I have been using Hitchingham Electric for a number of years. I recently had them change light fixtures in my kitchen and hallways, replace some dimmer switches and install a bathroom towel heater. Mike , the owner is incredibly patient and detailed in explaining what is involved  before he starts the work. He and his partner are meticulous in their work. Everything is working wonderfully, especially the towel heater! and is perfectly installed. I especially like that Mike  takes the time to explain all the options so I can get the best deal for my money.

I have nothing but praise about my experience with Titanium Electrical moving a junction  box and installing a chandelier in my living room. Starting from when I first reached out on  Yelp for an estimate, they were extremely responsive - even willing to talk on a Sunday to answer my question and get more details on the job so they could provide an accurate quote . They also responded immediately to my follow up texts.
Day of went extremely well and the team was great at making adjustments on the spot to adjust for some unknowns that came up that pictures alone could not reveal. They are even coming out next week to make a small tweak (completely my fault as they asked me about it onsite and I changed my mind after the fact). I'm extremely particular and they exceeded all expectations even cleaning up after themselves and wearing masks and shoe covers throughout. I highly recommend

Half our power went out after a winter storm. I called Rich on a Sunday to request emergency service since I have twin babies and the space heater in our living room was nonfunctional as well as the fridge.  Rich came over himself within two hours; while the issue was with ConEd, he hooked up our fridge so it was running and placed a ticket with ConEd to fix the power issue.  He was extremely professional, friendly, and easy to work with.  In the past, I've spent hours waiting for HVAC people and plumbers who finally arrive way past the appointed time and require multiple calls on my part. Our building had called another electrician (at the same time I called Rich) who finally turned up about two hours after Rich left.  I can't overemphasize enough how difficult professionalism and reliability is to find in this city!  Rich took a lot of anxiety out of the situation and I was able to spend a pleasant day with my babies with minimal interruption.  Highly recommend.

Mickhael was great. Mickhael responded within the hour to my request for a quote and after a couple of questions about types of lights he sent me a very reasonable quote for installing two fans and two light fixtures on dimmers. We set up a time and date and again he was accommodating, coming in at 6 pm after work. The day of, he confirmed in the afternoon and was on time. He went right to work and had the fans and lights running in no time. I don't wear outside shoes around the house and he noted that and took his off without asking which I appreciated. He worked diligently and competently. The price we set is the price I paid. I would not hesitate to contact him again for other electrical projects.

We have a basement storage space that has been without electricity for months now.  I finally got around to calling someone to come and fix it.  Mark showed up the same day I called.  He worked for a little over an hour (having to rewire the electricity after a blow out and put in a light switch).  He had all the materials he needed and didn't need to come back.  He gave us a light switch with outlets (which is extremely helpful) and was done so fast.  The price was more than reasonable for the amount of things he fixed.  Thanks Mark!

He quoted us one price ($350) and then the next day charged double for the work.  Would not recommend.  So completely unacceptable.

We bought our house and needed serious rewiring and recessed lights installation work done. John came and listened to my concerns and needs. He provided me the quote and same evening, sent me the list of materials he would require to complete the job. After delivery of materials, John was quick to install the lights and begin the rewiring work.
Our plan was to install a multitude of 3 switches, create separate lighting zones, as well as other ad-hoc ideas.
John was always willing accommodate and was able to complete the job accurately. I also want to commend him on his communication skills and quick responses at any time of day.
Will definitely turn to him for our electrical needs.

Didn't come when scheduled or call to tell my he'd be late. I had to call him to find out where he was and he said he could come later. When he did come I had him change three lighting fixtures. He charged me $90 for each one. One of them didn't work but he charged me anyway and was going to leave me with no light there until I told him that I needed some sort of light in that room so he reattached a part from an old fixture there so I have a bulb and wires hanging out of the ceiling. Left parts of fixtures, plaster, and electrical parts everywhere. Got plaster all over my new couch. He said he'd come back and put up the new fixture when I get a replacement but I'm afraid he'll get plaster and parts everywhere so I'm going to have to go with someone else. What a waste of money.

First off when you deal with CEL Electric, you're dealing with the owner of the company not just another employee. Scott has done several projects in our 120 year old brownstone and these are not simple or straightforward jobs. The building's wiring is original and needs to be handled with great care and that's exactly what we've experienced on each job he handled for us. His electrical work is first-rate and he is meticulous working with outlets and switches on old, dry plaster walls and fans on ornate ceilings and that's something often overlooked with electricians. Each and every time I've called, he's been super responsive and we've had no qualms with his quotes. No reason to even think about using anyone else and that's a great feeling.

Yoni knows nothing about customer service -- he really appears very slow, uninterested in doing the work and even rude. I would be aware of the fact that most positive reviews on this site are written in a similar vein and seem phony to me.

I called Ilya on a Monday at 4pm and he was at the Greenpoint restaurant I own within an hour. I had a few issues: outlets that weren't working anymore but couldn't be fixed with the switch of a circuit breaker, fried electrical socket, and broken lighting fixtures. Ilya quickly fixed the outlets that weren't working. He didn't have the parts to fix the fried socket and lighingt fixture, but told me he could order the parts and do the job within a couple of days. He gave me a very fair price, also. He even told me how I could fix the lighting fixture myself to save money, because it turned out to be a pretty simple fix. I trusted him, and felt comfortable doing business with such a kind and professional young man. I will absolutely be calling Ilya back any time I need electrical work done at my business. Thanks!

Our thermostat wasn't working and it turned out to be an issue with the wiring between it and the furnace.  I contacted DLP that evening and they were here first thing by next morning. Don worked quickly, yet took the time to explain what he was doing. Extraordinary professionalism and great work all around. I'll definitely keep DLP at the top of my list for any electrical needs that requires a professional.  Highly recommend.

I needed to add an outlet in my bathroom and they did a wonderful job and reasonable price. About a month later i had some questions and they were able to help me.

Sergey was prompt and because I have an  older tankless  toilet , after initial repair , it required him to make a couple of trips to the hardware store to fix my problem. He also adjusted an item on my tub plumbing. I can only add to the list of accolades for him: Outstanding. Will use again.

I had an emergency outage in an apartment. Electrify responded quickly; sent out a man to address the problem. He quickly reviewed what was causing the outage, was able to get things working again, and then proposed a longer term solution. The pricing was fair.

Katie and her assistant installed some towel bars for us. They did a great job and we're safe and careful. It was very easy to set up the appointment and communicate with her. I will definitely contact her again for future projects!

Roman came to fix an electrical problem. After 3 visits, I had to call another electrician. He stopped returning my calls. I paid him the money to do the job and he left a bigger mess than was there to begin with. Several of the breakers needed to be changed (I have the evidence on my desk) and the outlet he fixed was not grounded. This caused us a lot of unnecessary headache with our internet providers, when it was a simple electrical issue.

Great Electrician! We have used Mike at our home and at our business. He was always on time and very professional. His prices were very reasonable and his Workmanship is unmatched from any other electrician we have ever dealt with! I highly recommend Gladiator Electric!
