Picture this; a hot and muggy New York City night, fresh groceries in the fridge, and work on the horizon. But one thing... no power in my entire apartment. I'm no dummy but I'm certainly no electrician either. Our building super was on vacation and our office wasn't picking up the phone. My wife and I were at a serious crossroads. I went to Yelp, obviously, and found these guys because t said thy were still open this late on a Sunday night (10 pm). I worked with Mike and he assisted me with getting the electricity back on in my apartment. He walked me through testing each circuit to figure out which was the faulty one. He was patient, calm, and knowledgeable. I have his name and number proudly taped to the inside of my breaker box should I ever need him to come and do some work for us.

Highly recommend and will continue to use Rich's services in the future. He & Devin helped with a couple projects around the apartment and went above and beyond by running out and picking up warmer bulbs for other areas of my home to match the new bulbs I had gotten. Their first quote was not the absolute lowest I received when I was originally searching, but I think it was accurate and I'm super happy with their attention to detail & professionalism so I was down -- I know I won't need to hire anyone else down the line to fix their work or waste a day waiting them to show up for an appointment.  All around thumbs up & high fives

I reached out to several electricians after going through reviews on Yelp. Mickhael was very responsive, willing to come by our apartment to give us a quote on the project, and able to work with our schedules. His prices are incredibly reasonable and he got the job done quickly and without cutting into the ceiling more than he had to. We will absolutely use Mickhael again for other electrical projects.

Mark and George just finished moving two lighting fixtures in our place. I could not have asked for better work. They were courteous and professional, they explained everything they were doing, and things to be aware of in the future. They even cleaned up before they left. Great work.

Do not go with Nair.  I am surprised at the past positive reviews given my negative experience.  
I hired him to simply diagnose and fix a faulty breaker to an Ac unit. He charged me a surprisingly exorbitant fee - $250+tax for  less than 30 minutes - up from the usual $175/hr as apparently it was a problem of a 'commercial' nature.  (He separately offered to 'diagnose' my ac problems as well for a low price of $500, and I refused.)
Which I suppose I might have been ok with had the problem been fixed as he claimed.  Unfortunately it was not and the reset on the breaker worked only sporadically.  Not only did the experience cost me his fee but also fees for additional visits from hvac technicians, as they were unable to later properly diagnose problems with the ac unit when the breaker was not functioning well.
I called him again, but he refused to rectify the issue or stand behind his work.
So 1 star for a bad combination - aggressive on charging fees, but failing to stand behind his work.

We are a property management company so we not only know the technical side of things to make sure that the work gets done properly but also we want the best.  We demand that the contractor is responsive, diligent, technically competent, and can respond to difficult problems.  John from JEM Lighting really impressed me with his work.

Don't let the name of the company fool you.  I had originally thought that this was simply a lighting specialist but he's an electrician by trade.  He can figure out all the electrical needs that you have.  He did for us.

I can tell you that there are a lot of terrible contractors out there.  When there presented with even a slight difficulty that's not normal, they don't know how to react.  But John, quickly pivoted and did the work quickly and at a fair price.

With John, the owner, you'll really find someone who's fair and won't take advantage of you.

Was lucky to find  Conroy Electric. Dan the owner, was able to give me an estimate right over the phone and schedule everything as I needed. He confirmed the day before that he would be there and he arrived at the scheduled time that he said he would be there. Went right to work finished the job in a timely manner and was neat as a pin. In addition he encountered several issues in my old house and yet he was still able to persevere and continue to do the work as needed. Highly recommend Conroy electric and Dan. You will not be disappointed.

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Didn't come when scheduled or call to tell my he'd be late. I had to call him to find out where he was and he said he could come later. When he did come I had him change three lighting fixtures. He charged me $90 for each one. One of them didn't work but he charged me anyway and was going to leave me with no light there until I told him that I needed some sort of light in that room so he reattached a part from an old fixture there so I have a bulb and wires hanging out of the ceiling. Left parts of fixtures, plaster, and electrical parts everywhere. Got plaster all over my new couch. He said he'd come back and put up the new fixture when I get a replacement but I'm afraid he'll get plaster and parts everywhere so I'm going to have to go with someone else. What a waste of money.

We bought a 2 family home in Brooklyn and Cel Electric installed new electrical service for the entire house. Very happy with the service.. will definitely recommend and use them for all my future needs. Will rate them 10 out of 10.

Yoni was quick, meticulous, and professional. He installed an outlet under my sink for a new dishwasher and had to make a number of adjustments to space it correctly. I appreciated his patience with the job. He was also able to answer questions I had about a few other electrical concerns we had. I would definitely call him again.

I usually don't take time to write reviews, but I had such an amazing experience again with DLP Electric,  I had to do what was deserving. I needed to upgrade my basement lighting. Not only did Don come up and design what I needed, he did a total install that was a big job. I have used this company multiple times, and they have come through with such professionalism.  I know there are many choices out there, but as long as this company is in business, they will be my goto for any electrical needs. As for the cost, just what was quoted. The fact that they  are licensed and insured, and providing great service at fair reasonable prices is enough for me to keep coming back. I was exploring some outlet replacement ideas. G&R responded promptly to my inquiry, sent out an electrician to review the job on site for a very reasonable cost, and provided a typed up scope of work and cost estimate on the spot. Will definitely use them again! Reliable, friendly, competent.

Sergey was prompt and because I have an  older tankless  toilet , after initial repair , it required him to make a couple of trips to the hardware store to fix my problem. He also adjusted an item on my tub plumbing. I can only add to the list of accolades for him: Outstanding. Will use again.

I had an emergency outage in an apartment. Electrify responded quickly; sent out a man to address the problem. He quickly reviewed what was causing the outage, was able to get things working again, and then proposed a longer term solution. The pricing was fair.

Katie was wonderful as was the Handyma'am team! Finding a decent handy person has always been a struggle so I'm thrilled to have found the company. Communication was seamless and they arrived on time and completed all of the tasks on our list in a timely manner. They were clean, quiet and totally professional. Given we have a small baby in the house they were quiet and at times we didn't even know they were in the apartment!  Katie was very familiar with our old tricky plaster walls and came with the right tools to do the job. They were also very safe, with covid testing practices in place as well as mask wearing the entire time they were working. Looking forward to hiring Katie again for some other projects we have lined up. Highly recommended!

I have no words for this company, I am speechless. Never in my life have I ever hired a company to be so professional and organized!!! I would never let anyone else touch my Electricity in my house. 10 stars !!!
