Called them today and luckily they were working in the area and were at our home in less than two hours. The electrician was great and quickly solved our problem. Will be using them in the future. Highly recommend.

We are so thrilled with the lighting instillation that Mike and his team did in our house. Mike gave great advice and demonstrated lots of knowledge as we were deciding what to do. They took extra care to set up and ensure nothing would be damaged in our house everything looks and works great!! We couldn't even tell they were there after they left as they cleaned up everything and put all our things back in place. Everyone we spoke with was so pleasant and responsive and all my questions and concerns were answered. Mike and his team were also very patient with our dog which was a nice bonus. Really great work and really great customer service!

It was after 7:00pm and I needed someone to fix an outlet in my garage ASAP because I had our 2nd refrigerator on that outlet. There with no power and I did not want to lose all that food. I called several places and Matt from Lamm Electric called me immediately. He had me text him pictures and he walked me through finding the problem. We were able to fix it and my refrigerator is working and we did not lose any food! (I offered to pay him for his time and he said no). Matt was amazing!!

I called Southern Electric of the Carolinas (in Rock Hill) because I had a puzzling intermittent flickering lights problem on multiple circuits (but not all of them). The owner, Tommy Palmer, came to check it out to provide an estimate. He was able to quickly trouble-shoot and diagnose the problem. He suspected a bad connection inside my electric meter box. He immediately called the city electric company to open the meter box. There was, in fact, a bad connection. He immediately got a permit from the city to work on the meter and sent a crew (Ron & LJ) to work on it. They had to coordinate their work with the city electric company to disconnect my electric service at the street, have the city inspector approve the repair, and then have the electric service turned back on. They took care of all of the logistics and got the job done amazingly fast. While all this was happening, they also did another minor job for me at the same time. The bill for their work was quite reasonable.

We just moved into our new house and found that one of our light switches was wiggly and we had an issue with our ceiling fan. I called GB Electrical and Jay came out soon afterwards. He replaced my wonky light switch and fixed my fan problem without issue. Such a nice guy and such a great job.

Very disappointed. My general contractor used ARC. The ARC estimator, Billy, came by. Both the contractor and I were present. We gave Billy the written diagram, with all the electric written in: 110v sockets, ceiling 110v sockets and most importantly the 220v sockets I needed in two locations.
The basement was just studs and three walls that had sheet rock. One of the three was only sheet rocked on one side. Ideal for any electrician as they can simply place sockets & run wiring between the studs. Two of the 220v sockets HAD TO BE PLACED LOW ON THE LEFT WALL. This was emphasized to Billy.
Billy, with much bluster and officiousness marked bold black lines on the plan verbally showing how they would link certain connections and where the lighting would go. I did not have much confidence in his show, but he had the written plan and Billy ensured the contractor and I that he understood.
Two really nice and competent electricians came by in a couple of weeks and got the wiring in. IT WAS NOT CORRECT. Billy had not given them a copy of the plan so they just put the sockets, switches and wires where they thought they would go.
My contractor was as aghast as I was and said he would take care of it. Meanwhile, the sheet rock crew came in, as they were on schedule and got the walls covered. A great job, but now the ARC electricians, would have to cut through dry wall and fish wires across the ceiling and some walls. More work.
It took about three weeks for them to come back. And although they did a good job and were nice guys, THEY STILL DID NOT GET THE 220V SOCKETS IN THE CORRECT WALL. They were on the opposite wall and the piece of equipment I would be using had to be along the left wall.
Almost a month passed. Plumbing was in and counters and shelving was going up.
So nearly seven weeks from Billy's estimate, another two electricians covered the wrong socket holes, cut new ones on the correct wall and ARC was finished with their nearly $5000 job. We lost over two months and it took three returns to get the work right.
Billy the estimator never gave them a plan. What folly.
The electricians and their work was excellent. And the four I met were nice guys and worked seriously and professionally. They were competent. Wish I could say the same about Billy.
I have some other work with the contractor and will insist that he NOT use ARC. They were expensive and the fruit of their excellent work was poisoned by the seed planted by Billy the estimator. I hope you don't get Billy if you do choose to use ARC.

