I have used Mike Hitchingham a few times, most recently to come into our apartment while we were away for several weeks to replace some under-the-cabinet lighting fixtures.  We did all correspondence by email including selecting the new fixtures (with some solid advice from Mike), getting a quotation, providing a down payment (to purchase the fixtures), and arrange with the building doorman to let Mike it.  We returned from our summer holiday this week, and the new fixtures were perfect -- brighter and better than before.  My only disappointment was that I did not have him replace all the similar lighting in the kitchen.  Nothing was out of place, all old fixtures, new boxes, etc. were left behind (neatly) so that we could verify the work, and the final bill came out far less than the quote.  Mike is 100% reliable and trustworthy; I could not recommend his work more highly.

Super friendly, efficient, resourceful and accommodating!  Klodian went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied.  Highly recommended.

Rich was great.  I had a few issues but no definite work that needed to be done.  I was honest that I already had a couple other people check it out.  He offered his opinions, looked into a few things, and gave me an estimated quote for a big upgrade on the spot.

For now my problems resolved themselves and the upgrade work can wait, but I'll be calling Rich again for jobs both big & small.

I needed to install a new outlet that is 240 volts in my kitchen so that I can install an electric drying machine (live in Crown Heights, Brooklyn). I messaged Mickhael on Yelp late on a Friday night, and he got back to me within minutes. He requested a photo of the electrical panel, and one of the room in question where I needed the outlet. With little more information than that, he provided me a solid quote that I knew was good value, less expensive than several colleagues who had had the same work done on their apartments. After seeking a few more quotes over the weekend, I texted Mickhael and set up his work for the following Monday. He came, did the job quickly and politely, and even checked out the specs of the drying machine I plan to purchase in order to confirm that the specs would work with his new installation, offered me to text him additional questions. There's nothing to complain about, I would contact him again if new projects come up & refer him to friends / colleagues.

Ask for Ralph. Great guy and he did great work. Took the time to fix my bathroom light just how I like it.

We are a property management company so we not only know the technical side of things to make sure that the work gets done properly but also we want the best.  We demand that the contractor is responsive, diligent, technically competent, and can respond to difficult problems.  John from JEM Lighting really impressed me with his work.

Don't let the name of the company fool you.  I had originally thought that this was simply a lighting specialist but he's an electrician by trade.  He can figure out all the electrical needs that you have.  He did for us.

I can tell you that there are a lot of terrible contractors out there.  When there presented with even a slight difficulty that's not normal, they don't know how to react.  But John, quickly pivoted and did the work quickly and at a fair price.

With John, the owner, you'll really find someone who's fair and won't take advantage of you.

Danny is awesome.  Fixed outlets outside and inside that didn't work right, added an outlet to the front of my house, installed a ceiling fan for me.  Honestly, really nice and knows his stuff.  On time and did extra things that I'm sure he didn't anticipate, thanks Danny!

Quick to respond and set up time with me! I needed a burned out outlet replaced and they came by a day or two later. Pricing was slightly higher than with others I reached out to but not too much. Would work with them again. Thanks!

Spent less than 20 mins to troubleshoot to say call NationalGrid to activate the PLP meter and proceeded to charge $260.  Will not use or recommend to anybody.  RIP OFF.

CEL was a lifesaver.
We had 2 prior Electricians look/work on our home, and they left it worse for the wear. CEL was referred to us, and they came through spectacularly.
They replaced our panel ,added outlets and fixed our lights.
I will recommend  this company to anyone who needs Electrical help , when all others have failed

Yoni and his crew are precise, to the point, professional working electricians. I called him at 3 he was at my home at 4. I lost power on my 2nd fl and he told me I had to run a new line, gave me a reasonable price. Yoni completed the job within a few hours and also cleaned up after himself. I cannot thank Yoni enough for the quick work he did. I will most definitely be giving him a call when I need any electrical work done in my home.

My husband and I used Ilya to do all of the electricity for our store renovation in Williamsburg. It was a complicated job: moving an electricity panel, adding multiple outlets (one through the basement to the main floor), moving exterior store lights, hard wiring multiple light fixtures, splitting/adding new light switches. Ilya is great at his job. He's reliable, fast, prompt, clear, patient. He's reasonably priced (we got one quote from a different guy that was double) and helped us open our doors on time. Also a totally sweet guy, and no nonsense.

Don did a wonderful job for us last year installing a fan that was dangerously high. We desperately needed a wall air conditioner switched out for our new one and we couldn't get ANYONE willing to do it. I called Don and he came over right away to do a task that any electrician doesn't want to bother with.  I'm beyond grateful for his kindness and willingness to help us out. Electricians    usually get the work done but Don goes out of his way. I'm beyond grateful for his help. A great electrician and wonderful person.

I had an emergency outage in an apartment. Electrify responded quickly; sent out a man to address the problem. He quickly reviewed what was causing the outage, was able to get things working again, and then proposed a longer term solution. The pricing was fair.

Nic and Odin were dispatched by Handyma'am to help me with some household tasks and I couldn't be happier with their work. Nic painted a sliding door and transformed its grind to a glide. Odin hung 18 pieces of framed art. They both secured an IKEA bookcase to the wall to keep it from tipping over. PLUS they were friendly, answered all my questions, and gave great advice for future home improvement projects. For context, I'm a petite single woman who needs a stepladder to reach just about anything, so the tasks that took Nic and Odin a few hours to complete would have taken me weeks outside of my work schedule, and they wouldn't have been completed nearly as professionally. Handyma'am passes the vibe check with flying colors and I'd recommend them to friends and family in a heartbeat!

I tried to hold my opinion until I make sure it's not my fault. After all, I see all these 5 stars review and I wonder if it's me just overreacting.  However, I did pay $200 for nothing, so I thought I should say something.

Although not on time, running more than an hour late without informing me, Serafin was a friendly person. But before his visit, 7 out of the 10 kitchen lights worked, but when he left, none of the lights worked. The kitchen was also left as a huge mess that I spent a long time to clean up.

When I was charged $200 for making my apartment situation worse, I was shocked, but I still paid because I respect people taking their time helping, although my time was obviously not being respected.

My first time having to hire an electrician and these guys were great. I appreciated a fast response time, willingness to accommodate me the same day despite a busy schedule, coming even earlier than scheduled, and resolving the problem quickly. Eric answered all my questions and made useful recommendations.
