When you call an electrician you expect to be misguided and ripped off. It's like having heart surgery without medical insurance. You cringe and anticipate the final bill. You expect to have more work done than originally expected. You look to hock jewelry to pay this surgeon of voltage. That was far from the case when calling these guys. Mike quickly diagnosed and quoted an estimate on cost. Repair was done within 2 hours and quote was on point. It was like having your favorite uncle come over to fix the situation. Three adjective to describe... Fair, honest and funny. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

Klod is superb - he undertook a project all in record time. He was punctual, responsive and diligent. I could not be happier with the work he has provided. He is also reasonably priced!

12-7-13 Made an appt for Monday 2PM (12-9-13), I explained I had a small windows to get in, with a problem tenant, who's going to make things hard for us.

12-9-13 Got a call at 7AM from said problem tenant, forcing to push back appt by 1 hour.  I called the electrician to see if this was possible, he confirmed with me it was ok, and asked me to text him the address again, which I did at 9:25AM.  So appt pushed back to 3PM

12-9-13, 2:45, called and texted numerous times no answer.  No show

3:48PM, finally get a text back saying Can't come today, sorry.  Called back no answer.

12-13-13 Texted the following message Thanks for the review. I didn't promise you to come on Monday, I didn't give you straight answer.  But whatever

Excuse me?  I explained I had a very small window to get in right away, and asked if you could work with that.  I confirmed with you again day of early in the day, and you asked me to text you the address again.  I started trying to contact you 15 minutes prior to this appt which you never promised.  Left messages, sent texts.  I don't get a response from you until an hour later?  I called again looking for an explanation right after receiving your text, and was ignored.

Excellent service, price and quality of workmanship. I had a gentlemen named Ralph come over to my apt and give me an estimate. Two weeks later he arrived with equipment to install an overhanging ceiling light. Since I rent the apt, he had to install  it in such a way as to not drill behind the cement. Turned out beautiful. Would recommend Ralph as well as the company anyday.

I had a some small electrical problems I had been putting off.  But when all the lights went out in the bathroom, it was time to do something.
I called Gaston because he was close, and I knew the travel time would be short.  He got there in fifteen minutes, and this is without it being an emergency!
He fixed the bathroom and the other things that weren't working.  He was quick, professional, and friendly.  That's a really pleasant combination.

John definitely took care of my needs for electrical work needed for my garage. They were very detail oriented and made sure my neighbors thought they were very considerate.

Just used Dan again and another job well done. Answered my message right away and was able to come fix the problem the very next day. He fixed my pool pump and tested and secured an outdoor outlet. My kids were thrilled that he was able to fix our issue promptly and that they were able to swim that same day. He is honest, professional, and overall a really nice guy. We will always use this company for our electrical projects.

Ezrick is a 5 star electrician and person. He goes above and beyond to do a great job. He also is easy to schedule with and gets a job done quickly. I highly recommend him.

First off when you deal with CEL Electric, you're dealing with the owner of the company not just another employee. Scott has done several projects in our 120 year old brownstone and these are not simple or straightforward jobs. The building's wiring is original and needs to be handled with great care and that's exactly what we've experienced on each job he handled for us. His electrical work is first-rate and he is meticulous working with outlets and switches on old, dry plaster walls and fans on ornate ceilings and that's something often overlooked with electricians. Each and every time I've called, he's been super responsive and we've had no qualms with his quotes. No reason to even think about using anyone else and that's a great feeling.

Yoni and his crew are precise, to the point, professional working electricians. I called him at 3 he was at my home at 4. I lost power on my 2nd fl and he told me I had to run a new line, gave me a reasonable price. Yoni completed the job within a few hours and also cleaned up after himself. I cannot thank Yoni enough for the quick work he did. I will most definitely be giving him a call when I need any electrical work done in my home.

Ilya does excellent quality work at a very reasonable price. He installed a ceiling fan for me and was quick, tidy, and friendly. He provided a quote quickly and accurately, kept me updated on when he would arrive, and arrived on time (even a little early). When after installing the fan he found out that it had an issue and would have to be replaced, he did not have me pay for the installation until he had installed the replacement and only charged me for one installation, despite the fact that the issue wasn't his fault. I highly recommend Ilya!

I could not be happier with Don from DLP Electric. He is super knowledgeable and professional and showed up early. Last week, he helped me resolve an issue with the entire electrical wiring in the house where I rent an apartment. Don's expertise is going to get me thousands of dollars back from my landlord for overpayment of PSE&G bills. There were 2 electricians here that day, and it was clear that Don was the true expert. Scheduled an estimate and they were supposed to come within a specific timeframe, text before coming.  No call, no show, no follow up.

My husband and I hired Zabivay to fix a problem with our shower (the water never got hot) a few weeks back. We directed him to the wrong pipe to shut off water which resulted in a surprising flood! He tended to the problem quickly and thoroughly, and handled our freakouts with patience and compassion, and without defensiveness, though it was clearly not his fault. Now, after 3 years of tepid showers in the dead of winter, we can finally take hot showers!

Needed an electrician last minute for a neon chandelier install for one of our clients because our initial electrician backed out last minute. Usually when we mention high voltage or neon most electricians would back away but after talking to Avi over the phone about the process and materials we would need he hopped on the job! He efficiently provided the electrical work we needed to complete our job and he was truly a life saver! we couldn't have asked for a better person to do the job! I called Roman to get a couple recessed lights in my bathroom working. It didn't seem to be an issue with the bulbs and I'd never encountered an issue with a fixture. Ramon sent over two guys. They discovered it was a problem with the transformer, went down to a shop a block away to get it and got everything working, A day after they left the second fixture blew and they returned, diagnosed a bad socket, replaced it in half the time (so half the expense), and now everything works perfectly.

5/5 I will call them again if I need other electrical work.

Quick update to reinforce the five star rating. Mike and his team especially Eric are expert troubleshooters. They resolved outdoor lighting that kept having the circuit breaker tripped in no time. Efficient and reasonable rates are why this company is so busy all the time. On top of it, they are accessible and very responsive to customers. I highly recommend them for any house or commercial establishment. They are simply the best.
