First, I'd like to clarify that I did not use them for repairs (ended up that my home warranty covers the issue, and they choose the provider). I also did NOT get a 2nd opinion, so I cannot give a fully-supported review; however, I did want to share my thoughts.
I did appreciate the kind staff and effort they made to get to my house quickly (I called because our AC unit stopped working). They forewarned me that there would be a $89 fee simply for coming out. I don't know if this is standard, but assuming it may be.
The tech was at my house within a few hours (again, I much appreciated how quickly they responded). He reviewed the unit and within 10 minutes told me the compressor had gone bad, that it would be around $2500-3000 to fix. Before leaving, he did get me an exact amount (right below $2900). What bothers me is that while they emailed me the estimate, it was NOT itemized. The office also confirms that they only use a flat fee that comes from a book. I personally wouldn't want this type of work done without an itemized bill.
According to charlottehvacguide.com/g…, this type of work should run about $550-1600 to replace. Because Bradham doesn't itemize, you can't see why there's such a discrepancy. Again, I didn't get a 2nd opinion (yet), so that may be spot on and the website referenced may be wrong. But how would I know?!

Our electric job was to remove an existing brass chandelier from our 2 story entry hallway and replace it with another (lighter weight) chandelier. After discussing the job over the phone (no surprises), Steve scheduled a day to remove the old and install our new one. We had planned to pay cash or personal check if they accepted checks. After arriving to our home, he decided he needed a different ladder and another person to assist him. Therefore, he could not install it that day and would have to come back again (but not that same day). After a few more phone calls back and forth within that following week, we scheduled another day for him and his assistant to come to our home to remove the existing chandelier and hang the replacement one. He showed up without an assistant & then said he was sorry, for us to call another electric company to perform the job. Although Steve was cordial and very sorry, this was a complete waste of weeks of our time and days off from work just for him to tell us that after all the phone calls and the time spent for him to come to our home.........he couldn't do the job and to call someone else. Do not call this company. If they do not have the proper equipment or manpower to remove & install a chandelier....what kind of electric company is this? I do not recommend Steve or S K Electric.

I was assigned to MI electric by Lowes to do the light installation. For One and half weeks, they never call me to make an appointment. I tried to find the number on the website and call them, then I was told they don't take customer's request. When I asked Lowes to push them, I was told by Lowes that MI electric refused to answer the phone and no reply to the voice mail.
Finally, Lowes transfer me to another contractor.
This is my true story. The company is lazy and rude.

DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!! He is not trust worthy!!!!! James will lie straight to your face. We needed to move our washer/dryer unit from our kitchen in a bed room about 10-15 ft away. Very very long story short he quoted us $300 over the phone. Once he got to the house he said it might not be enough. I told him I didn't want to short change him and if he needed more money to get the job done we could do it. It wasn't until I said we had cash for him that he changed his tune and said he could do what he needed to. The rookie mistake on myself and our Husbands part was leaving the house because we were already late for an appointment because James showed up two hours late. He basically cut the power cord, pulled the dryer outlet out of the wall and left. We had a different electrician come out and he said there wasn't any electric work done under the house and the guy ripped us off. He also ignored our phone calls from us and our relator. Our realtor had to pretend to be a new client wanting a big job done in order for him to call her back! He has not morals.
