/type I had, so they could stock them on the truck for my appointment?  In my opinion, I paid for an extra hour, $98, that I shouldn't have had to.
The techs were nice and knowledgeable.  But, I won't do business again with a company I feel ripped me off because of their own incompetence.

Was told needed new ac unit but was only a $165 dollar part when I got a second opinion also was told that the freon was to low but the inside unit was never on to actually check it and when the other guy came out and checked it it was completely fine but bc they didn't have the inside unit on it wouldn't read right called and asked why they said I needed a new unit and was told that when a units so many years old they just replace rather then fix

Companies like this are why I DIY as much as possible.  I should have paid more attention to other Yelp reviews.  I can't stand dishonest people or companies.  But not confident in my own electrical abilities.

First, this was for electric services.  I had two exterior outlets which were not working.  Lady on the phone told me there was a small $49 service fee which can be credited to work completed.  OK.  Shane comes out, spends an hour trying to determine the issue, doesn't know for sure but believes a connection was never made to service the front two outlets when the home was originally built in 2015 (I'm the second owner).  Then asks for $215 for the diagnostic.  What happened to the $49?  Oh, there's another $166 for a troubleshoot fee.  Wasn't disclosed.  So $49 gets you to my house and then if I want to know what's wrong, I have to pay more?  Shady tactic.

Then Shane tells me it'll be $350 for the repair which will require 12 holes in my wall to run a new line from the circuit breaker through my garage.  Can't do it same day because he doesn't have spackle to close up the holes.

Next day comes back and had an epiphany overnight that he wouldn't need to run a new line, he could connect through another room.  Job which would have taken considerable amount of time now suddenly takes about an hour.

Shady upfront pricing comments, shady repair tactics, shady company.  Do yourself a favor and try to find an honest company as IRV is anything but.
