I called Mike looking for help with a somewhat niche electrical issue at the office I work at. Although he couldn't help me he took the time to send me a list of other electricians he recommended. It was a huge help and I really appreciated him making the effort. Thanks Mike!

I needed an outlet installed for a vent hood. He responded right away, quoted a good price, and was available very quickly. He stayed in communication to let me know when he would be arriving, and did the job well - even installed the hood as well for a little extra! It was one of the smoothest experiences I've ever had hiring a professional; I'll definitely be coming here with any future electrical needs.

I highly recommend Rich and his crew at NYC Queens Electrician. I had a number of projects in my pre-war co-op apt in Jackson Heights including installing some ceiling fixtures and a chandelier, as well as switching out all my plugs and light switches. Rich was able to come by quickly to provide an estimate and then followed up the next day with all the paperwork necessary for my Board to approve the project. His crew were efficient, friendly, had an eye for detail, and made sure I was happy with the work. On top of all that, the pricing was competitive. I'll definitely use Rich again in the future.

Awesome sauce! So Mickael is the boss; I communicated with him via telephone and then text, then a soft spoken young man named Eugene came to do the job. Both men were prompt to respond, got the job done well, professional, as promised and quoted, and they were flexible to my changing schedule without hiking up the price which I really appreciated. Eugene set up my new 'permanent air bed' by Habitat Furnishings, a 'knock off' sleep number bed. Even cooler was that Eugene asked if he could have my old mattress for a homeless guy he knew. I had tried giving it away for the last 2 weeks to no avail so that really made my day; it was just 22 months old and although it wasn't working for me anymore, I hated the idea it was about to go into the trash. Thank you gentlemen!

Do not go with Nair.  I am surprised at the past positive reviews given my negative experience.  
I hired him to simply diagnose and fix a faulty breaker to an Ac unit. He charged me a surprisingly exorbitant fee - $250+tax for  less than 30 minutes - up from the usual $175/hr as apparently it was a problem of a 'commercial' nature.  (He separately offered to 'diagnose' my ac problems as well for a low price of $500, and I refused.)
Which I suppose I might have been ok with had the problem been fixed as he claimed.  Unfortunately it was not and the reset on the breaker worked only sporadically.  Not only did the experience cost me his fee but also fees for additional visits from hvac technicians, as they were unable to later properly diagnose problems with the ac unit when the breaker was not functioning well.
I called him again, but he refused to rectify the issue or stand behind his work.
So 1 star for a bad combination - aggressive on charging fees, but failing to stand behind his work.

John came to install an outlet in my basement only a day after contacting him.  he was fast and did a great job with no issues.

Just used Dan again and another job well done. Answered my message right away and was able to come fix the problem the very next day. He fixed my pool pump and tested and secured an outdoor outlet. My kids were thrilled that he was able to fix our issue promptly and that they were able to swim that same day. He is honest, professional, and overall a really nice guy. We will always use this company for our electrical projects.

CEL was a lifesaver.
We had 2 prior Electricians look/work on our home, and they left it worse for the wear. CEL was referred to us, and they came through spectacularly.
They replaced our panel ,added outlets and fixed our lights.

Needed two outlets replaced. Called up Danik based on all the positive reviews. Told them my problem and they offered to come by the same day, which was great. Yoni was very helpful and took about 30 minutes. I was very impressed and will call on them again if I need more work done.

I'm so thrilled I found Ilya here on Yelp!  I texted him re: replacing an old ceiling fan/light combo with a new light fixture I recently bought, and after I sent him a picture of the fixtures, he arranged to come the following morning!  He was polite and knowledgable, got right to work and finished not even 30 minutes later :)  It wasn't cheap but definitely worth the money, and less than an electrical company here in Manhattan quoted me.  Thanks Ilya!

Don is a great, kind, affordable, and efficient electrician. When we were looking for someone to install some lights and outlets and to repair some broken lights, we spoke with some other electricians whose estimates were exorbitant. Don was very fairly priced and was very flexible in scheduling with us. He did such a great job-- we have recommended him to all our family and friends in the neighborhood! It's great we found a knowledgeable electrician!

Ajay from G & R completed a job for me yesterday. He was professional and

accommodating. I had a new dishwasher installed that was sticking out

considerably due to the wiring behind it. He relocated the electrical box

and wiring.  I am completely pleased with the job that was done.

I hired Eugene to do several things I wasn't capable of: patch the holes in the walls and ceiling, and after paint both. He did it perfectly, and extremely fast. Moreover, he helped me to assemble the new furniture that just arrived, and all for reasonable price! The money paid were worth the time I saved and quality I received. I recently completed a renovation of my small kitchen, and it required various electrical tasks. After dealing with a few other flaky electricians, I was happy to connect with the helpful and communicative folks at Electrific. Avi and his team did a bunch of tasks for me, including several light-switch upgrades and the routing/installation of two pendant lamps above my kitchen island. Avi is friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy -- and he actually listens to you. I'll be relying on Electrific for my future electrical needs.

Roman came to fix an electrical problem. After 3 visits, I had to call another electrician. He stopped returning my calls. I paid him the money to do the job and he left a bigger mess than was there to begin with. Several of the breakers needed to be changed (I have the evidence on my desk) and the outlet he fixed was not grounded. This caused us a lot of unnecessary headache with our internet providers, when it was a simple electrical issue.

I had a good experience with Gladiator Electric. I needed a fan/light installed and connected to a switch that was dead in my house. Mike took care of it as well as some other minor work I needed to get done. He was relatively quick, straight forward, reasonably priced and professional about his work. I recommend and will use him again.
