Very disappointed.  The young journeyman electrician was clearly clueless and took tremendous amount of time to work in the home.   He made a complete mess of  2 parallel mounted 3 way switches.  Keith, the owner of KB Charged a fortune arguing it was based on time regardless the 4th switches did not work    I learned the switches were wired entirely wrong by KB's crew.  One entire 3way circuit lighting my 2nd floor hallway would not turn on from either location.   On 2nd 3 way circuit, only one switch location worked, but only if the other location with was in the on position.  When called back, owner refused to correct or refund money.  Was unconscionably arrogant.  Refused to offer to return to correct the damaged work.  

Clearly there is no supervision of KB's on site crews and no sense of ownership of poor workmanship and lack of skills.  Finally the arrogance and complete lack of any sense of responsibility or consideration of the client.  

Greenway Electric came and explained the disaster that was left by KB and in short order corrected KB's mess.  All switches and lights work fine now thanks to Nick from Greenway Electric,

I would strongly discourage hiring KB based on technical incompetence, imperious attitude and complete lack of professional service mindset or personal integrity.

Do not call KB.  Call an electrician that supervises their crews or better yet where the licensed owner comes on site and supervises and stands behind their work.

Definitely definitely will be using Fleming Electric in the future. I called in the middle of the night and Casey called back at 6am. So grateful. Fixed our smoke detector issue in the morning.

This the second time I used there services, this time for a broken outlet and dimmer in my unit. Udi responded quickly and Tony showed up to fix the issue. They communicate quickly and easy to coordinate. Very professional!

Robert the rescue!!

We woke up Sunday morning with no hot water  and searched yelp and luckily found Riverside Handyman services. Robert setup an appointment with us the following day between 8-10am and arrived at 9am and got right to work. A few hours later we were enjoying a nice hot shower, thanks guys!

The electrician was absolutely wonderful. They came out as quickly as possible. My only complaint would be the high cost of the service call. It might have been a bit too high. However, I would use this company again. The service was great! Thank you.

We needed a GFCI outlet replaced and Moheb was extremely responsive in our communication, was cost competitive and, most importantly, did a high quality job very quickly. He was right on time the day of the job, communicative via text, and in and out in less than 30 minutes. Added benefit is he gave some pointers on a change to our electrical panel we could make long-term to save on electricity costs (just advice, did not push any unwanted services or anything).

Would highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work.

Konstantinos was the consummate pro.  He was very clear and fair about his pricing upfront, which was competitive with other estimates I got.  He was on time, clean, friendly, professional, diagnosed and solved my electrical issues.  I also had him reinstall some stuff that the handy man didn't install properly.  He clearly cares not only about the quality of his work but my satisfaction.  I wish the plumbers, roofers, and heating guys I have hired in the last 4 months were as fair, upfront, knowledgeable and easy to work with as konstantinos!

We used the services of Riviera Electric to upgrade the electric on a two story house we purchased in Windsor Terrace last year. The house was originally built in 1899 and the existing electric system was very old. My wife and I didn't want to gut the house, but knew the electric needed to be upgraded before we moved in. Josh and the Riviera crew were professional, easy to communicate with, flexible, and knowledgable. They did a great job snaking cables behind existing walls without making a huge mess -- upgrading the electric panels -- recommending fixtures -- and they even helped recommend a handyman who's services we used to do some of the non-electric work in the house. All of the work done by Riviera Electric was performed in a timely fashion. Josh happily and patiently continues to answer any questions I have related to electricity. I would happily recommend Riviera to anyone needing electrical work.

He came provide a good estimate started right away finished less than hour.  I had my range hood replaced and also these new hood needed a three prong outlet.  He removed and replaced my range hood.  Added the new outlet instead of the old range hood connection.   He also cleaned up after he was done.

I was very pleased with Martin's work - he came a few minutes early on the day he was to give me an estimate (promptness always appreciated).  The job was fairly extensive in that it involved moving an illegally installed  control panel to a legal spot as well as installing a larger panel.  It was expensive, but I felt it was a fair price and I just appreciated his committing to a price because my previous electrician waffled on what it would cost and I did not want to go into a job and have no idea what I would be charged at the end.  Work was begun later that day and this job was finished that night (a second, smaller job was completed the next morning).  I felt very comfortable with both men working in the house; and actually went out twice to run errands locally.  He will definitely be my go to electrician going forward!

Super expensive - Charged me $800 for 20 minutes of work (if even that long with little to no cost in parts)

I'll never hire a project cost based electrician ever again like them but will instead hire someone by the hour

I suspect the simple work was done correctly but had I shopped around a bit more, it likely would have cost me $100-$200

In response to the owner's response, I definitely used first class electric and am not mistaken - the technician was Brad M. - he was very nice and responsive - my only issue was the excessive cost that I didn't know to get additional quotes for - I prefer not to identify myself to the owner for fear of reprisal

I've since learned it's almost always better to hire an electrician for $100/hour or so than to have a fixed price ahead of time, had I been told it would have taken only 20 minutes to do the work, I would have looked around further for other prices

MD Electrical Solutions are very honest , reliable and most importantly don't take advantage of people . We live in Morris County, and we lost power for the past few days due to the storm. Thru a referral we contacted Mark and Mike, and they made arrangements to come onsite ASAP, install a generator subpanel and walk us thru the process. They are licensed professional , and made helped us gain power into our home while the Public Utilities is working on all the damage to the town. We have 2 little boys and elder grand parents that reside with me so it is quite difficult to be displaced and search for hotels.  The team could of easily charged more , as non licensed electricians called me and wanted to charge higher. If you are looking for honest hardworking team that don't try to make a profit when disaster strike I would go to MD Electricians. Gary Thomas of GAT Electrical Services was just here, and installed a ceiling fixture (a chandelier) for us. He did a wonderful job! He was very nice, knew exactly what he was doing, and did a very clean and quick install.

This fixture, according to comments on the web, is a pain in the neck to install. Gary had zero trouble with it. My wife and I are so glad we got GAT Electrical Services to do the work. And the chandelier looks wonderful!

I reached out to a dozen of electricians (a lot of high Yelp ratings) to put in a 40 amp Wallbox EV charger in my garage. Some wanted to overcharge me and some did no call no shows. Roland from NYC Tesla Electricians gave me a quick response, arrived to my house ON TIME for the consultation, and completed the job in one day. He also didn't try to overcharge like other electricians. I am usually wary of hiring companies with no Yelp review but I am so lucky to find this company to finish my small project. Please give NYC Tesla Electrician a try and support them by giving them Yelp reviews so they get more future projects!

Luis has done a great job for us on multiple occasions. He installed a three-way switch for our basement lights, re-wired all our outlets to ground them, installed the plugs for our washer and dryer, amongst other things and has done a great job each time. We've had his work checked for inspection and passed. He always sends itemized cost estimates for each job I've asked him to do and doesn't try to nickle and dime you. He is a very straightforward guy and working with him has been a very pleasant & stress-free experience. I highly recommend him!
