Titanium is the best. They rehabilitated a tired dark basement to a playroom that families can enjoy. From the start of the project  to its completion, Dorian and Klod were on board. They suggested improvements and did additional work without charging us more. I would reccomend their team and will strongly reccomend them to friends and neighbors.

The next time that I need an electrician, Rich of NYC Queens Electrician will be my first call.  He did a great job installing two light fixtures, one of which presented considerable difficulty.

I contacted him based on Yelp and i am so glad I did. His quote for installing a fan was about 40% lower than the person iI was going to use. Excellent communication and very flexible with schedule. Although he was running late from a previous job, he was constantly in contact with me and gave me the option to reschedule, which we didn't. Said he would be at our house within 30 minutes and was right on time. Called as soon as he arrived.

Most importantly, he installed our ceiling fan in 30 minutes, and even did some work in another fan/light that wasn't working with the wall switch, and fixed that too.

He is honest, prompt, neat and does excellent work. Would definitely use him again and will highly recommend him to others.

Mark saved our Thanksgiving!

My husband and I just moved into our apartment and for the first time, hosting Thanksgiving for our families. Two days ago, the lights underneath our kitchen counter that we turn on to prepare and cook food went off. Total darkness in the kitchen. My husband, the electrical engineer, tried new bulbs, restarting the fuze, etc, but nothing worked. I called NYC Electricians after reading their glowing reviews, and they surpassed my high expectations. Mark came on time, and got to the root of the problem - the transformers - within the first few minutes. He spent about an hour with us, and voila - then there was light!

Mark also gave us some recommendations as to a new light switch (we live in a pre-ware apartment and everything is very old). We are very happy to have found NYC Electricians and would highly recommend Mark.

I called Nair and he was able to come the next day to look at an electrical outlet that wasn't working. He fixed it same day. Very professional and communicative! 5 stars!

John is very professional and experienced.  I had a few lights that were not working and he was able to assess the problem which was an easy fix.  I inquired about fixing these lights with another company and they automatically told me that I would need to tear down my ceiling and have everything rewired (before they came to assess the problem in person).  John also installed my chandelier.  Great guy, he gets the job done!

Was lucky to find  Conroy Electric. Dan the owner, was able to give me an estimate right over the phone and schedule everything as I needed. He confirmed the day before that he would be there and he arrived at the scheduled time that he said he would be there. Went right to work finished the job in a timely manner and was neat as a pin. In addition he encountered several issues in my old house and yet he was still able to persevere and continue to do the work as needed. Highly recommend Conroy electric and Dan. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely love the work that Erick and his team at Eco Electrician did on my bathroom fan. This fan used to have to be plugged into an outlet to use like a dive-bar. It was annoying and very frat house-y while Erick was doing another job for me, I ran this by him and he blew me away the results from today's install. Crispy clean work, as usual from Erick. Super amazing with response and stellar craftsmanship! Check out my other reviews for Erick and his team, they've done a lot of great work at my house.

First off when you deal with CEL Electric, you're dealing with the owner of the company not just another employee. Scott has done several projects in our 120 year old brownstone and these are not simple or straightforward jobs. The building's wiring is original and needs to be handled with great care and that's exactly what we've experienced on each job he handled for us. His electrical work is first-rate and he is meticulous working with outlets and switches on old, dry plaster walls and fans on ornate ceilings and that's something often overlooked with electricians. Each and every time I've called, he's been super responsive and we've had no qualms with his quotes. No reason to even think about using anyone else and that's a great feeling.

Called Danik with an emergency issue. Power went out in while house. He was able to get me up and running that night and then completed the job the next day.

Ilya was easy to communicate with over text.  He was clear on the price and explained what he was doing clearly so I learned something while he was fixing my problem.  In my case a previous contractor had messed up the wiring in a switch which affected a whole other room in a weird hard-to-diagnose way.  Ilya figured it out and fixed it and installed a few new outlets and made sure everything looked good.  It took less than an hour.

