The project ended up looking spectacular, with a few hairy moments that only made the outcome more satisfying. Hitch was always willing to go above and beyond for our project, and to teach me about electrical nuances that I'm more worldly to have understood.

Rich is a true professional and overall great guy. He was able to take care of my semi split connection and fix an ongoing issue I had with my electrical stove without charging exaggerated fees.  Rich is definitely the licensed professional you want in this city and I highly recommend him.

I reached out to several electricians after going through reviews on Yelp. Mickhael was very responsive, willing to come by our apartment to give us a quote on the project, and able to work with our schedules. His prices are incredibly reasonable and he got the job done quickly and without cutting into the ceiling more than he had to. We will absolutely use Mickhael again for other electrical projects.

These guys are great.  Anthony was friendly and responsive in setting up my appt, and Mark came by and diagnosed the problem quickly.  Would highly recommend.  Thanks guys.

gaston is the best

this happened last night, july 2nd. at 11 pm on the saturday before 4th of july. we went out all day, came home. 10 minutes later, power went out but only for our apartment. my gf is on dialysis, so her equipment needs power to function. by the time i got access to the basement, it was well after midnight. found gaston on yelp, he picked up almost immediately and in under 1 hour he was here. fixed the problem quickly, helped us out TREMENDOUSLY. if gaston had not been available we would have been in a terrible situation. after midnight on a holiday weekend? only a good hearted soul would come through in a time of need like this, saved us a hotel stay, an entire refrigerator's worth of food, plus difficulties with dialysis!!

John definitely took care of my needs for electrical work needed for my garage. They were very detail oriented and made sure my neighbors thought they were very considerate.

Danny has stellar customer service and while he was unable to fix my issue due to his license being valid in NY and I live in NJ he was still willing to offer a long and very informative explanation on my issue. Not too many ppl are willing to help without any financial benefit.

I am certain that if Danny was licensed in my state that I would hire him in a heartbreak.

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Didn't come when scheduled or call to tell my he'd be late. I had to call him to find out where he was and he said he could come later. When he did come I had him change three lighting fixtures. He charged me $90 for each one. One of them didn't work but he charged me anyway and was going to leave me with no light there until I told him that I needed some sort of light in that room so he reattached a part from an old fixture there so I have a bulb and wires hanging out of the ceiling. Left parts of fixtures, plaster, and electrical parts everywhere. Got plaster all over my new couch. He said he'd come back and put up the new fixture when I get a replacement but I'm afraid he'll get plaster and parts everywhere so I'm going to have to go with someone else. What a waste of money.

Scott was very communicative and able to come out on short notice, no hoops to jump through. He saw the job through until it was totally fixed and remained available and responsive during a small hiccup with the project.

I reached out to a couple of electricians in the area to install recessed lights and a box to install two fans for my apartment. Yoni was the only one that came to see the place and provided me a quote, answered all my questions and truly assessed the place to make some recommendations which I sincerely appreciated.
Yoni and his team were very professional and able to accommodate my tight schedule and the job was superb. It was just a great experience and I felt very comfortable. He will definitely be my electrician moving forward.

This review is long overdue. Ilya And his crew are first rate. He will give you options after a discussion of your wants and a thorough assessment of your space. He doesn't make promises he cannot keep just to make a deal. His attitude is no nonsense yet patient. He will do whatever he can to make your project a reality, but is upfront with setting realistic expectations. Prices are very reasonable for Manhattan and the quality of work. He and his crew were neat, and paid attention to detail. He was also more than gracious dealing with my difficult coop managing agency that required proof of vaccination, IDs, licenses, COI, disability and SOW.

SOW included adding a dedicated line for my AC, combining two lines to one switch, installing several lighting fixtures, and repositioned and stabilized 9 outlets throughout my apartment. They completed in two days because they found some of the old wiring had to be replaced in our prewar apartment.

I've worked with numerous other electricians and construction crews, and Ilya is the most honest, professional and skilled that I've experienced. I only wish he did more than electrical work.

I asked a handyman to install my ceiling fans, but once he opened up the fixtures he realized it was beyond his capacity and that an electrician was needed. A friend recommended Don. I called him and he came quickly for a free estimate, then got me into his busy schedule a couple days later. He arrived when he said he'd arrive and charged what he said he'd charge. I will be using him in the future, for sure.

I called to ask for estimate and ask if estimate would be free. Guy on phone assured it was free.  When technician came to apartment to check what is needed, he charged $250 for the diagnostic work. That is a bait and switch.  I was promised a free written estimate, none of it was given.

Highly recommend his work. Had to exchange all of my 2 prong outlets to a 3 prong and he gave me a very reasonable quote and did his work swiftly. Thankfully they also service part of Brooklyn and I'm very happy with my outlets.

Needed an electrician last minute for a neon chandelier install for one of our clients because our initial electrician backed out last minute. Usually when we mention high voltage or neon most electricians would back away but after talking to Avi over the phone about the process and materials we would need he hopped on the job! He efficiently provided the electrical work we needed to complete our job and he was truly a life saver! we couldn't have asked for a better person to do the job! I totally recommend Avi if you're in need of any electrical work! (especially neon)

Katie did a fantastic job recaulking our bathroom. She was responsive, very professional and has great attention to detail. Cannot recommend her more!

Did not have a good experience with these guys. I reached out for a diagnosis & quote--the next thing I know I get a call from one of my stores telling me that the electrician is already on-site fixing the issue. Fast service I guess, but I had not given him approval to do the work. In fact, upon receiving a very pricey quote, I had decided to work with someone else. When they emailed me an invoice later that day, I responded to explain my frustrations & never heard back from them. He also brought a friend along with him who didn't seem to be affiliated with the company and was fiddling with our store fixtures the entire time...very strange. Anyway, I work with plumbers, handymen, electricians, & exterminators everyday & have never had someone show up with out express approval of an estimate before. It was very frustrating.

I feel compelled to say how absolutely pleased we are to have hired Gladiator Electric. Mike & crew went above and beyond to make sure the work was handled with complete professionalism and courtesy! This included searching my property for extra siding to patch what they had to tear away, and also having enough supplies with them to install a flush mount ceiling light I bought at Lowes that was missing several installation parts.

If would recommend GLADIATOR ELECTRIC to ANYONE in need of reliable electric work.
