The project ended up looking spectacular, with a few hairy moments that only made the outcome more satisfying. Hitch was always willing to go above and beyond for our project, and to teach me about electrical nuances that I'm more worldly to have understood.

Klodian did a wonderful job. He was professional and polite. His price was fair and reasonable. I have some other projects and I will definitely call him again. He also wore a mask to the job which doesn't sound like much but its very important to me because I have a toddler in the house.

Mickle installed three ceiling fans for me and was really great.  Fast, responsive, efficient and absolutely affordable!  Absolutely recommend!

This company was great for fixing electrical issues in two ceiling fans in my apartment.  

When I called, they provided a quote that was reasonable (when compared to other places I called) and as a new customer, fit me into their busy schedule within 48 hours.

I would also recommend the electrician who stopped by, Ralph, who was prepared (even brought a replacement receiver for the fan) and professional. He would walked me through what he was doing constantly and was not pushy. He identified that the fans were improperly wired immediately and worked quickly to fix the issue.

I hope that I don't have additional electrical issues, but will call NYC Electricians if I do.

Nair Electric recently performed an electrical upgrade at my brownstone in Brooklyn. The work was performed within the time frame quoted with no additional costs. They left my house clean, and were very professional,  punctual, and courteous. I highly recommend this firm.

The real JEM here is John. Honest, friendly, and efficient, he gets the job done. Knows his craft and is trustworthy and fair priced. Only good things to say about John and I know I will be calling him again.

I was so lucky when Dan stopped in my yard to ask for the location of an address that was not mine. When I saw his truck, I told him that I needed some work done. After he went to his scheduled appointment, he came back to my house to give me an estimate. The price was right so I asked him to return to install an outlet and convert two fixtures to accommodate LED bulbs. He is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, personable, and professional. I highly recommend him!

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We had a 11.30pm emergency where we lost all power. Erick came out in 45 min and got us back and running. He was honest and kept us calm. He sourced a hard to find part the next day and installed the part within 30min. We couldn't thank him more and will now use him for all our electrical needs. Would recommend to anyone! First off when you deal with CEL Electric, you're dealing with the owner of the company not just another employee. Scott has done several projects in our 120 year old brownstone and these are not simple or straightforward jobs. The building's wiring is original and needs to be handled with great care and that's exactly what we've experienced on each job he handled for us. His electrical work is first-rate and he is meticulous working with outlets and switches on old, dry plaster walls and fans on ornate ceilings and that's something often overlooked with electricians. Each and every time I've called, he's been super responsive and we've had no qualms with his quotes. No reason to even think about using anyone else and that's a great feeling.

Took a bit of juggling to get scheduled but if anything their flexibility was great as they accommodated my schedule and came even on a Sunday. Pricing seems reasonable and they did a job that a prior electrician didn't want to do. Apparently my prior electrician thought the job was impossible but really he just didn't think too hard on how to problem solve to make it work (we were trying to install a bathroom fan and switch, which seemed simple enough). Anyways job complete, so far so good. Would consider for future work.

Ilya really is as good as everyone else on here says, including cleaning up after himself, which, as anyone who has had anyone come to their home to fix something can tell you is very, very rare. Extremely personable as well.

Don did an amazing job installing several new circuits, light fixtures, and dimmer switches for our house.  Very professional, and prompt on responses and quotes.  Highly recommend DLP Electric and will use again.

I called to ask for estimate and ask if estimate would be free. Guy on phone assured it was free.  When technician came to apartment to check what is needed, he charged $250 for the diagnostic work. That is a bait and switch.  I was promised a free written estimate, none of it was given.

Sergey did an expert job identifying and fixing a leak in our basement ceiling. Very honest and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Lights in house were flickering, completely shutting off and on. Called in the morning and received a helpful tech within a few hours. Was able to change a switch and figured out what was causing the flickering. Nothing on our end and more of ConEdison, but they helped get in contact with ConEdison to make sure a service ticket was in place and on their way. Thanks again!

What wonderful things can't I say about Katie?! So prompt and efficient and got right down to business! We had a great chat with her while she took care of our very old and falling apart sofa. She gave us options as to what she could do to fix the problem, including any additional costs or time frame. She has a plethora of skills and I'm eager to utilize her skills again with other home repair projects. She is comfortable and friendly but wonderfully professional and quick too. Her skill set is very advanced and I trust her willingness and ability to attempt any repair, or give you her honest opinion as to what will/won't work. Roman came yesterday afternoon after I called him in the morning. He and his assistant Jason stayed until evening when the job was done and did an amazing job! We had a pendant light installed (in a new location) and 5 other fixtures changed out. They did a great job and vacuumed up everything at the end and took out all of the trash and boxes that accumulated from the install. Roman is incredibly personable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone who has electrical work to be done.

Gladiator Electric website was easy to navigate, and clearly specified what pictures needed to be uploaded for a quote without requiring a visit.

Mike was very prompt and professional in all communications.  Dylan and Eric arrived promptly, worked diligently, were courteous, and completed the job neatly in 2 hours.  Subsequent inspection passed with flying colors.