Don installed a few outdoor flood lights for me along with an indoor chandelier.  He's efficient, fair with the pricing and would definitely recommend him for any electrical project.  He was quick to reply and scheduled quickly as well.

Initially, we were impressed with their professional manner.  They gave a quote which seemed reasonable.  Because of the extensive work we needed, the owner said he had a construction crew that they worked with.  Well I'd like to say this story had a happy ending, but it did not. We were hit up for another 10K for supplies .  Our mistake, lesson learned.  Never give money up front.  Their construction crew did not know what they were doing.  After a week we decided they needed to leave as we were not only furious at the shoddy construction, but every night we would shake our heads in disbelief.  We called in a real professional who apologized that someone in his field would actually call it a professional job.  Imagine that.  We are still trying to correct the mess they left us with.  With regard to the electric work, we were naive and probably would have done things differently.  The job was ok, but just ok.  Moral of story:  NEVER give money without proof of work.  ALWAYS, know what you want and how you want it done.  ALWAYS get references.  ALWAYS get a reference from people that you know.  FINALLY, check YouTube.  There is always video for any work that can be done by yourself.  Would NOT, and WILL NOT recommend this company.

A couple of weeks ago, I hired Eugene to install curtain rods, hang artwork, and repair an entertainment unit. He was excellent! He was professional, knowledgeable, patient and very creative. I highly recommend him.

After an initial problem involving miscommunication on both sides, I ended up contracting with this company. I found their customer service and quality of work to be excellent. Although this was a relatively small job, it was handled with care and professionalism. My husband and I were very pleased with the service.

What wonderful things can't I say about Katie?! So prompt and efficient and got right down to business! We had a great chat with her while she took care of our very old and falling apart sofa. She gave us options as to what she could do to fix the problem, including any additional costs or time frame. She has a plethora of skills and I'm eager to utilize her skills again with other home repair projects. She is comfortable and friendly but wonderfully professional and quick too. Her skill set is very advanced and I trust her willingness and ability to attempt any repair, or give you her honest opinion as to what will/won't work. I would recommend her to anyone and it is honestly refreshing to have a wonderfully talented woman completing these tasks in our home. We'll see you soon Katie!

Ramon was very personable and fairly prompt.  He used a little pen like device to repair relatively all of my fixture problems.  He proceeded to go to his truck (when he got back quite some time later he said that he didn't have the correct light dimmer switch so he went to Gracious Homes down the block) to obtain a switch to replace mine.

After he left I noticed that the switch was not turning on the light immediately after I pressed it on.  I called Ramon and he said that it would cost me an additional $180  if the problem was my fault...
I chose to forego his additional visit.

Several weeks later all of the blown out bulbs that were fixed we're inoperable again.

I am extremely disappointed in this serviceman's operational integrity. He does not stand behind his service and the repair of my antique lighting was only very temporary for a cost of $180+ the cost of the new inferior switch.

Better to research your repairman more thoroughly next time! Roman kept telling me that my antique dining room fixture was old and I should just replaced it even though I explained that it had been my mother's fixture and meant a lot to me!

Ramon...In answer to your retort...my antique fixture was refurbished with new wiring and polishing about eight years ago when I moved from my house into the city.  It is a cherished lighting fixture and I relied on you to correctly fix it...not temporarily use a fix it pen for the repair.  

In addition the main reason I recalled you was because the switch you replaced in the dining area does not work properly. There is a distinct pause before the fixture actually operates.  This has remained the main problem I have with your service...there is no spontaneity for the light to function.  This was why you said you'd charge an additional $180!
Every time I put that light on it malfunctions. There is no reason for a brand new switch to do that at any time!

These guys were terrific! Mike is extremely competent, as well as easy going.  I had received a lower quote from somewhere else, but Mike gladly matched it. Installation was quick, and when they were done I realized that I didn't have any checks to pay him with.  He was completely understanding about it and let me mail it to him.  Awesome service and just simply a really nice guy.  I will definitely use him again!