Made an appointment last week for a GFCI fault that happens on my dock, whenever it is energized. Being a water location, I wanted to give these guys a chance at solving this. They came highly recommended. Upon my initial call, the staff was friendly, and assured me it would be no problem. Got a call and a message last week verifying the date and time of service as 10 am to Noon today. Well, after waiting until 11:35 am, I called to verify I was still on the schedule. The nice person who answered assured me I was, and to be patient. I was second on the list. At 4:38 p.m. the office called me to apologize that they weren't going to come today, and they had no space in the schedule for me to make up for my lost time. Time is the one thing we don't get back. Wasted an entire day to waiting to meet them, and explain the problem, as well as detail all the work I wanted done. Now, I get to find a new provider. Ordinarily I would reschedule, but that was the end of ANY willingness to extend any further consideration to these folks. The electricians may be good. I will never know. You only get to waste my time once.

Great guys to deal with. Honest, reliable, and professional. Had trouble with a couple outlets not working in the house. They fixed them very quickly. Highly recommended.

Six months ago, our hot water heater died one cold night in February. When I called Jim Dickerson Plumbing in the morning, they were able to replace the unit that afternoon. Although they may not have claimed to be the least expensive in the area, they were able to provide same day service in an emergency situation. Also, they provided a few case scenarios over the phone to tell me why the competitors cheaper 'quotes' might be such low estimates and that the end result may be a higher price. What they provided over the phone already took into account certain additional items, assuming no major problems, so we'd have less of a surprise bill in the end. Therefore, we went with Jim Dickerson Plumbing and were quite pleased with the service. Just last week, the water heater began working incorrectly. All issues related to the heater pointed to the manufacturer, not the plumber. After numerous service calls, reordered parts, and additional problems spanning almost a week with the manufacturer, Jim Dickerson Plumbing came through with excellent customer service, same day service calls in each situation, and technical expertise. In the end, the majority of this was handled on a Saturday. I realize the business has 'on call' office staff and technicians, but we feel they went above and beyond their duties to ensure our house had hot water THAT DAY after the debacle we had experienced for almost a week. Again, we seemed to get a 'lemon' of a product, by no fault of Jim Dickerson Plumbing. The manufacturer State was horrible in providing assistance or solutions or accurate information to Jim Dickerson. The plumbing company, on the other hand, transported an entire water heater to my house to use for 'spare parts' if need be. The technicians [all of them that had been to our house: Branden, Clayton, Cooper, Jason] and Marti and Debbie in the office were great. Marti spent a lot of effort and energy trying to determine why the manufacturer did not deliver what was promised so that Jim Dickerson Plumbing could continue to do their job as they promised. Not only was she diligent, but she was very empathetic and that helped us remain calm in a very frustrating situation. We will recommend them highly whenever the opportunity arises.

Companies like this are why I DIY as much as possible. I should have paid more attention to other Yelp reviews. I can't stand dishonest people or companies. But not confident in my own electrical abilities.
First, this was for electric services. I had two exterior outlets which were not working. Lady on the phone told me there was a small $49 service fee which can be credited to work completed. OK. Shane comes out, spends an hour trying to determine the issue, doesn't know for sure but believes a connection was never made to service the front two outlets when the home was originally built in 2015 (I'm the second owner). Then asks for $215 for the diagnostic. What happened to the $49? Oh, there's another $166 for a troubleshoot fee. Wasn't disclosed. So $49 gets you to my house and then if I want to know what's wrong, I have to pay more? Shady tactic.
Then Shane tells me it'll be $350 for the repair which will require 12 holes in my wall to run a new line from the circuit breaker through my garage. Can't do it same day because he doesn't have spackle to close up the holes.
Next day comes back and had an epiphany overnight that he wouldn't need to run a new line, he could connect through another room. Job which would have taken considerable amount of time now suddenly takes about an hour.
Shady upfront pricing comments, shady repair tactics, shady company. Do yourself a favor and try to find an honest company as IRV is anything but.
