I've been using Gateway Plumbing & Heating for over 10 years. In that time, I've lived in or managed 4 different properties with issues ranging from toilet repairs and replacement to hot water heater replacement. I also have Gateway do annual boiler maintenance. Over the years, all of their technicians have been professional and personable, with Sal being one of the plumbers I see often. Dave, one of the owners, personally handled oversight of a recent gas line replacement project. Stratos, new to the Gateway team, confirms appointments in advance and follows up. The office staff is also very helpful. I highly recommend Gateway Plumbing!

I dont need a plumber every day... but when I do, Guarini is the only one I would use or recommend.  These guys are great.  Today I had banging noises in my furnace, I called them, they were there before their estimate, took care of the situation, and were out in a little over an hour.  Chris was great, he explained what he was planning to do and what he thought the problem was, and sure enough, fixed it right away.  
I have only great words and recommendations for this Plumbing and heating company.... I have used them on an off for over 18 years.  They are the best you can get in Jersey City!

Just brought a water tank from. The customer services there was awesome. The manager helped me the whole way and even gave me a discount.

Robek was fantastic when we had a problem. They showed up when they said they would and took care of our clogged sink quickly and completely. They cleaned up so as not to leave a trace of anyone ever being there. Price was fair and service top notch. Highly recommended.

Paul worked on certifying the plumbing for my house in NYC when I was trying to get my 2nd fl bathroom legalized. He is a straight forward guy and honest. He explained what my different options were and what it would cost. If there was something he wasn't sure about he was honest about it.
Even though it took a long time to get the bathroom signed off on by the Dept of Blds(because of bureaucratic nonsense), Paul was always prompt with taking care of things at his end. His work is good and he was responsive to emails and phone calls which is something you don't always get. I would recommend him any day.

I had a very bad waste pipe and house drain pipe break in the basement. It was REALLY BAD! I called Fenix Pipe Repair and Mike answered the call. He came and analyzed the problem and the very next day fixed everything. He went above and beyond my expectations and gave me a very good price for the work. He used quality materials and did the job quickly! Mike is very professional, courteous, knowlegeable and considerate. He came on time. He was able to spot other smaller problems and fix them too! I can't say enough good things about him and thank you doesn't suffice for all that he has done for me and my family. He is now our official plumber! Thank you again!

After months of unsuccessfully finding an expert on drain issues. The most high blessed me with Richie. Not only was he patient   Rich was economical.  Rich analyzed all facets of my drain issues from the storm drain to the house drain.  I'm truly satisfied with his service.  Rich is my go to guy.   Definitely recommend to everyone.

Jimmy, the owner is a rare find in the world of plumbers.  Our pipes burst last week and we woke up to a flooded basement (fortunately we happened to be here at our vacation home over the holidays!)  We found Allstate Mechanical on the Internet and called.  Jimmy came to our home and during the service call (where most companies charge you separately to just diagnose the problem) he was able to not just locate all the broken pipes but he also fixed them. One call.  Jimmy is very upfront and honest about pricing which we appreciate. We've been left high and dry with other plumbing companies who surprise us with an additional price in the middle of a job  - all they do is lowball their initial price to get you to hire them. Not here. Jimmy is refreshingly old-school in that he takes great pride in his work, is honest, hard-working, excellent at what he does and makes every effort to make his customer happy.  Will definitely call him again.

I had Alive Plumbing come out to fix my plumbing and they were fabulous. They are so friendly and nice and when they work they keep their area clean, which I love. They do such fantastic work that I will always call them to come and fix any plumbing problems that I have.

Unless your issue is urgent it may be a wait to get a visit from Jimmy.  He always pulls through when in need and never has to come back to take another look. One visit and your problem is fixed. Thank you!!

the Techs are amazing respectful and knowledgeable. They did an amazing job installing my water conditioner. They did a great job in explaining how the water conditioner works, and what is involved in the install. Highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs

Mike was honest, professional, and fairly priced. I sent him a message via Yelp to describe my boiler issue. He promptly called me to further discuss and confirm my address. 45 minutes later he was at my front door. It couldn't have been more than 2 hours from the time I sent him the message to the the time the job was completed. The short turnaround was just a bonus. Even if I had waited half the day, his work was so neat and efficient that it would have been well worth it. I will continue to use this company for all my plumbing and heating needs. Had a pipe break. Called John and he called back asap. Arrived at the time he said he would and did a great job helping me out. I would def call him back. Very nice guy.

I needed a new water heater after sandy and Bill came over to install it. Professional, neat work and I've never had a problem with it since, he did the job right. Some plumbers in the past have done poor work that starts to leak months later, but I've never had s problem with bill and will continue to recommend him to friends and family

He has done a bunch of work in my house and is reasonable priced and responsive! Happy with ASAP plumbing.

This company seemed like they were good and very pleasent on the phone but then after coming a day later than expected the plumber lied about the time he spent at my house and totally ripped me off. I should have made them write it down when arriving and leaving but instead I stupidly trusted them. I also don't believe that they didn't go for lunch for an hour while getting the part. I will never use them again!
